Forget “Survivor”: New “Amazing Race” Has Muslims, Indians, Etc.

By
Much is being made of the upcoming season of CBS’ “Survivor“–which pits White, Black, Asian, and Hispanic teams against each other.
But we think that the upcoming “The Amazing Race“–also on CBS–promises to be far more interesting. It features a Muslim team, an Indian team (assuming that means from India and not “native Americans”), a Chinese team, an amputee, and a father/lesbian daughter team. The only thing missing is a lacto-ovo, post-op transsexual stripper FBI agent team.
The Muslim team, Bilal Abdul-Mani and Sa’eed Rudolph of Cleveland, are portrayed as All-American, military veteran, football-loving guys. Just like us . . . and just like a team carefully selected and vetted by CAIR on behalf of CBS and “Amazing Race.” Bet on it that that’s the case.

Amazing Race’s Muslim Team, Bilal and Sa’eed

Here’s their introduction by CBS (video interview here):

These best friends have spent years bonding over their love of food, Browns football and their shared Islamic faith. While Bilal is energetic and outgoing, Sa’eed is quiet and passive. Their vastly different temperaments will be fun to watch as they attempt to navigate over 40,000 miles in under 30 days.

In the past, they’ve had Jewish teams. On one of the first “Amazing Race” shows, Flo Pesenti and Zach Behr, an athletic Jewish couple resembling super models, won the $1 million prize. On other seasons of the show, producers reverted to stereotypes, and Jewish teams were presented as nerdy, unathletic nebbishy types–who were, predictably, quickly eliminated.
Unlike the Jewish teams, which had no apparent agenda about representing Jews on the show, the Muslim team–friends from Cleveland–have a very clear agenda. Ads for the show present them in Islamic robes and kufi hats, proclaiming, “We are Muslims, but we are not terrorists.” In their online interviews, they talk about their main reason for doing this: changing the image that American’s have of Muslims.
One way they might do that is to specifically denounce Hezbollah, HAMAS, Islamic Jihad, the Hezbollah bombing death of 300 U.S. Marines and civilians in Beirut, the Hezbollah bombing of the Jewish Community Center and Isreali Embassy in Buenos Aires. Don’t hold your breath for them to ever publicly do such a thing.
Past seasons of the show feature many stops in Islamic countries–with all portrayals showing what nice, fun-loving Muslims they are, how nice they treat Americans when the camera is on. This season’s trip to Kuwait, we predict, will be no different, nor will the favorable scenes of the Cleveland Muslims.
We’ll be watching “Amazing Race” with interest, to see how the “Religion of Peace” is portrayed by CBS’ agenda-laden programming execs. We wouldn’t be surprised if–like last season’s annoying hippie team–they are portrayed as cool and win the show.
Just like Mark Burnett, Jonathan Littman and the other producers of AR are cooking things up in the editing room. And we don’t predict we’ll like the Morgan Spurlock style presentation.
Watch for Bilal and Sa’eed to make the media rounds on behalf of Islamofascist propaganda groups CAIR, MPAC, etc. And remember, everything they are saying is very calculated and cognizant that the cameras are on.
Taqiyyah comes to reality adventure TV.

Me in Rolling Stone: “That Jew Lady”

By
I’m quoted in the latest issue of Rolling Stone–the September 7, 2006 issue–in a biased article entitled, “Road Rage: Red, White, and Islam.” To get an idea of the tone, here’s the subheading:

Under siege since 9/11, Arab-Americans go to D.C. to protest George Bush’s war and Israel’s bombing of Beirut–but the nation and media stand them up again.

Rolling Stone’s Arab Muslims on Schlussel: “That Jew Lady”

(Jew Lady artwork by David Lunde)

Here’s the part about me:

Like the boys [DS: –the TracFone suspects, whose grand jury hearing in Ohio starts today], Rannya and Renee [Abdul-hadi] both went to Dearborn’s Fordson High School, which owns the dubious distinction of being dubbed “” by the Ann Coulter of Detroit, a literary-hussy type named Debbie Schlussel. Schlussel, whom I heard referred to more than once by others in Dearborn as “that Jew lady,” dubbed the cell-phone suspects, Ali and Osama, the “Dearbornistan boy terrorists.” . . . But Schlussel isn’t the only unnerving voice in Michigan.

Actually, it was the “,” but who’s looking for accuracy, when he made up a whole other paragraph about me that Rolling Stone had to delete? Yup, I’m the “unnerving voice” for exposing the extremists here. Meantime, the extremists are the normal ones.
Welcome to Rolling Stone’s warped “post-9/11” world.
This is the second time I’m in Rolling Stone, and the second time the reporter tried to lie about me, but got stopped by the magazine’s fact-checkers. The first time was after 9/11 in an article about extremist Shia Imam, Hassan Qazwini–an open supporter of terrorism and jihad against Americans.
This time Arab writer Matt Taibbi (who I’m told is a relative of NBC reporter Mike Taibbi) wrote a lot of fiction about me, but the fact-checker had to take it out. He made it up. Still, he gets his licks in and tries to make extremists from his community sound mostly reasonable and idealistic.
Gee, Matt, comparing me to Ann Coulter. How original. I’ve never heard that one before.

NewsLite: Stiff KatieCast is Part Unethical Advertising, Part “The View”

By
Welcome to the girlie-man news, hosted by . . . a girl. A girl with a strained, horse voice and very little gravitas or authority. A girl who plugged a new, company-owned product–Morgan Spurlock–but unethically didn’t disclose the connection to viewers.
Last night’s inaugural “CBS Evening News with Katie Couric,” got off to a valley girl newsmagazine start. Instead of hard news stories, like those with which ABC and NBC began, we were treated to “Hi, Everybody. I’m so happy to be here.” Since when are Katie Couric’s feelings “hard news”–and the lead story at that?
Then, right on to CBS reporteratrix with make-up and a South African accent, Lara Logan. Still no hard news. But we did get to see her being foolishly led on a wild goose chase by Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. A whole three minute-plus piece, and all we got out of it was her silly “Am I allowed to smile?” question to the Taliban fighters. Again, this is news?

