Want a Mosque Next Door to Your House? What if it Produced 2-3 Islamic Terrorists?

By Debbie Schlussel

Would you want a mosque that bred 2-3 Islamic terrorists–including one that massacred several college students and two others that plotted to mass murder many other innocent civilians–in your neighborhood? How ’bout right next door in a bigfoot mosque where a small house used to be?

Mohammed Labadi in Front of the Mosque He Wants to Expand in the Middle of a Chicago-area Neighborhood

Now that Memorial Day is over, USA Today has moved on to the important business of whining for the religion that murdered thousands of the most recent soldiers we mourned yesterday. Today’s McPaper has a large story on the inside front page of the print edition, entitled, “Mosque Projects Face Resistance: Extent of Bias Debated as Foes Cite Worries Such as Traffic, Parking.” The headline already takes an editiorial opinion that there is bias against mosques and that it’s just a question of the “extent.” But look at the photo, above, which appears atop the story.

The picture shows Mohammad Labadi, a board member for the Islamic Society of Northern Illinois University standing in front of a DeKalb house that is currently a mosque. He and the mosque members want to expand this house into a giant mosque. Note that there is a house next door and that it’s in the middle of a neighborhood. Would you want that in your neighborhood? Think the presence of a giant mosque smack dab in the middle of your street will enhance property values? Wanna hear the call to prayer at 4:30 in the morning or 11:30 at night?

These people trying to expand have utter chutzpah. But they have it because we let them. Because we are too wimpy to say no, and when we do, the few brave ones who fight the good fight are persecuted and excluded by everyone else.

And that’s not to mention Steven Kazmierczak, who in February 2008 committed a murderous massacre against Northern Illinois University students, killing five and injuring 21 before he committed suicide. As I reported on this site, this terrorist, Kazmierczak, apparently converted to Islam at NIU and was reportedly converted by and prayed at this same mosque. Kazmierczak learned Arabic and was doing a college paper in favor of HAMAS, which he supported. Where do you think he learned all of this? At the mosque.

Then, there’s Derrick Shareef, an Islamic terrorist who plotted to blow up an Illinois shopping mall and shoot up Jews at a synagogue. Guess where he prayed? Same mosque in DeKalb. Shareef’s roommate , Hassan Abujihaad, plotted to murder American military personnel while he served aboard a US Navy ship. So now it’s possibly three Islamic terrorists influenced by this mosque. Praise allah. Authorities, by the way, called each of three of these terrorists, a “lone wolf,” but apparently they weren’t so lonely or alone. It appears they had the commonality of this mosque. The mosque is a Muslim Student Union outfit–yup, the US branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Want that in your neighborhood?

Want ’em converting your kids as a gateway to Islamic terrorism? That’s what happens when mosques invade neighborhoods and plop their prayer mats and hateful sermons in the middle of Middle American subdivisions and neighborhoods. It’s a legitimate concern. But it’s dismissed as “bias” by USA Today’s sob story. And, in fact, neither Kazmierczak nor Shareef is even mentioned in the story. Shocker. We can’t let the little people hear the truth. They can’t handle it, and it might make ’em think Muslims don’t exactly have American interests–let alone the interests of the neighborhood–in mind.

Given all this, it’s laughable that Labadi, whose mosque has apparently bred two Islamic terrorists–one who murdered several innocent Americans and another who tried to–wants us to think of him not as a Muslim, but as an American. If only his mosque told congregants to behave that way, rather than the exact opposite. Of course, the usual moronic suspects are bending over and assuming the dhimmi position, including some annoying far-left lesbionic ministatrix, Rev. Stacy Walker-Frontjes, of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (a church which does Lewinskys for Islam but also attacks and boycotts Israel because it’s Jewish). But those in the neighborhood won’t be fooled. They know that there is something strange about a house of worship that does not want to be on a main street in a business district like every other house of worship, but rather wants to pop up and expand like a mushroom in the middle of the neighborhood. Yes, there are some exceptions (like some Jewish campus synagogues), but they do not expand into the neighborhood . . . and don’t breed 2-3 terrorists who plot to blow up Americans.

