Meet ABC News' Newest Reporter, Ben Affleck: Fan of Chomsky, Hater of America; Gives Oprah Mag his Anti-U.S. Book List
What do you do when you're a fat, washed up actor who could never act, is tired of waxing your back, and now can't attract movie-goers? Oh, and you can no longer attract media attention as Mr. J-Lo a/k/a Ben-Lo?
Well, if you're Ben Affleck, you become a reporter for ABC News. Affleck has been hired by the network news division to shoot a "documentary" (sounds like Michael Moore, only not as fat . . . yet) for "Nightline," the ABC's latenight news show. Yup, sadly, I had to "read" the July 14, 2008 issue of Us Magazine to learn this. See the caption on the pic, below.
I'm not sure if this--a left-wing movie star now serving up the news--should be a source of irritation because Affleck's far-left, airheaded views are really no different from those of most other network TV news reporters. His are just out there for us to see.
Meanwhile, the arrogant Affleck tells the August issue of Oprah's "O" Magazine that among his five fave books--the ones he says "made a difference" in his life--is far-left Noam Chomsky's "Manufacturing Consent." What a coinky-dink: Affleck and tyrant Hugo Chavez (and airhead swimsuit model, Elle MacPherson) are fans of the same hate-America author. Says Comrade Ben:
I'm grateful to the book for introducing me to Chomsky, a political analyst [with] startling briliance. . . . Chomsky is a writer I believe everyone should read.
Red Ben also notes something he's noted before--on Oprah's daytime talk show--that he's also in love with Howard Zinn and his "A People's History of the United States," a far left, hate-America, revisionist "history" of America that is sadly a textbook in many U.S. classrooms.
In the rest of new ABC News reporter Affleck's choices, Jihad Ben--who tells us he majored in Middle Eastern studies in college, but doesn't tell us that he dropped out of college after barely a year of attending--attacks American foreign policy in the Mid-East. Methinks there's not much about the U.S. that Ben Affleck likes, except the green America's strangely stuffed in his bank account and the freedom of speech that allows him to put forth his incredible arrogance and hatred for this country.
Please, Ben, go back to making great movies like "Gigli."

Are ANY Hollyweird types out there who actually like this country???? Reminds me of all the crap Angelina yaks about when she says Americans don't give enough to charity. They should get the facts first, but then, if they were smart, they probably wouldn't have to spend most of their life being unemployed actors!

Hollywood critters like Ben Affleck, etc, are reasons why I quit going to the movies. I can't remember when we last went, But I refuse to contribute a nickle to leftist, hate America a$$holes. Plus, I won't rent their videos either.

On the whole, I don't see many Hollywood types who are all that bright or educated. But they just can't resist posing as pseudo-intellectuals. What do they put in the water in California that seems to take away any ability of the residents to have common sense and use logic and objective reasoning? As Savage says, liberalism is a mental disorder. And I agree wholeheartedly with Jackson Pearson, don't give them your money for the trash that comes out of Hollywood studios.

I swear that hollywood types act out against the USA because they hate themselves and feel guilty about their success. None of them see happy (that act like this) whenever you see them on camera and they are being asked a question. Even on a supposedly happy day where they get pics taken on some red carpet, their eyes lie..they look empty even though their lips are pursed up in a smile. And we won't even talk about the women who get botox like crazy that they can't even make a facial expression.
ben can't act if his life depended on it. It really is this fake acting that exists in hollywood now that I really don't like to spend money on this unentertainment unless people like Debbie review them and say they are worth it.

Why would ABC or anyone want to get involved with someone so irrelevant. I guess they must be listining to the advice of Kevin Smith and Jayson Mewes AKA "Jay" and "Silent Bob". Just shout Gigli three times at him, and maybe he will disappear.

Affleck wears a rug in many of his films to hide his receding hairline (not that there's anything wrong with balding). Affleck also dated pseudo Brit Gwyenth Paltrow.
His boyfriend Matt Damon's character in the laborious "Good Will Hunting" also expressed admiration for Chomsky. Howard Zinn's 'book' is not even footnoted.

When I hear Chompsky I get the creeps.
When I hear (or see) Affleck I switch off.

Whites hate their own culture so much, they are now crazy. That goes for Chomsky, Ben Affleck, 99% of the media, and 80% of the Sheeple. They don't make any sense, they just hate their own people and everything their people ever accomplished. It's frightening. Whites are going insane.

The funniest part is these people have never fully read the writings of Marx, if they did they would know that they are not safe. Marx hated people like them but found them useful to gain power. Part of he hopes they get their way and America becomes Communist only to watch them loose everything, and should they try to pull a Paltrow and move then everything they had here would get confiscated. It's ok though because to them everything American Sucks except for the money.

Ben Affleck is such a joke and he needs to give up the day job because he is a complete failure as an actor. He has perfected one occupation though...riding his wives dress tails and that includes past and present.
