Yesterday, Pope Benedict delivered a tough sermon against Islamic jihad. We applaud that, especially this excerpt:

The Pope quoted criticisms of the prophet Mohammed by a 14th century Byzantine Christian emperor, Manuel II, during a debate with a learned Persian.
“Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”

The Pope went on to denounce the “pathologies and life-threatening diseases” associated with extremist Islam.

These words give us hope that this Pope is more enlightened on reality than his predecessor who knelt at Syria’s Al-Omayyad mosque, a church destroyed by Muslim crusaders and rebuilt as a mosque.
But while the Pope’s words are welcome and refreshing, his actions don’t jibe with his words. Recently, he met with Imam Hassan Qazwini, chief cleric of North America’s largest mosque–the Islamic Center of America.
But Qazwini is a leader in the jihad and an open supporter of terrorist groups HAMAS and Hezbollah. He is a supporter and associate of Hezbollah spiritual leader Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist on the Treasure Department terrorist list.
When I went undercover to his mosque in 1998, he and others welcomed Nation of Islam chief racist Louis Farrakhan as “our dear brother” and “a freedom fighter.” Qazwini applauded Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic statements saying that Jews were the “forces of Satan” and that there needed to be a “jihad” on the American people.
If Pope Benedict is truly against jihad, why did he invite Imam Qazwini to the Vatican?
It reminds us of three trite-but-true sayings: You can tell a lot about a person by the company he keeps. Talk is cheap. And actions speak louder than words.

Just a few weeks ago, the Hindu Temple in Hamtramck, Michigan was burnt to the ground–actually below the ground. But who did it? When it was first reported in the news, we certainly had our suspicions.
Authorities have no clue, and they suspect arson in the destruction of the Bangladesh Hindu Cultural Center and Temple. But here’s the rub. Hamtramck, a small city that it surrounded by Detroit, has a growing Muslim community that has overtaken the city’s Polish roots (my Polish Jewish immigrant great-uncle had shoe stores there, in the early 1900s). It is the first city in the nation to officially sanction the noise pollution of five-a-day Islamic calls to prayer.

The rapidly increasing Muslim population of Hamtramck is largely Bangladeshi and Yemeni, but there is also a growing Bosnian and Kosovar Islamic presence. And Islamic charities within Hamtramck have long been under investigation by federal law enforcement authorities, for funding Islamic terrorism. Hamtramck is home to , the Yemeni Muslim caught last week, trying to sneak a knife encapsulated inside a book onto a plane at Detroit Metro Airport. Past Detroit Free Press reports documented multiple, Islamic male physical attacks on Black students at Hamtramck public schools.
So, who set fire to the Hindu Temple? We’ll never know for sure, given the evidence at this point. But if it was an Islamic terrorist attack, they succeeded in kicking out their Hindu enemies. The Temple congregants cannot afford a new building and have no place in which to meet for prayer.

We are a poor community,” Karuna Nath said. “We don’t have enough money.”
Although the Bangladeshi-American community in Hamtramck is one of the largest in the country, its members are overwhelmingly Muslim.
They are highly unlikely to support a Hindu temple.

In Hamtramckstan–a tiny island of jihad in America–the non-Muslims are clearly losing the battle.

Yesterday, on NBC Nightly News (and MSNBC), Kerry Daniels reported that our drones did nothing to Taliban leaders gathered at an Afghani funeral . . . out of respect for cemeteries/funerals and for Islam. Daniels updated his report, this morning, with this drone photo of the funeral.

The picture above, declassified at NBC News’ request, shows 190 members of the Taliban at a funeral. It’s believed by U.S. Army officers that several of those gathered were top Taliban leaders. But the U.S. was unable to take out the men standing in formation.
Why? Under the rules of engagement, the U.S. cannot bomb a cemetery.
One officer involved says, “We were so excited. I came rushing in with the picture.” But in the end, that excitement turned to frustration. The unmanned Predator drone, flying undetected overhead, continued to feed back pictures as the Taliban dispersed, heading off in tiny groups, too small to effectively target.

