Would You Like a Koran With That Cancer Treatment?
My friends, KGS of Tundra Tabloids and "D," noticed that the first Muslim free medical clinic just opened in Ohio, with CAIR's man, Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison, at the tiny grand opening. Why would a Congressman from Minnesota go to another state to honor the opening of the Muslim Clinic of Ohio, a small medical clinic?
Well, maybe, because it's the latest step in a grand scheme to offer free healthcare to the needy . . . and then impress upon them the virtues of a certain religion held by all of the doctors and financiers of this clinic. Actually, not maybe. For certain. It's the latest way to entice new converts into Islam. They help you get better and then show you "the way" to get "completely better." A similar clinic was started here in Michigan (though it didn't fare well):
At least 15 Muslim primary care physicians are signed up and credentialed to work at The Muslim Clinic of Ohio, Dr. Ramzieh Azmeh, the co-founder of the clinic, told the Dayton Daily News.Azmeh, a board certified internist and pediatrician, added that another 50 specialists are also ready to contribute.
America's first Muslim congressman, Keith Ellison, was present at the clinic's grand opening on Sunday morning. Ellison, a Minnesota Democrat, famously used a Quran once owned by Thomas Jefferson at his swearing-in.
The clinic is the brainchild of the Dayton Mercy Society, a Muslim group that promotes community service and Islamic values.
"Our goal is to engage the Muslim community in outreach work and let people know that Muslims are part of this community," Dr. Alkhawaga, who sits on the board of the society, told the Dayton Daily News.
Sure it is. My friend, "D," an Arab-American non-Muslim who saw this, writes:
Another way to be loved by Americans, hence infiltrating, recruiting and using them for their cause. Hezbollah/Palestinian style.
Exactly.
The question is: Is this clinic completely "free," or are American taxpayers helping to foot the bill through Medicaid and Medicare reimbursements? If the latter is the case--which is likely--there are possible church/state issues here? Oops, I forgot--there is no mosque/state separation. It only applies to every single other religion.
The other issue is this: If the clinic does get federal funding, who will monitor what goes on there? Answer: No-one. Medical privacy laws, like HIPAA, shield any meaningful form of investigation. And, aside from that, the feds look the other way when it comes to Islam, anyhow. Don't expect that to change here.
Another issue: Can you, an infidel, trust that you'll get proper medical care from a Muslim doctor . . . especially if you refuse to convert? Don't bet on it. As I've noted, there have been many cases of Muslim doctors in America maltreating non-Muslim patients. The story of Joseph Applebaum's murder at the hands of Dr. Osama Ahmed Ibrahim is a primer in that.

It figures that the founder would be a pediatrician. Do they have lots of obstetricians too? Just another way we are financing our enemies.

This is no big deal. Lots of medical facities in the U.S. have their origins with religious groups. For example, Baylor University Medical center had its start as Texas Baptist Memorial Sanitarium. It was founded with support from the Baptist church and Baptist General Convention of Texas. (this is where the Bush W. twins were born)

On the other hand, every cloud has a silver lining. At least if the Muslim doctors are there at that clinic, they won't be seeing non-Muslim patients during that time -- less damage to the rest of us.

Here's an intersting tidbit from the ISPU March 2006 newsletter:
