Gay People Are Confusing Me With All These Multi-Sexual Names & Acronyms

By Debbie Schlussel

I’m all for tolerance and I believe in “live and let live” no matter the identity of who you are sleeping with (unless it’s animals or kids). Just keep it out of my face. But I’m getting a little confused by gay people and their lobby. Not only are they usurping a good deal of the alphabet, but I’m not sure which term I’m supposed to use to be, you know, up to snuff on the currently politically correct acronym. I think I need RuPaul and company to give me a tutorial.

I thought they referred to themselves as LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transsexual . . . or maybe Transvestite). But the Wall Street Journal, in a recent story about gay and tranny illegal aliens getting Obama-preferred immigration status, used the acronym LGBTI (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transsexual Intersex). I think Intersex is for someone with both genders’ sexual organs, like Brad Pitt or Sheryl Sandberg’s mangina-endowed “husband”. Or pre-op transsexual or something.

But, then, I saw an article by this politically correct completely phony Christian minister who until recently pandered to extremist Muslims as Michigan Republican Gov. Rick Snyder’s “civil rights” director. And in a pretentious article, he fawned over LGBTQ. I questioned what this Q was all about and I learned that it means “Questioning.” (Or it can also mean Queer, which I thought was an epithet for gay.) Was this pretentious faux-Christian minister, Steve Spreitzer, dissing the Intersex in favor of the Questioning? Is he prejudiced and a bigot against the Intersex in favor of the much more powerful, but just as ambiguous Questioning? Shouldn’t he be fired for that sort of intolerance and bigotry? And if you are actually inclusive and as obsessed with sexual diversity as our world demands, then do you use the term LGBTQI or LGBTIQ – or is that latter acronym insulting someone’s intelligence by implying you have the IQ or LGBT? These sexual acronymist activists aren’t even sure since they use both LGBTQI and LGBTIQ.

I’m very confused but not Confused. OY, now they’ll take the letter “C” away, too. They’ve already taken A for “Asexual” (but can also be “Androgynous”–how do you know which one is correct?) and U for “Undecided” and call themselves QUILTBAG. Some use A as “Ally” and use LGBTQIA. And I forgot the others who use LGBTQIAPD–with the P for “Pansexual” and D for “Demisexual.” (Not sure what those are OR if I ever wanna find out.) Hmmm . . . the Sexual Political Correctness Acronym Tribunal (that’s SPCAT) needs to meet up to get this straight. Er . . . that doesn’t mean Straight straight by the way, and I’m sure my use of that word was insensitive. All this begs the question, when we will begin hearing the whining about discrimination against Asexual rights or Undecideds? Just askin’. Regardless, they’ve taken on so many letters that, soon, it will be like that Hawaiian lady who sued to get her way-too-long surname on a driver’s license. And Pat Sajak and Vanna won’t have much left to work with. The gay Soup Nazi says, “No Alphabet Soup Left for You!”

Given all this, I wondered what letters of the alphabet are left for us straight people. After all, I don’t think the term LGBTQI covers it sufficiently. There should be an SD for Sexually Different or, is that, Sexually Diverse? That brings us to LGBTQISD. And there should be an NMBNYFC for Neutered Male But Not Yet Fully Castrated. We have one of those in the White House. And, speaking of politics, shouldn’t there be a PFBSGMOSMDC (“Politically Female But Still Genetically Male Or So My Doctor Claims”)? That’s like most of the men in the Democratic Party. Definitely the ones in Congress. And don’t forget the MWLCBITASD (Men Who Like Cats But Insist They Are Straight Dudes).

Oh, and there are also some other sexuals I would add: glycosexual, ambisexual, ambidextrisexual, multidextrisexual, multisexual, trisexual, trysexual, hyposexual, polysexual, antidisestablishmentarisexual, perimenosexual, TheViewopausexual, and Aljazeerasexual. I don’t know what any of these mean, but, then, I don’t know what most of the others made up by the gay lobby mean either. I’ve also been told that I am no longer allowed to just say that I’m a normal heterosexual female. I am now required to describe myself as a cisexual female, apparently. Huh?

