Around 2002, I went to a Muslim doctor in Chicago; he was a referral. He was Iraqi and tried to engage me in a political conversation about the pre-invasion stuff that was going on at that time. I only went to see him a few times, but he started bother me enough to find another specialist. I'm pretty sure he had a hard time separating his beliefs from his work because he was Muslim. I've never had another doctor engage me in politics in the exam room.

His 'about me' page contains his interrests, favorte movies, and his artwork - including some amazingly cheesy drawings of lions (where's the black velvet?). I wonder if they are meant to be the Lion of Judea? Propably just another martial arts loving young male fantasy image.

Is he here legally? Can he be deported?

Two questions:

1. Where did he get the rifle from? I'm assuming he's here on a student visa, so he wouldn't be allowed to legally buy a gun.

2. What is it with jihadis and bad website design? That web page is just terrible, and would have been considered bad even in 1997. Is it too hard to use some of the free tools to make a decent website? How about a new jihadi site rule - no more than 30 pictures of masked guys with guns per page.

CAIR has NOT stepped into the breach on behalf of Zorkot, perhaps because the $1M bond signals the evidence against this guy is simply going to be too strong to explain away.

CAIR is in a tight spot because, once allow that even one single Muslim Arab jihadist in the USA caught planning misdeeds is NOT the victim of police profiling and Islamophobia, then doubt falls on all the rest.
