Live From Dearbornistan: Welcome to Islamofascist, Price-Fixing Walmart (Store's Agreement Not to Undercut Muslims Violates Federal Anti-Trust Laws)

Printer Friendly

By Debbie Schlussel

For the last two years, representatives from Walmart's corporate headquarters met with and pandered to the most extremist, Islamofascist leaders in Dearborn's Islamic community, including FBI award revokee and "former" Islamic terrorist Imad Hamad, so that they could plan the new so-called "Arab American" Walmart in Dearbornistan. But there's nothing "Arabic" about it. Walmart didn't meet with Chaldeans (Catholic Iraqis) or Maronite Christians from Lebanon or even the Druze community. They met only with Muslims.

islamiccrescent.jpg

This store is not "Arab-American." It's ISLAMIC. That's why the Walmart panderers met with extremist, Hezbollah-supporting Imams, and terrorist Hamad. And that's why Newsweek writes about his second wife (his first was a sham marriage for citizenship when he violated his student visa), Arwa Hamad (who has a penchant for filing insurance claims and lawsuits over "car accidents"--not, of course, mentioned in the Newsweek article). No mention if there are footbaths in the locker room for the store's many Islamic employees, but I'm sure they're there.

And, to make matters worse, Walmart hired Suehaila Amen, an openly anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, pro-Hezbollah Shi'ite Muslim to give ethnic sensitivity training to Walmart employees. Yup, an anti-Semite supporter of Islamic terrorists giving sensitivity training. Sounds about right. As a teacher in the Dearborn Public Schools, Amen violated campaign finance laws by using Dearborn Public School resources to campaign for her Muslim friend and Medicaid defrauder Ismael Ahmed when he ran for University of Michigan regent (he now runs the State of Michigan's Medicaid unit, after defrauding it). Yup, Walmart is into ethics . . . Islamic world "ethics".

But it gets even worse. Walmart is violating the law--engaging in price-fixing agreements with the Islamic community and agreeing not to underprice its local Hezbollah-financing Shi'ite stores, so as not to put them out of business. Why will they do this for Ahmed and Mohamed, but not Mom and Pop Smith in other American communities? If I were one of the many businesses across America driven into the ground by Walmart, I'd sue Walmart on discrimination and unfair competition grounds, since the retail giant only helps its Muslim competitors stay in business. Who wants to join me in my complaint against Walmart to the Federal Trade Commission for unfair, anti-competitive practices and price-fixing? It's patently illegal. I wish I could say this is capitalism at its worst. But it's not capitalism or free market competition. It's whoring:

As Arwa Hamad strolls a new Wal-Mart, an eight-foot display of olive oil stops her in her tracks. "Oh, wow," she says, marveling at the sight of so many gallons of Lebanese extra virgin. "We could go through one of these in a week in my house." Around the corner, row upon row of gallon jars of olives—from Turkey, Greece, Egypt and Lebanon—soak in deep hues of purple, red and green. "Look at the size of these olives," says the stay-at-home mother of three and native of Yemen. Hamad, 34, has shopped at Wal-Mart before, but never one like this. She is overcome with nostalgia as she spots Nido powdered milk and Al Haloub Cow, canned meat she calls the "Arabic Spam." "My father loves this," she says. "People from war-torn countries, this is what you lived on when you couldn't go out of the house to shop." This Wal-Mart, though, isn't in a war zone. It's in Dearborn, Mich., home to nearly a half-million Arab-Americans, the largest concentration of Arabs outside the Middle East. [DS: Um, Dearborn is, indeed, a war zone. It's a silent cultural war. And we've lost.]
walmartmuslim.jpg
As-Salaam Aleikum to Islamo-Walmart. How May I Jihad You?
As America changes, so does the store where America shops. In Dearborn this week, the world's largest retailer opens a store like no other among its 3,500 U.S. outlets. Walk through the front door of the 200,000-square-foot supercenter and instead of rows of checkout counters, you find a scene akin to a farmers market in Beirut. Twenty-two tables are stacked high with fresh produce like kusa and batenjan, squash and eggplant used in Middle Eastern dishes. Rimming the produce department are shelves filled with Arab favorites like mango juice from Egypt and vine leaves from Turkey used to make mehshi, or stuffed grape leaves. A walled-off section of the butcher case is devoted to Halal meats, slaughtered in accordance with Islamic law (when a Wal-Mart manager noticed the pork section was too prominent he ordered it moved, since Muslims don't eat pork). In the freezer case, you'll find frozen falafel. You can also pick up a CD from Lebanese pop singer Ragheb Alama or buy Muslim greeting cards.