Then there are the pictures. Gays now own the rainbow. Judy Garland and the Wizard were long ago evicted. And a whole lot of other color combinations are now off limits. (See the color schemes below and make sure you wear the appropriate striped tie or polo shirt. Whatever happened to the good old days when all you had to do was look at the colors of The Village People?) And, I’ve come to learn–thanks to Barbara Walters (see, I knew she would one day be of some base utility to humanity)–that the Ts, Qs, and Is (or maybe just the Ts) have usurped the mermaid because it has no genitalia. And I was wondering what is left for little girls now that rainbows and mermaids are off the market. Unicorns are about to be taken off the market (I’ll leave it up to you as to who gets them – but it might be Janet Napolitano), and word has it that RuPaul is cornering all stock of bows and hearts. There ain’t much left.

Anyway, someone needs to invent a new English alphabet, because with the letters LGBT, Q, and I already now off the market, by the time you finish reading this, there isn’t gonna be much left.

And I say that as a red-blooded heterosexual who is questioning this silliness but not Questioning. See, now, words are off the market, too. Damn.

Oh, and one last thing: unlike in America and Israel, gays and lesbians and all of their incarnations don’t have the luxury of the silliness of inventing endless acronyms and names of sexual variants. They just have one letter for open gays, lesbians, and transsexuals: D . . . as in Deadsexual.

Not Sure What to Call ‘Em . . .

this is a big week for me… the first post, two days in a row!

anyway, the letter(s) for us straight sexual folk- you know, the people who have been fruitful and multiplied- is NRML. yes, it’s more letters than usual but it also identifies the absence of mental illness.

mutliversexual – infinite sexual orientations throughout the multiverse.

kirche61 on July 22, 2014 at 3:25 pm

I see that never ending mix of letters as a product of the Left’s social engineering, because if you can control the language, you’re automatically winning the debate. You can ser that in other topics like abortion, which now is debated either as “choice” or “reproductive rights.” Mixing up letters or creating a new dictionary out of thin air is an importante weapon for the Left.

And meanwhile, the FAA has banned flights originating in the US from flying to Israel. So has Canada and many foreign airlines. ELAL will continue to fly. This is bad for us economically but a rocket hit very near the airport today and whatever their true motives may be, the result is right because it cold very well save lives. Iron Dome is not 100%. Most European airlines have followed suit and Germany is burning with rioters shouting “Jews into the ovens” and the like, and a replay of Kristallnacht.

this is an intentional and hurtful punch in the gut for Israel..missile fired by hamas….and again , Israel punished…hamas wins this one

HK on July 22, 2014 at 5:45 pm

We’ve decided to use Uvda Airport which is near Eilat. They won’t say it but I suspect this means using Egyptian air space otherwise it doesn’t make sense. Actually, I think they will just aim their rockets there because a couple have reached Eilat so they can.

HK, this is a tough spot for us because God Forbid a plane got hit at BG or the terminal as it was full of passengers coming or going. Not only would there be howls of protest such as we’ve not heard before, that blood would be on our hands as much as Hamas’. It is a core Jewish principle to protect and save lives no matter the cost. The loss of revenue is nothing compared to that of a plane load of souls.

Meira on July 23, 2014 at 6:39 am

And I’m fully aware that World motive is probably nefariously against Israel but this is one of those situations that Christians refer to as “what hasten meant for evil, is turned to good.” Protecting life is the highest good we can do. In this case, most of the lives would be innocent.

Meira on July 23, 2014 at 6:41 am

@Meira….if it was any other country or entity theUS, EU, NATO ,Russia and China would declare an immediate halt TO THE FIRING OF MISSILES , they would loudly go after the perpetraters, the missile launchers. The whole world gives hamas a pass. the world has gone mad, once again. Israel should now escalate their attacks even more.

HK on July 23, 2014 at 8:32 am

HK, they know it’s hopeless. The morons ask for a cease fire for humanitarian purposes TWO HOURS, and they can’t last HALF an HOUR. It’s still saving lives to not risk it, regardless of the motives. We discovered they are using Wafa Hospital as a munitions storage facility so we made the hard decision to bomb. We gave orders for civilians to evac but even if they didn’t, we went in and bombed and are continuing to do so. Then when we were set to bomb another building, we gave notice again and instead of evacuating, they went up on the roof.
We’re taking care of business but we are also conscious of protecting the TRUE innocent civilians.

