Trolley Square Terrorist Chutzpah: Newspaper Asks for Donations; Relative Sent Anthrax Threat

By
More chutzpah in reporting and NON-reporting on the Muslim Trolley Square Terrorist, . Yesterday, cops absurdly , but today:
Reader Kendalee passes on news that The Deseret Morning News–which ripped myself and other bloggers for pointing out Talovic’s religion, ISLAM–is sympathetically noting that the Talovic family needs donations to BURY THEIR TERRORIST SON in Bosnia! Can you imagine The New York Times writing a sympathetic piece about how Mohammed Atta’s family needs money to fly him for burial in Egypt?
Hello . . .? This man murdered five Americans and seriously injured 5 more, including a pregnant woman. And they are hinting to us to help donate money for his burial?! WHAT ABOUT THE BURIAL OF HIS FIVE VICTIMS whose crime was buying Valentine’s Day cards?

Muslim Trolley Square Terrorist Sulejman Talovic

Then, there is the issue of an apparent cousin of Talovic, Amir Omerovic, who was convicted of sending a jihadist note to then-Governor John Rowland of Connecticut. In most press accounts, Ajka Omerovic is noted as Trolley Square terrorist murderer Talovic’s aunt. And the Omerovic clan is well-known in the fighting of Muslims against Bosnian Serbs in Srebrenica. One of them who also emigrated here was Amir Omerovic, apparently a cousin of Talovic.
Terrorism expert and investigator Bill Warner points out that, in March 2002, Amir Omerovic was convicted of mailing the jihadist death threat to Rowland. From the March 5, 2002 New York Times account:

A man pleaded guilty yesterday to mailing letters falsely threatening to infect their recipients with anthrax. The defendant, Amir Omerovic, a 28-year-old naturalized citizen from Bosnia now living in Derby, admitted in Federal District Court that in late October he sent such letters to the offices of Gov. John G. Rowland, the United States Coast Guard and Marines in Connecticut, and the Judicial Review Council in Hartford.
John A. Danaher III, the United States attorney, said that Mr. Omerovic, who faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, is to be sentenced on May 17.
Prosecutors said the letters contained a note that read: 09.11.01. Anthrax is deadly. You breathe and die. This is only the beginning. Americans will die. Death to America and Israel.

I’d say not-so-great Muslim terrorist cousins’ minds think alike.

Venga a Michigan: State of Michigan Urges Illegal Aliens to Come on Over

By
Governors, like California’s Arnold Schwarzenegger, who won’t get tough on illegal aliens are bad enough.
But then there are governors like Michigan’s Jennifer Granholm a/k/a “The Governatrix Gran-HO” (along with Schwarzenegger, she’s the nation’s other Dating Game contestant governor). She’s welcoming illegal aliens and urging them to come to Michigan.
No lie.

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm

& Extremist Muslim Imam Hassan Qazwini

State officials are trying to lure more migrant farm workers to Michigan to avoid labor shortages, which they say hurt the last harvest by the state’s agriculture industry. To address the “problem,” the State of Michigan is spending tax money on a marketing pitch: “Venga a Michigan” (Spanish for “Come to Michigan”).
And State of Michigan officials visited Texas, last week, to invite unemployed Hispanic illegal aliens there to come here to Michigan to find work.
And by the way, the State of Michigan consulted with illegal alien interest groups on how to best market Michigan’s state-funded “social services”:

The goal was “to promote Michigan agriculture and the various services available,” Rick Olivarez, a state monitor advocate, said during a meeting this week of the Michigan Interagency Migrant Services Committee.

At the same time, The Governatrix Gran-HO is proposing a 2% service tax to pay for state services. Since we don’t pay enough to pay for illegal aliens using these services, she’s spending our money to invite more.
Strangely, none of this was in the two major Detroit papers. I had to read about it in a tiny, micro-print blurb on the back pages of USA Today.

Weekend Box Office: Well Done “Breach,” But Film Focuses Too Much on Hanssen’s Catholicism

By

I disapprove of women in pants suits. . . . The world doesn’t need any more Hillary Clintons.

Because movie studio reps held only one screening, each, of “Breach” and “Ghost Rider,” both of them at the same time, I was unable to review both, so I chose “Breach,” because the topic–the investigation of and arrest of the FBI’s most infamous double agent, Robert Hanssen, interested me more than Nicholas Cage playing a comic book hero. I was also unable to review, “The Bridge to Terabithia,” because its screening was held on Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath. (It’s too bad because I liked that book as a kid.)
That said, I chose well. I liked “Breach” a lot. Though the story has been said and done before–in many books and a TV movie–this one is different.