Now, check out the what Taliban Muslims do at other Muslims’ funerals/cemeteries. THEY HOMICIDE BOMB THE HELL OUT OF THEM!
Our men are being blown up by their bombs and attacks, and we do nothing because it’s a funeral at a cemetery?! It’s time to take off the coat and tie and get muddy. Or we will lose this war. And our freedom.

On this site, we’ve questioned why corrupt Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents continue in their careers unscathed, why others get sweeheart deals to get out and keep their pensions. This should be important to all freedom-loving Americans because corrupt ICE agents means lax enforcement of immigration and customs laws. We’ve seen this in Dearborn, Michigan and beyond–the heart of Islamic America, where Michigan/Ohio Special Agent in Charge a/k/a “Abu Moskowitz” refuses to investigate alien smuggling operations and money laundering by Muslims. Agents say they’ve been turned down when requesting to investigate legitimate, substantial tips and leads in the area. Yet, he invited an (who was in a sham marriage to get a green card) to his home and to .

Now, we know why agents like Moskowitz and others get away with it. Richard Skinner, the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General, issued a scathing report–ironically on 9/11–of ICE’s internal affairs department, the Office of Professional Responsibility–currently headed by Moskowitz crony a/k/a “The Cheater Chick.”
We recommend reading the entire report, especially ICE chieftess a/k/a “The ICE Princess'” memo in response (beginning on page 31)–which is full of falsehoods and was probably written by Lembke and that expensive new lawyer on whom Myers wasted our tax dollars. We also note that on page 17 of the report (page 21 of the PDF), the Inspector General chastises top ICE management, reportedly Moskowitz’s boss a/k/a “Peppermint Patty,” ICE’s Director of Investigations, for overriding OPR’s prescribed punishment for top ICE officials–cronyism over justice:

OPR officials noted a recent case that it investigated involving a Senior Executive Service [DS: SES status means mucho pay, over $140,000 per year and usually in the $200-$250K neighborhood] employee. The employee had several serious charges of substantiated misconduct that were referred to the appropriate component director for discipline. The initial decision to impose a three-day suspension was rescinded, and a letter of reprimand was imposed, which is under appeal. OPR officials we interviewed expressed surprise at the lenient penalty, considering the serious nature of the misconduct and the employee’s seniority and position, and thought the misconduct warranted a stronger penalty than was imposed. Another official familiar with the case stated that the component responsible for disciplining the employee is widely known for being too lenient.

Sources within ICE say that “lenient component”–who cancelled proper punishment for misconduct of top ICE officials–is Marcy Forman-Friedman. That explains the lack of discipline against Abu Moskowitz, and why complaints against him have bounced all around the agency, at the direction of his friend, Acting OPR Director Lembke.
We think The Washington Post has a pretty good summary of the OIG Report:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has failed to root out internal corruption because it does not reliably track cases, decide them quickly or set uniform punishments, according to a inspector general’s report made public yesterday.
ICE has no coherent system to promptly and fairly oversee allegations of bribery, smuggling, falsification, sexual harassment or mismanagement against agents, the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general reported.
From January 2003 to August 2005, agency supervisors failed to take disciplinary action in 147 of 246 cases when allegations were substantiated by investigators, the report said. More than 60 cases lingered for a year or more, some for as long as four years, it added.
ICE relies on five different sets of penalties for workers, the report said, “resulting in the perception that a ‘good old boys’ network still existed where certain infractions were simply made to go away.”

We’d say that, in several cases, the perception of the “good old boys” network is not just a perception. It’s reality. As we noted, ICE’s 2nd in command, John Clark, for convicted sex offender a/k/a Frankie the Fig to retire and keep his $100,000-plus annual pension.
We’ve also noted the . Nothing has happened to him, even though he blatantly violated government rules when he got his extra-marital girlfriend a plum job for which she was not qualified and formed a supersecret hiring board to avoid mandated government hiring procedures. Myers needs to sign off on all ICE discipline, but she refuses to sign off any anything to hurt her precious Costanza-like friend, Torres.
And there’s a “Good Old Gal” Network, too. Lembke, a woman, has been known to use her position atop OPR to protect her friends (like Moskowitz) and hurt her enemies within the agency.
And then there’s that other gal we wrote about, , an ICE agent who–with her cop boyfriend–handcuffed a woman to a hot tub and tried to force her to perform sex acts on them. She is still working for ICE and being paid, over a year after this crime and has yet to be indicted.
With such a lack of internal enforcement and rooting out of corruption, how can we expect ICE to do a good job of rooting out illegal aliens in our midst? They can’t even investigate themselves properly. How the heck can they investigate alien and weapons smugglers and money launderers?