The thing is, if they succeed in keeping the mosque from its absurd plan of expansion, will the Obama Justice Department step in and take them to court or threaten to? That’s what the Bush Administration did for eight years and the Obama administration did for the last three-plus. And that’s the real problem here. The Muslims know that they have a politically correct Department of Injustice on their side. And they take full advantage of it. Along with taking full advantage of USA Today “reporter” Judy Keen.

I wonder how she’d react if they want to build a giant mosque next door to her . . . a mosque that has already created two bona fide Islamic terrorists.

Of course, we know how she’d react. Liberals are always for this stuff until NIMBY–Not In My Backyard–comes into play for themselves.

Mohammed Labadi has a lot at stake when the DeKalb City Council votes Tuesday on a request from the Islamic Society of Northern Illinois University to build a two-story mosque.

Labadi, a businessman and Islamic Society board member, wants a bigger mosque to replace the small house where local Muslims now worship. He also hopes for affirmation that his neighbors and city officials have no fear of the Muslim community.

Hey, two Islamic terrorists coming out of there already. What’s to fear?

“Don’t look at me just as a Muslim, look at me as an American,” Labadi says. It’s time, he says, “to take the unfortunate stereotypes about Muslims out of the picture.” The zoning commission unanimously approved the plan.

Since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, which were carried out by hijackers from Arab countries, animosity toward Muslims sometimes has taken the form of opposition to construction of mosques and other Islamic facilities.

“Animosity?” Talk about a loaded word. Um, these are legitimate concerns, NOT “animosity.” But leave it to this dhimmi idiot reporter, Judy Keen.

Mosque opponents often raise concerns about traffic and parking, but Daniel Mach, director of the ACLU’s freedom of religion program, says they can be “sham arguments” that mask anti-Muslim sentiment.

“I hope that eventually there will be greater acceptance for all faiths, including Islam,” Mach says.

Hilarious. The ACLU is suddenly concerned about “all faiths.” Problem is, it constantly works against every faith EXCEPT its target for butt-snorkeling, Islam. Um, what about the civil liberty to enjoy your home and property without a gazillion HAMAS supporters crowding your street and waking you up at all hours all of the time?

Some people who object to mosque projects say religion is not a factor. The DuPage County home where Jacqueline Sitkiewicz has lived since 1978 is adjacent to a house the Islamic Center of Western Suburbs (ICWS) hoped to use as a mosque. The county board voted against the plan this month.

Sitkiewicz says her concerns were traffic, drainage and the effect on property values. “I don’t care what their religion is,” she says. “This is a residential area, that’s all of it.” ICWS lawyer Mark Daniel says the group is considering legal action. . . .

Lawyer Marc Grenier represents condo associations that object to plans for a Norwalk, Conn. mosque. The size of the project, parking and the impact on neighboring properties are their chief concerns, he says. “Our opposition … has nothing to do with anyone’s right to worship.”

And here is my favorite part:

Says Othman Atta, the Islamic Society’s executive director, some opponents said the mosque would teach violence and impose Islamic law. “The level of knowledge about Muslims is pretty abysmal,” he says. “People, if they don’t understand something, they tend to fear it.”

Ask Mr. Atta to condemn Hezbollah and HAMAS, and you’ll have a tough time getting a straight answer. And that’s because our level of knowledge about Islam is quite extensive. Um, Mr. Atta, we know a lot about Muslims and Islam. That’s your problem. We understand it quite well. And we have every reason to fear it. 3,000 reasons on 9/11. 12 reasons at Fort Hood. 300 reasons at the U.S. Embassy and Marine Barracks in Beirut.

And many more reasons in videos of Nick Berg, Paul Johnson, and so many thousands of others who were murdered in the name of a religion we understand so very well.

