Religion of Marriage Fraud: U.S. Attorney, ICE Agent in Charge Look the Other Way on Immigration Fraud

Thousands and thousands of Muslims have been engaging in marriage fraud by entering sham marriages with equally abhorrent, sleazy American women in order to get green cards.
Some are caught. Even fewer are prosecuted. But mostly Immigration and Customs Enforcement honchos have directed agents to look the other way and concentrate on other issues, instead. Don’t look for that to change under the Z-Visa Bonanza of instant citizenship under the immigration amnesty bill. In fact, those who hold Z-Visa will now have their own opportunities to whore themselves out to sham marriages for more instant citizenships.

ICE SAIC Brian Moskowitz, U.S. Atty Stephen Murphy

Pal Around w/Marriage Fraud Scammer Imad Hamad

The few exceptions are cases like that of Lebanese Muslim Ali Fouad Ayache, 25. He pleaded guilty in federal court in Detroit, yesterday, to marriage fraud, entering into a bogus marriage with U.S. citizen Kristy Ann Dugray (did anything happen to her for selling out America?). But the marriage was on November 22, 2002. That was almost five years ago, and he is only now facing justice.
Ayache’s case is one of the few piddling marriage fraud cases that Michigan/Ohio ICE Special Agent in Charge and have pursued. And I supposed they want a Mazel Tov (“Congratulations”) from me for actually doing their job once in a while, like a broken clock. Instead, they’ve both turned down and/or neglected serious marriage fraud cases in Michigan and looked the other way.
In addition, it’s hard to take either of them seriously, especially Abu Porno/Murphy, when he says, as he did in today’s Detroit Newsistan:

The notion that someone who commits fraud to get citizenship papers or a green card can then rest easy once the documents are issued is a false assumption.

Given the way both Murphy and Moskowitz continue to pander to and pal around with Sham Marriage Perpetrator and “former” Islamic terrorist, , I’d say it’s not a false assumption at all.
Mr. Hamad is quite comfortable as a citizen, now. And both Moskowitz and Murphy have had a few years now to charge him with marriage fraud and try to rescind his citizenship. They’re the only ones with authority to do so.
Instead, they’ve chosen to kiss his ass.
Make fun of the dresses he allegedly wore all you want, but you never saw J. Edgar Hoover playing pander bear to Al Capone.
And then there’s Ayache. He should have faced five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. But because Abu Porno/Stephen Murphy makes nice-nice with Islamists, terrorists, and assorted other Midwest malefactors from the Mid-East, he gave Ayache a plea deal where he only faces up to six months. Again, I’d say Murphy’s claim that resting easy after marriage fraud is a false assumption is in and of itself a false assumption . . . the the top Justice Department official is Stephen Murphy III/Abu Porno. And don’t forget Abu Porno is a Bush Federal Court of Appeals nominee. Some “War on Terror.” More like an insect urinating on a sidewalk.
Even worse, Ayache is to be sentenced on July 10th by Federal Judge George Caram Steeh, a judge who is quite militant about his Lebanese background. He has a history of being soft on Arab and Muslim defendants, including Ali and Mike Boumelhem, who were caught by then-U.S. Customs Service agents trying to smuggle arms to Canada and then Hezbollah.
Don’t look for the good fortune of the Mohammedans to change, this time around.

This is a good article. It is true that many people try to stay here through marriage. Some also do that as the H1B way is a lot longer. I have friends (some being jewish) who married to stay here. The thing is, they were here for A LONG TIME through other immigrating processes, and it was taking too long.
I still do think that it is a sleezy way to come in. The American spouses who are caught get into BIG trouble. I know there is a fine involved and jail time, but it is more discrete. Worst of all, the American has a harsher sentence, while the foreign offender is simply deported.