More disturbing details are coming in on the carjacking by a Muslim Arab male, yesterday evening, at Detroit Metro Airport.
, law enforcement sources told that the man–an Arab male–carjacked a cab at the airport and drove it down I-94 freeway until he was finally caught near Willow Run airport a few miles away. He had to be tazed by law enforcement in order to be subdued.
Now, law enforcement sources have shared more disturbing information with , indicating that this could have been a dry run for a car bomb plot.
The law enforcement sources say the carjacker, named Mohammed, drove to Detroit Metro Airport, yesterday, leaving his car parked (illegally) in front of the McNamara terminal (the main terminal at Detroit Metro), where pick-ups and drop-offs take place. He left the car there, then ran to the cab area in the nearby parking structure, carjacking the cab.
Although authorities found no explosive materials in the illegally parked car, it appears this could have been a dry run to see how long a car could remain unoccupied in front of many people walking in and out of the airport. Why else would a man in the Detroit area drive a car to the airport, park it illegally in front of the airport terminal, and carjack a cab to get away immediately afterward?
This past weekend, as our nation observed the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, President Bush’s homeland security advisor, Fran Townsend, claimed that since 9/11, the Bush Administration has established complete security “from curb to cockpit.” Not the case.
In fact, there has never been security from the curb to the security checkpoints inside airports, and several officials have long complained (to deaf airs) that a terrorist could easily get inside any airport and blow it up at any point until the TSA security checkpoints. They argued that checkpoints should begin outside of airport entry points.
This incident shows that their concerns are valid.

Detroit Metro Airport, which services the heart of Islamic America, is a very busy place for jihadists, including yesterday’s carjacking.
On the heels of Thursday’s arrest of Mohammed Ghanem of Yemen and Hamtramck, Michigan (the only city in America to sanction the Islamic call to prayer on its loudspeakers), trying to sneak a knife hidden in a book onto a flight (he had a one-way ticket), comes another disturbing development.
Yesterday, law enforcement sources tell DebbieSchlussel.com, a Muslim Arab male carjacked a cab at Metro Detroit Airport. The man led police on a chase that ended on I-94, near Willow Run, a smaller airport a few miles away.

Some odd lessons from yesterday’s 9/11 anniversary and today’s news coverage of it show that we still haven’t learned a thing (some of us haven’t, anyway):
* Lesson #1: Thou shalt not wear t-shirts supporting the troops or remembering the attacks to a public school in America.
Fifteen students at Lincoln Park High School in the Detroit suburb of Lincoln Park were sent home because they wore t-shirts that featured 9/11 commemorative messages including, “I support my troops,” and a U.S. Navy T-shirt with “9/11” on it.
Interesting that this happened in the same Detroit suburb, where earlier this year, Fitness USA caved to Muslims and built a dividing wall between men and women, so Muslim women could exercise hijab-free and without modest attire.