Great catch, Debbie. Thanks for posting these stories about the spread of the cancerous scourge of islam in America.

it’s all reason enough
to by any means available
bring down the structure
destroy the adherents
wipe out their vermin

it’s ok for jews to do this

a mosque is not
a house of religious worship

prestigio on May 29, 2012 at 3:50 pm

Agreed about the headline bias. Also, it sounds like it has potential to violate zoning rules.

Overall, tell Labadi he is allowed to expand when a new synagogue can be built in his home country. Then we can argue about fairness.

Roni on May 29, 2012 at 4:14 pm

Here’s Judy Keene’s sob sentiment, “yadda yadda animosity toward Muslims sometimes has taken the form of opposition to construction of mosques and other Islamic facilities yadda yadda”, oh Ms. Keene, give me a guitar so I can sing the blues for you that you made in that statement. It’s NOT animosity that a good number of us in this country are wary and suspicious of muslims due to their behavior, thinking, motives, etc., these are LEGITIMATE concerns that many of us in this country have towards them, and it’s NOT us being bigoted towards muslims, it’s called “common sense”, something you and you’re ilk of dhimmi’s don’t grasp Ms. Keene!

And we know that the ACLU would chime in and support this proposed mosque in that college community in DeKalb, Illionis. Could you all imagine if it were the other way around, that they wanted to either build a church or synagogue or even a hindu or buddhist temple in that spot or area, people of Judy Keene and her ilk will rail against it and say this bull of BS, “yadda yadda why are you imposing your religious views on other people yadda yadda”, but on this issue with the proposed mosque, these hypocrites and liars say it’s ok and have no problem. To me there nothing but placating cowards!

Even though you have dedicated your life to hate 1.2 billion people on earth, I’ll still help you. I’m EMT and I don’t see color or religion when I save people.

Jalen on May 29, 2012 at 4:28 pm

We don’t hate the 1.2 billion (supposedly)… they are TAUGHT by THEIR “HOLY BOOKS” and preachers to HATE US.

What part of the islamic hadith “The Day [of judgment] will not come until you fight the Jews and KILL THEM” do you not understand? Is it because only, oh say, 10% (the phony number thrown around by the mass media dhimmis) of muslims heed that call? Oh wait… that’s 120,000,000 potential genociders… nothing to see here kids, move along, move along….

SDF on May 29, 2012 at 4:56 pm

Jalen dear you’re not an EMT; you’re a Medicaid fraud beneficiary.

skzion on May 29, 2012 at 7:32 pm

Hey idiot have you read the whole koran in general? And do you ANYTHING about islam and what stands for? It doesn’t mean peace and love, it means “SUBMISSION”!

You see my friend, they (islamists-muslims) are indoctrinated and brainwashed into hating and lying (taqqiya) to us, the infidels, it’s written and explained in many texts in the koran. Oh and BTW, Debbie has a few muslim friends, since she has a few friends who are of the muslim faith, explain to how she hate’s all 1 billion muslims? It doesn’t make any sense, and I don’t hate muslims either buddy, I just hate and loathe the extremists and fanatics amongst them, that is all.

You come near me you nasty filty handed piece of islamic filth and I would kick your teeth out with my dying breath.

Alabama Pride on May 29, 2012 at 11:45 pm

Jalen, I do not see too many Presbyterians or Methodists out stalking, harassing, and killing people at home and abroad. I do not see Hindus, Buddhists, or Jews doing that either. If you see that sort of thing in a newspaper, it is a news even due to its rarity. However, Islam doe do that time and again, whether in Nigeria or Indonesia.

I suggest that the hate comes from you Jalen. You are merely projecting your personal feelings. Also, what race is Islam again? If Islam is racial, how could someone who is not of Arabic descent be a real Muslim? In fact, Islam is quite race conscious, as demonstrated by its attitude towards African Blacks.Of course, Mohammed himself referred to Blacks as “Raisin Heads”. This lovely tradition continues to this day even in places like Dearborn, Michigan. Comments about Blacks made ,in unguarded moments, include references to abeds(black slaves)when referring to Blacks in the United States.

