Where is the Missing Iraqi Colonel Who Fled Alabama?
Just great.
An Iraqi Colonel attending an Air Force training program in Montgomery, Alabama has disappeared and fled. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents are looking for him. He left a note, saying he didn't want to return to Iraq.
Who was the officer? No-one is disclosing his name . . . just like the missing 11 Egyptian students who fled, last year, and ICE refused to disclose their names, too (they were, fortunately, all located).
Good to know that this fugitive was selected to learn Air Force methods and secrets before he skipped town. And why the heck did we allow his wife and children to come to the U.S. with him? (Did we pay for them, too?) Isn't that a bad way to insure he'd return to his home country?

An Iraqi air force colonel who fled from Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., where he was in training, is the subject of a wide-reaching manhunt, according to federal officials.The officer has not been identified, and officials at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could not confirm when he first went missing.
Officials at Maxwell referred all questions to ICE.
"ICE has joined the investigation into the whereabouts of an Iraqi military student, and his wife and two young children who disappeared while attending a U.S. Department of Defense training course in Alabama," Richard Rocha, a spokesman for ICE, said in a statement. "Now ICE is working with our international and national law enforcement counterparts, and does not suspect foul play in the disappearances. Furthermore, there is no indication that this case is a national security or public safety concern."
Rocha said officials would not discuss specifics of the ongoing investigation.
The Washington Times reported March 22 that the colonel left a note saying he did not want to return to Iraq. Officials quoted in the Times report said they suspected the man was possibly headed for Mexico.
Air University at Maxwell trains hundreds of Iraqi officers as part of the effort to rebuild the decimated Iraqi air force. The branch was strong under Saddam Hussein's rule but now consists of fewer than 1,000 airmen.
The Iraqi air force has no attack aircraft, but it does possess numerous transport helicopters and cargo and personnel planes, including C-130s.
Good luck finding this guy. They can't even "find" the illegal aliens who march in the streets en masse.
Just add him (and his wife and kids, whose travel here we likely paid) to the tally of the 20 million illegals.

Love your site, but comments like this:

isn't really fair. ICE Special Agents aren't the reason that illegal aliens march in the streets of the USA, and they certainly don't set policy. The politicians and leadership of DHS/ICE should be questioned and held responsible, but it damn sure isn't the fault of the rank and file ICE Agents that are doing the best they can to play the hand they are dealt.
I think statements like this undermine your efforts and frankly your credibility. Thanks
