Our Hot Guy v. The Ghost of Their Fat Dude: Desperate Mass. Libs Dumb Attack on Scott Brown

By Debbie Schlussel

Now that Club Ted a/k/a Ted Kennedy is dead, I thought I’d never have to drag out the typically bloated picture of him, proudly displaying his man-boobs, er . . . “heavage,” ever again.  But I thought wrong.

The Female Version of Him . . .

Ghost of Bloated Ted Kennedy a/k/a Martha Coakley

. . . Versus Him . . .

Scott Brown in 1982:  I Know Who I’d Vote For

You can tell how desperate liberal Democrats are by the low-class tactics they perpetrate and the emptiness of those attacks.  How desperate are Democrats in the race for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat from Massachusetts?  Pretty desperate.  Conservative Republican Scott Brown looks like he may beat liberal Democrat candidate Martha Coakley, and they’ll do anything to stop it, no matter how low.

With the help of ABC News (watch the video) and other liberal mainstream media news outlets, liberals dug up an old centerfold of a nearly-nude Brown when he was 22-years-old, posing in Cosmopolitan magazine.  He did the photo shoot when he won Cosmo’s “America’s Sexiest Man” contest.  It’s really not news, since the photos were already posted by Ana Marie Cox a few years ago on her Wonkette site.

And it’s really not a big deal either, since it happened years ago, and the guy is an accomplished, down-the-line conservative.  Plus, it’s not like he showed anything, and it’s not like it’s playgirl.  But you know why they’re doing this.  They have nothing, no substantive points to make against him, so instead they’re trying to paint the guy like he’s some kind of low-class Chippendale’s dancer from almost three decades ago.  It’s ridiculous.

And I don’t get it.  This guy only posed for a picture when he was very young and got an award.  Those calling him out for that are from a  party that celebrates a President who got Lewinskys in the Oval Office.  Yet, conservatives are supposed to be upset because they have a hot guy who still looks like a movie star AND has the ideological and career chops to make him the best candidate for the job.  Whatever.

Don’t forget, this is the party, whose most idealized President (pre-Obama) was a philandering Kennedy, who slept with Soviet, Mafia, and Cuban spies, and who got elected by women on the basis of his looks.

And it’s like we can’t win for losing.  Conservatives and Republicans are always painted as unhip and stodgy.  In Brown, we’ve got a smart, competent guy who’s also smokin’ hot, and we’re not allowed to have that either.

Bottom line:  Our hot conservative guy versus the ghost of their bloated man-boobed uber-liberal guy and the equally far-left chick who wants to take his place?  I know whom I’d be voting for.  And it doesn’t hurt that he’s almost as easy on the female eyes today as he was 28 years ago.

Who says liberals have the monopoly on “sexy”? And since when is not having man-boobs a bad thing?

Scott Brown’s sole crime he was good looking in his twenties? He wasn’t a Chippendale dancer in the 1980s and the Democrats haven’t been able to find a substantiative reason for the voters to reject him. They’re running scared of a guy who can block the Obama agenda this year. We can only hope Massachusetts will reject higher taxes, more spending and Big Government mandates next week.

Elect Scott Brown to the people’s seat in the US Senate!

NormanF on January 14, 2010 at 3:59 pm

Massachussetts should try someone who is not a bloated drunk for a change.

    sorrow01 on January 14, 2010 at 4:04 pm

I guess Martha Coakley does not really have much to run on, if she thinks she has to do this.

She is pretty much a party hack: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martha_Coakley#Controversies

sorrow01 on January 14, 2010 at 4:00 pm

The deperation from Coakley and the Dem spinsters is a major turnoff. Then you throw up a side by side pix of Ted and Martha… thank goodness she wasn’t topless! I assume you’re taking editoral liberties by referring to Martha as a “chick”.. barf..

All seriousness.. Scott Brown has not waivered from the issues and his beliefs, he’s solid (no pun), and gets my vote.

Mark on January 14, 2010 at 4:02 pm

Coakley could scare a starving dog off of a meat wagon!!