* Lesson #2: Thou shalt create silly civil liberties boards–whose members are Muslim extremists–to find ways to sacrifice security and safety against terrorism.
Detroit’s hip-hop, Pimp Daddy Mayor, Kwame “the Kingpin” Kilpatrick (whose uncle is a Muslim minister) decided to establish a Detroit “Freedom Board” to focus on protecting civil liberties at the cost of tighter security measures. Kilpatrick, who took junkets to Dubai and the UAE courtesy of Muslim and Arab groups, plans to appoint Muslims and consulted with FBI award revokee and “former” Islamic terrorist on the plan.
He got the idea after watching a Ted Koppel special on Discovery Channel. Ted Koppel–the self-important, toupeed gift that keeps on giving.
* Lesson #3: Flu linked to air travel.
Well, this one we don’t object to. We just think it’s interesting how the obvious was proven by 9/11. Yesterday, researchers–led by Harvard epidemiologist John Brownstein–said they documented a late start in the flu season of 2001, which they attribute to the drop in air travel just after 9/11. They say this shows a correlation between the numbers of people traveling on planes and the rate of the spread of a virus.
Well, was it ever a secret that stale airplane air, full of germs, is recycled? Not really. But still, the research is interesting.
* Lesson #4: No love songs for extremist Muslims.
Islamic terrorists in Somalia, linked to Al-Qaeda, yesterday, allowed Radio Jowhar to go back on the air, so long as love songs and/or music are not played. Only “news,” readings from the Quran, and Islamic lectures can be broadcast.
* Lesson #5: Muslims are far less than 2.5% of the U.S. population.
A survey of 1721 people, conducted late last year by Gallup and analyzed by Baylor University’s Institute for Studies of Religion found that Jews were the smallest religion of note in America, with 2.5% of the population. All other faiths with less than 2.5%–that includes Islam–totalled 5%.
Hey, CAIR, stop lying and inflating the number of Muslims in America. Since Jews in America number only 5.2 million, this survey (and extrapolating from U.S. Census figures) shows the number of Muslims is far less than the 6-7 million Islamofascist propagandists claim.

Karen Hughes, Bush Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs (a fancy name for “Chief Apologist and Panderer to the IslamoFascist World”), has an op-ed piece in today’s USA Today, entitled “Where’s the Outrage?: A United World Must Resolutely Condemn Terror.” But she won’t come out and say that it’s Muslims (not other religions) that won’t condemn terror. And she repeats the statistical lie of the 6-7 million Muslims.
Karen, spare us your lecturing. We already condemn terror. It’s and even here in America, , who need to be lectured. If 5 years after 9/11, you haven’t figured that out, you should simply retire.

In this case, I refer to . With your justly outraged phone calls and e-mails, you stopped a repeat of a large grant to a jihadist Museum–for impressionable young kids from Detroit’s inner city to tour it.

Jihadist Arab Museum Loses Absurd Jewish Funding
The Jewish Fund is a multi-million dollar, non-profit fund that consists of the proceeds of the sale of Detroit Sinai Hospital, a hospital founded so that Jewish patients could get kosher meals and Jewish doctors didn’t have to work on Jewish holidays (as my Dad–who was a resident at Sinai can attest–the opposite happened; Gentile doctors at other Detroit hospitals respected the Jewish holidays; his Jewish supervisors did NOT; his writings are and ).
When the hospital was sold, wealthy, liberal cronies involved in the falsely-named Detroit Jewish Welfare Federation appointed themselves to the Jewish fund, and annually they dole out money to “the community.” Unfortunately, as I wrote last year, these left-wing Jewish activists gave money–donated by dead Jewish people for a Jewish hospital–to the Arab American National Museum for Black children in Detroit to become indoctrinated with the anti-Israel (and basically anti-Semitic) propaganda of the museum and its jihadist parent organization, ACCESS–the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services.
After I wrote about it, liberals at The Jewish Fund and the Detroit Jewish Welfare Federation received many, many angry e-mails from people who said they’d never again donate to Federation. And that–the bottom line, NOT jihad against Jews, Christians, and other Americans–is the only thing these liberals understand.
First, they claimed that they lied on their original press release and that the Detroit Free Press lied–that the grant didn’t go directly to the Arab American National Museum, but that it went to a left-wing, pro-Islamist organization (the National Conference on Community and Justice, another falsely-named organization) in order to take the impressionable young kids on a tour of the Arab Museum.
The money laundering point is a distinction without a difference and a blatant lie. The Museum, this summer, sent out an e-mail stating openly that it was looking for kids groups to tour the Museum, pursuant to a grant the Museum got from The Jewish Fund. The other organization was never mentioned. The bottom line is that the Jewish Fund gave money for kids to tour a Museum that had blatantly anti-Israel exhibits (and still does).
When no-one bought the Jewish Fund’s phony story, Jewish Fund officials claimed that the kids would also tour Shalom Street, a kids’ exhibit at the Detroit Jewish Community Center. So, jihadist, anti-Israel propaganda would be countered by . . . coloring books and puppets? Do the Islamic and Arab communities give grants for kids to tour the Holocaust Museum or pro-Israel events? No. Because they’re not liberal, noblesse oblige, former hippie yahoos who smoked too much pot back in the ’60s and ’70s. They are masters of propaganda and in the most basic concept–of standing up for their community (not their enemies’ community).
Regardless, The Jewish Fund just announced its grants for this year, and the grant to the jihadist Arab American National Museum has been discontinued, its executive director, Jodee Fishman Raines, e-mailed me. Well, it’s about time. Or rather, well past it.
Thanks to you, my loyal, patriotic readers–who didn’t let this group of my coreligionist liberals get away with it. Your calls stopped more money–from dead Jewish people meant for a hospital– from going to indoctrinating young kids in the propaganda and culture of the Jihad.
We will keep our eye on The Jewish Fund, though. Old, silly liberal habits die hard.

