Another Stark Example of Why Arizona’s Immigration Law Needs Expansion

By Debbie Schlussel

In response to Arizona’s new immigration law, inept Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano is struggling to do damage control. And so, to cover up the fact that Arizona’s cops are doing the job she won’t do, Napolitano, on Tuesday, told Congress that our border

is as secure as it has ever been.

It’s a relative statement because the borders have never been very secure or as secure as they should be.  However, they were far more secure before 9/11 and before political correctness ruled the roost.

But regarding her statement, tell that to the child victim of Fernando Lopez-Ramirez, who was deported TWICE and still returned to rape a kid in Maryland:

Lesbionic Woman Artwork by David Lunde/Lundesigns

Frederick County authorities say a Guatemalan man who was deported twice is awaiting trial on rape and child sex-abuse charges.

Twenty-nine-year-old Fernando Lopez-Ramirez is being held without bail following his arrest in Frederick last month. His public defender couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

The county sheriff’s office says Lopez-Ramirez was deported in November 2008 after he was caught driving without a license in Frederick.

Three months later, he was apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Arizona and deported for a second time in February 2009.

Capt. Tim Clarke says Lopez-Ramirez is among about 650 people detained by the Frederick County sheriff’s office under an immigration enforcement program it joined in 2008.

Yup, the border “is as secure as ever,” because the illegal aliens are already inside of it. The child rape in this case is on the hands of Barack Obama and J-No.

She’s not doing her job, she’s not allowing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to do their jobs. And yet, she and her boss, Mr. Obama, don’t think Arizona needs to enforce its borders within the borders she refuses to enforce.

Hilarious. And oh so sad for this country.

Repeat after me:  Our border is as secure as ever.  Islam is a religion of peace.  Universal healthcare will make you healthy.  Pigs fly.  And the fat lady (well, a “lady” who looks and lives like a man) sings.  And lies.

I heard her exchange with Lindsey Graham the other day.
She stated that it was an ‘unfair question’.
But Lindsey wouldn’t cut her any slack.

And I understand that other states like Oklahoma are trying to pass similar laws. It is incredible how the politicians are ducking this. Shows the lack of real political leadership.

Little Al on April 29, 2010 at 6:01 pm

What scares you more?

A Mexican sneaking in?

A Muslim ‘legally’ immigrating to the USA?

Bob on April 29, 2010 at 6:12 pm

    Both suck, stupid.

The statement above is the quintessential palaver that the retard LIBERALS want us all to believe. Trouble is, they are all obviously UNTRUE yet because of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS run amok here in USA, we are forced to believe it. I’m so sick of it and more sick of the freaks who LIKE to pretend that all those things are true. Thanks DS…at least here we can feel we are not going insane.

Skunky on April 29, 2010 at 6:20 pm

This time before they deport this punk they should castrate him. It may keep him from raping again, but it will keep him from producing anchor babies.

Jarhead on April 29, 2010 at 6:29 pm

They picked up over 100 illegals today on the border…does Janet still think the border is secure? I thought Mexico told its people that it was not safe to come to AZ. They are still coming, knowing how much we don’t want them!!

athena on April 29, 2010 at 6:42 pm

Debbie, off topic, apologies.

A woman in a grocery store today told me that Muslim bars in Dearborn are exempt from the smoking ban on May 1st. Is this true to your knowledge? I have not heard anything about that at all. I figured you of all people would know.

sharon on April 29, 2010 at 6:43 pm

Alcohol is forbidden in Islam, so I’m guessing that there are no Muslim bars in Dearborn. For the Muslims who drink anyway (again, I’m guessing), they would do it in private, maybe with like-minded friends, away from prying Muslim eyes . . . especially if they’re preparing for jihad and are spending their final night before “martyrdom” in a strip club.

Harry on April 29, 2010 at 7:01 pm

This is just the prelude to comprehensive immigration reform AKA amnesty. I think you’re well-intentioned Debbie but its a waste of time. The illegals are already inside the country – 30 million of them and their numbers keep growing by the day.

NormanF on April 29, 2010 at 7:07 pm

Your right Norman. I think thirty million is a good estimate as well. I heard the governor of az say a thousand illegals come in every day, and my guess is its more. Thats whats so outrageous when you hear the twelve million number always used, they were using that number years ago and they act like we haven’t had more illegals come in.

Pigs fly? lol DS, you have way with words…right effen on!

Thank you Harry.