Doug on January 14, 2010 at 4:33 pm

The best looking people are not necessarily the best candidates for public service. They have no idea what the world is really like.

The Terrorist's Advocate on January 14, 2010 at 4:33 pm

What real experience did Teddy Kennedy have? His daddy Joe “got” him the seat in 1962, and he held it until he died decades later. He failed at everything else he tried to do, including his run for the Presidency in 1980.

    sorrow01 on January 14, 2010 at 5:39 pm

He’s been a state senator, served for years as a Lt. Col. in the National Guard, solid family man without exception, no pretentions such as limo’s, campaign bus, etc. ( he drives across the state campaigning in a relatively old pickup truck) and the biggest offense he has as far as the left goes, is that he makes sense when he talks regarding all those things that liberals dearly love, live Other People’s Money, taxation, real security against terror attacks, and the stupidity of granting rights to crotch bombers and illegal immigrants. They have a LOT to fear in this guy, and as far as I’m concerned I’d surely rather look at a pic of him (then or now) compared to either Kennedy or Coakley.

    Mistress_Dee on January 15, 2010 at 2:43 am

I agree, looks aren’t everything. Barack Obama and Sarah Palin are living evidence of the fact in our telegenic age, you don’t have to necessarily think to get ahead.

NormanF on January 14, 2010 at 4:42 pm

hahaha…in that state, publishing this picture may actually win the guy the senate seat.

Ed H on January 14, 2010 at 4:44 pm

I saw the Chippendale’s in the 80’s. Just think I may have slipped him a buck or two!

Money well invested I would say…

He sure would get my vote.

Pat on January 14, 2010 at 4:58 pm

Too bad Martha Coakley wasn’t hot even in her twenties, she’s worse now. This campaign will turn around and bite the Dem’s in the rear. Most women will look at these photos of Scott and slurp the screen. So who will they pull the lever for? This is how Barack and Bill got elected.
Hell even I would vote for the guy, he reminds me of me when I was that age.

Sic Semper Tyrannus on January 14, 2010 at 5:39 pm

Michael J. Fox takes second place in the first annual Martha Coakley look alike contest!

The Big Cow on January 14, 2010 at 5:59 pm

Since those of us that live in Michigan cannot do much about stab-me-now and leavin, I contributed to his campaign based upon his response “this is not Kennedy’s seat, this is not a democrat seat, this is the people’s seat. CLASSIC!

Road Warrior on January 14, 2010 at 6:09 pm

The election isn’t quite as close as the polls suggest; you have to give the Democrats two or three points for the fraud factor, ACORN, et al. Coakley really does look and act like a witch. I think virtually every conservative recognizes the importance of this election, and no one will be deterred by these pictures.

Little Al on January 14, 2010 at 6:12 pm

So it’s okay to ask Bill Clinton what kind of underwear he wears on MTV, get blowjobs from Monica and he’s concidered sexy and perfect for the job as president?
Obama was paraded around on every magazine cover, and still is and is hyped as the sexy “with it, hip” president including shots of him shirtless all to garner the women sex vote.
Now a conservative with an impecable record is defaced and scandalized because he’s sexy and posed in Cosmo 28 years ago…..The DemoCRAPS are just that…CRAP.
F them and their double standard of BULL_HIT. They love to play it both ways, condemn one and look the other way when its one of their own.
All Conservatives are RACISTS, but when it’s Harry F-ing REID that actually made a RACIST comment about the ONE, it’s nothing to see here….I hope Mr. Cosmo Brown wins by a landslide, and I hope his Cosmo picture is what puts him over the TOP.

Martha knows time is fast running out, Her best act is the defiant pout, If Acorn no-shows it will be a rout, Now let’s fry the libs like a trout!

Coup Coup Clock on January 14, 2010 at 6:56 pm

Scott Brown, I liked you in Cosmo82 and I like you today 2010.

