So This is Peace?: Muslims Kill At Least TEN Jews, Wound 35 in Deadly Attack on Jewish School in Israel; UPDATE – Insider Source: New Hezbo Grp in Gaza Takes Credit

By Debbie Schlussel
**** UPDATE #3: Carl in Jerusalem has video on the attacks ****
****UPDATE #2: Schlussel Lebanese Intelligence Sources: My sources say this attack was committed by a new Hezbollah-allied terrorist group in Gaza called Liberators of the Galilee Brigades/Martyrs of Imad Mughnieh and Gaza. My sources say that Al-Manar (Hezbollah TV) is declaring this, also. ****
**** UPDATE: Witnesses say one terrorist fired 500-600 bullets before he was shot. ****
I really wish Bush’s chickie Condi Clueless Rice would stay away from Israel and quit trying to force it into deals with Palestinian Muslim Nazis, as she did yesterday and today.

In the midst of her “peace” negotiations, today, Muslim Arab terrorists murdered at least TEN Jewish students at a Yeshiva [Jewish academy of higher learning].
And they didn’t pick this Yeshiva, the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva (also spelled, “Mercaz HaRav”), by accident. Merkaz HaRav means “Center of the Rabbi,” or “The Rabbi’s Center,” as it was founded in 1924 in Jerusalem by Israel’s First, most famous, and most Zionistic Chief Rabbi, Rav Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook, who believed in a Zionist Jewish homeland in Israel, built by Jewish laborers (not Arab Palestinian imports).
Rav Kook was one of the most important figures in Zionism and the establishment of a Jewish state in Israel, especially among religious Jews. He believed in Jews doing manual labor and building and planting things, that it was good for them to not just be intellectuals but also manual laborers. I have many of Rav Kook’s books and books about him in my library of books from my late father.
The dead terrorists [CORRECTION: Turns out to be ONE terrorist] had explosive vests on, which, thankfully, they failed to detonate. And–no surprise–Palestinians danced in the streets to celebrate. Barbaric animals:

Two Arab terrorists infiltrated Jerusalem’s Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva at around 8:30 Thursday night and murdered eight Jews. At least six people have been wounded; three are in critical condition and a fourth victim was wounded moderately.
The attackers entered from two separate entrances to the yeshiva and opened fire on the students before one of them was gunned down himself by an armed civilian. Witnesses say that the attack began in the seminary’s library.
The second terrorist hid in the yeshiva building, with subsequent reports indicating that the attacker was killed by responding security forces. Police are deployed in the surrounding neighborhood, and scoured the yeshiva and connected buildings. Most students in the building were evacuated after taking cover in the yeshiva’s bomb shelter, according to police spokesmen.
Fifty ambulances responded to the scene, which emergency responders have called “a major incident.” The wounded were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital.
In Gaza City, Arab residents went out into the streets and fired rifles in the air in celebration of the attack against the Jews of Jerusalem.
Police forces are on heightened alert throughout the country.
The Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva is located near the entrance to Jerusalem, in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood. The yeshiva, founded by Rabbi Avaraham Yitzchak Kook, is at the heart of the national-religious movement in Israel.

Thanks to readers Ari and Emet M’Tsiyon for the tip.
Will this be the final straw for Ehud Olmert’s reign of insecurity and capitulation resulting in bloodshed and misery for innocent Israeli civilians? Or will it take more murders such as these for Israelis to finally take back their country?
Sadly, it will probably be the latter.
Please pray for these innocent victims of terrorism and their families.

Very unfortunate and heartbreaking tragedy. Muslims are still peaceful, right?

And to think that there are ‘conservative’ commentators who say that she would be a great VP candiate for Sen. McCain.
In many parts of the world, the US War “Against” Terrorism has really been a war for terrorism. The US is giving massive financial aid to Palestinian terrorists, sanctioning, in effect, and the firing of rockets against Israeli populations. While the US is also beating down on other small populations trying to resist the tide of terrorist and fascist aggression eleswhere in the world, the clarity and starkness of the issues in Israel makes it hard not to conclude that anti-Semitism is also a factor in US policy.