It’s been a while since we wrote about Immigration Chief a/k/a “The ICE Princess”–the woman responsible for letting the immigration problem fester for the last nine months. But don’t you worry, we’ve been watching her.
New Baby vs. America’s National Security
Speaking of nine months, Myers is scheduled to take maternity leave, very soon. Unfortunately, she is only taking three weeks off, and then she is scheduled to return to the helm of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the agency that enforces our nation’s immigration laws . . . or is supposed to.

Heading up ICE is a full-time job. When we say full-time, we mean at least 12 hours a day and sometimes 18 hours a day. There is no way a new mom can handle that job and raise a new baby. And there is no way a new mom can handle the demands of running ICE, which is still an aimless ship riding the stormy seas without direction (because Myers–the 37-year-old with no law enforcement experience–has no direction).
Something–in this case both things: her new baby and our country/enforcement of immigration laws–will suffer.
So, will Julie Myers do the right thing for her baby and her country (the order of importance for her always–after herself, of course) and step down? Don’t count on it. The right thing for her country would have been never to pick herself for the job in the first place. And she placed herself and her desire for the cool new position of authority before everything else.
Wastes Immigration Tax $$$ on Unnecessary, Inexperienced Lawyers
Then, there’s the matter of . As we , Baker is a lawyer whom Myers hired to work as her personal attorney, paid for by you–the American taxpayer–to the tune of at least $140,000 per year.
Baker has NO experience in immigration or customs law, but he knows a lot about Indian tribes and gambling, completely useless in enforcing immigration laws. ICE already has a stable of attorneys–the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA)–whose job is to provide Myers and other top personnel at ICE with legal advice. That’s why we pay them a salary good enough to keep them away from the lawyer rat-race of billable hours and little family time.
But that wasn’t good enough for Myers. So she wasted money that could easily have hired three to five new ICE agents, on a lawyer from Yale, her crony from New York–Baker. We wonder what Bill Howard, who heads up the OPLA, thinks about the fact that The ICE Princess doesn’t think he or his lawyers’ advice is as good as a Yale expert on Indian casinos and gambling.
As we noted, one ICE Agent–who speaks for many that contacted us–said:

I’m not sure exactly what he is doing, but he is supposedly pissing off a lot of people. I’ve heard him referred to as a “f—ing idiot.”
What a waste of money! I guess she’s [The ICE Princess] not getting the service she wants from the ICE Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA).

At first, we hoped it was temporary. But, since, we’ve noticed that Baker’s position–the lofty sounding “Counselor to the Assistant Secretary”–has been made permanent on the ICE organizational map. Don’t look for anyone who replaces Myers in the future to do away with this additional new, tax-wasting perk Myers created for herself at the expense of the rest of the Immigration Enforcement budget.
A new mother running ICE and wasting tax money to hire new, unneeded lawyers with no immigration or customs legal experience. And she, herself, is unqualified and has zero law enforcement experience. What a joke.
How to you spell chutzpah?
J-U-L-I-E-L.-M-Y-E-R-S.
And that chutzpah will be the death of America as we know it, as the illegal alien problem continues to metastasize.