Darlene on January 14, 2010 at 7:04 pm

I have no love for Kennedy or Coakly but I’d say this finishes Brown. There is no way he turns this around. Think about it, if they are releasing this a week before the election it means there is more to come each day until then. The conservatives and Evangelicals will stay home in droves.

Greg on January 14, 2010 at 7:05 pm

    Rofl. You are too funny.

    Worry01 on January 14, 2010 at 7:33 pm

Greg, they are trying to find dirt but they have nothing to say to rebut his views. If they could have done that already, they would have made it clear. We’ll see if the Democrats’ opposition research turns up something damaging.

NormanF on January 14, 2010 at 7:59 pm

Debbie I really think you wrong about this. You mention Kennedy’s man-boobs and you think that is fair game. However, you are upset that libs are bringing out his prior appearance in Cosmo? Then you call him smoking hot? Now I remember a little over a year ago when the MSM was worked up about Obama and them barracuda from Alaska appeared. The GOP men got worked up as well. Well I know you aren’t shallow at all to vote for someone based on their looks. However if you bring up Teddy’s appearance then it is fair game for the other side to bring up his appearance.
For the record I would vote for Brown. But ya gotta have an ego as a man to open up your family’s jewels to the world.

CS: I would never vote for someone based on looks. I base my vote on candidates’ positions on the issues and their qualifications. But since the libs and Dems brought out this centerfold, I think it’s appropriate to say, that 1) it’s no big deal and he actually looks very hot in it; and 2) that if they want to bring out pictures, two can play at that game. That is the point of this post–that I don’t think looks are the important part, but since they are focusing on a centerfold from 28 years ago and making looks part of the issue, I’m pointing out that he beats them in that arena, too. I would vote for Brown, but yes, I agree that good-looking people often are narcissistic. Still it seems like he’s a good guy, and he has the right positions on the issues, as well as the experience. DS

CaliforniaScreaming on January 14, 2010 at 8:00 pm

Libs Lionize the old drunk as a “saint” but many of us knowledgeable people know that Ted Kennedy caused the death of a young girl while he was drunk at the wheel, he fled the scene, not even reporting the accident til the next day, leaving the poor girl in the cold murky water, and his families power allowed him to elude justice. He was kicked out of University for cheating. The mere fact that the nepotistic Kennedy political machine, could’nt be called what it is.. monarchistic. A loathsome fat inebriate like ‘Ded’ Kennedy is indicative of many of the Senators in Dem camp. What a about that Sen. Bird. gimme a break.. the guy wears diapers and was a KKK member.. anyway..luck to Brown..he’s gonna need it.

will on January 14, 2010 at 9:16 pm

“Well, with all due respect, it’s not the Kennedys’ seat, and it’s not the Democrats’ seat, it’s the people’s seat.”
…Very well said Mr. Brown! Perfect!

So far the best that Martha Coakley’s campain has on him is that “he’s a Republican”….. Ooooooooo….Gasp…OMG!!!
…followed by the same old typical BS lines like: “failed George Bush policies”…”anti healthcare reform”….”tax cuts for the rich”…”his stance on abortion and (the real killer here) climate change”!
Hey Coakley, cut the bull and get to the real issues. Yeah, like that’s gonna happen…
Of course the union goons are all behind Martha, so Scott does have a fight to put up, but, Debbie’s not the only woman behind Brown. Just do a Google search and see for yourselves. Scott, you lucky stud!

Just for the record, judging from the picture, I looked way better than him at that age.

Um, yeah, I was talking about Ted… 🙂

theShadow on January 14, 2010 at 10:48 pm

Let’s hope this backfires and bites Coakley in her you-know-what.

Go Scott Brown!

verbatim on January 15, 2010 at 2:35 am

Typical for the Dems to do their best to dig up anything on Brown that might slow him down. What’s still surprising to me is how really uninformed Coakley is on just about everything. Most of you seem to think Palin is an “ignoramus” but Martha is far more unprepared than anyone I’ve heard lately. Actually
she’s perfect to hold “Kennedy’s seat” if that’s what people in
Massachusetts want. I’m beginning to think there is a real revolt going on. What a great thing this would be to have a
new Tea Party event happen next week right where the original took place.