Wal-Mart's Arab-American emporium provides a preview of the retail giant's latest strategy to boost business as it reaches the saturation point in its American expansion. . . . The Dearborn store, though, is the most extreme example of the concept. Wal-Mart offers its standard fare, plus 550 items targeted at Middle Eastern shoppers. "In the past, Wal-Mart has been pretty cookie-cutter when it comes to merchandise," says Dearborn store manager Bill Bartell. "But this time, we really got to know the community. We're blazing a trail here." . . .

Wal-Mart started two years ago to meet with imams and moms, conducting focus groups at Middle Eastern restaurants. Wal-Mart learned the community wasn't as concerned about seeing Arabic-language signs as they were with dealing with Arabic-speaking staff. So Bartell hired about 35 Arabic speakers, including Suehaila Amen, a local middle-school teacher who is providing ethnic-sensitivity training to the 650 employees. He also learned not to bother stocking traditional Muslim clothing, like the headscarf, or hijab, Amen wears. "The community told us, 'I would not feel comfortable coming to Wal-Mart to buy my hijab'," says assistant store manager Jordan Berke. "We're not here to overstep our bounds." [DS:; Translation. We're here to pander. How much further would you like me to bend over?]

Despite the sensitive sell, local shopkeepers still worry about Wal-Mart. "There is a fear factor in the business community," says Osama Siblani, publisher of Dearborn's Arab American News. To allay those fears, Wal-Mart is making an extraordinary promise: it will not undercut the prices of the small local merchants (though it will still go after Kroger). The insular company even agreed to be scrutinized by a "community advisory board" made up of local Arab-American leaders to ensure it isn't harming the mom-and-pop shops. One example: Wal-Mart agreed to charge one dime more than local grocers for a six-pack of pita bread.

Arwa Hamad says her devotion to Dearborn's Muslim merchants doesn't simply rest on one thin dime. After all, when her husband goes to their Arab butcher, he buys in bulk. "It's hard to get half a lamb at Wal-Mart," she says. And yet, the more she wanders the aisles, the more she likes. There are the Turkish sweets and dried dates her kids love, and the Nescafe coffee she adores. "This brings back memories from home," she says. "I'll never forget Mustafa's corner store, but as soon as this place opens, I'm coming here with my checkbook." Going native just might be the next way Wal-Mart wins.

Mustafa's "corner store" (the Green Market--a giant Hezbo-financed market with the blessing of Sheikhs Nasrallah and Fadlallah back in Lebanon) is well-known as a supporter of Hezbollah, and he's been under investigation for years (by then-U.S. Customs agents in Detroit) for money-laundering to the terrorist group. And we can't have Walmart hurting that. Can we?

Disgusting. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT WALMART AGAIN! And neither should you.

These pit-dwelling, Stone-Age throwbacks are revolting and repulsive. The only thing more revolting and repulsive are the PC morons who pander to these savages.

These islamic women don't have the balls to stand up to the men who dominate them, control them, and beat them, but they got a big mouth when it comes to intimidating the Infidel.

Whenever I see one of these captive brood sows obligatorily dressed up in their bedsheets in public I just shake my head and wonder where my country went. Sometimes I wonder why we fought all those wars in our history.

This is the straw that broke my back. I've been getting tired of dealing with the s--t bags at the Canton Walmart for a while and don't see a good reason to keep going now for sure. I will now look at the parking lot at that place like I do at the gas stations and liquor store. Home of the enemy in our midst. I hope the next pres does something about this immigration mess. HOPE.

We don't have to wait for the Islamists to cut our throats. We're doing the job ourselves. When will the American Sheeple wake up? When they're being herded into the Infidel Beheading Centers which our Muslim fiends will be all too happy to set up for us?