Told from the point of view of Hanssen’s FBI assistant, Eric O’Neill (played well by Ryan Phillippe), “Breach” juxtaposes the good but not fanatical O’Neill with the hypocritical spy agent (Hanssen is played very believably by the scary Chris Cooper).
The movie, written by the real-life O’Neill, tells the story of how O’Neill an FBI surveillance unit analyst (who badly wants to become an FBI agent) is assigned to become O’Neill’s assistant and spy on him. O’Neill says he changed parts of the movie from the real-life version. For example, he knew all along that Hanssen was a spy and double agent. In the movie, that’s not the case. He doesn’t initially know why he’s spying on this bitter, but kindly man he grows to like. (Read the interesting article by Detroit Free Press film critic Terry Lawson on the real-life O’Neill and the changes in the movie from the real story.)
The movie is dark, suspenseful, and exciting without any blood or gore. (There is only one tiny sex scene on grainy video and no swearing.) You are entertained and on the edge of your seat the whole time, even though you know the ending of the true story on which it is based. This is what a thriller is supposed to be like. And it works.
My one reservation–a major reservation–with this movie is the repeated hammering of the viewer on the Catholicism issue.
Both O’Neill and Hanssen are Catholics, and the movie plays this angle up, big-time–the good “lapsed” Catholic agent-in-training vs. the evil religous Catholic. Respecting religious Catholics as I do, that is the most troubling part of this movie. Yes, Hanssen was a very devout, Opus Dei Catholic. But there are plenty of Catholics populating the FBI, and none of whom (except Hanssen) betrayed the country.

Ryan Phillippe and Chris Cooper in “Breach”

I wait for the day when a movie about the various disloyal Muslim FBI agents (like Gamal-Abdel Hafiz) and soldiers (a list too long to mention here) focuses on their religious hypocrisy. There are far more of them than there are Catholic versions of Hanssen.
And unlike Hanssen, they betray America in the name of Islam. Hanssen betrayed America for money, because he was disgruntled at not being appreciated or recognized by FBI higher-ups, and because he wanted to prove his complaints about holes in the system vulnerable to spying. None of those reasons are excusable. But none of them have a thing to do with Catholicism.
And I could have done without the one political crack at Kenneth Starr and the investigation of Bill Clinton, but there was also a great line for the rest of us–the best line of the movie, bar none, uttered by Hanssen:

I disapprove of women in pants suits. Men wear pants suits. The world doesn’t need any more Hillary Clintons.

Since gauche liberals in the audience hissed at the scene showing the changing of photos on the halls of the FBI building from Clinton/Reno to Bush/Ashcroft, I clapped loudly at that line about Hillary and pants suits. (For the record, I have pants suits, but a lot of skirt-suits–which I prefer–too.)

1st The Saudis, Now the Chi-Coms: The ICE Princess’ Patrons & Your Immigration Tax $$$s

By
Dinosaur eggs for the Chi-Coms and Gold Coins for Saudi patrons of 9/11 hijackers.
Well, it’s good to know that our immigration enforcement tax dollars are going to “good” use . . . to pounce on dinosaur eggs on behalf of Communist China.
Almost a year ago, I told you how Julie L. Myers, Chieftess of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a/k/a “The ICE Princess” wasted countless hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars on –and, of course, giving them to the Saudi government. It isn’t clear whether or not the coins were even found in Saudi waters, and even if they were, they were from a day and time thousands of years before there even was a Saudi Arabia.

Coins for Saudis, Dinosaur Eggs for Chi-Coms:

Your ICE Tax Dollars At Work

But our tax dollars–meant for enforcing immigration laws and customs laws against terrorist arms smugglers and money launderers–went to help the Saudis. And The ICE Princess basked in the glow of praise from then-Saudi Ambassador and personal friend of Osama Bin Laden, Prince Turki Al-Faisal. How proud she was to hang with and be gushed over by the enemy.
Now, The ICE Princess has a new enemy friend, for whom she’s wasted yet more of our tax dollars: Communist China. ICE agents in Los Angeles–because there are no pressing immigration and smuggling problems in Southern California!–wasted time and effort to seize fossilized dinosaur eggs that may have been improperly taken from China, despite being LEGALLY bought by an American collector in 2003 (China objects to the fact that the eggs are not on display in China, instead of America). The ICE Press Release conveniently omits the part about the American collector who is now out several hundred thousand dollars. (They found out about the eggs by reading of the auction in a USA Today article.)
This is absurd.
Even if the eggs were brought here illegally, why are we wasting ICE money on this? We have millions of illegal aliens crawling all over our country. There are plenty of Muslim money launderers, sham marriage ring operators, and weapons smugglers.
And amidst it all, The ICE Princess is wasting our tax money to help the Chinese get some dinosaur eggs.
First, the Saudis get some gold coins. Then, the Chinese get dinosaur eggs.
Your tax dollars at work.
Robert Schoch, the ICE Special Agent in Charge for Los Angeles, compares the story of the dinosaur eggs and the investigtion to a “plot twist in an Indiana Jones movie.” Uh, no it isn’t. It’s just a silly story of agents reading a USA Today account about an auction over eggs and then taking them on behalf of Communists. I’d say that sounds more like a bad Saturday Night Live skit.
By the way . . . I heard that someone has a pet earthworm they got on a trip to Iran. They may also have President Ahmadinejad’s pet rock collection, too. Time for The ICE Princess to swing agents in to action and investigate.
We must spend our tax dollars to return the insect and the stones to their proper country of origin.

DISTURBING: What You Don’t Know About the Muslim Trolley Square Terrorist

By
**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****
I’m learning more about the . Yet, the Mainstream Media continue to ignore his religious background.
Worse, it sounds like Salt Lake City police are getting in on the denial act. They refused to seize or search Talovic’s computer, as terrorism expert and investigator Bill Warner points out. From the Salt Lake Tribune:

Salt Lake City police spokeswoman Robin Snyder said Wednesday that police have not discerned a motive or found anything resembling a suicide note. With the permission of Talovic’s parents, detectives searched their home but did not take any computers or video games, she said.

Muslim Trolley Square Terrorist Sulejman Talovic

Why the heck not? What kind of investigation is this? What kind of investigators are these? Not very good ones. Five people are dead, five more in critical or serious condition, including a pregnant woman. The guy is Muslim and apparently a jihadist who wanted to kill as many people as possible and had on his person the ammo to do it. And they aren’t going to search his computer?! Hello . . .? Did the country not learn a thing from the episode of . . . and then 3,000 Americans were murdered?
We need to know how he got the firearm and ammo, from whom, and whether he was working with anyone. Not seizing and searching the computer is sheer idiocy.
Come on. Bill Warner comments:

Are you kidding me, 18 year old SULEJMAN TALOVIC unemployed (until Dec. 06), a high school drop out who stays home all the time, isolated by himself, who obviously had been planning the shooting at the Trolley Square Mall for some time, and he is a Muslim who had over 18 of his close relatives executed by the Serbs, and they DO NOT TAKE THE COMPUTERS ?????????????????

EXACTLY.
Then, there’s this e-mail I got from a reader in Salt Lake. Trying to verify it, but if even half of it is true (and I know the part about the people in the gift shop is–they were there buying Valentine’s Day gifts) . . .

I read your article on the terrorist attack at Trolley Square in Salt Lake City with interest. I knew as soon as I spoke with my friends Monday night in law enforcement (the ones who actually killed the shooter) that this was a terrorist attack.
According to my friends on the SWAT team who responded to the scene first, the terrorist killed four individuals inside a gift shop Jihad execution style. He actually made them kneel down. Then he put the gun barrel to the back of their heads and killed each one of them one by one.
The day after the shooting, I observed a man dressed as a Muslim cleric being arrested by the West Valley Police on his way to the Kaadeeja Islamic Center in West Valley City. My friends in law enforcement confirmed that this man is the Uncle of Sulejman Talovic.
Of course the FBI is denying there is any link to terrorism because the DOJ has a direct order from President Bush to ensure that no terrorist attacks occur on American soil since 9/11.

So, why won’t they seize and search Talovic’s computer?
**** UPDATE: Reader Eric, a computer expert, writes:

As a computer security professional I find it ludicrous they did not look at all the computers in the house. Each and every one should’ve been confiscated, imaged and searched. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones, PDA’s, Sony PSP, pagers … It is not unusual for the local PD to not have the tools/experience to carry out a forensic investigation. However, I would imagine that SLC is large enough to have at least one officer trained on how to secure the equipment until another agency (county, state, federal) is on the scene to conduct the investigation. Just my two cents for whatever it is worth.

It’s worth a lot more than the training they apparently get at the Salt Lake PD.