Daniel on January 15, 2010 at 9:28 am

Just to let everyone know, these pictures in Cosmo were discussed in the local news in MA weeks and weeks ago and rather briefly. I live in MA and plan on voting for Brown on Tuesday. As of this moment, this stuff is off the radar, very old news. I’m frankly in shock because all I see are Scott Brown signs, which NEVER happens here in liberal MA! Any one here in MA who’s paying attention to this race seems to be leaning towards Brown. I’m still concerned though because we have so much union and gov’t. hacks in this state, Coakley could still win. But if Brown pulls this out it is gonna’ be SWEET!

SWQ on January 15, 2010 at 10:39 am

Gays, and women will not be offended by Brown
in his all together…..this is 2010 people…

We have a pervert as School Czar, and tax cheats every where…..Coakley was a tax cheat….2008 report.

A little skin is hardly a turnoff.

Elizabeth, it’s uglier than you think in Mass.

Bob Porrazzo on January 15, 2010 at 11:49 am

Gee, I wonder if these pics of Scott Brown give Chris Matthews a “thrill” up his leg????

DG in GA on January 15, 2010 at 12:30 pm

I would vote for him twice if I could! Mad Martha is a dog. She is a Jean Shaheen look alike. Why do you lib Democratic women all have that pinched look?

Julian on January 15, 2010 at 4:14 pm

My point was if this was all they had they would have waited for the weekend before the election as they did in 2000 with the Bush DWI revelations. That little expose cost Bush several points on Election Day and resulted in the mess we all remember. Look for something big this weekend.

Greg on January 15, 2010 at 4:16 pm

Coakley was involved in the Amareault trial years ago. I am referring to the three people who were falsely accused of being child molestors, never interviewed by the police, and who languished in jail thanks to Scott Harshbarger (the Attorney General) and later MARTHA WHO TOOK HIS PLACE as the District Attorney. This was a witch hunt if there ever was one. Dorothy Rabinowitz has written on this for the Wall Street Journal. For that alone, Mad Martha must be defeated. One of the saddest comments on this case: “We can’t look into somebody’s heart and fully know their motives. . . however, either the prosecutors truly believed in their guilt or, knew they were innocent and simply did not care in order to advance their careers.” And that means YOU, MARTHA! She is a witch.

Julian on January 15, 2010 at 4:22 pm

mr brown is right up the gay boys alley.here in calif. we would rather see naked 22 yearold babes on the cover, but realize the butch mass. conservatives like a little something different.

matt on January 16, 2010 at 3:19 am

Coakley’s latest gaffe: she thinks that Kurt Shilling is a Yankee fan or played for them or something. That should go over real well in Boston. What a fool she is! Maybe she should try staying outside Fenway Park and shaking hands, as Scott Brown has done. Oh, I forgot: Coakley would not “demean” herself by hanging out with the “little people”.

AliceL. on January 16, 2010 at 12:16 pm

Wow,he is hot! I’ve been out of it not knowing about these pics. Definitely a bonus on his campaign, I thought he was handsome already. I’m glad he won even though he isn’t prolife, but at least he stands for fiscal conservatism& is opposed to giving terrorists rights and lawyers.

@freedom4usa on January 20, 2010 at 1:35 am

Since you seem to be the expert on boobs, why don’t you show yours?

Or perhaps we’d like to see some pictures of your dad without a shirt, or your grandfater? Yes, what’s fair is fair. Pictures of dead men shown for riducule is disgraceful.

LP: My father and grandfathers are dead (but they never had man boobs–they stayed in shape). And, as for me, for the record, to quote a “Seinfeld” episode, “They’re real and they’re spectacular.” Thanks for asking. DS

This is BS. I arrived here by searching for Debbie Schlussel nude photo. Instead I find a picture of Ted Kenney. I like Ted, but he is not hot. Does anyone has a link to Debbie’s nude photo? is she single?