The Religion of Peace strikes again.

cankelz on March 6, 2008 at 3:37 pm

The barbarian IslamiNazis once again show the true nature of their “religion.” When will Americans wake up and realize the truth about the poor, so-called Palestinians? They supported Hitler long before the state of Israel was created and they still follow his ideas today. “Heil Allah!” is the real chant of the Islamic enemies of Israel.

FreethinkerNY on March 6, 2008 at 3:42 pm

If you read the story about this on, they never reference that the victims were CHILDREN. They refer to them as “Israelis”, “victims”, or “people.”
But CBS is quick to portray a Palestinian victim as a “child”, a “baby”, an “innocent toddler.”
CBS and our liberal media are repulsive.

cankelz on March 6, 2008 at 4:00 pm

I am so aggravated. The Palestinians have got to read (and freakin’ understand) the memo, what you are doing to achieve what you want just isn’t working. In fact it will never work.
The Palestinians are fortunate that they, at this point, have only had the IDF to deal with. The IDF has been clinical, and particularly surgical, in their response to Palestinian aggression. There have been a few individual Israelis who took action on their own against the Palestinians, and the number and type has been comparatively few to what the Palestinians have done.
Well, push has come to shove.
The next Palestinian funeral, when thousands of people hit the streets, I would not be surprised if an individual Israeli (or group of Israelis) whack the whole bunch of them.
I will not be surprised if the residents of Sderot launch thier own rockets into Gaza. I would wager that those rockets will be vastly superior, in number and accuracy, to any that the Palestinians have launched.
It is time that the Palestinians suffer to the point that all they have left are people who are willing to learn how Muhatma Ghandi and M.L. King achieved their results.
If pain and suffering is all the Palestinians understand then that is the only language that should be used to address them.

A sad day, but also a day to redouble our efforts in fighting against the jihad. You are right that the “peace process” is a sham and at best a delusion and that Secretary Rice has enough to do elsewhere. However, I would not want to give the impression that anyone else but the jihad inspired losers of the Muslim world are responsible for this latest depravity.

Papa Bear on March 6, 2008 at 4:16 pm

In the normal, everyday, Palestinian-on-the-street mind, there will be no peace until Tel Aviv is given back to them.
There will never be peace.
Time for another 6 day war.

cankelz on March 6, 2008 at 4:32 pm

Religion of peace should be smashed to pieces. Enough is enough. Rice should stay the h–l out of Israel and order the Air Force to drop everything they have for 6 months straight. Be done with it. Empty promises cost lives once again. Our Military is already there. They should do what they do best and LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR.

There turned out to be ONE terrorist, an Arab from east Jerusalem who was able to pass himself off as a Jew. Yitzhak Dadon, who shot him, saved a lot more lives. One thing is clear: the Arabs in Israel all have to go. The money that Israel spends trying to secure everything inside Israel can’t save every Jew, since it takes just ONE Arab to turn a crowded building into a slaughterhouse. If there were no Arabs in Israel, all of the vigilant, time-consuming and expensive security measures would be unnecessary. Jews should not have to be afraid to walk the streets of their own land and to enjoy peace in their own schools and homes. The Oslo approach is a dead end that has bred more Arab fanaticism, hatred of Jews and deadly violence. What’s needed is not to give away more Jewish land but rather the reverse: to make sure Arabs can’t harm a single Jew in Israel.

Of course, UN Ambassador, humanitarian, and all around good person ANGELINA JOLIE, will appear on behalf of the murdered Israelis and denounce Islamic terrorism. Right? Thought so.

softwaregurus on March 6, 2008 at 5:39 pm

Clueless Condi need not to even exit the plane. She and her clueless boss Bush have done so much damage to the Israelis. They teamed up with the perfect clueless spineless leader in Olmert.
The world ignores the hundreds of rockets launched into Israel and focuses on Israel’s efforts to protect her citizens.
Several times in the Old Testament God instructed the leaders of Israel to enter the land of their enemy and extinguish the life of every man, woman and child. Sometimes they were even instructed to kill every animal that lived in the land of their enemy.
God never instructed Israel to use this weak limp wristed approach with her enemies and he never will!!! In layman’s terms it is past time to kill every living breathing mother fucker that wants to wish harm and/or destruction to Israel!! They do not have such a powerful military by accident!! It is time for them to dust off this hardware and start kicking some ass!!