This is basically Capitalism. Capitalism is good. Wal Mart is simply accommodating their target market We don't need to be angry at Wal Mart, we need to be angry at the immigration policy that allowed these stone age dwellers to form enough of a critical mass for this market demand to be responded to.

However, the price fixing scam definitely sounds like a Sherman Antitrust violation. I'd like to see that looked into.

Posted by: JasonBourne81 [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 03:19 PM

Wow. This is great. So, does that mean Wal-Mart will make a custom store for me? Say I don't like potatoes. Will they hide them because I cried and begged and refused to just put up with it, like everyone else?

This is pretty ridiculous. And you thought Target was bad.

Anyways, I agree with Bourne..It is capitalism at it's finest.

Posted by: lolwut [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 03:25 PM

Debbie,
You should also investigate if employees of this Wal-Mart will also be getting higher hourly wages too. dont put it past the muslims to demand more money from the Jizya paying infidel...

Bourne said;

"This is basically Capitalism. Capitalism is good. Wal Mart is simply accommodating their target market We don't need to be angry at Wal Mart..."

Wal-Mart is NOT practicing Capitalism when they publicly state that they will not undercut their competition with other muzlum storeowners. They are practicing NOT Capitalism, but Panderism.

Capitalism IS good. So is patriotism, and the desire to maintain our culture, customs, and our way of life. Wal-Mart is just looking to make a fast buck at the expense of American culture and customs. There is NO difference between what Wal-Mart is doing to pander to these barbarians in order to fatten their bottom line and the greedy small business owners who knowingly hire illegal aliens to fatten their wallets by hiring cheap labor. They BOTH do so at the expense of our economy, our culture, our language, and our way of life. Someone, ultimately, has to foot the billl to pay for these disparirities, and too often it's the American citizen and the American taxpayer.

Shame on Wal-Mart!

Posted by: Thee_Bruno [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 04:24 PM

While I'm not sure I agree with this, pandering to the local populace is nothing new. If they sold normal stuff in a muslim neighborhood, they would lose money. so the items in of themselves do not bother me. but price fixing in order to make sure local stores do not lose business is hypocritical, and to only do it so as to not offend muslim sensibilities is offensive.

I've had it! Enough is enough! If walmart wants to do this evil thing it could be brought down in one day. There should be a national boycott by both customers and Employees. All employees from New York to California, from Florida to Washington state should have one day strike. Saying to Walmart. Now, you want to force Islamic training on your American emeployees? Then all your customers and employees should warn Walmart, You don't have to and don't even want to give overtime to your American employees. And if wasn't enough, you give homosexuals health benefits and not your normal procreating employees. And if thatisn't enough, you would not allow your Christian workers to wear crosses or say "Merry Christmas" during the Christmas season.

Now you give special favor to Muslims and force sensitivity training on your non-Muslims employees. You don't even pay your employees enough for this! Only slightly above minimum wage.

So if customers and workers protest this Islamic Jihad appeasement, then who will you have to buy your junk? Walmart, you want to stick it to America, your employees in this high treason globalist act. Then, try selling your walmart junk in the Muslim world. See how much money you make then. We can all shop somewhere else while Walmart plummets in to the economic abyss.

AMERCAN PEOPLE RISE UP!! A REVOULTION MUST BEGIN NOW!! NO MORE HIGH TREASON ANTI-JUDEO-CHRISTIAN SUPERSTORE!!! Al-WALMART CHOKE ON YOUR ON JUNK!!

Well I dont shop at Walmart. I dont believe Walmart ever shared my business ethics. This confirms it.

Posted by: caitlynn [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 06:26 PM

I wouldn't go to the web site but I would write a snail mail letter to the ceo. I would rather not give any further info to the hezbolla sympathizers than I would have to. Sometimes anonymity is your friend. Not shopping at wal-mart is huge for me because I probably shopped there twice a week. For everything. The super center not so much because of it's location and checkers being slow and purposefully so for the most part. If this story gets the appropriate exposure they will hurt. Americans are a pretty lazy lot though so don't expect it over night. I just watched channel 7 news with a very weepy segment where the La Sheesh in Pittsfield was profiled and the owners got a free 5 minutes of advertisement. Absolutely inexcusable. NO MENTION OF THE CRIMINAL CHARGES OF MONEY LAUNDERING EITHER!!!!!

