Revenge of the Cross-Dresser

So, what were they saying about transvestitism and transsexualism not being mental illnesses?:

A man in a flowery blouse and makeup deliberately slammed his vehicle into a lingerie shop because they wouldn't give him a job, police said.

Jeremy Paul McIntosh, 27, who calls himself a cross-dresser and often wears women's clothing, is in the Oakland County Jail and facing charges. He had applied for a job at the Intimate Ideas shop on Union Lake Road in January and became upset when he wasn't hired, according to a police report of the incident.

Jeremy Paul McIntosh: Would You Buy Lingerie From Him?
Police say McIntosh showed up at the store about 9 p.m. Saturday and told a female employee he was going to run his Geo Tracker into the store because the company refused to hire him. Shortly after he left, the employee heard a vehicle hit the building seven times, causing merchandise to fall off of shelves and doing about $3,000 in damage.

"When the employee went outside to see what happened, (McIntosh) told her his Tracker was totaled but the building was really tough," said Undersheriff Michael McCabe.

McIntosh, who was wearing women's makeup, blue capri pants, red flip-flops and a flowery blouse, and a matching bra, told deputies he was homeless and wanted a job.

"He said he was homeless and was sick of freezing in his car at night," McCabe said.

McIntosh was checked for injuries by the Commerce Fire Department but refused medical treatment and was taken into custody.

Not only does this guy need psychiatric help, but so do so many others like him who cross-dress and/or get sex "re-assignment" surgery. If only gay and lesbian rights groups stopped saying this isn't a mental issue.

This guy is Exhibit A that it is.

On the other hand, maybe they should have hired him--it would open up a whole new "market" of customers in a rough Michigan economy.

That is sooooo Creepy!! I would definitely Not want this weird guy working wear I shop!

This story reinforces the fact that stores definitely have the right to say who they want working for them without excessive government interferance from the equal opportunity people. If the store is trying to uphold an image of fashion or beauty they have a right to employee who they think meets their standards. For example, stores like Victorias Secret and such need to emplyee women who can best market and sell their products. And they need to have employees who make the customers comfortable. Just the way restaurants like Hooters need to pick employees that match their corporate image and meet their customers expectations.

What really creeps me out is I live less than a mile from that store.

Of course, don't tell any gay people that their homosexual tendencies may be manifestations of psychic disturbances. This just means that we are bigots. Of course, after the whole global warming health, this falls right into place. The hoax about gay people, transvestites or transexuals -- I can't keep up with all of this -- being completely normal & that society is responsible for all of their woes is just one more example of rationalization, that these people have no responsibility for their oddities.

In this politically correct world, it can as easily be a mental disorder when it suits the purposes... have a transexual up on murder charges and you'll see an array of PET scans that will choke a horse. Deny one access to a job where they would obviously look like a freak, scaring the customers and you have a civil rights violations becuase they're "just like everyone else".... give me a break and call the shots even handedly down the line, just pick one line to follow please??!!

I'm gay and I'm telling you that because I this this trans stuff is BS and is being pushed on us by the same people that push other leftist agendas. This was not an issue that was discussed or debated in the community, just suddenly, over the course of a few years, trans-- were in.

I think these people need mental help and not surgery. I also think there is major medical malpractice going on.

This is the question I pose to pro-trans people now: if someone thinks of themselves as being an amputee even though they're not, do you amputate a healthy limb(s)? People want to do this too, but so far, it's not been generally accepted. But I'm afraid it's only a matter of time.

Hi there,
As a crossdresser I'm appalled by Jeremy's actions. He destroyed property and endangered people's lives - all because he felt wronged when they didn't accept his job application. It look as though they judged his character well by refusing him employment.

I'm am disappointed at how badly this will reflect on the transgender community. Most of us are regular hard working folks, and the actions of a few disturbed folks cause society to look on us with caution. I've posted some more thoughts here: http://www.crossdresserheaven.com/2008/04/cross-dresser-w.html

I ask that you don't judge us all by the actions of one man, and that you remain open to making a determination based on our character.

Hugs,
Vanessa
