EXCLUSIVE – “Is This America?”: Welcome To Starbucks Dearbornistan

By
“Is this America?” That’s the question a sharp friend of mine asked after snapping this shot at the at the Dearbornistan Starbucks off Michigan Avenue, near Oakwood Blvd. That’s significant because this friend of mine is in the belly of the beast of Dearbornistan and has been for years. He’s seen all of the Islamicization of the area. So, if this piques his interest, it should certainly pique ours.
Coming soon–in a few generations–to the rest of America.

Dearbornistan Starbucks: It’s JihaDelicious

Wonder what Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz thinks about this, since he’s been . I’m sure he thinks it’s just great, since–as I’ve noted previously–he removed the Starbucks woman on the insignia in Saudi Arabia Starbucks stores, lest she turn on and offend sex-starved, repressed Islamic extremists there (and the Mutawa’in–the religious police).
I’ll have a Pumpkin-spiced Jihadi-ccino with whipped cream. How ’bout you?

Pathetic. Truly pathetic. This is dhiminitude in its truest form.

People who don’t like the islamic infringement move out of the area – sort of like the way the Swedish are moving out of Malmo, etc.
And THAT is the way the islamics took/take whole areas and countries – the peaceful way! islam the “religion” of peace.” Mind you, i’m being sarcastic!

I prefer the dhimmi de leche latte…and a donut when I can sneak one by the food police.

Can I get a vanilla sheik?

If you ask me, Dearborn is a foreign country in its own region akin to New York. Spanish in New York and Florida is an analogy to Arabic in Michigan. Thank G-D that I adhere to the kosher dietary strick laws. I just lost my appetite for coffee. Where is english for cryin’ out loud?

>>”…People who don’t like the islamic infringement move out of the area…”
Allat…..I realize you were using sarcasm, but your statement is dead on correct anyway. I, too, live in the bowels of the beast and notice that those who tuck and run provide an easy means to take over an area. Retreat to victory, right?
Last Friday morning I sat in 19th district court for Huessein Zorkot’s preliminary examination on charges stemming from his wandering about, at dusk in a family park, in cammies, face paint, dark cap, and carrying locked and loaded AK-47 clone. At least the judge kept his butt in jail and did not reduce the bond (yet). What I noticed was that there was no one there from any media save one old Dearborn rag, and of course the Arab press. Not important enough I guess…..no matter how similar to Virgina Tech it could have turned out to be. Of course, it’s NIMBY to the rest of the world, the hell with those of us who stayed behind.
What the vaiant retreaters seem to ignore is that right behind them come the migrants they fled also “moving on up,” so to speak. It’s the historic pattern of the Detroit metro area. In short, escape is temporary and down the road you must confront the problem of dhiminitude again…and again. Somewhere along that migratory line, one supposes, you must take a stand. My guess is that won’t happen south of Ste. Ignace, maybe even Sault Ste Marie.

that writing looks like what a tagger would spraypaint on a highway overpass, write the special in english starbuck dirty turbin lovers

PNAMARBLE on September 25, 2007 at 5:01 pm

Ha. The taggers use far better English, or at least Spanglish 🙂

Zoyadog on September 25, 2007 at 5:16 pm

Zoyadog and Allat – you have touched the cornerstone of peaceful Jihad – namley demographics and migration patterns. These people know if they reach a critical mass and Islamify an area enough, they can intimidate people out through both their own numbers or through outright coercion far more easily. What has been going on in Dearborn, as well as in parts of the west side of Cleveland is the formation of these fifth column beachheads. Nobody in these areas would have seen what was coming 20-30 years ago.
Zoyadog, you are especially right. I wouldn’t want to live by these vermin, and I probably would tuck tail and run, in your case, up to Bloomfield, Troy, Sterling Heights, Birmingham, or the multitude of suburbs to the north and west of Detroit where this is not happening.
[JASONB: WRONG. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE, INCLUDING IN ALL THE CITIES YOU NAME ABOVE. DS]

I assume the problem you’re all having with this is symbolic, because the message itself is benign (“ramadan is generous, have a great year” is the gist of it).
This is no different than a Chinese New Year message in Chinatown, or a Cinqo de Mayo message in San Antonio, so it can’t simply be the use of a foreign language that’s upsetting you.
Complaining about this looks petty and hurts the credibility of those who oppose Islamic immigration because of the REAL reason, which is that Islam has at it’s core the desire to rule the world. Let’s keep our eye on the prize and keep the criticism of Islamic teaching at the usually much higher level that I’ve come to expect from this blog.

Jason – just fyi… I’ve seen women wearing a Burqa or Niqab(?) – (the full body covering w/only a slit open for the eyes) – at Borders in Farmington Hills and shopping at Target in Madison Heights near Royal Oak. Go to Oakland Mall in Troy and you will see many many Islamic women/families (ie., all areas West and North of Detroit!)

Thank you, Bush.

