Yesterday, the civil trial against Sudan, brought by relatives of 17 victims of the terrorist bombing attack on the U.S.S. Cole, began.
After much legal maneuvering, the government of Sudan–long a welcoming sponsor of Islamic terrorism, even against its own people–will finally face justice, hopefully. The families are seeking $105 million in damages.

“Sudan’s material support … including continuous flow of funding, money, weapons, logistical support, diplomatic passports and religious blessing, was crucial in enabling the attack on the USS Cole,” lawyers for the families said in court papers outlining their case.

“These 17 sailors were murdered,” said Louge Gunn, who testified about how he had contemplated killing himself after his 22-year-old son’s death.
“I dropped the phone. I went into a panic,” Gunn testified. “I fell to the floor on my knees. It was the most devastating thing that had ever happened to me. I felt like somebody had put their hand in the inside of my body and pulled my skin out.”
The families’ lawyers intend to prove that Sudan has given safe haven to Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaida terrorist network since 1991 – long before Yemeni operatives blasted a 40-foot-hole in the side of the Cole in Yemen’s port of Aden on Oct. 12, 2000.

Winning a judgment against Sudan is one thing. Collecting it will be another. If the suit is victorious, it will remain to be seen whether the Bush Administration and the future Rodham Cankles White House will allow the families to collect. Both the Mr. Cankles and Bush Administrations have blocked various terror-victim families from collecting money judgments from the Government of Iran.
Most well-known is the case of my friend, Stephen Flatow of New Jersey, father of Islamic Jihad victim Alisa Flatow. Both Administrations fought him in his efforts to collect money judgments he won against Iran.
This is one of those rare, worthy Plaintiff’s lawsuits where I say: Sic’ em, lawyers.

China is gearing up for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. And you know what that means: A makeover. The Chi-Coms don’t wnat you to see the slavery, the lack of human rights, the awful results of communism. So, they’re redoing their country top to bottom for the three weeks that everyone will be watching.
It’s all cosmetic, though.
Several news agencies report that China is even changing its menu. They don’t want us to think China features weird food, so Xu Hongzhi, Deputy to the National People’s Congress and President of Peking University is insisting that China remove certain “delicacies” from all menus:

China should take all shark fin dishes off the menu for foreign visitors before the 2008 Olympic Games, a lawmaker said on Tuesday.

Officials in China traditionally honour distinguished guests with huge banquets climaxing with rare or exotic dishes featuring such delicacies as bear’s paw, swallow’s nest, monkey brains as well as the famous soup made from shark fin.
Xu Hongzhi, deputy to the National People’s Congress and president of the prestigious Peking University, said such menu items might upset foreign guests.
“Serving shark fin to foreign guests during the Olympic Games could greatly hurt China’s national image and officials should start to remove the dish from the dining table right now,” he told state Xinhua news agency.
Xu said China should also stay away from dishes using other species of wildlife such as snake during the Games.
“It’s not only an environmental issue, but one that has a direct bearing on the image of Chinese people,” he said.

So, they’re changing the menus in China for when all the world is watching. What else will they be changing (temporarily) to fool international guests about the real China? Remember, all of these changes are cosmetic–smoke and mirrors stuff to hide the ravages of Communist totalitarianism.

Expect NBC to give you a very sanitized version of China in its Olympic coverage. And perhaps expect peanut-butter-and-jelly and sloppy Joes on the fake–and temporary–menu.

Amy M. Berner of Berkley, Michigan is suing an auto dealer, claiming it took advantage of her bipolar mental condition and “impulsivity and difficulty in decision making” when it sold her a $32,000 car after she went in for an oil change.
If she’s that mentally incompetent, perhaps she should have a guardian and not be trusted with any regular functions of life, like getting oil changes.

For two days now, The Detroit Newsistan has been covering a story we’ve seen all over television news here in Detroit.
The story is about the body of Daniella Erica Munoz. The 26-year-old Detroiter was found dead in the trunk of a 1970s black Chevrolet Caprice Classic. Also found: a .45 valiber handgun believed to have been used to execute her (she died of a single gun-shot wound to the neck). The car was parked for days at A&H Express Lube in Redford Township (right near Muslim-occupied hamlets of Dearbornistan Heights and Dearbornistan).