CBS Evening NewsLite with Katie & Elmo

Memo to CBS News execs (that means you Rome Hartman): Trying to attract the young Internet crowd? Long, boring pieces reported by a chick with an accent won’t cut it. Ditto for a long, useless interview with lefty New York Times columnist Tom Friedman. If we wanted to see “Disgrace the Nation” hosted by Katie, we’d watch the Sunday Morning shows.
Friedman as new national security expert? If Katie was really interested in the successes of our military strategy abroad and homeland security here, a better choice would have been a top law enforcement official or military expert. Not the obnoxious, token Jewish friend of King Abdullah of Saud.
But it gets worse. Remember Ross Perot’s idea of instant democracy by computer voting? Meet instant news editing/programming by computer voting? Katie invited viewers not only to pick guest commentators in the new “Free Speech” segment, but also to suggest what her new sign off should be. Since voting about CBS News is so important to her, why didn’t we get to vote on the host of the show? Don’t kid yourself into thinking she or CBS cares about your opinion.
If they did, do you really think America would have voted for fake-u-mentary maker Morgan Spurlock as the first “Free Speech” commentator? No. But Spurlock was chosen in an unethical choice by CBS, whose sister company, Viacom, owns Comedy Central, to which Spurlock is under contract to develop a political talk show replicating “Politically Correct” (the now defunct ABC show hosted by Bill Maher).
It’s ironic that a FAKE news maker like Spurlock is the first commentator on a new, revamped news show. In fact, it’s ominous. As I wrote in the Wall Street Journal, last summer, Spurlock’s TV “documentary” F/X series, “30 Days,” recruited me to be on a show about Islam. But before production had even started, he decided how the participant in the documentary would feel and what conclusions he would reach. Good to know that Katie & Company consider that news. And good to keep in mind while watching anything on this “newscast.”
Spurlock’s comments were so absurd, they were hilarious. He told viewers that he and they are in the center of America, the “middle of the road.” If that’s middle of the road to him and/or CBS, clearly they are out of touch. Spurlock is far-left. Not just liberal. But off the deep end of the far-left. While millions of Americans continue to patronize McDonald’s, he went to the extreme and made a phony “documentary,” “Supersize Me,” lambasting the chain.
Listening to this out-of-touch, goateed, oversized leprichaun from West Virginia claim that he will never get on national TV because he’s too calm and reasoned in his views is not only hilarious, it’s a flat-out lie. Again, he’s got a development deal with Comedy Central for a show to do exactly what he claims he can’t. And he just finished season two of fake-umentaries on F/X.
Is going to a high school, using expletives, and ridiculing disabled children and fast-food workers “reasoned,” “calm,” etc. to you? Hardly. But that’s exactly , just months ago–shocking administrators and parents. Whatta hypocrite this guy is.
Thanks, Katie, for disclosing CBS’ contract with Spurlock. Oh, yeah, she didn’t.
Then, there were the “View”-like segments of so-called news. The Entertainment Tonight segments. Photos of Tom and Katie’s new baby is news? Nope. But Katie showed us an old news-clip of Prince Charles’ baby photos to justify it as the news that it wasn’t.
And how about the Peter Gabriel song and human interest snapshot photos, another new feature of CBS News-Lite with Katie? No news there, either.
I switched back and forth to the other newscasts, and voila, news. I learned about the President’s speech on the War on Terror, 5 years after 9/11, from NBC and ABC. I heard about new figures and facts released about the Taliban’s continued strength in Afghanistan from them, too. ABC’s Brian Ross had an interesting interview/expose of the Pakistani’s lax policy of sheltering Bin Laden. NBC discussed new sources of oil-drilling in America and offshore.
CBS touched briefly on the oil story and the Prez’s speech. But those were light blips that got a lot less time than the closing shots of Katie’s legs in a mini skirt, at the end of the Katie-Cast.
Legs? Male viewers can see more, younger versions of that on FOX News Channel, almost 24/7 (minus the few hours of Greta, Sean, Bill, Brit, and Shep). Reporteratrices asking Talibanis if it’s okay to smile? E! could have sent Carmen Electra–and done it in less than 3 long minutes. Product plugs? It’s better done by Ricky Bobby. And he didn’t pretend to deliver the news at the same time.
Katie may have gotten a huge ratings bump, last night. But that’s what you get at the scene of a horrible accident: A lot of gawkers.
After that, the gawkers quickly return back to their normal lives. Watch Katie’s gawkers to grow tired, real fast.
It’s just not possible to take this chick delivering girlie-man news, seriously.

Miller’s Fertilized Response Says it All: Brewer Openly Supports Alien Amnesty

By
As readers of this site know, we support capitalism. But we support capitalism with limits. That means we don’t support companies that benefit from America and Americans, but worship the almighty dollar so much that they have no loyalty to the welfare of this country. Miller Beer is one of those companies.
Many readers of this site contacted Miller Brewing Company, upon Friday’s announcement that the company , this past Labor Day Weekend.
Unfortunately, instead of admitting the company made a mistake, Miller is sending out two VERY different responses (you’d think if they were going to cover their asses there, they could at least get their stories straight and stick to one version), one claiming that it did not sponsor the event–it did!–and the other with a message in which Miller isn’t backing down from its pro-illegal alien position. In the second e-mail, the brewer is quite clear that it wants to expand its Latino drinking base at all costs (even though many Hispanic Americans oppose illegal immigration). Miller is even comparing its founder with illegal aliens!

Buh-Bye, Miller Girls

Here’s the response reader Jeff got (he was apparently complaint number 12416571):

Thanks for contacting us.
We did not sponsor this march, and we did not authorize the use of our
trademarks in association with the event. We certainly do not support
illegal immigration, but we do support sensible reform of immigration law.
We appreciate your interest.

You can probably guess what they mean by “sensible” reform of immigration law, and it has nothing to do with the House version of legislation.

Miller Time is Over

Here’s the response another reader got (he was apparently complaint number 12417987):

From: Milleronline Milleronline@mbco.com
Date: 2006/09/03 Sun PM 05:44:18 EDT
Subject: 12417987
Thanks for contacting us.
Miller Brewing Company does not support illegal immigration or any other unlawful act. We do support a public policy discussion that will lead to a clear path to legal naturalization for people who meet the requirements for U.S. citizenship. We also oppose any legislation that would unfairly and unjustly seek to constrain immigration.