Islam’s followers assume a hectoring and belligerent tone towards their opponents or those who simply disagree. It is an ill concealed superiority complex that puts most people on their guard against it. Islam is a clenched fist to the world around it, whether it is actually in danger(rarely is in modern times) or safe(almost always).

You assume the same tiresome tone that virtually all the other Muslim posters assume when they post here and elsewhere. You and they are unpersuasive to those who are not on your side already. A fist does not persuade, but merely intimidates. How many silent curses arise from mosques around the world five times a day from those who supposedly love Allah so? Even a candid imam will confess that more than a few that are assembled are hypocrites or apostates.

Yes, we remember the Nick Berg video.

I am not sure others do.

Any county government has planning and zoning regulations, which incidentally are approved at the state level (at least in here in Florida) to protect residential neighborhoods and others too from “non-conforming uses” as they refer to them.

If the local governments have the guts they can fight these kinds of developments legitimately using the Land Development Codes. If local governments suck it up and allow this kind of development then more heads will be cut off.

Unknown to most local governments, “we the people” are at war with an enemy within. It is sometimes our local, state and federal governments. Then we must fight against all enemies foreign or domestic.

Over and again I watch videos via youtube regarding debates like, Should we fear Islam?.

Always the host are liberals and favor victims (Muslims) in the audience.

So called experts are via satellite who call people like Nonie Darwish idiots and ignorant and are Islamophobic and the majority of the British, Australian, and American audience applaud personal attacks rather then the issue.

I’d love to watch and hear Debbie spank all those victim Muslim women in the audience who speak of being peaceful, to address those liberal English, Australian & American women who convert to Islam and speak of the beautiful experience as they defend Islam to the host delight while cutting short opposition to Islam.

Debbie, if you are ever on a panel please let us know, it is sickening to watch and listen to the crazy Imans and American professors of Muslim decent attack anyone who questions Islam.

Can somebody find a pig to bury on the property?

joan on May 29, 2012 at 5:49 pm

How about 20 pigs…ok just the GUTS OK….cannot waste good pig meat !!!c

SOMEBODY Convince that neighbor to start the FRIDAY NIGHT PIG BARBEQUE right this week…ah the smell of roast pig on a Friday night…IT would be worth driving all the way from Alabama for the PREMIER PIG NIGHT!!

And they need several BIG BLACK DOGS to patrol the event with sexy dressed gals as handlers.
Gone with the wind…. mosque say bye bye.

Alabama Pride on May 29, 2012 at 11:57 pm

Its not like they can’t request their mosque be constructed in a district zoned specifically for houses of worship.

But Islam ALWAYS demands special treatment. That’s the real problem.

And no one has the courage to do anything about it.

NormanF on May 29, 2012 at 6:00 pm

It is supremacism at its worst Norman. You hear about planning commissions and city councils bothering prayer groups who might stop over at someone’s house a couple of times a week without ostentation or bother. But, a mosque with daily attendance of some or all of its members at least five times a day with a more than audible call to prayer is perfectly alright. Where is the bigotry in this picture?

    Worry01 on May 30, 2012 at 1:10 am

I lived in the Chicago area and was part of a start up church there.
The zoning laws are very strict. If you have meetings in your home too often the authorities will shut you down as a parking nuisance.

But I think the real reason behind their plans are money.
Finding commercial property that would be big enough for even a small mosque with adequate parking spots would easily cost a million dollars in that area (much, much more depending on the exact location) and that isn’t including building or remodeling costs.
So if they can pressure the stupid infidels to bow their wants for fear of being called bigots, hey, that’s money we saved and can sent that money to our brethren overseas to kill more infidels.