Soldiers who married foreign nationals during WWII and Korea were treated so poorly that Congress had to reform the whole system in 1952. One Hispanic Serviceman gave his Navy Cross, the second highest decoration awarded, back after they through his Japanese wife in jail when they returned from a shopping trip in Tijuana (this was after WWII). The FBI only recently returned the medal to his family. Marriage Fraud plugs up the system to the extent that U.S. citizens are traumatized and separated for long periods of time because the system is so overloaded and strict trying to deal with it. The INS through my friends wife and two kids into a holding tank and removed them to Europe. He had to take four months off of work to go get her paperwork straightened out (he had filled a box out incorrectly on the visa application). Markccu, you think this is harmless, but it is not. The Chinese smugglers move their human cargo and spies this way, duping lonely U.S. men, filing false charges of spousal abuse or abandoning them once they are here. Women are harassed at gas stations by Muslim men offering them cash to marry them. Opportunist Americans are marrying sometimes a dozen foreign nationals at a time for money. This problem is compounded by the fact that the U.S. can’t even make up its mind what a marriage is exactly. Some what to make same sex marriages legal. Congress does not require a consumated marriage for visa purposes, you don’t have to even live together,
when your caught your sleezy lawyer appeals, the calendars are so clogged with this your court dates are set in years not months.
The U.S. Attorneys hate these cases because they are very difficult to win, the public (jurors) hearts are just not into it. Convicted felons love marriage fraud, it’s a low risk well paying crime. Here’s the kicker, if you stay under six marriages for cash and have no criminal record, your not going to jail. If you stay under 100 arranged marriages for fees of 30,000 to 75,000 USD you won’t do much time either and stash your money in China where they won’t cooperate with these investigations. One third of all weddings in Los Angeles (Source: LA TImes) are performed at this shitty little chapel on Broadway downtown, what does that tell you? In Los Angeles the first fraudulent marriage, provided you are not a terrorist, is on the house, the US Attorney won’t take it. Every single country in the world abuses this part of the law and it is such a small leap to the next fraudulent scheme, Medicare and Welfare fraud which is where many of this criminals move next. Smuggle yourself over here from the Philippines by marrying an old fool, divorce him, bring your first husband which you never divorced in the Philippines over, apply for SSI and receive $1100 month without ever paying into the system. Hey, bring on the next Amnesty baby, we need millions more immigration law violators for marriage fraud, they did it once what’s a little marriage fraud as a follow-up? Good morale character resets itself every five years, get caught, don’t worry about it.

Oh, and by the way, don’t try to fill out the visa application yourself for your legitimate wife, you will have to hire a lawyer because you simply don’t have the experience that a marriage fraud facilitator has in this area. After all, the crooks have done it thousands of times.
If you go missing in Iraq, you and your wife are screwed because Ali Baba is taking hundreds of gov’t man hours with his application while he is really screwing his camel. You application will simply have to wait whilst he and the forty thieves get processed.

Really? Where did you get that information? I’d be interested in reading the statistics on this. Could you please point me toward the source?

In South Carolina(where I am located), Hurricane Hugo had passed through and destroyed this place in the 90’s. People lost all their belongings. Most (if not all of the beachwear stores here are owned by jews (including some owned by my in-laws). Many of them frauded the insurance companies by claiming more than they had..usually three times. It is not just the beachwear owners that did this, but a lot of motel owners and the other business owners did that too. My point is, it isnt just the jews that do wrong, but a lot of races. And you are right that muslims and others do it in higher proportions (though I have no base or proof on saying that..it is just an assumption).
As for the Americans who are caught for marriage fraud. I have heard of the warnings, but I never knew of anyone getting caught, so you might be right.

markccu, I don’t even know what to say, man. This is just absurd:
“And you are right that muslims and others do it in higher proportions (though I have no base or proof on saying that..it is just an assumption).”
You’re aware, I hope, that your admission that you don’t have any idea what you’re talking about neatly cancels out your previous assertion that the statistic is true.

I live in South Texas. Most illegals that I’ve met have just walked or swam here. I’ve lived here for more than 20 years, and never heard of any hispanics marrying to stay here. They just dodge immigration, and if they get caught, they’re deported, and back two days later.
Through that same time period, I have personally met and witnessed 3 women get paid to marry 3 muslims from Jordan.

CaptShady on June 24, 2007 at 1:41 am

Doc Washboard..I am glad you got my point. This blog usually has baseless statements, and I was playing onto that.
CaptShady, I never knew that, but it does sound believeable. The hispanics just usually dodge immigration. It is easier..there are so many of them.
I would believe that Arabs (and other nationalities from Europe and Asia) do marry people (for a substantial monetary amount as much as $60,000) to stay here.

OTMs (Other than Mexicans) have more to lose, it is much harder to swim back from China or Upper Pakistan (England).

Two thoughts.
Prosecution seems not to be the goal. Finding stoogies who will fabricate stories that support intended unspoken goals and spy on the Muslim community likely are the real goals.
Secondly, It is against Islamic law to immigrate to a non-Muslim land. So the “Muslims” you get in this country are the worst of the worst possible representatives of Islam and the least likely to become productive citizens to the US. Sure, they vote and are educated – but they are paracites on the system with no real loyalty. We are taliking about immigrant so-called “Muslims” not a race, people or religion. There is no bias or hatred here – just a fact of life.