[DS Translation: That means Miller supports Amnesty for illegal aliens and opposes the House’s get-tough immigration legislation.]

Miller was founded 151 years ago by a German immigrant, Frederick Miller.

[DS: Question–Was Frederick Miller an illegal alien? Was he brought over the border by a coyote? Did he have a criminal record? Was he a Muslim who learned Spanish to fool authorities? Did he have fake documents? Did he rip off Medicaid and Social Security?]

And today, we are part of an international company with employees from around the world. We support the free movement of people, labor, goods and services in the global economy with appropriate protections for the rights of individuals and families, the security of nations, and the diversity that contributes to a rich and productive society.
Miller is active in helping immigrants learn how to become legally
naturalized citizens of the U.S., through programs like the Miller Lite Immigration Forum in Texas and support for a recent immigration convention in Chicago.

[DS: No, it was a pro-illegal alien rally, NOT an “immigration convention.” Quit lying, Miller! If one becomes a citizen through the Miller Lite program, does that mean that person is a Citizen Lite? Perhaps.]

We have a long history of proudly supporting many national and local Latino organizations throughout the U.S.

[DS: Like La Raza? Does this mean Miller pledges allegiance to the United States of Aztlan?]

We appreciate your interest.

Visit Miller Boycott and Boycott Miller. And Say Good-Bye to the Miller Girls.
If they play the field the same way as their company does, you can bet they get around.

They’re “African,” We’re American: Obnoxious Celeb Ad Campaign of the Week

By
Annoying Hollywood is at it again. Several leftist celebs (is there any other kind?) donned war paint and war beads in an “I Am African” campaign about AIDS in Africa. It reminds us of last year’s fizzled “I have AIDS” campaign featuring several of the same bloated-ego celebs (like Palestinian Gigolo Richard Gere). Yet another empty self-absorbed incarnation of “We Are the World,” “Hands Across America,” etc., etc., etc., ad nauseam.
We wouldn’t buy a pic of the desperate-for-attention Sarah Jessica Parker without war paint and beads. Why would anyone buy one with those ethnic-pandering “adornments”?

Even the New York Times attacked this silly Keep a Child Alive campaign. Everything about the campaign is obnoxious, including the fact that these wealthy phonies are giving little to none of their own money, but asking the rest of the world to donate money in response to their silly make-up.
Where is their American warpaint and campaign for charities benefitting American troops or poor Americans? Nowhere to be found. When it comes to giving charity in America, most are also similarly absent. But they’re everywhere, when it comes to campaigning against tax cuts or for Al Gore & John Kerry, as Gere, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Gwyneth Paltrow all did. We wonder–when all is said and done–how much of the money will actually go to African kids with AIDS. Precious little, we bet.
They may be “African” today (and Samoan or Fijian, tomorrow). But we’re American. Maybe someday, they’ll remember that they are, too.

I AM AMERICAN

Thong Underwear or Not, Second Coming of Katie Tonight

By
To read the papers, today, you’d think it was the Second Coming, tonight, on the “CBS Evening News.”
Yup, Queen Katie, the newly annointed Her Royal Highness of Girl Power Newsiness, takes her throne atop CBS, tonight. We’re not thrilled (Read from NBC’s “Today”).
We wonder if Queen Katie will use her valley girl vocab, including, “I’m stoked,” on the Evening News. Will she show us some of her well-known, past bodily “displays” (emphasis on the “splay” part of that word)? We’re referring to her on-air colonoscopy. Well, . Pre-photoshopping Katie’s figure to thinness a la CBS, she actually was thin once. And vanity overtakes sanity–she insisted on sexing it up beyond respectability for even a morning TV host. “Today Show” cameras showed us her thong underwear being slinked off her legs.

CBS Evening News with Katie, Thong & Elmo

Even AARP Magazine didn’t show us that, last year, when she did a lot of for them, below.
Yes, tonight, CBS has the dubious distinction of coronating the very first news anchor to show us her thong underwear on live national television. (We’re not including “The Naked News,” of course.)
We predict that CBS will get a temporary bump, this week, as curious gawkers will want to see how Katie–thong (these days it’s a larger size needing photoshop) and all–fare. But, even that can’t be attributed to Katie because she’s had to convince the likes of Rush Limbaugh to create an artificial ratings bump for the gerontological network news show.
The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, Thong et al.