Posted by: samurai [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 06:33 PM

I don't see anything wrong with the Arab food section. This is no different than WalMart having kosher sections in large Jewish communities, which they and other retailers do.

Posted by: kishke [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 07:38 PM

Of course there is nothing wrong with an Arab food section. But that was clearly not the main point of this post.

Debbie spoke about price-fixing, which is illegal, Walmart's pandering to Islamic terrorists, imams conducting focus groups, and carrying the concept of catering to the community to an extreme, to an extent far beyond what is done in Jewish communities. She also made the point that the store is not Arab-American; it is Islamic, and Walmart was selective about who they met with, no elements of the community except Muslims. The discussion in this post makes it clear that anyone who is not a Muslim would clearly feel unwelcome in this store; it is a third-world store, and because of Walmart's size and clout, will certainly encourage comparable trends in similar communities.

I'm waiting for the anti-Walmart wackos to say something about this. They seem to hate everything Walmart does, and they claim to favor the smaller businesses that are squeezed out by Walmart. They probably said something already, and I just missed it.

Posted by: c f [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 08:14 PM

Does the sensitivity training go one way, or will Muslim employees also be sensitized toward the needs of non-Muslims? Hey, preferential treatment for everyone, or preferential treatment for none. Anything less is a double standard. By the way, when will Wal-mart cater to my sensitivities by selling adult videos and DVDs?

Posted by: canorth [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 08:22 PM

Caitlynn,
"Not shopping at wal-mart is huge for me because I probably shopped there twice a week. For everything."

Well, if you are going to shop at Al-Walmart don't buy the meat. They get a great deal of their meat from China. Mostly the Chicken and Pork. Why US meats is not good enough? I don't know. They used to get their fish from China. Any way, I don't want it. I'm not sure they not still getting their fish from China. If that wasn't bad enough.

I shopped a lot from Al-Walmart too. But I had enough of their anti American globalist Greed. They treat their workers bad. They work and on low pay and don't complain. Now This? I've had it with Walmart. Al-Walamrt. If people boycott they are going have the Muslims pay the same price. Who will be left to but their junk? Walmart loves money too much.

Since Wal-Mart has been islamofied, they may as well rename Wal-Mart to Sharia-Shuk or Hallal-Mart. If bad enough most of the staff there can't utter a word of english but this cultural accomodations is being carried away over to the extreme.

No more shopping at al-Wal-Mart for me. Kiss my hard-earned cash "Good-bye," panderers. And you may also kiss something else, al-Wal-Mart . . .

Debbie, you should arrange for some Jews to apply to the store for the big class action lawsuit to follow. It should be easy money. Either way, I've always been a Target shopper.

Posted by: Anonymous1 [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 3, 2008 10:53 PM

If there were a Kosher Walmart (there is probably a Glatt Mart somewhere), the Palestinians might have to get Condi Rice to negotiate a treaty so that they get to occupy a corner of the store.

Hope they don't sell a lot of vests at the Wallmart in the article.

Never regretted since.
Oh... amd boycotted Target when it p;ayed the dhimmi: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,259374,00.html
Again, no regrets.

Not a heap big spender but I'm very close to finally getting an HD television. I'm not rich but I'll spend a little more if need be rather than getting it at the Exton, PA al-Wal-Mart. Thanks for the heads-up.

Mindy - Dearborn has a non-Muslim population of nearly 60%. We are the quiet and often blind majority. Your comment about "pandering to the local populace" is misguided but, considering "the people" refuse to talk for themselves, understandable.
If I attempt to purchase a bottle of wine at the nearest CVS store, I am delayed several minutes while the hijab wearing clerk leaves the register in search of a kafir willing to take care of this maharrum transaction.

