Yep, killing Curtis was a major disappointment. And, if they can bring back Tony then they can bring back Curtis. It is theater after all, and it is repeatedly done on 'Soaps,' so why the heck not?

Of course the terrorist is Hispanic. ICE, the largest investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security targets, arrests, detains and removes Hispanics from the United States. Read the press releases at www.ice.gov. Obviously radical Islamists are not a threat to our national security. If the Muslims were the biggest threat, surly ICE agents would not spend all their time chasing Hispanic laborers. You're doing a hell of a job, Julie!

My family and I adore 24, but I fear the Tony Almeida resurrection may be a jump-the-shark moment. Tony's far too likeable and too easy to pity to be a convincing criminal like this. Why not turn Behrooz (Shohreh Aghdashloo's character's son) into a mastermind? How about Cheng Zhi, the Chinese guy? How about Sutherland's fellow stand-by-me alum Wil Wheaton or Corey Feldman?

I don't know about this season. I'm looking forward to it for the sake of it, but I fear they're taking a risk that might end up ending what's been a brilliant series.

More is on the way. If you've been following the Italian toilet story the latest is that the Italian police took all the offending toilets. Some Italian CAIR type group complained. The toilet seat backs had excerpts from the koranimal koloring book and some Latin under a plastic coating. Next they'll be selling prayer rugs at the entrances of Saint Peter's Square.

OK, you people really need to learn the difference between reality and fiction. 24 is a TV show, not a documentary. If you want to see a story about Muslims flying planes into buildings then watch the History Channel.

And before we get too deep into the "Tony is a bad guy", remember that this is 24. There have been several moments in the series where a bad guy turned out to be a good guy (Gael in season 3 for example).

Also, regarding the death of Curtis, in that situation it was the right thing for Jack to do. If there is a live nuke somewhere in the city and the only potential lead you have is a terrorist who has agreed to help out in the investigation, then regardless of his past he is the most important person in the world at that point. I have no problem with Curtis wanting revenge, but there is a time and place for everything, and that wasn't it.

Speaking of TV shows getting all PC and preachy, has anyone else noticed what's happening to Law & Order SVU??

Last weeks episode was all about the US gov't torturing poor innocent Muslims. I'm suprised they didn't go all the way and have a lynching scene.

And in Jericho, it's Bad White Men, Rouge CIA agents, who nuked their own country.

Honestly, this is pretty silly. As others have pointed out, this is a TV show. Let me also mention this, having the same bad guys every year is not interesting, its boring.

To act like a friggin action show has some sort of moral duty to make the characters raving extremist muslims every year is downright stupid. Guess what? Lots of things on 24 don't happen in real life.

For those of you that say it is just a TV show and dismiss that it is important to have a story line that is at least some what factual. I urge you to listen to the commentary on the Season 6 DVD's of 24.

If you don't think Hollywood is trying to brainwash you with their TV shows, Listen to what Kiefer Sutherland has to say about why they chose a black president and any number of issues that were in season 6.

I cannot believe some of you people that just dismiss the fact that it is important for story lines to have some credibility. TV has a great impact on Society and the way people think about the issues of the day.

If you think I am full of it, why do companies pay millions of dollars to get their message out there even if it is just a 30 second spot?