TracFone Palestinians’ Threat to Michigan Bridge Taken Very Seriously Today

By
Remember Adham Abdelhamid Othman, Maruan Awad Muhareb, and Louai Abdelhamied Othman–the ? Remember how the “?
Well, in fact, despite claims to the contrary in public, the FBI–which said there was “no imminent threat”–took their possible planned attack on the Mackinac Bridge VERY SERIOUSLY, as very “imminent.” That’s why, this morning, there was heightened security for the traditional Labor Day walk across the bridge, which connects Michigan’s peninsulas.

According to the Detroit Free Press and AP, the U.S. Coast Guard established a security zone for a quarter-mile on both sides of the bridge beginning an hour before the 7:00 a.m. (Eastern) walk that usually includes Michigan’s Governor and between 40,000 and 60,000 other walkers/joggers. And 200 National Guard troops were stationed on the 5-mile long span of the bridge, not to mention the officers from 13 law enforcement agencies on hand.
Would they have done all that if the three Palestinian TracFone purchasers’ photos were only that of mere “tourists,” as Michigan State police Chief Peter Munoz claimed? Actually, sources tell DebbieSchlussel.com that the photos were not of a “tourist” nature but, rather, that of those planning attacks on the bridge.
That is, unless you believe tourists take a bevy of photos of grates of a bridge, showing the bridge supports below, as reported by skilled WJRT-TV Flint investigative reporter Jeff Piechowski. Tourism photos? Hardly. So why did the Michigan State Police Chief lie? All politics. He works for Michigan lefty Governor Jennifer Granholm, who is in the back pocket of Michigan’s Islamofascist community.
And as for the FBI’s public claim that there was no terrorist plot, ask FBI Michigan Assistant Special Agent in Charge William Kowalski why he told others that he sent his “B-Team” to Caro, to “investigate” the alleged TracFone Terrorists.
Ask the paunchy Kowalski (who sends other FBI terrorism teams to harass League of Women Voters meetings but stays largely clear of Dearbornistan, the heart of Terror Cell America) why–after admittedly sending his “B-Team”–he blindsided Caro Prosecutor Mark Reene claiming there were no ties to terrorism, when his “B-Team” failed in their efforts to get Reene to back down from his assertion that the TracFone Palestinians were plotting a terrorist attack.
No terrorist attack planned? That’s why there was a battalion of the highest red-alert order stationed on the Mackinac Bridge, this morning, when there never was anything of that level before.
Once again, don’t believe everything–or even most–of what you hear coming out of the FBI spin machine. If the Bureau claims it’s “not terrorist-related,” that usually means the exact opposite is the case.

Homaidan Al-Turki: Saudi Muslim Student Rapist Blames it on anti-Muslim Prejudice

By
Since it’s Labor Day Weekend, we thought we’d bring you some news about how the “Religion of Peace” treats its labor, here in America–“labor” which, by the way, doesn’t get the chance to unionize. In this case, the perp is one of those prized foreign students the press thinks we need so much of.
Where are the “moderate” Muslims in America when it comes to Homaidan Al-Turki, a convicted rapist?
A Ph.D. student at Colorado University in linguistics, he used Islam to justify rape of his Indonesian servant and blamed his conviction for rape on anti-Muslim sentiment. Hardly embarrassed, he still has a ridiculous website up, claiming “we are all Homaidan.” Uh, NO, we are NOT “all Homaidan.” Do you rape your slave?

