More FREE STUFF!: Yay! Get a Free Snuggie!

By Debbie Schlussel

You know I love free stuff.  Who doesn’t?  And in this tough economy, why not?

snuggie

Don’t hate me if it doesn’t work, but I just signed up for my free Snuggie, in exchange for signing up for Snuggie’s e-mail newsletter.  You don’t even pay shipping and handling.

In general, if something’s too good to be true, it probably is.  But I think this one is for real.  Worth a try, right?  And since it arrives in six weeks, you’ll have it just in time for the holidays and winter chill (assuming this works).

The only catch I can see is that the fine print says you’ll be called to do a survey.  Doesn’t sound like a big deal.

This offer is available to both the United States and Canada. Hawaii and Alaska excepted.

This offer is completely free, with no charge for Processing, Shipping or Handling.

Please ensure that you enter a valid phone number. You will be contacted via phone by one of our representatives to conduct a brief survey.

We may attempt to reach you via telephone to conduct a brief survey, discussing your thoughts on the product received. Our phone call will be placed shortly after receiving the product or sample, and should last no more than 15 minutes. Our call will be placed between 10AM and 5PM, Monday to Saturday. If we do not receive an answer from our first call, we will wait a few days and attempt a second. We will place a maximum of 3 calls, at which point we may contact you via email asking that you phone our offices. While this phone call is not mandatory, it fuels our promotions and helps us continue to offer free products and samples. It is for everyone’s benefit that you take our brief survey.

We will also collect data on whether the product is made of sturdy materials, is exactly as advertised, and contains no flaws and is in perfect running condition. This information is used to assess the worthiness of a product, and may be sent directly to the manufacturer.

Get Your Free Snuggie Now! (Click on the Snuggie deal, and choose to subscribe to the Suzzly newsletter when you fill out the short, quick form, then confirm in your e-mail inbox.)

(Thanks to my lifelong friend, Sandra Y, for the tip.)

CAUTION: Wash and dry that thing more than twice and all you’ll end up with is an 18-ounce ball of lint in your dryer vent.

I might use one as a drop cloth when I paint or to cover bird cage. Sure won’t catch me wearing one.

GBo on October 29, 2009 at 10:11 pm

I ordered one for me, one for my daughter and one for my mother.
Many, many months ago. No one has received one yet. I think its a bunch of bull. Has anyone really gotten one back?

Nope! Never got one, but bought one. I sleep in a chair for health reasons and use one for a blanket. I turned up the bottom a little for my feet to keep warm. Works for me. Have a great day.
