Happy Eid, “Hip” Hijab Wearers & Bali Bombers!

Today is part of the three-day feast ending Ramadan, known as Eid Al-Fitr. It started yesterday in some places, not until Tuesday for others, depending upon when your imam believes there was a “moon-sighting.”
And Muslims all around the world have their own unique ways of celebrating. In Dearbornistan, the kiddies have the day off from school. In Detroitistan, the Detroit Free Press told us that it’s now “hip” to don the hijab, in a cover story of its “Twist” women’s magazine insert in the Sunday paper (see pictures in the article). That’s right–symbols of oppression are now “hip” to a women’s mag that would never call a nun’s habit or religious Jewish and Christian garb “hip.” (The covermodel, Sarah Hekmati’s own Iranian-born family even felt she was regressing back to the stone age, donning the hijab as some sort of counter-rebellion.)

And in Indonesia, the government is releasing terrorist mass-murderers in honor of Eid Al-Fitr. To repeat: in honor of Eid Al-Fitr, Indonesia–home to the world’s largest Muslim population–is releasing two of the Bali bombers to freedom. Happy Eid Al-Fitr, world! Yet again, the “Religion of Peace” is celebrating one of its holidays by freeing mass murderers. And not a peep from the “Islam is Peace” crowd.
If terrorists are just a lonely group that hijacked a “peaceful” religion, then why is the Muslim-dominated government of the globe’s largest Muslim population releasing those that “hijacked” their religion to freedom as a celebration of one of their religion’s most important–if not the most important–holidays?
Just asking. Not holding our breaths for an answer. We’ll never get one.

I wonder how hip people will think the hijab is when they find out it is a female or male terrorist with a weapon or bomb underneath.

Last year I vacationed in Bali. It is absolutely beautiful like Hawaii at a fraction of the price. It is mainly Hindu, and they love Americans! We spent one day in the tourist area, Kuta, to visit Paddy’s Pub – Redux (Originally destroyed by homicide bombers) to enjoy an excessive amount of adult beverages. This was our way of giving the Islamic terrorist the middle finger! On the way there, it was ironic to see Islamic women waiting at a bus stop – with a look of anxiety in their eyes(Priceless).

Ramadan was the deadliest month in Iraq.
That is part of the answer to your question, Deb.
The other part, yes, Islam is the religion of peace.
Islam means: Peace in a world without Kuffar (Infidels)!

A response from the Free Press:
“Whether it be a head scarf or a kimono, a fur coat or tight jeans, fashion _expression is part of the fun of being a woman. That’s what this particular article was focused on….I’m hoping we can all look beyond a scarf or a religion or a race and look at how awesome so many woman around us are and what a difference they make in our community.”
In other words, it’s all completely harmless…have some kool aid.

Debbie got it all wrong. What she didn’t realize was the main story of the magazine:
5 ideas for great getups
You see, the hijab is nothing more than a scary Halloween costume.
But, seriously folks, to all my Muzlum bruthas and sistas;
I hope you had a wonderful Ramadama-Ding-Dong, and that all of your “fasting” didn’t rob your brain cell of the vital nourishment you so desperately need. Look for your moon god, eat lots of candy, then go to the nearest busy highway and pray to allah while kissing the pavement in the left lane.
