Important Analysis from the Annapolis Shove-the-Pieces-Down-Israel’s-Throat Conference

By Debbie Schlussel
Would we let Israel decide America’s national security matters? We wouldn’t (though in some cases–TSA?–that might work better). We recognize that a country is entitled to its own sovereignty. Or do we?
Carl in Jerusalem points out that while the BS Annapolis “Peace” Conference is only just beginning, the U.S. has already decided, in writing, that it will decide whether or not each side has lived up to its commitments to “The Road Map”–the plan to carve up Israel in exchange for “peace”. The U.S. will be judge, jury, and executioner and is already lauding the Palestinians for keeping those commitments (like stopping terror and recognizing Israel), which it hasn’t kept. Instead, it’s laying the blame on Israel.

Sorry, but would you want people like Madeleine Albright, Jimmy Carter, and Condi Clueless to decide Israel’s national security? I wouldn’t want Ehud Olmert and Tzipi Livni (his very vapid deputy) deciding ours (or our country would be gone).
Read Carl’s very important analysis of the Annapolis Conference and these heavy-handed measures in favor of America’s Islamist enemies. (Ignore the parts from WorldNutDaily, as the “reporter” who wrote it, is a plagiarist and has reported info in the past that has proven entirely fabricated.)

I will never understand this need for the United States to approve every more that Israel makes to protect herself. Well, in this case to give away the farm.
Watching Israel go down the tubes is just as frustrating as watching America go down the tubes. What should I expect when it is the same group of people leading the way in both cases!!
Will the real leaders for both nations please stand up?

I wonder how the Arabs will be able to behave themselves for a whole day and not let on their real hatred for the Jews and the Americans…an hour?

I’ll say it again–Israel has no one to blame but itself. Israel should behave like a sovereign nation, not one that feels the need to ask permission for every little thing. And to keep a loser like Olmert as their leader? Can’t they learn–groveling will never get you anywhere? And especially groveling to a lameduck unpopular president. Are there no men in Israel? Are they all eunuchs?

Lexi, unfortunately for Israel, we have a lot of moonbats here – leftists who want to be accepted by the world more than they want to live. It is very, very frustrating for the rest of us. Those of us who want to have a Jewish nation, who want to end terrorism, who acknowledge that there is no way Muslim Arabs can live in our land with us peacefully, who want to visit and maintain control over OUR holy sites — well, WE ARE THE RADICALS. Yes, we are the crazy rightwingers who are “impediments to peace.” And Israelis are not polite like Americans so they will tell you this to your face.
I know someone whose daughter is in the IDF. Now, naturally, she is on edge and I don’t blame her, though girls are not anywhere near combat but, nonetheless. Anyway, when bombs were raining down on northern Israel in the summer of 2006, she made a snide comment about how Olmert decided he “wanted to go to war,” as if there were ANY OTHER CHOICE! This is the suicidal mentality that we are dealing with here.
You know those crazy settlers you read about, those folks “squatting” on “Arab land”?? Those people are the salt of the earth, and if God decides to save Israel’s ass one more time, it will be on the merit of those settlers in Judea and Samaria (and Gaza, before they were expelled from their homes).