Not too long after I posted earlier, we had 3 sirens in my town and 2 rockets intercepted almost directly over our heads. BTW, how does this affect your plans, HK?

Meira on July 23, 2014 at 9:13 am

we rescheduled from the 14th to 28th , Air France allowed one time free re-book, wives arent going, as of now, that is the plan..Israel is forced to respond with one arm tied behind its back and lambs wool glove on its free hand….best that Israel find and destroy those missiles before UNRWA finds them, they’ll just hand them over to hamas barbarians….tiny Israel is essentially at war with Iran,ISIS, hizbullah, 1.8 BILLION muslims and every anti semitic Jew hating bastard that has been crawling out from under the rocks…schools, hospitals, mosques all are fair game, after the war, I believe that the world will readjust and be able to clearly delineate that there was a right and there was a wrong…I hope so

HK on July 23, 2014 at 10:16 am

Just read in the NYDN that the FAA lifted it’s ban.

Oh, this isn’t a problem at all. When they finish with the 26-letter alphabet they can always go to the Spanish alphabet or to Ebonics. Can’t forget Arabic.

Little Al on July 22, 2014 at 5:57 pm

The LBGT community has about as much chance of colonizing Arabic as the Dodo bird had of colonizing South America Little Al.

The mark of a really inferior intellect — using trite, overworn idioms to try to give your comments more weight. Tired as your rhetoric is, it is not as tired as your intellect, which has not been awake for a very long time, if ever.

It is partially because of fools like you that the conservative movement is so ineffective.

Little Al on July 23, 2014 at 1:37 pm

ONE word for them all: unnatural.

How about cutting the confusion and just make it one word?

Michelle on July 22, 2014 at 7:39 pm

Yes it is getting confusing. I cut through all the fog and just call them “pervs.” Short and simple.

rat boy on July 22, 2014 at 8:04 pm

Uhhhhhh, Debbie, I know you were around when Facebook came out with their list of gender definitions. Great blog, as usual, and hilarious, as usual, that is, when you’re looking to be hilarious, but I know you saw that a few months ago. Some folks came up with at least 58, but others came up with around 159. Anyway, please don’t forget “gender neutral” and “gender queer,” along with at least 56 others.

Oh, one more thing. What’s with this thing that you and some other folks have with straight guys who like cats? I had cats for 37 out of the 42 years between ages 10 and 52. Yes, I’m straight. Anyone have any idea how fierce cats can be? Especially females? If you think there’s something “gay” about keeping cats, try handling a six pound female who’s just had a cat brain blowout. LOL!!!

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on July 22, 2014 at 10:20 pm

Fredo, my husband loves cats. Debbie, I think, doesn’t like them at all and she has said some pretty negative things about women who like them too. She’s always talking about “cat ladies” in a negative way. To her, we’re all elderly, repressed, spinsters with no lives outside our cats. I’m sure she’d think I’m nuts if I relate the story of how I just saved mine from a misdiagnosis of epilepsy by doing a chiropractic adjustment on him but if you saw the film before and after, you wouldn’t think so. He apparently fell off an armoire. All I know is we came home to a cat having a seizure but I know what epilepsy looks like. They return to normal in between seizures. He didn’t. So enough said.

Meira on July 23, 2014 at 6:47 am

Very interesting, Meira. I learned about chiropractic for cats and dogs a few years ago. I did not follow it, but it seemed like perhaps a good idea, but then again, a bit scary. While I have been in treatment for nearly 35 years, and am a stalwart supporter of the value of chiropractic care for humans, I was a bit leery of hearing it being used on cats and dogs.

So, as someone who remained ignorant of the field, it sounds like you had great success. And I’m glad you knew now to do it. Do you have any general knowledge or information as to how it’s working out with cats and dogs at large?

