Indian Cellphone Dry-Runners Get Away With It

So several Indian (and probably Muslim) passengers on a Northwest flight have a large number of cellphones on the flight, won’t listen to the flight crew, and are disruptive. But yet, they are not suspicious at all.
And are released! Huh? At the very least, they should be charged with obstructing a flight crew or disorderly conduct . . . or something.
From AP:

Prosecutors said Thursday they found no evidence of a terrorist threat aboard a Northwest Airlines flight that was diverted to Amsterdam, and are releasing all 12 passengers arrested after the jetliner landed.
The men, all Indian nationals, had aroused suspicions on Flight NW0042 to Bombay because they had a large number of cell phones and other equipment, and refused to follow the crew’s instructions, prosecutors said.
Because of those actions by the passengers, the pilot of the DC-10 radioed for help shortly after takeoff Wednesday and the plane was escorted back to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport by two Dutch fighter jets. The 12 were arrested after the plane landed.
“A thorough investigation of the cell phones in the plane found that the phones were not manipulated and no explosives were found on board the plane,” said a statement from the prosecutor’s office in Haarlem, which has jurisdiction over the airport.
“From the statements of the suspects and the witnesses, no evidence could be brought forward that these men were about to commit an act of violence,” the statement said.

Sure sounds like a dry run for us. And a very successful one at that. The suspects managed to draw the captain out of the cockpit (not again?!). They used cell phones on the flight in violation of rules. And they saw what would happen to them for doing so and for disobeying the flight crew: NOTHING!
And they managed to get away with it, five years after 9/11.
Is there anyone who really believes it’s just a mere coincidence that there are so many seeming apparent dry runs in the few weeks since the British hijacking plot was foiled?

They’re hoping the authorities will get sick of it and become complacent. Then BAM! 🙁

There is no evidence for a rational person to think otherwise.

It’d be interesting to see whose numbers were stored/dialed/received on those cellphones.

Do what those Britts did a week ago and just refuse to fly with any muslums at all .

Jonathan Kellerman could do a novel about coincidences. I’m sure Alex Delaware would find a case like this very interesting. Because I don’t happen to believe “dry runs” are carried out by passengers who simply happen to be flying from one destination to another. Not when there’s a large number of cellphones involved. And we’re nearing the fifth anniversary of 9/11 soon.

Why the hell are they being released? Do airplane passengers who disrupt and cause inconvenience to others get prosecuted ONLY if they are caught with proof of terrorism?? Whats going on??
It is quite unusual for Indians to do something like this on a plane…. unless they are Indian Mozlums who won’t hesitate to do the worst that you can imagine! Won’t be surprised if all those 12 have strong ties to Mozlum terror supporting groups (CAIR, ADC, etc) or the ACLU that loves to bed with these kind of mofos. Thats why they have the arrogance to do this, coz they know that they’ll get away with it.
They cleared this dry run. Must be preparing for their next event. Does anyone have their names?

More from Indian newspapers.
From their names, a number of the 12 detained seem to be Bohra Muslims of Mumbai. While 10 of them have Mumbai addresses, one of them is from Bahraich district in UP, while another is an Indian, with a Bahrain address.

I’ve seen people get booted off a flight and arrested for much, much less. Will we ever learn?

AirborneVet on August 24, 2006 at 9:43 pm

This will sort itself out soon enough – I just hope I and my loved ones are not on the next flights to be crashed. Because after that muslims won’t be flying, period. Any airline that lets them on the plane will be facing a lot of empty seats…
People will go along with the PC nonsense up to a point. There are neighborhoods I won’t walk in. Call it racism if you like – I call it common sense. I don’t go around picking fights, and I mind my business, and I steer clear of trouble. I suspect most people are just like me – tolerant types who’d prefer not to be bothered. It’s not like we’re running around burning mosques for fun. However, we won’t be pushed far either. I suspect many have reached their limit.

ALL OF THEM ARE MOZLUMS!! I just read it in an Indian newspaper website.
Those detained were identified as Sohail Abdul Aziz Nizami, Ayub Qadir, Sajid Qadir Chappalwala, Yusuf Haji Ghaffar Memon, Nur Mohammed Batliwala, Shakeel Usman Chotani, Ayub Khan, Ehsan Farooqi, Ghulam Mustafa, Mohammed Yusuf, Mohammed Imran and Mohammed Iqbal Batliwala.

A comment made by an Indian ex-army man.
Pretty justified
I am an Indian and also an ex officer who has had a lot to do with counter-terrorism.
The detention of the 12 men was unfortunate, but justified. If the air marshall gets suspicous, he is well advised to act on his suspicion rather than be sorry later. Somehow, many law enforcers in India are quite ‘relenting’ , for various reasons. The result is that we are seeing too many successful terrorist incidents in India.

It is time for airline passengers to take matters in their own hands.
People should just get off the plane if they see suspicious passengers and let everyone on the flight know why you are getting off.
If we all did this, they would have no choice but to enforce a little common sense.
I am sick and tired of the PC nonsense that our Government is engaged in and it is time for all of us to protest this nonsense.
Are you with me?

ScottyDog on August 25, 2006 at 2:03 pm

Yes, we have no other choice. I am going to do just that – get off a plane if I see someone suspicious and the airlines won’t do anything about it.
Right now, while the Indian Mozlums have termed this as “racism”, the rest of India is shocked that these Mozlums dry-runners were let off. Those 12 assholes were passing phones between themselves, talking loudly in Urdu (a well known terrorist language), walking during take-off, and cursing at the crew (in Urdu). If that were an Indian plane, those 12 would have disappeared upon landing! Even though the Indian government is more PC than the US government, Indian jails aren’t exactly safe for anyone, especially Mozlums.
Their names are out in public already, and it is Bombay. The Hindus won’t keep quiet. Keep reading the news…..

It’s fear people.
The fednazis want you to feel helpless and outraged by these events where it seems like ‘dangerous Muslims’ are always executing ‘dry runs’ and getting away with it.
Don’t you get it? They want you scared so you’ll hand over more and more of your autonomy to them.
Better yet, just don’t fly. Why anyone would get on a plane today and surrender their rights and place themselves and their families at so much risk is beyond me.

Yusuf Haji Ghaffar Memon: the last name is same as ‘Tiger’ Memon, a Bombay muslim gangster involved in 1993 terrorist bomb blasts in bombay, now believed living in Dubai/pakistan…coincidence?

aggiegabe on August 30, 2006 at 1:44 am

Yusuf Haji Ghaffar Memon lives in Memon Colony — thats where all Memons are from, probably Tiger Memon is from there too. May they all roast in pigs asses…. sab log suwar ke aulaad…(sons of pigs)