If this was a story about a start up Baptist or Presbyterian church wanting to bypass normal zoning laws the Christians would be laughed off the stage.

smg45acp on May 29, 2012 at 6:20 pm

I knew some Christians down SOUTH who had to get special zoning for a church in a residental area. They were unable to do so. Had to buy property which could support the traffic for 300 church members, water run off and so forth. Now they have a two story building with a hall andclass space on 5 acres and and THAT is still not enough for parking. So they wind up parking in a nearby office complex as well with approval ( and a rent payment) for the parking . The offices are closed on weekends so it works.

IMAGINE where will all those goofy islamics park on that small lot???

Ted Bundy looked clean, neat, and decent. He also liked to work on Republican political campaigns. John Wayne Gacy was that nice man who liked to dress up like a clown at events and parties to amuse the children. He was also a big Democratic Party supporter and donor during Jimmy Carter’s tenure. However, even these excellent sociopaths gave off clues about their actual nature for the moderately observant. Muslims too give off a very distinctive aura, even if they may seem superficially alright. When you get the hectoring and belligerent response to a seemingly tame question from a Muslim, you have just discovered what you are actually dealing with. In fairness, Ted and John enjoyed a far greater level of self-control than a typical Muslim possesses.

Spot on Samurai. Pics like that remind me of the Syrian spokesfreak back when 9/11 happened (not that most Americans remember it as they should!). He was also on Fox News alot and he had a sweet cartoony voice. Propaganda matters (If anyone remembers that dude, I’d be interested in their thoughts…)!

We are very far behind what SHOULD have transpired after 9/11. The Mooooslims are stealthily winning. It makes me very angry because we are held under the boot of Political Correctness.

Skunky on May 29, 2012 at 7:11 pm

samurai on May 29, 2012 at 9:06 pm

Oh, I forgot to mention that even thou’ I am kinda shocked why it’s taken so long for Americans to get wise about Islam I think I learned my lesson that it’s gonna be a loooooooong, hard wait.

On my satellite radio this Holiday weekend, I was just about to change the channel to “The Underground Garage” and I hear a repeat of Sean Vannity’s show. He had on Scamela (and she can’t debate like DS! I heard it for myself!!! Not even in the same building!!!) and Sally Kohn and Kohn sounded like a mental-defective. And she is Jewish (they were debating Israel).

So don’t be shy about sticking up for Israel when you’re not Jewish. We are more on their side than the Jews who don’t seem to give a toss about Israel. It’s one of those things I will never understand. Sick and annoying, indeed.

Skunky on May 29, 2012 at 7:19 pm

I’ve been criticized for suggesting, Mosque are meeting places for Jihad.

When the issue comes up regarding the Mosque at ground zero, it is presumed Mosque have been proven to be a place of worship.

However, I suggest around the world, Friday evenings violence picks up against non Muslims.

I don’t see Mosque as an acceptable Religious place anywhere in Western Civilized Societies.

My opinion is that no Mosque should be in America. For any Muslim that practices Islam and lives in the west I consider that Muslim to be an apostate unless they admit as Anjem Choudray in the U.K clearly states, there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, all Muslims that practice Islam must dominate that host country into an Islamic State.

This is why I believe all Muslims in the west consider themselves to be superior to all others. Once we reach 20 million Muslims in America, it will be way too late. Currently I’ve read there are 8 to 10 million now. They deny this of course.

Dannyboy on May 29, 2012 at 8:40 pm

haha well its too bad you can do anything about Muslims and mosques. ughh you guys are pathetic and ignorant fools. if you spent less time hating other people, you would have more time to actually learn the truth.

And you, debbie, the fool who has no life, you are always writing about such negative things. seriously, i think you are ashamed of who you are and where you came from that you keep on hatin on people you don’t know personally. woman i feel bad for the guy who is married to you, if you’re even married, because your heart is black with hate that there is no room for pure love. oh well there have to be some stupid people in this world and some smart ones to keep balance. guess you fall under the category of stupid.

sara on June 1, 2012 at 8:36 am

I understand the constraints that the opponents of this mosque are under, but aside from that, they should not be embarassed to proclaim, let alone admit, that they indeed are against Islam.

