Munich Terrorists Win Again: London Olympics Site Lists Jerusalem as “Palestine” Capital, Israel – No Capital

By Debbie Schlussel

This year’s Summer Olympic Games in London will take place almost 40 years after the murder of Israeli Olympic athletes by Islamic terrorists.  The anti-Israel International Olympic Committee still refuses to memorialize the Israeli athletes who were slain there, lest it offend Muslims. And, yet, the Palestinian terrorists were rewarded with a UN mission not long after the murders.  And, now, they have an official Olympic delegation, which they’ve had for years, despite the fact that there is no official country called, “Palestine.”  Plus the Olympics even drops the bikini requirement from women’s beach volleyball to appease Muslims. And to add insult to injury, Tom Gross noticed that until this morning, the London Olympics website listed Jerusalem as the capital of “Palestine” and listed Israel as a country with no capital at all.  (Now, neither has a capital listed.)  Here is the screenshot Tom captured:

Tom Gross of Mideast Dispatch Caught This on the London Olympic Games Website

Yup, the Munich Olympic terrorists win again. See, terrorism pays. And not only do we negotiate with terrorists, we give them Olympic delegations and stolen capitals that have been Jewish for thousands of years.

Oh, and don’t forget how much of your tax money is going to help pay for security there for wealthy athletes like this pro-Iranian bim.

Debbie there was recently a case before the U.S. Supreme Court, Zivotofsky v. Clinton, in which Menachem Binyamin Zivotofsky, now 9 years old, sue to have the RIGHT to identify Jerusalem, ISRAEL as his place of birth, and not just “Jerusalem,” with no named nation.

The reason this case has gone up to the Supreme Court is because OUR U.S. State Department has fought the Zitofskys to the bitter end! Moreover, this is not just a problem with the Obama administration, but goes back to both Bush administrations as well. This is a big part of the problem: the U.S. Government seems to think that it’s better to remain “neutral” rather than to truly recognize Jerusalem for what all civilized people do: as the capital of Israel. So, it will be very difficult to get the UK to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital– if our own U.S. Government will not do so, demonstrating that its leadership is a miserable moral and ethical failure.

You can read the case here:

Recently, the Supreme Court ruled on the case, and pushed it back to the lower court, as noted below:

Justices push Jerusalem passport case to lower court
The case involves a boy born in Jerusalem whose parents want his passport to list ‘Israel’ as his birthplace, in conflict with U.S. policy.

March 26, 2012|By Timothy M. Phelps, Washington Bureau

The Supreme Court ruled that courts have the power to decide whether Congress… (Andrew Harrer / Bloomberg )WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court weighed into one of the thorniest issues in the

Middle East conflict — who has sovereignty over Jerusalem — ruling that courts have the power to decide whether Congress can order that passports for U.S. citizens born there list “Israel” as their birthplace.

The justices, ruling 8 to 1 on Monday, passed the decision back to a lower court. So Menachem Binyamin Zivotofsky, now 9, will have to wait to find out what his passport will look like.

Apart from the South Sudan, no country on earth has established its embassy in Jerusalem.

What’s significant in the State Department’s opposition and in what the London Olympics organizers did is that the world thinks Israel has no right to decide its capital is located in Jerusalem.

And that is something that is going to reoccur again in the future.

NormanF on April 30, 2012 at 5:22 pm

Actually several countries did have embassies in Jerusalem, but gradually they all wimped out.

As I noted, they corrected it when Israel protested.

But that is exactly the point: no other country on earth would have been subjected to a such a gratuitous and intentional snub in the first place.

Meaning that while some things in the world have changed, the world’s attitude towards the Jews and Israel hasn’t.

When it comes to Israel, courteous treatment is apparently, like all things having to do with the Jewish State, an afterthought.

Is it no wonder they are installing anti aircraft missle batteries on watchtowers and churches. But nothing works better than good old “appeasement”.
“Hey you kikes, did you really think we would forget what happened in “Palestine” under our occupation? Do not be surprised if our next British PM is eats curried goat instead of bangers.” Yes, this could be the next Rupert Murdoch editorial.
Allah save the Queen!

Well, there are some decent Brits in Afghanistan. But, as a general rule, Britain is dying. Sad, very sad. Unfortunately, most of their academics are like Norman Davies and Max Hastings. Max is a nice man, but he doesn’t get it.

