Last But Not Least St. Patrick's Day Music/Video: Dropkick Murphys
Nearly forgot this, but investigator extraordinaire Bill Warner reminds me of this great song from the awesome "The Departed" Soundtrack: "Shipping Off to Boston," by the Dropkick Murphys.
Says Bill Warner:
My guys for the Irish music is this Dropkick Murphy band and it's Celtic punk, just love it.Love this guy, Al Barr of the Dropkick Murphys, his high energy Gallic punk with bag pipes (what a bizarre oxymoron) is infectious, his most famous song, "Shipping up to Boston"--from "http://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/2006/10/weekend_box_off_25.htmlThe Departed"-- helped make the movie with the band's background music.

Saw them perform about 5 years ago. It's been my cellphone's ringtone for months now.

One of my all time favorite bands. Saw them in concert in KC. Love Shipping off to Boston, For Boston along with Dirty Glass and Workers Song. Also Debbie check out Flogging Molly, especially their album Drunken Lullabies.