newinnewark on March 6, 2008 at 5:53 pm

Furthermore, I’m tired of clueless Condi giving my hard earned money to these murderous moozlums via cash and American weapons!!! The whole world is in a meltdown!!

newinnewark on March 6, 2008 at 5:57 pm

I think its about time now to act and start ciculating the Muhammed cartoon and cartoons that portray islam in an offensive way.
Is Olmert the only one entitled to heavy security? Its his arrogance and unwillingless to retaliate that brought about this shooting massacre. It just naseates me to think that I incovertly funded these sub-human murderes with my tax money. It makes me feel like an accomplice to a certain degree and it deeply shames me to say this. If we bend too far back, we will snap.
May G-D avenge the innocent blood thats been shed and protect Israel from suicidal maniancs in the Knesset.

American Sabrah on March 6, 2008 at 6:08 pm

If Bush, Rice, the EU, and everyone else giving financial aid to the Palestinians do not stop this immediately, they are complicit in this attack, as are any American politicians who do not urge such a cessation of aid.
It is really ridiculous. While things like this are happening in the world, the newspapers, and most of the political blogs & talk show hosts are talking about the latest poll, or the superdelegates. They have lost all sense of priorities if they every had one to begin with.

c f on March 6, 2008 at 7:14 pm

Sigh.. I am sooo sick of this crap-jew, vs muslim, vs jew vs muslim AGAIN. WHEN will it stop/ We have too much to learn from each other, and we are killing each other?? Over land, over dirt??? WHAT WILL COME OF THIS HATE???

mindy1 on March 6, 2008 at 9:18 pm

Dearest Mindy,
You were probably asleep during bible class that the rift between the arabs/muslims and jews dates back to the time of the conflict btween Issac and Ismael. Not to metion the persecution of jews in muslim countries all occuring before the establishment of the state of Israel. There has always been a vendetta bt jews and muslims and there will always be and furthermore, its people like you who encourage it. This intifada is not only about land and territory. If it is, then explain why we got hit on 9/11 by our dear cousins from the dessert. Its all about the muslim conquest of the world and the destruction of the West. I presume you are not justifying the shooting massacre carried out by these blood thirsty 7th century primitives. If they stone their duaghters to death under the charges of being raped, what makes you think they’ll treat us the dhimmis with more dignity? Not a flying chance in hell, baby.I suggest you stop whining and start learning how to respond to someone who shoots your child to death in cold blood G-D forbid.

American Sabrah on March 6, 2008 at 9:50 pm

Every able Israeli ought to make their own home-made napalm rocket and fire it into Hamas/Hezbolla territory. Just as counter force & counter strike were the answer to MAD, if you’re not prepared and willing to do it you will be killed. One thousand rockets a day for one week should make a big dent in the situation. What will Olmert do? His government is broken. As Chingo Bling says: “They can’t deport us all!”
Overwhelm the border with big numbers.

timjansing on March 6, 2008 at 11:04 pm

Mindy get a clue. There is no negotiating w/animals such as these. The sooner people dry their eyes over palestinians not loving them BACK the sooner they can get to ridding themselves of the plague which has been murdering them.
It’s not for dirt that they kill. They’re like a race of Ted Bundy’s, they do it because they like it. THEY CELEBRATE DEATH, LADY! WAKE UP AND THIIIIIINK!

samurai on March 7, 2008 at 8:20 am

This fight is not over dirt. It’s about who God has a covenant with, Issac or Ishmael. The Zionist movement that brought the Jews back to the Holy Land and in particular the creation of a Jewish state following WWII is the cause, because the mere fact that jews are flourishing in the land of Abraham is proof that God’s covenant is with Issac and them. The children of Ishmael can stand this. This war will never end until one side is annihilated. The muslims are not satified with Mecca and Medina. They can’t sit by and let the jews live in Jerusalem; it disproves the precepts of their religion. Do you understand now?

Rick on March 7, 2008 at 10:53 am

hit the moslems hard israel:
take out their idol god baal: alias allah.
the ideology must be dealt a death blow.
and to see the look on their faces when it happens would really be something.