A Druze has been named Israeli Ambassador to New Zealand. I hope the poor bastard can handle the wind and the rain and the idiocy.

Occam's Tool on April 30, 2012 at 5:37 pm

So let me get this straight, the OIC is linking Jerusalem in Palestine and making it’s national capital? Last I checked, saw and read, there is NO country in the world called “Palestine”! And I believe the term Palestine was made up by Yasser Arafat in his day, if they want a Palestine, why don’t they either name the West Bank, “Palestine” or Jordan is the new “Palestine”? About a good percentage of Jordanian folks are of Palestinian lineage from what I’ve read.

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Debbie all international organizations which include Arab countries are automatically anti-Semitic. It’s just a numbers game. More importantly I dig the black rubber dress you wore for CNN. It would look great on my floor.

Beautiful Australia (and here, but many don’t know…it’s more an Oz thing) calls the British “Poms” or “Pommies” short for Prisoner Of Mother (England).

I think we can now enjoy sarcastically calling the Brits “Poms” to mean “Prisoner of Moooooooosims”.

Skunky on April 30, 2012 at 8:09 pm

That’s a false derivation. The OED has it as a later, erroneous attribution. OED, Partridge’s Dictionary of Slang, and MacQuarie’s Australian Dictionary all link it to a combination of immigrant and pomegranate (perhaps connection to the colour of sunburnt newcomers to Oz), and perhaps to a pun on Tommy, introduced to Australia by soldiers returning from the Boer War. But let’s not let facts get in the way of a firmly-hurled insult, eh?

      Bullsh, you Pommie git!

Skunky on May 1, 2012 at 9:51 am

Debbie, I have not watch the Olympics since that fiasco in 2002 in Salt Lake City, where the Russian skating team had won over the favored Canadian skating team. The deciding vote came from a female French judge who later claimed that her boss had made a deal with the Russians where the Russian judge will favor the French ice skating couple.

Anyway, I always knew the Olympics were shady at best and very corrupted at worst. I have not since watched anything unless I am at a place where the Olympics are being shown. I just despise the Olympucs because instead of athletes showing the world their Olympic skill, we have committee members and judges playing politics and showing their agendas. I say the hell with them, though their are athletes that participate for the sake of competition and not because of some PC/leftist/Marxist International agenda.

Mario on April 30, 2012 at 9:45 pm

If it’s any consolation, they did not die in vain. The debacle at Munich paved the way for the free worlds military and police to get their collective sh!t together so they could deal with terrorists. America’s law enforcement started forming SWAT units, and after some more prodding by military debacles like those at Desert One in Iran, the US military formed Special Operations units. They may not be perfect, but when all politics fail, 2 to the chest and 1 to the head is now a reliable option.

Double Tap on April 30, 2012 at 10:55 pm

Two things, after reading this:

1) It’s gonna be the lowest rated Olympics ever thanks to Political Correct BS dipping it’s fingers into everything again.

2) Debbie in the black attire in the video. I’ll leave it at that….

Excellent posts this evening!

My personal belief is that Jerusalem be the undivided capital of Israel. The city must remain under Jewish control for peace to endure. Any part controlled by the PLO will allow the free flow of terrorists in that area and never ending violence. Though few will publicly say it, many Palestinians themselves want Jerusalem to remain under Jewish control for that reason. Freedom of religion and democracy is what we have there now and it should be kept that way regardless of what the UN says.

One of the chief instigators of turmoil over Jerusalem who go even beyond the demands of the PLO is The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). In its “Third Extraordinary Session of the Islamic Summit” (what an egotistical title!) held in Mecca on Dec. 7-8, 2005, presented a communique titled “Meeting the Challenges of the 21st Century, Solidarity in Action,” with the following statement:

“Efforts should be made to regain the city of Al-Quds [Jerusalem], safeguard its Islamic and historical character, preserve and protect Al-Aqsa Mosque and other sacred sites, counter the judaization of the Holy City, support the Palestinian institutions in the city, and establish Al-Aqsa University in the city of Al-Quds… [S]afeguard the sacred city’s cultural and historic landmarks and Arab-Islamic identity, and strengthen the steadfastness of its population so that it may regain its character as a city of coexistence and tolerance and the capital of the State of Palestine.”

Notice they want to control the ENTIRE city. Also, Jerusalem has a Jewish identity not an “Arab-Islamic identity.” They squat there, throw up a few buildings, litter the place with Muslim trinkets and suddenly Jerusalem has an Arab-Islamic identity. They demand nothing less than Jerusalem being the capital of Palestine. Period. Don’t get me started…

Unfortunately, their oil has bought them influence in the West along with their demographic invasion of Europe.

