Red Smurf Aerodynamic Burqa Meets the Olympics

Printer Friendly

By Debbie Schlussel

You've heard of the burqini--the smurf-esque, unsexy Muslim women's bathing suit. Now, check out the Olympic aerodynamic burqa/Red Smurf costume spotted by Mark L. Jackson of Mark's Soap Box. Technically, this is not a burqa, since we can see her face (it's a "hijab"), but you get the point. If it did cover her face it would look a lot like the headgear worn by some of her fellow co-religionists at the Munich Olympics. Frankly, she already resembles them (I've posted the comparison pics, below).

Mark has all the details on who this woman (at least, we think it's a woman but only a DNA test knows for sure) is and what she's doing at the Olympics.

I seriously dont see anything wrong with that type of outfit. Why not focus on something positive about the Olympics...such as this?

No DS, he's an American, therefore we should honor him for his remarkable achievement and the pride he has in his background. No shame there what-so-ever.

*lol* Guess who designed this suit. Guess. Yep, Ahiida. The very same company that brought us the fashion forward Burquini! Good on ya mate!

What's the point of wearing the head-thingey for modesty if you're going to wear skin-tight pants? This is about muslim dominance, not religious modesty.

"lolwut", you dupe. All it takes is an American flag for you to believe that that mexican is not part of a total invasion of the US? Boy, you're naive. First, he's AINO (American In Name Only), second, his mother has seven children, which WE are paying for, and they will have 5 or 6 or 7 kids, too, third, as soon as there are enough of them, all pretense of Americanism will go out the window and they will declare for Mexico. They already have. I see it EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Ok, I have to admit, I don't get the whole "Oh my God, actual Muslims in the wild! Run!" attitude. So this woman wore a headcover during a race. So? What is your point? Oh thats right, because she is covering her head and people that comitted atrocities a decade before she was born covered their faces as well. For completely different reasons, but hey, who really cares.

This is silly fear pandering, fear of anything different. If Muslims in America were trying to force non Muslims to wear head scarfs, that would be a problem. But I don't care what people wear on their head, be it a hat, a covering or a yarmulke. I also don't care why they wear it.

But then again, you can celebrate, she didn't make it out of the Semifinals. I think that means we won the war or something. Or Islam is collapsing.

Your posts shows how uneducated you are, GSPM.

You should care.

I should care what a person from a country half way across the world chooses for a hat?

Posted by: TheHonorableMemberFromGSPM [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 21, 2008 08:28 AM

You should care why, not what.

GSMP;

Muslim women wear head-coverings because their "men" demand it. If a woman is uncovered, Muslim men get to blame the woman for tempting them, as opposed to taking responsibility for their own male desires.

According to sharia law, a Muslim woman has half the value of a Muslim man.

When Muslim women wear head-coverings, it is a symbol of obedience to their male masters that they are slaves.