I am glad the we in Arizona got rid of J-No but were sad that she was going to DC. Why? We already knew what an incompetent arse she was here and how she screwed up this state. Now, she continues to display the same incompetence about border security as she did as governor. Now the we are doing our best to take care of the matter here, we have people and politicians bitching about the law and saying it will lead to “racial profiling”. What an indictment about our law enforcement calling them a bunch of racists no matter what the race the officer may be. Those who say such things don’t know anything about the law and make assumptions about it that are not true. For those in California (San Fran, et al) and in other states complaining about us passing this law, please send Arizona your name and address so that we can give the ILLEGAL aliens a one-way ticket to your location so you can deal with the problem yourself. I, myself, have severely grown tired of supporting the ILLEGAL aliens and being told/forced to do so by the federal government, let alone by the state. The USA is OUR country and not the property of Mexico. Now all we need to do is get rid of our “Amnesty First” senator, John McCain, and Arizona will have a good start recovering from all the damage done by the ILLEGALS and their supporters. We need to send a Senator to DC this November who will do the job that McCain won’t do, that is, to secure our border… and do it now!

PatsPFS on April 29, 2010 at 11:38 pm

I wish I knew what our end game in Afghanistan was. Cool Barry Da Prez said we wuz gonna pull out in 18 months, but then what? Who knows. Anyway my point here is that I think we should pull out of Afghanistan now, the hell with nation building with a bunch of Muslims who are more interested in tribal concerns and growing opium then with establishing a federal government. Put those combat tested troops on the border, from Texas to California and let’s put a stop to both illegal immigration and drug cartels. Fly UAV’s on the Northern border with camera’s to spot other illegals. Shut down the border. Tighten immigration rules. End this entitlement mentality. Give our troops the authority to shoot to kill if illegals won’t stop or if they are armed. BTW, I’m not a racist. I hate everyone equally.

The NWO will prevail. Nothing we say or do will prevent the rapidly encroaching age of darkness.

Graty Slapchop on April 29, 2010 at 11:53 pm

The next thing for Arizonans to do to fight illegal immigration is to get rid of John McCain.

ramjordan on April 30, 2010 at 1:50 am

I stated before a possible referendum will most likely put the Arizona law on hold until the Presidential Election of 2012.

Opponents of the law will most likely have the money to back a fully funded campaign in 2012. While this looks to put the law on ice, it does produce the opportunity for other states to initiate legislation for 2012. KING HUSSEIN OBAMA wants this fight let the people of America give him this fight. The opportunity is to put this ‘Arizona Law’ on the ballot in many states that have direct democracy by 2012. Polls generally show the law is favored by a large percentage of Americans.

How will OBAMA poll in battleground states when he opposes the ‘Arizona Law’ in these states? In 2004, Ohio went to Bush by a slim majority because of the help of the Definition of Marriage Amendment.
Wedge issues work and this why liberals hate direct democracy. Once this issue galvanizes the electorate it then forces politicians to take sides. If you are on the wrong side of the electorate such as HUSSEIN OBAMA then the chances of victory diminish.

CaliforniaScreaming on April 30, 2010 at 3:12 am

This is totally off topic. It seems that Bostom is accusing
Spencer of plagiarism. And he is serious. “The little king”

silent_rage on April 30, 2010 at 3:47 am

You’re spot-on again on this one but, although you are correct in stating Nappy won’t let i.c.e. do their job, i.c.e. doesn’t do their job either. That’s because of the lack of leadership and limpd**k mentality from Moron on down. The entire agency sucks…plain and simple.

Can’t send boys to do a man’s job!!!

IceNoMore on April 30, 2010 at 5:06 am

One more thing…two of my kids live in AZ and they think this law is the best thing to come down the pike. They both said Nappy sucked as governor and they were glad to get rid of her.

Oh yeah, before you tards out there want to label me as racist, my kids are half-Hispanic. Adios Cabrones!

IceNoMore on April 30, 2010 at 5:09 am

you did not answer the simple question – there was an “or”

btw – when did the native american people ever invite any euros to come in and take over their land?

Bob on April 30, 2010 at 8:13 am

Arizona’s law definitely needs to be expanded. I am in Ohio and see countless illegals here. 90% of the women are pregnant with their anchor babies. One of my former neighbors was deported, only to be back months later. I had at least 15 people living in a 2 bedroom across from me…mind you this was in a nice area too! I had enough and I moved somewhere that screens their applicants and does background checks. I am sick of people getting a free ride. And before somebody bitches about me being a racist or xenophobic – my husband became a U.S. citizen 2 years ago because we did all of the paperwork correctly and paid all of the fees. He also has a Master’s degree and has something to contribute to society. We work hard, pay our taxes and even pay for our medical insurance. Why the hell should I be covering for people who are here illegally? Too many people get rewarded for doing things the wrong way.

Angela04 on April 30, 2010 at 9:27 am

Angela04 – agreed with what you wrote. I unfortunately believe that there are a couple of reasons why all of this is happening. The libs are trying to get a hugh voting block out of the hispanics due to the gov’t handouts. Also, they are allowing muslims to do the same and propogate their illegal babies. BHO and the First Beotch are racist enough to allow the people of Anglo-Saxon/European Judeo-Christian background in this country to become the minority. Actually, they are not only allowing this to happen, but I wouldn’t doubt if they are actively participating in the process.