Let’s take one of their objections above – property values. As Debbie points out, who wants to have the call to prayer @ 4:30am or 11:30pm? Or the fact that that mosque would be a hub for criminals (which an indeterminable #muslims are)? One wouldn’t want this in their neighborhoods any more than one would want gang headquarters in their neighborhoods either.

I agree w/ Dannyboy above – given how mosques try to be above the law, while shielding jihadis, there should not be any mosques in America, let alone Ground Zero or anywhere else.

Infidel on May 29, 2012 at 10:06 pm

The other thing I forgot to mention above about the muezzin – given the modern day of alarm clocks, phone reminders and so on, there is no justification for having loudspeakers blaring at unearthly hours any call to prayer.

The real point of this practice is Muslim supremacy – such a call would give people the perception that it’s a Muslim neighborhood, and over time, by attracting more Muslim home buyers, it actually would be. Then you’ll have more Dearborns in several states and major cities.

Infidel on May 30, 2012 at 1:34 am

Well would you look at that, that almost completed mosque started on fire accidently, what a crying shame.

Drakken on May 30, 2012 at 7:44 pm

what i dont understand is why you people only take the bad out of a certain culture/religion and you turn a blind eye to the good of it. There are bad jews and good jews, bad christians and good ones. why dont you make a big deal when the jews in Palestine drag innocent children and beat them until they lie lifeless on the ground? is it because they are like you? why do you not emphasize on the VT shooting? try to find a solution for those crimes. Im not saying ignore terrorism but dont OD it. your going way over your heads with this. you keep bringing up 9/11. get the hell over it. something awful happened and its done. you cant change it. you think you can prevent another 9/11 but you are wrong. being the way you are only makes others angry. its like you are asking for someone to hurt you.

FYI: If you look at the teachings of Islam, it clearly states that your neighbor has rights over you. you must not bother your neighbor, you must help your neighbor if they need it, and much more. The prophet Muhammad(pbuh) clearly states in a hadith “Whomever sleeps with his stomach full while his neighbor’s is bare, is not a true Muslim” Clearly if this man was playing the call to prayer loudly, he is very mistaken in what Islam teaches. As i said before, take the religion from the book and dont interpret anything the way you want to. Ask someone who actually knows and practices the religion, someone who can explain it to you without lying or making it what they think it is. do not ask a jew about Islam.

sara on June 1, 2012 at 9:28 am

Once again yous have managed to render me speechless. I’ll try, nonetheless, to spit out some words of /sense/ before I repeatedly bang my head off a wall, for want of better means of expressing my disbelief at your utter stupidity.

First off, let’s get one thing straight; Islam is perfect. I am not. Do not judge my religion over human flaws and errors. Jeez, people aren’t perfect. Also, you don’t see mass hate on Christians because of the KKK or whatever. So just because some ”’genius”’ thought it was a good idea to kill innocent people (which it’s not; if yous had had the balls to actually read the Quran, you’d see that it says if you killed one person it is as if you have killed all of mankind- well that’s not fucking right, now is it?) does not mean that all 1.2 billion of us are waiting around with bombs fucking strapped to our chests, waiting for rush-hour of whateverthefuck these guys do.

Nobody’s going to be waking you up from your precious beauty sleep because they’re practising their religion. Nor are they going to offer your children candy and then shove their religion down their throats. Truth be told, I think everyone’d be greatly relieved if you fucked the fuck off 🙂
Get off your high horse and get a grip on reality; the shit that comes tumbling out your mouth is just that; pure, unadulterated shit, and the fact that you’re poisoning/fuelling the hate in other people is quite sad.

The 1952 McCarran Walters act of 1952 considers islam an enemy of the state and illegal in these United States. This law passed in a veto proof majority and was a democrat idea and has withstood court challenges.

What has to happen now is educating and insisting lawmakers uphold out nations laws and implement McCarran Walters now.