Extremist Makeover: Homaidan Al-Turki & Wife Sarah, Before & After

Not a peep out of CAIR or any of America’s Islamic spokespeople condemning Al-Turki. Maybe, they are “all Homaidan.”
On June 30, Al-Turki, 37, a Saudi national, was convicted of sexually assaulting his Indonesian housekeeper, whom he kept as a slave. This went on for five years. Yesterday, he was sentenced to 27 years to life in prison by a Denver area judge. Al-Turki and his wife, Sarah Khonaizan a/k/a “Um Turki” (who was only sentenced to a few days in jail, unfortunately) brought the 24-year-old to their home in Aurora, Colorado to serve as their cook, maid, nanny, and apparently “marital aid” (or in this case, also, “marital aide”).
Al-Turki was convicted of felony counts of unlawful sexual contact by use of force, theft, and extortion, and misdemeanor counts of false imprisonment and conspiracy to commit false imprisonment.
Al-Turki’s statement to Judge Mark Hannen, at his sentencing, was simply stunning. We’d call it chutzpah:

“Your honor, I am not here to apologize, for I cannot apologize for things I did not do and for crimes I did not commit. The state has criminalized these basic Muslim behaviors. Attacking traditional Muslim behaviors was the focal point of the prosecution.”

He said it. A Muslim finally admitted rape and slavery of women are “basic Muslim behaviors.”
Given that, we think it’s hilarious that Homaidan Al-Turki has a pic of the Statue of Liberty and a statement about it on his site, with regard to his rape/slave case. We doubt Emma Lazarus ever thought of:

Give me your tired, your poor, your Indonesians yearning to be sex slaves for Muslims in Denver.

It is called the “Statue of Liberty,” isn’t it?
This is hardly the first time a Saudi has abused his/her Asian slave in the U.S. Several years ago, ,” beat and threw her Filipino slave down the stairs at her Orlando condo near Disney World. She got away with it because, hey, she’s one of almost 30,000 Saudi princes and princesses.
Diplomatic immunity, baby. It comes in handy when you’re a Muslim in Infidel Land a/k/a Dar Al-Harb.
And remember, there’s no Labor Day in the Middle East. Every day is Slave Day for Infidels in Dar Al-Islam.

USA Today Investigation Shows FBI, ICE Did Shocking Little re Foreign Students & Terrorism

By
A USA Today Freedom of Information Act request regarding college student’s financial aid records reveals alarming results. It is proof that almost five years after 9/11, the scope of FBI investigations into foreign students is far too small and limited.
And it is evidence that higher education financial aid fraud–to the tune of millions–by those possibly connected to terrorism, remains unchecked. And it is proof that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is doing basically nothing with regard to investigating fraud by foreign student aliens. The agency is hardly even in the picture.
In a program called “Project Strike Back,” created just days after 9/11, the FBI asked the Department of Education to examine financial aid records of a few hundred terror suspects already under investigation. The Bureau did not ask for the records to be turned over–only for Education to look at the financial aid records for any of the few hundred names on the list and look for student loan fraud and/or other “anomalies.”

Moreover, the FBI’s request was so small, and its further requests dwindling so much further, the FBI and Department of Education closed Project Strike Back. Some “strike back.” More like, Project Please Strike Us Again. Now, financial aid remains a ripe target of Islamic terrorists and foreign students to exploit.
A better approach would have been to mine the list for Middle-Eastern and Islamic names and search for those not yet under investigation to find student loan fraud–a common activity with terrorists (who have also exploited student visas). But the FBI didn’t dare to do the right thing and do a real, comprehensive investigation. Lest the ACLU and New York Times types come out of the wood work and squawk mercilessly. Regardless, the agency is under scrutiny, today, for Project Strike Back, anyway. It’s absurd.
USA Today’s results show how phony reporters’ claims of “data mining of millions of records” is here–and probably in most other terrorism-related investigations. Today, Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism’s website features screaming headlines about “millions” of student records being “scoured.” Unfortunately, it was NOT millions of records (but should have been). It was only a few hundred. And there was hardly any scouring.
If only the “sky were falling” as Medill School “reporter” Laura McGann (whose story was unfortunately run on the AP wire and in media outlets all over) would have you believe, then we’d be a lot safer. But we aren’t. Instead, taxpayers are left to the mercy of foreign students and those here with evil intentions.
If the “reporting” out of the Medill School is any indication of what future journalists are being taught–and it apparently is–it’s no wonder we constantly see exaggerated New York Times front page pieces attacking the most basic security measures and investigations to prevent terrorism. In this case, it is shocking how little the FBI is doing, when it’s investigation should be extensive. On the contrary, it is paltry and shameful.
And no wonder truth and reporting seem to go together like oil and water, these days.