And just to make it clear, W allowed it to happen as well and was no better than our current Terrorist-In-Chief. I just don’t think W’s plan was as nefarious as BHO’s policies.

Jarhead on April 30, 2010 at 11:52 am

And now we have dolts like Shakira commenting and getting into the spotlight over this. She says “I’m not an expert on the Constitution but I know the Constitution exists for a reason,” Shakira told reporters after meeting with city officials. “It exists to protect human beings, to protect the rights of people living in a nation with or without documents. We’re talking about human beings here.”

If you’re not an expert than shut up. Further, tell all these individuals who are worried about the enforcement of the law to go through the same steps my ancestors did to become a full fledged U.S. citizen. Then, Missy, they won’t have a damn thing to worry about. STOP CHEATING THE SYSTEM AND MAKING THE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS FLIP THE BILL FOR THE ILLEGALS!!!!!

Musiccgirl on April 30, 2010 at 10:22 am

I have a simple question, where the hell is the Anti-Defamation League, why hasn’t the ADL come out and condemn all of these comments against the Arizona State Immigration Law made by the illegitimate left wing cabal? So far I haven’t heard or seen the Anti-Defamation League come out and condemn these comments by saying that the bill is racist, nazi, holocaust, this-ist, that-ist, and all sorts of bulls**t!

To you dumbass leftist-liberals, have any of you morons read the bill word-for-word? Apparently you jackasses on the left haven’t, because your mind is so warped that it’s sad and pathetic, lookit here you leftist-progresstards the bill that was passed a week ago in Arizona mimic’s US federal law, something that the federal government has failed to do with our borders. And you leftist left wingers are nothing but “demaguoges”, by calling the bill all sorts of vile, disgusting, & immature words under the sun, if I was a hispanic male, I would spit and give my middle finger to all of you leftist who are aiding and embetting 20-30 million illegal-aliens in this country, you radical leftist should be arrested or tried for sedition for what your doing to my beautiful country!

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!!!

“A nation is identified by it’s borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on April 30, 2010 at 10:36 am

And another thing before I go and move on, boy do we need to bring back “HUAC” into the political spectrum, becuase it’s disgustingly clear to me that the lawmakers are taking the side of the lawbreakers, and those of us who respect & follow the law are screwed by these corrupt and bankrupt leaders in this country from both political parties, both Republicans & Democrats alike!

If we had HUAC in this country again, we probably wouldn’t be seeing all of these illegal-alien lawbreakers roaming around the country and breaking our laws by exporting drugs into this country, etc., and the corrupt & bankrupt government wouldn’t be taking their side.

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!!!

“A nation is identified by it’s borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on April 30, 2010 at 10:45 am

PLEASE- It’s “Illegal” Immgration reform- not just Immagration.
It’s a war of words and those who are in favor of the AZ law, need to identify it as such. We are all for LEGAL immagration

ward on April 30, 2010 at 11:04 am

    We are?

How about a big fat moratorium on the whole thing?

    BTW–It’s immigration

Red Ryder on April 30, 2010 at 11:15 am

May Day is tomorrow, and there are going to be lots of illegals demonstrating. What a great time to have our law enforcement and military cordon off the areas of the protesting illegals and send them packing to Mexico. I’m sure the usual culprits will be driving them in by the bus load. Just pack these illegals back in the buses and have the military escort them to the other side of the border.

Jarhead on April 30, 2010 at 11:36 am

Must watch. The author of bill in AZ on C-Span. He fully explains the law and destroys all the liberal lies and spin being thrown out there.

CaliforniaScreaming on April 30, 2010 at 12:51 pm

One last thing. Mayor Phil “Flash” Gordon of Phoenix, who is against AZ’s illegal alien law is providing funding this weekend (May 1 and 2) for the Cinco de Mayo celebration all weekend long while he could not find any money for fireworks for the Independence Day celebration. Just goes to show which country these liberals’ loyalties lie.

PatsPFS on April 30, 2010 at 1:24 pm

Support Arizona in any way you can. Vacation there, do business there, buy items on the internet from there. show them Mainstream America is with them. it was a difficult decision in this politically correct climate. The only people complaining are either illegal or related to illegals!

Salb4 on April 30, 2010 at 5:39 pm

The problem is, corporations like Wal Mart hire these illegals, they are deported and are ordered to pay $11 million, (the cost of doing business), and then rehire more illegal aliens. Bish signed to law:

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act
Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)

which not only fines but arrests employers and CEO of hiring illegals.

Border hopping is a misdemeanor, hiring the illegals is a felony, and Arizona Governor Jan Brewer is going after misdemeanor suspects?

koajaps on April 30, 2010 at 10:51 pm

Is it true that during the Bush administration, the amount of illegals coming across was cut in half because he almost doubled the amount of border guards?