I find the pictures and captions pretty funny. Thanks for making me laugh because really they dont make any sense. I know everyone hates me by now on this blog and I get my daily laughs and daily "Omgosh does people really think like this" attitude and such. I love to educate people. I think knowledge is the most wonderful thing. However, many of us today turn to the media of course for our daily dose of knowledge or blogs like these. Well knowledge on here is no better than a grain of salt, its really mostly lies. I dont agree with Walmart selling this meat because Michigan economy today is bad enough, do we need to put these business out? No of course not and theres plenty of meat markets if not should be more in Michigan today. Halal meat is one of the cleanist if not the cleanist meat in the world. However, today non halal meat, animals are being slaughtered in the most cruelist way and it disgusts me. I been to a halal slaughter house and a non halal ones in my days. Theres bigger differences. As for Kosher it is killed the same way as Halal meat which is great also, but there our differences. The problem I want to turn back to is the American Media is very biased. Many people wouldnt think or believe me but I want to put that out there that many people in the Gaza strip our leading peacefully protests like a human wall to stand for justice that the American Public should know about this. Search it on google for yourself versus Hamas rocket fire, what you get more. I lead you to seek that knowledge. Gaza is not only a Muslim or Arab issue anymore. This is a HUMANTIARIAN issue. People are dying here. We are starving people, taking away from there homes and so much more. Do you ever even put yourself in there shoes and see how they feel. How about if that was your mum getting shot by a stray bullet for walking across the street, or your new baby girl that you waited nine months for dies on your hands? How would you feel? Do you ever realize those are mothers, fathers, brothers, cousins, sisters, aunts and uncles dying. Everyone has feelings, yes Muslims do too would you believe that??? We are human beings and I would like to add also Christian Palestians are dying too? Do you even know that there was Christians living in Palestine??? Look it up for yourself. I call for peace in Gaza, I call for action, put aside the religion card and see how you feel when a loved one dies in your family. Think about this I urge you too, we need to call for Peace. Thank you

"Disgusting. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT WALMART AGAIN! "

Ah, so pandering to a religious group you despise will make them lose your business, but their slavery, both domestic and foreign, and incredibly harmful business practices to their employees and the employees in China who make much of their goods and their mass pollution and their destruction of the American economy and small towns and small businesses weren't enough to stop you? Interesting that Wal-mart destroying the nation and the world didn't stop you from supporting them, but their catering to a niche market does.

As for the price fixing - I doubt that'll last very long. Probably just long enough to attract people and provide good propaganda/PR and then that'll be the end of that.

Posted by: Soul Cancer [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 5, 2008 02:32 PM

I don't know Muslim Man, the US has just pledged another $148 million(this after the billions already given) to Gaza refugees but your Muslim brethren specifically Hamas instead use the money to buy guns and bombs to kill Muslims, Jews and Christians.

Yes indeed, there are Christians in Palestine yet your Muslim brothers in the Hamashood are killing them off one by one, remember your Hamas brothers believe Chirstians and Jews are dirty pigs unlike your clean halal. Perhaps you might wish to examine your arrogant ways?

Perhaps if you condemned and disavowed your Muslim brothers in Hamas there would be no humanitarian crisis in Palestine?

Posted by: syn [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 6, 2008 08:36 AM

Hamas was a government that was elected by the people of Palestine. The USA had nothing to do with the elections in Palestine but as soon as Hamas won the vote the US condemn the people that were voted in, that it should be the Fatah party. Now Palestine was doing is "democratic" duty just like the USA wants the rest of the world to do and we condemn it. Hmmm... so they don't approve an election because they didn't like the outcome so we supply the other party with guns and other firearms to kill the government off? Thats sounds pretty stupid because we don't need to approve elections, and that is not our country. Besides did I mention about Hamas in my original post no, I did not, I mentioned the Israeli state was killing innocent women and children and this was a Humilitarian issue not a Muslim issue but this is human rights. Also where do you find your sources saying " Hamas hates Christians and Jews so they kill them off" where did you find this at, I would find it interesting to know your source. Since you probably never lived in Palestine or lived in the Middle East and I am assuming here you just know the whats going on through the media and this blog which gives so much false information anyways. Debbie Is very anti Arab and Muslim and its pretty biased to believe news from her.