Honor-Killed by Muslim Boyfriend Who Fled to Lebanon
The only difference in coverage of this story by The Detroit Newsistan and the rest of the Detroit media is that for the last three days, TV reports and the Detroit Free Press have told us the name of the main suspect in Munoz’s murder, Ali Hourany–her Lebanese Shia Muslim boyfriend. Hourany fled the U.S. to Beirut, Lebanon to escape charges.
Munoz’s family members say that she was going to break her relationship off with Hourany, whose physical abuse of her she detailed in her journal. She told family members that if she ever disappeared, they should check Hourany’s Dearbornistan Heights home or his family-owned business, A&H Express Lube, where he worked as an auto mechanic. That’s where her body was found. (Watch the video from Detroit’s Local 4 News.)
On this site, I’ve detailed so very many honor-killings suffered by both men and women in the Detroit area at the hands of members of the “Religion of Peace.” This is just the latest. And it’s hardly shocking that this regular practice of murdering those who’ve brought you “shame” continues, at the hands of our “peaceful” Muslim citizens.
I’ve also detailed so very many stories where the Muslim perpetrator of various crimes flees to Lebanon or elsewhere in the Middle East. As the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services continues to blindly rubber-stamp more Muslim applications for U.S. citizenship, expect the number of honor-killings to increase. And the number of fugitives fleeing justice and heading to the Mid-East to also go up.
While this story is just the latest in many Muslim honor-killings in America, what is also not surprising is The Detroit Newsistan’s cover-up “coverage” of this story, both yesterday and today. In both stories (here and here), the News won’t report on the suspect’s name, Ali Hourany (yet the paper always names non-Muslim White suspects). Why is that?
When it comes to Muslims the Newsistan has a different standard for “reporting.” The paper prefers to protect us from “the public’s right to know” which it’s always invoking, but doesn’t actually believe in.

I’ve already written about . Hint: It’s the religion that claims to embody “peace.” Now Target is even more complaint with strict Islamic law (Shariah) to your detriment.
So, you’re hungry on the way home from work or have just picked up your hungry kids from school. You decide during your stop at Target to buy a frozen pepperoni pizza for yourself and your kids for dinner. You wait in a long check-out line at the busy Target (it’s right after school and work and prime shopping time). But when you finally get to the cashier, she won’t ring you up. Why? Well, hey, pepperoni has ham in it. And that’s forbidden under Islamic law. And the cashier, a Muslim, refuses to even touch the completely sealed, packaged frozen pizza.

That’s what’s happening now at Target. And Target is sanctioning this absurd behavior for Muslim cashiers and employees. I suggest you boycott Target, or it will get worse. Today, they’ll refuse you because of a food item that contains pig ingredients. Tomorrow, you’ll be refused for dressing immodestly, if you are a woman (because your hair is uncovered).
Sound farfetched? Well, it’s coming real soon. Yesterday, you might have thought it farfetched that you’d be refused a ring-up due to products which include pig ingredients.
I hope Target isn’t planning on having any of those Isaac Mizrahi or Mossimo shoes and boots made from the cheaper pig-suede. Or that, too, will be a problem for the Target cashiers. In fact, some Mizrahi winter clothes are made of pigskin. Perhaps Target can have shariah-designated lanes with a crescent above them. After all, we need to cater to the “Religion of Peace” at the cost of doing business with the rest of America’s customers.
For the record, keeping kosher, I do not eat products from a pig. And the dietary laws of religious Jews are far stricter than halal diets for Muslims. But if I had this absurd restriction of not being allowed to touch a package that contained tiny elements of pork inside it (and I don’t have that problem), I wouldn’t take the job as a cashier at Target.
Target should not be bend for shariah. Shariah should bend for America. And since Target doesn’t get that, it’s time to send Target a message it will get: DON’T SHOP THERE.
Gee, what’s next? Will Target get rid of its dog mascot? After all, the same Muslims in Minneapolis that won’t touch the sealed pizza package, despise dogs as “unIslamic” and “unclean.”

Do they give to telethons over Kuwaiti airwaves that raise money for “the martyrs” in “Palestine”? Who knows. And there’s really no way to find out for sure.
So, to those wealthy individuals reading this site, don’t plan on buying an Aston Martin (starting price, $110,000). You have no idea where the profits are going. Aston Martin is no longer just James Bond’s ride. For now, it’s Islamist occupied territory.

Well, for once, I agree with Islamist Iranians and their Kramer-jacketed leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Sort of.
They’re upset with the portrayal of Persians in the movie, “,” claiming it insults Persian civilization. I’m not upset with that. But, as I wrote in , I do agree that the portrayal of of Xerxes as a transvestite bizarro is inaccurate. Ditto for the portrayal of ancient Xerxian Persians (who were NOT Muslims) as freaks and weirdoes.
But, then, there are the Muslim Iranians of today. They are, indeed, effeminate girlie-men and freaks and weirdoes. During a TIME Magazine interview, , that he’s a metrosexual and a girlie-man is pretty much established fact.
So, what was the problem, again?

Actually, the biggest insult is that today’s Islamist Iranians actually think they have any real connection–any resemblance at all–to ancient Persian civilization. After all, that would also assume that, today, they’re civilized.
U.S. hostages for 444 days in 1979-1981 can attest otherwise. Ditto for far too many others.
And ancient Persians were not Muslims. They bore no resemblance to and have nothing to do with the Iranians that live there, today. Not at all.