Empty Shelf, the Sequel: USA Today Pays Tribute To Islamist Chick Lit

By
I’ve written several entries on new “thriller” novels sympathetic to Islamofascists. But I’ve also written about the silly “chick lit” novels that do the same. USA Today is front and center in helping to promote this propaganda, gushing over each of the books.
Today, USA Today’s book page has an item called, “Roundup: International Voices.” But it should really be called, “Roundup: Islamofascist Voices of the World,” because each of the four books highlighted is written by a Muslim with a pan-Islamist point of view. So much for “diversity.” The worst gushing is over “Knots” by Nuruddin Farah (the cover of which features a woman in a burqa) and “Once in a Promised Land,” by Laila Halaby (whose cover shows a man swimming in a pool under a shadow of one of the 9/11 planes!).

Of “Knots,” reviewer Donna Freydkin writes:

Why would a woman who led a seemingly liberated life choose to go back to her roots and veil herself? Nuruddin Farah tackles that question in his complex drama. . . . Farah does offer an insightful exploration of what it means to come home again.

If that’s not nauseating enough, read what Freydkin writes about the absurd “Once in a Promised Land”:

After the World Trade Center came down, the public focused on the victims of the terrorist attacks. But what about Middle Easterners living in the USA and the collateral damage they suffered by virtue of their ethnicity? Laila Halaby tries to tell their story in her strained drama about a Jordanian water engineer who lives in Arizona with his adulterous wife. Jassim and Salwa are living the American dream until they become personae non grata in the wake of 9/11. . . . Halaby is spot-on in her observations of how slowly a once-idyllic union can crumble.

Yup–meet “the real” victims of 9/11: Not 3,000 innocent murderees. Nope, it’s a philandering Muslim couple and their marriage. And “the real” perpetrators of 9/11? That’s us bigoted Americans.
Gimme A Break!

George Bush & the 7,000 Iraqi Refugees

By
While our country continues to grant asylum to thousands of Muslim extremists from all over the Middle East, Christian Iraqis–known as Chaldeans–have been refused asylum since we went into Iraq. That’s despite the fact that since the Shi’ites have taken over, they’ve persecuted and killed many Chaldeans, whose churches have been blown up and shot up.
Then, there are the few loyal Muslim translators, some of whom have literally given their arm and leg (and in some documented cases, half their face) to help U.S. troops. They also can’t get to the U.S., and have been exiled to Jordan, where they are treated as outcasts. We’ve neglected these people who sacraficed deeply for us, and we should be ashamed.
Now, President Bush has finally agreed to allow 7,000 Iraqi refugees into the U.S. But will those refugees be the desirable Christians–the Chaldeans–who can’t stay alive if they remain in Iraq; or the few, rare, loyal Muslim translators (unlike the majority who are ) who’ve risked their lives to help our soldiers and who are now maimed?
We’ll see. But based on what’s happened, thus far, I’m not holding my breath. Instead, I expect that those 7,000 spaces will be wasted on more Shi’ite Muslim Iraqis, who strongly support Hezbollah, and are bent on our destruction and Iran’s world takeover–or Sunnis tied to similar extremism. That’s been the record.
And, unfortunately, I don’t look for it to change. I hope I am wrong. But don’t count on it.

Shame on the Port Authority: Holds Hostage Transfer of Ports from Dubai’s DP World

By
Late last year, I wrote about how . That sale was scheduled to go through, as it had approval of the port authorities in every city . . . except one, Newark.
Unfortunately, the sale may now not go through. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will not approve the sale of the ports operations and their transfer to AIG, unless AIG agrees to make tens of millions of dollars in payments to the Authority for improvements it made to the Port Newark Container Terminal in Newark, New Jersey.

Shame on them! This is extortion. The fact is that the Port Authority never made such demands on Dubai Ports World, as it should have done. Why is it doing so now when an American company is buying the operations?
This may put a kabosh on the deal, and our ports will remain controlled and operated by an Islamist state-owned entity that has no love for America or Jews, but has a great affinity for the 9/11 hijackers that its parent-state aided and abetted in murdering 3,000 Americans.
Great job, Port Authority.

Attention, Coleman Campaigners: The Book on Al Franken

By
So, lefty Al Franken is officially running for the U.S. Senate against Republican Norm Coleman in Minnesota. For those interested, the most thorough book on Franken is by my friend, Alan Skorski–“Pants on Fire: How Al Franken Lies, Smears and Deceives.” Alan predicted Franken would run, a while ago.
Check out the book.

And there’s the “Anyone But Al Franken” Stein and related items.