BTW, you looked lovely in that video my dear.

Olympics are a dud. From female East Germans with testicles to professional basketball players. Gimme a freaking break! Let the non-bathing f—s watch their soccer. Not me

The Olympics has wandered so far away from what its founders in the nineteenth century had intended that it would appear to them as a meaningless horror. The modern Olympics was an outgrowth of Greece having become independent of the Ottoman Empire. As part of this process, Greeks sought to reclaim their long submerged identity. It was a celebration of ancient Hellinism in which the world was invited to participate. That pleasant essentially vanished decades ago. The Olympics is now a heterogeneous sporting event in which many of the events never even make it to television.

Worry01 on May 1, 2012 at 4:17 am

There is, of course, as of this writing. no such country as “Palestine,” though the Israelis are suicidally ready to give the now-so-called “Palestinians” a second autonomous homeland, if the now-so-called “Palestinians” would just agree to quit killing Jews for five minutes.

The International Olympic Committee has aligned themselves with the people who want Israel wiped off the map, who want the Jews destroyed. (Notice that they aren’t listing Madrid as the capital of Catalonia or Brussels as the capital of Flanders or Amman as the capital of Palestine?) Fine. That’s their right. But they surely realize that, as I’ve been saying for years, Europe, where a lot of these people live, is next on the Islamofascist hit list; the European Union army couldn’t fight off a Brownie troop armed with plastic baseball bats; if these people ever get their wish and Israel is, G-d forbid destroyed, the Arabs will be coming for THEM, for the IOC members.

By the way, they gave in to the Arabs about Jerusalem being the capital of “Palestine.” How long before they give in to the Arabs about requiring all female athletes to wear burkas?

Miranda Rose Smith on May 1, 2012 at 4:42 am

Yes, the IOC is a joke and hatred of the Jews and Israel is alive, well, and it will continue for generations, as BenZion Netanyahu (ZL) prophetically predicted…
Oh and yes, Debbie you look STUNNING in that vid.

the west is doing now what it did in 1938 appease hitler now ita appeasing muslims who want to take over the world not much difference between muslim leadership and hitler

MARTIN on May 1, 2012 at 10:24 am

“Palestine” is a fiction. Should a government recognize it as such, it must be seen as being complicit in Islamic terrorism. Try to imagine Ron Paul becoming our nation’s next president: It would be virtually curtains for Israel.

Seek on May 1, 2012 at 12:07 pm

Arabic is also an official language in Israel.

THough listing it would kill the apartheid narrative….

Ben Hur on May 1, 2012 at 1:37 pm

I have another reason not to watch the Olympics this time.

joan on May 1, 2012 at 1:57 pm

First my most recent look at the official website (london2012.com) shows no capital for any country. Having said that I find it puzzling why Palestine is listed in Asia (as are most of the official countries in the Middle East (save for Egypt = Africa) while Israel is listed as being in Europe??? Seems like something Helen Thomas would say.

William Moskowitz on May 1, 2012 at 2:25 pm

The Olympics are theoretically about amateur sports but in reality all the athletes are professionals. It takes a lot of training to produce that superior athlete and competition is fierce to win that marketable Olympic gold medal.

And you can pretty much guess what countries dominate given fields in the Summer and Winter Games.

Don’t look for things to be different in Sochi, Russia in 2014.

NormanF on May 1, 2012 at 2:27 pm

UK = United alQaedom

America’s chief of national security advisor, John Brennan, makes no excuses for his referencing Israel’s capital, Jerusalem, as al Quds, its name in Arabic. (Brennan “served” for many years in Saudi Arabia.)

Neils60 on May 1, 2012 at 8:15 pm

The Olympic website in trying to please everyone, ends up inevitably pleasing no one. No country’s capital is now included and most absurd of all Israel is said to be in Europe and ‘Palestine’ (a state that does not exist)in Asia. No matter that they share a common border which is yet to be finally delineated. All that was necessary was for the posting to say ‘The capital of Israel is Jerusalem (not recognised by the UN.)

Kibbitzer on May 2, 2012 at 3:13 am

Watched a bit of the opening ceremony. ‘Pagan’ was the word which came to mind as it has on previous occasions as with the Nuremberg Rallies.
