MICHAEL MOORE Urges "Help the Dems Win": "A Day Without FOX News"?

Well, apparently the fat farm to which he checked in didn't work. So, instead of stopping his eating binges, the calorically well-endowed Michael Moore is feeding us BS. Hopefully, after tomorrow, the flabulous filmmaker can eat some crow.

You'd think, by now, that Moore and his liberal cronies would know that he doesn't energize Democrats to vote. He energizes conservatives (like me) and Republicans to vote against him and his choices.

Here's what Moore sent out to his list of lefty loonies:

Friends,

Tomorrow night, those who sent 2,800 of our soldiers to their deaths -- all because of a lie the president concocted -- will find out if America chooses to reward them -- or remove them.

As good as things look for the Democrats, do not pop the corks and start the partying yet. Do not believe for a second that the Republicans plan on losing. They will fight like dogs for the next 24 hours -- relentless, unforgiving, nonstop action to squeeze every last conservative voter out of the house on election day. While the rest of us go about our day today, tens of thousands of Republican volunteers are knocking on doors, making phone calls, and lining up rides to the polls. They're not sleeping, they're not eating, they're not even watching Fox News. A day without Fox News? That's right, that's how insanely dedicated they are.

But the reason they have to work so hard is that, before they can get the vote out, they first have to completely turn around the massive public opinion against them. Almost 60% disapprove of Bush. Over 60% are opposed to the war. Those are landslide numbers. And the American people are not going to turn pro-war or into Bush-lovers by tomorrow morning. So it should be easy for us, right?

Yup. Just like it was when we won the popular vote in 2000 and when we were ahead in the exit polls all day long in 2004. You know the deal -- the other side takes no prisoners. And just when it seems like things are going our way, the Republicans suddenly, mysteriously win the election.

Well, it's not really that mysterious. They're out there busting their asses this very minute, right down the street from you. What are YOU doing? You're on a computer reading my cranky letter! Stop reading this! We have only a few hours left to wrestle control of the Congress away from these "representatives" who, if returned, will continue shipping our young men and women over there to die.

Here's what I'm imploring you to do right now:

1. Go through your address book on your cell phone and computer and call/e-mail everyone you know. Tell them how much it would mean to you if they vote on Tuesday. If they don't know where to vote, help them find their polling place.

2. Contact MoveOn.org ASAP. They will connect you to the folks who need you to make calls.

3. Contact your local Democratic Party headquarters. There are close races in nearly every state. They'll put you to work -- on the ground or on the phones. Or go to the local HQ for the Dem candidate running for the House of Representatives or the U.S. Senate and say, "Put me to work!"

OK, turn off the computer -- and I will, too. There's serious work to do. The good news? There's more of us than there are of them. Let's prove that, once and for all.

Is there anything more important that you have to do today? Nothing less than the rest of the world is depending on us.

Yours,
Michael Moore

Let's hope the GOP retains both houses so that this fat bastard gets so depressed, that this time, he'll never get out of bed.

This creep is just beneath contempt. I am glad he is on the other side as he is so condescending to Dems.

Only Republicans are working to get out the vote? Utter rubbish.

I wouldn't want any friend of mine calling me and hectoring me to vote Republican or Democrat because it "means so much to him/her." That just comes across to me as so weird and whiny. I'll vote because I want to, not to placate someone else's feelings.

"Nothing less than the rest of the world is depending on us."

I wonder which part of the world Moore is so worried about?

I love it. Every time these lefty pinkos open their mouths it only helps remind decent people why we voted them out of power and why it's still important to keep them out. Thanks, Michael Moore.

60%? Where does this turd with a ballcap get his stats? Sure, maybe close to 60% of the US voting population disapproves of one thing or another with regard to the Bush administration, but to say that a full 60% of this country's voting public would cast a vote for a lefty is wishful thinking.

Whats the matter with urging people to participate in something that is their constitutional right? Republicans are out in full force trying to stir up the conservative base, I don't see anything wrong with libs doing the same. I've got no idea which way the race is going to go tomorrow, but it will be interesting to see.

This man comes in as number 2 after Goebbels. A whiny liar... Then again this is how Democrats define themselves these days...

It's not just Michael Moore. The Democratic Party has been busy all over with net-based voter mobilization for Congressional and state races. Lots of Meet-Up style fundraising and GOTV.

I just love when libs talk they don't even make it fair. Moore writes with all the emotion of a pissed off 13yr old girl and not a shred of substance. Keep that guy on the TV and on the campaign trail - he's doing wonders for the conservatives. So full of emotional-hatred, voter-frustration, and media-concocted half-truths - that he and the LEFT forget what is important to people - ideas and values – not get out the vote. That may prove effective for a mid-term but does nothing to shape our countries future.

The notion that government can solve anything is ludicrous. To persist in that belief is delusional. The socialist/democratic view, that government should have bigger ideas (their ideas, of course) and a bigger role in controlling our lives, is contrary to liberty and is what our Constitution was designed to prevent. Democrats claim to want social engineering/justice. They really just want power over other people. Delusional and power hungry. Spooky. Why does the concept of freedom, liberty and limited government make them foam like crazy people? Republicans may be a little of the above, too, but at least they can look in the mirror in the morning without throwing up. Isn't there a good drug for this kind of schizophrenia?