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on July 23, 2014 at 9:52 am

Fredo, don’t be afraid. a vertebra is a vertebra. The only thing I would not attempt is an “atlas” joint adjustment. Even in humans it takes a delicate touch. Just work gently with the kitty. I am a kinetic learner so after much chiropractic treatment of myself, and knowing what a cat spine looks like, no problem. I have had cats all my life and I have a very strong bond with this little doggie I got 3 years ago that I wasn’t even looking for. She’s not as sanguine about chiropractic but I still work her hip a bit. I seem to have missed my calling as a healer. When I went back to college in 2001, I should have gone to a naturopathic school instead of taking an art/history double. I seem to have a healing touch and intuitive understanding. I’ve had great success with homeopathy with both animals. It definitely helped the cat, before I started the manipulations.
Many years ago, I had a cat that needed a bite lanced and couldn’t afford a vet. I sterilized my xacto knife and did it myself. He was fine.

Meira on July 24, 2014 at 3:39 am

I have 3 cats. And one dog. I ain’t gay. Don’t get it either.

    Occam's Tool on July 24, 2014 at 2:22 am

With all due respect to some of you folks here, but I think some of you need to do some basic research on homosexuality, that’s related to “science 101”, and NO correlations to sexuality. Homosexuality is caused by mechanical catalysts called “epigenetics”, and it’s also discovered in x-amounts of animals in the animal kingdom in about 5,000 species per-capita!

Sean R. on July 22, 2014 at 10:44 pm

Sean R., what is it that causes the phenomenon known as “gender fluid?” LOL!!!

By the way, your last sentence makes me think that perhaps you saw that episode of Talk Soup with the two gorillas in the 69 position?

Seriously, I’m aware of the things you stated in your post, and more. Science, indeed. Science is everywhere, indeed.

Some day God will come, and wipe away every tear.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on July 22, 2014 at 11:03 pm

Actually, Debbie, as you know I am a board certified psychiatrist. The last time I checked out all those terms my head hurt. (CME course.) Interestingly, outside of those heavily populated gay areas, you don’t really see this in most psychiatric hospital admissions.

But I will tell you that with my transsexual psychiatric patients that I have worked with (about 6 or 7, as my practice areas have been overwhelmingly rural) the transexual aspect was just the icing on the cake of the illness.

Occam's Tool on July 23, 2014 at 12:50 am

I think this is one aspect of Newspeak even George Orwell didn’t see coming!

What letters are used to denote those who seek pregnancy counseling who do not identify themselves as women?

Oh, and I have to congratulate all the sleuths on this site, with their superb reading comprehension skills, who have unearthed the fact that I am really a liberal.

I’m left wondering if “QUILTBAG” is a real acronym.

So many “issues” demanding their own letters.

skzion on July 23, 2014 at 10:45 am

I think that most people today are like “I don’t care who you love, sleep with, or live with but don’t shove it in my face”. Gays haven’t been discriminated against in decades except for rare cases in rural areas.
That’s what the “Gay Rights” groups wanted and got. But now, that’s not enough. What they TRULY want is to destroy all morality. Have you noticed it’s NEVER enough with them. Gays are now accepted, then BIs, now Transgenders. Now Bigamists and child molesters with the Nambla gang are coming out and want to be accepted.
This are all signs of how decadent our society is. Ancient Greece and Rome got like this–where are they now and what happened to them ??
There have always been gays and there always will be but for most of history they kept their activities low key and people laughed at “dandys”. For example in the Maltese Falcon Joel Cairo is a “dandy” as is the Fatman and his “gunsel”. Even, 75 years ago people knew all about that but the vast majority of people were straight and had families.

Personally gay folks who live mostly moral lives and are long term couples do not bother me or most people in the least. The problem is that the “Gay Rights Movement” is TOO accepting of every degenerate under the sun and my question is “when is enough enough” ??

jimmyPx on July 23, 2014 at 10:51 am

Also those who do it with animals and I’m not talking about Muslims and their goats. There’ve been a flurry of stories of people who’ve had “encounters” with animals like dolphins and several arrests of people caught doing it, not to mention that execrable creature from “The View” with her poor cat.

Meira on July 24, 2014 at 3:44 am

Sick of them all! Let the Muslims take them!
