Mouna Diab: Top Canadian Muslim Civil Rights Activist Caught Gun-Running for Hezbollah

By Debbie Schlussel

Whenever you hear Muslims clamoring for “civil rights,” what they really mean is the “right” to help Islamic terrorists murder lots of innocent people. Mouna Diab is just the latest example of that. A top Canadian Muslim civil rights activist, she’s been caught in a plot where she is Hezbollah’s main Canadian gun moll. It’s just the latest in a string of crimes like this committed by Muslim “civil rights” activists. There are the many HAMAS CAIR activists in prison for terrorism training camps using paintball, funding HAMAS, funding Saddam Hussein, attempted assassinations of world leaders, etc. And there’s the Muslim Bridges TV founder and chief who beheaded his wife at their New York home. Now, there’s Mouna Hezbollah Diab.

A Quebec activist who fought the stereotyping of Muslims was charged with supporting terrorism on Friday after an RCMP investigation linked her to an alleged scheme to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Mouna Diab, 26, was charged with committing a crime “for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in association with a terrorist group,” the RCMP said in a statement. She faces a possible life sentence if convicted.

The Laval woman was arrested at Montreal’s Trudeau airport last year and accused of violating an international arms embargo targeting Lebanon, but police added the far more serious terrorism charge on Friday. . . .

The charge against Ms. Diab followed an investigation called Project Sagittaire by the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team in Quebec. Police alleged she bought firearms parts in the Montreal area to send to Lebanon and that they could be reassembled to build two complete AR-15-type rifles.

“It is alleged that Diab was acting under the direction of a contact person in Lebanon who is associated with Hezbollah,” the RCMP said in a press release. Quebec provincial police and Montreal police were also involved in the investigation.

Firearms parts were found in her luggage at Montreal airport on May 19, 2011. “Based on gathered evidence it is also alleged that she was shipping firearms parts through people in her community traveling to Lebanon. The victims were unaware of the contents of the packages they were carrying for the accused,” the RCMP said.

Unaware? Doubtful. They knew what they were doing, just as she knew what she was doing. They all knew what was in the packages.

Prior to her arrest, Ms. Diab was vice-president of the Association of Young Lebanese Muslims. Her activism was focused partly on changing the stereotypes that too often associate Muslims with terrorism and violence.

Wearing her hijab, she was part of a delegation that traveled to Herouxville, Que., in 2007 after the town passed a code of conduct aimed at immigrants that banned stonings, female genital mutilation and head coverings.

Let’s hear it for Hezbollah’s “civil rights” in the West. Of which they already have far too much. Yup, we need to worry about the rights of those who murdered hundreds of Americans and worked with Al-Qaeda to murder thousands more.

The next time you see a Muslim civil rights activist in your community, ask yourself for which terrorist organization he or she is working.

Just another installment in Your Day in Religion of Peace. Because everyone knows that “peacefulness” involves smuggling weapons to Islamic terrorist groups that murder innocents (like Hezbollah’s bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut and the U.S. Marines who were sleeping in barracks and were in Beirut to protect Muslims from Israel). Or the peacefulness of Hezbollah’s joint operations with Al-Qaeda against Americans in the Khobar Towers and elsewhere.

What else is new?

……………..and the administration, via Mrs. Clinton, is promising huge dollars to the new “Leadership” (The Brotherhood) in Egypt. Gee, I wonder what the $$ will be spent on? It ain’t toothpaste, my friend.

Obambi, Clinton and company are undercutting Iarael at every opportunity. Let’s call the what they are, “Anti-Semitic and anti-American!

I didn’t know “civil rights” involved aiding the enemies of your country and strengthening their ability to wage upon it.

In an earlier time, Mouna Diab and others like her would have received the death penalty. We’re far too soft on those who commit sedition and outright treason.

The story is another reminder Muslims in Canada and America are anything but “moderate” and loyal to the lands to which they have immigrated.

Multiculturalism is working out so well that Mouna Diab felt no qualms in betraying Canada on behalf of Hezbollah. Just your Day in the Religion Of Peace and Peaceableness.

Debbie I agree, practically all local level Muslim activists are working with terrorist groups. Should we tell the Feds?

“A Quebec activist who fought the stereotyping of Muslims was charged with supporting terrorism on Friday after an RCMP investigation linked her to an alleged scheme to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon.”
In your face with the colossal contradiction.
Actions speak oh so much louder than shouting to the contrary.

Can someone translate this racist Dune Coon’s comment into English!?! While in Jerusalem 2008 & 2009 I had a leather jacket, iPhone and money stolen by a scumbag named Haed AbuDiab. He came from a terror supporting Activist family from East Jerusalem. He eventually came into the same bar where he stole my things (3 months later) and I wound up beating him half to death. I wonder if this terrorist’s Diab family is related!?!

How can you say that all Muslims fighting for civil rights are out to help Islamic terrorists? A bad apple from a tree does not poison the whole tree, people should twice before reading this article. After looking over this whole website, its sad that Debbie has such a strong biased and hatred towards Islam. I am a Muslim Canadian and I am proud to be one. My parents came to this country to give me a better life and I appreciate that, its sad that our image is ruined by a few bad apples and biased news articles.
