GirlieMan USA: ABC News Says American Boys Should Wear More Pink

By Debbie Schlussel

Apparently, ABC News and its reporter, Andrea Canning, think that just one or a few “My Princess Boys” are not enough.  They want you to “break stereotypes” and have your son wear pink (and chartreuse), too. “An open dialogue about the gender color wars?” Wow, someone’s been workin’ overtime on her New Age psychobabble. Ya think anyone in the Islamic world is teaching their boys to wear pink as they plot to kill us (other than Afghan Bacha Bazi boys)? Hell, no. They are out reinforcing their masculinity, while we are feminizing America’s men and replacing them with chicks. Yeah, that’s how you lose Western civilization. Who needs the ghost of Osama Bin Laden, when we are destroying America from within all on our own? ABC News even asks the dumb question, “Is pink the new blue for boys?” Answer:  Uh, no.  It isn’t, no matter how much the inner Liberace Manilow running ABC wants to make it so.  Watch this absurd video:

Hey, I like wearing the occasional pink shirt. Sets off the Olive skin and the chest hair. Takes a real stud type to pull it off.

Schlussel, of course the men and women in the islamic world are NOT teaching their young males to “wear pink” and try to “get with their feminine end” BS. As for some parents in this country who’s indoctrinating some young males in this country, years from now, the boys who are feminized and wear pink will become degenerate “metrosexuals” and probably not want to get married to a woman and raise a family.

When I get married and have children, if I have a son or sons, my wife and I will NOT let our son(s) wear pink, pink is for girls, we’ll let our daughter(s) wear pink. Since I have a one-year old niece, she wears some pink clothing, because that’s appropriate for the child, if I had a nephew, more likely my sister and her husband wouldn’t let the boy wear pink (my sister who’s married happens to be a liberal who’s a registered Democrat, but she’s to the left-of-center liberal, she’s NOT a knee-jerk far-left nutcase, I believe her husband, ie, my brother-in-law is a centrist who’s not into politics. As a matter of fact, none of my two sisters and brother-in-law are into politics like me), because they know that color is not appropriate for boys.

Whoops, I made a little error in my last message, what I meant to say in the perentices was:

“(As a matter of fact, none of my two sisters and brother-in-law are NOT into politics like me)”

That’s what I meant to say, unfortuantly I was thinking too quick and didn’t notice my error in that message.

Isn’t pink a mixture between white and RED?

I’ve been wearing pink oxford dress shirts (button down collar and tie) for the past 35 years. Back in the day they came in blue, yellow, and white, in addition to pink. I have all four colors. The best were from American shirtmakers, such as Sero and Gant, or sometimes Hathaway. Always 100% cotton. Obviously these companies are now long gone. Now, in order to get a decent oxford, one must go overseas, with a shirt made in Asia. Maybe Lauren or Brooks.

BTW, I carry a concealed handgun, own several rifles, and am a complete traditionalist. Hell, I’m not sure women should even be allowed to vote. You’ll pry my pink oxford off my back only if I’m not still breathing.

I wear black. Because black is the new black.

Why would anyone defer to ABC for fashion tips? That makes even less sense than a woman asking her gay hairdresser if she should go long or short. Here’s a clue. When he says short hair on a woman looks “fabulous”, trust me… it doesn’t.

This whole gender bending mania is really getting ridiculous. Perhaps you caught the story a few weeks ago about this “progressive” couple who won’t even reveal if their new child is a boy or a girl. They want him/her/it to discover his/her/its own gender identity. Sheesh!

Michael, you may like your pink oxfords, but I won’t be caught dead in pink. Agree though about the near impossibility of finding quality US made shirts. But it’s not just shirts. I still use US made stuff from over 30 years ago that, were I to find their modern equivalents, would all be foreign-sourced. Heck, Apple – that great “American” company – today makes *nothing* here.

I don’t believe that wearing pink will cause a boy/man to become any more “feminine” in his attitude/behaviour than he would be anyway.

Saying that, however, I do notice if a male wears pink and I confess to have giggled about it with friends since “clearly, he’s VERY secure in his masculinity”.

My dad would sooner open a vein than wear pink. There’s no way he’d even entertain it. Actually, he won’t even wear red, but that’s for football associations since our team, Everton, wear royal blue while our main rivals, Liverpool, wear red. Dad won’t even wear a replica 1966 World Cup Final shirt in case people think it’s a Liverpool one from a distance.

But yes, I digress. No pink for my dad – and I’ll have known him for 48 years in September.

The really pathetic part of this is that adults are USING/ ABUSING children to promote their silly, CHILDISH agenda.

Of course, I usually wear Black. Accentuates the chest hair and the 50 inch shoulders nicely. Also, if in a restraint situation things get messy, hides the blood stains well.

ABC is owned by Disney, whose founder was anti-union, anti-Semitic, and basically hated people. He was an admirer of the Nazis, until the US entered the war.

I always thought the Disney company were a bunch of perverts. Donald Duck is a flasher, as he wears not pants, and Mickey is plainly a fag; just listen to his voice! His vocal cords were damaged when he gave some other cartoon character fellatio.

Sort of explains ABC’s hatred of real men.

I have worn an occasional pink shirt for shock value just to gauge the reaction of people that couldn’t believe they’d see me in such a color.

That being said, DS is right on the mark. The feminoids want us get in touch with our metrosexual- half a fruit- side with their agenda. They’re so angry that we could capitalize at the next feminoid convention, by setting up concession stands and scalping bottles of Midol.

I do have a rose pink camera… rare model. I don’t think pink though is a man’s color – its just not assertive! It doesn’t give off masculine vibes. Unless you’re Liberace or gay, a guy wouldn’t be caught dead wearing pink!

NormanF on July 19, 2011 at 8:51 pm

Hmm who cares about what color the fabric of your clothing is dyed?

ViddyWell on July 19, 2011 at 10:31 pm

I won’t even wear red. COMMUNISM.

And when I complained once while getting a t-shirt prize “But it’s pink”, the girl responded, “No, it’s salmon” lol

I find myself drawn more to camo these days. I’m sooo out of touch…

No pink in my house. Dark colors only. The same goes for my two grown sons. Pink is for girls, not boys.

Scott on July 20, 2011 at 12:55 pm

PINK?!?! Uh-Uh! No way! Never in a million years will you see me in pink! I wouldn’t be caught dead in pink!

This blog entry was inane the first thirty times it was posted. If one really wants to bother with nonsense from ABC, one should avoid stupid homophobia and instead focus on the derogatory depictions of men that are a constant in the MSM. If we really are to be guided by the example of Bnei Amalek (Muslims), this web site would not even exist, and Debbie would have been silenced long ago.

Forgot my usual nick.

That was nice how she humiliated him immediately after he introduced her. Has anyone been watching TV lately? Men are portrayed as bumbling child-like idiots who wouldn’t be able to clothe or feed themselves without the assistance of their prudent, sensible, dominant wife. We are witnessing a concerted effort by Hollywood to re-define what it is to be a man and a woman, despite the that pesky thing called reality. The US is the new Ancient Rome, and I don’t think they extolled the ladyboy. We need to come back to the traditional values that once made this country great!