Yes, That is that truth – of how the islamics take over.
Things are not going too well. And THAT’s an understatement.
Just like the Americans trend is to leave the country because politics/economy/immigration is not going too well. It’s a joke, don’t ya think?
The Americans are fleeing to Eur. And the Europeans are fleeing to America!
I say one MUST stay put to wrestle with adversity. Running away from a problem will not make it go away.
Unfortunately, it seems America will be brought to its knees before it can evolve further. I have said before (in Dhimmi Watch) – when comparing the entity of America to a physical body – when one is about to fall, the automatic response is to break the fall, by stretching out the hands to prevent the fall – however, one’s knees get very bloody. And the saying is “no pain – no gain.”
The entire body of the populace will suffer – before a change of government will be brought forward – this time a Government OF THE PEOPLE, etc. One that will address the local, community matters first, along with siphoning the money on the local level. One that will be like the Council of the Iroquois, and behind that, the Council of the Mothers. Like a Cops-and-Robbers game – disengaging from the Central gov. back to a local level at times of peace – and uniting to a Center at times of emergency.

A simple message of good wishes for Ramadan – that’s it. There is nothing sinister or evil in it until all the paranoid people start getting all worked up again. Ever been up Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn New York? Nothing but men in black suits, black hats, pigtails, women covered by head scarves, not too many signs in English – they are all in Hebrew! The entire area is Hassidic Jews speaking, dressing, and behaving like what they are- Hassidic Jews. How is that different than the alleged “Islamification” of Dearborn? I don’t get it.

abdulnasik on September 26, 2007 at 1:17 pm

Abdulnasik…..
Let’s see if I can explain it for you. One, it isn’t “paranoia.” I live here in Dearborn, and most stores, Arabic or otherwise, make their signage in both English and Arabic if the wish is to be bilingual. Whether you like it or not, the nieghborhood is bicultural or multicultural, not all Arab or Islamic. I don’t really care much about Brooklyn, since I don’t live there, but since it is also populated by more than Hasidic Jews, if they exclude English, they too are discourteous and presumptively so. That is no excuse for it here.
English is the generally accepted national language in the United States. Since Arabs are not here alone I expect a minimum of courtesy in the expressions on signage….for one thing, it would make clear the meaning of the message. I’ve traveled to a few other countries, some half way around the world, and in places where there are few Americans living, and I find all the signage in the native language of those countries…not mine alone. Where there is a significant English speaking population, lo and behold, the signage is in both languages. Go figure.
For a store in west Dearborn to put up a sign soley in Arabic is Dhminnitude, pure and simple…a weak kneed pandering to Islam at best. Now when I see signs in Hebrew and English in Mecca celebrating Yom Kippur or Christmas, maybe I’ll change my mind.
Oh, that’s right, as a infidel I am not allowed to visit there. My bad. Is that the solution for those of us here long before you, too?

Zoyadog on September 26, 2007 at 6:58 pm

Zoyadog…..
Thank you for enlightening me with your explanation of “it.” You actually have a good point in that the proper way to post the sign may have been to write the Arabic with English translation. That is not at all unreasonable. As for the rest of your “explanation” – I’m not really sure what you are getting at. I suspect you don’t know either. “…a weak kneed pandering to Islam at best.” What does THAT mean? Is sending Christmas cards a weak kneed pandering to Christianity? I don’t think so but based on your explanation of things I may be mistaken. With regards to your suggestion for Yom Kippur and Christmas greetings in Mecca; I took your idea for a test drive this morning. I drove past the Roman Catholic Cathedral – no Ramadan Kareem signs; ditto at the Synagogue; ditto at the Methodist Church, the Baptist Church … see a pattern developing there? I don’t think your idea has caught on yet. Finally – “those of us here long before you” … I don’t know how long you’ve been here. I know how long I’VE been here – my entire life. Yep, American citizen, born and raised. So what’s your solution now? More important, what is the problem you are looking to find a solution for?

abdulnasik on September 27, 2007 at 9:41 am

DS: The Saudi’s have the girl on the mug/signs now….I tried to find a ‘just stars and crown’ mug in Saudi, but w/o success. A collectors item!
Small advancement, just 999 years and 364 days to catch up to modern.

Salam ohh here we go again of course lets attack more Muslims and Arabs that can be Christians too. They speak Arabic people. I swear if you people cant handle someone speaking a different language, get a life and get out. Debbie, I bet you speak Hebrew. I bet many of you that read her bulletins speak different languages. So let me tell you this, on most of products, like can food, cereal, paper towel, toilet paper, and such has Spanish words on there. First of all since this is America why do we have Spanish on our products then? I can answer this, its simple, ENGLISH is NOT the ONLY language in this world, or in a America Simply. So all you immigrants, like you are Debbie and actually 90% of this country is, get out, except you Native Americans. Just a thought, and who ever took the picture, you must have a lot of time on your hands. Go spend your time at the Parthenon Club right across the street. Since you probably love your BOOZE and love to look at women that cant dress modest instead they strip. Islam makes sense, its simple, no sex before marriage, women cover up so guys don’t stare at them like an object, no drinking, and pray. Wow who would of guessed that many people in America are converting this fast growing religion. Maybe cause they are sick and tired of the bad stuff out there, and Islam makes sense. Think about, oh wait I know you wont.
