More “24″ PC on Islamic Terror?

By Debbie Schlussel
We already told you that it appears that the upcoming season of “24″ will be a sop to extremist Muslims, rather than an accurate depiction of the war on terror. Now, there are more hints that this season’s “24″ (beginning in January) will include PC attempts to dissuade us that terrorists are generally Islamic:
This week’s announcement from the show’s producers that gay, transvestite actor Eddie Izzard has been cast as a “villain” is not comforting–especially since we already know that the plot involves terrorism and a mosque (noted in a previous casting announcement). Izzard is a White male. Unless his character is a Muslim (which appears unlikely), we see visions of the political correctness of Season 4.

Eddie Izzard: New Villain on “24″

During that season, Muslim extremists from CAIR and MPAC (Muslim Public Affairs Council) vociferously whined to FOX and “24″ producers about the plot which showed us Turkish Muslims living in L.A. and plotted to assassinate the Secretary of Defense, blow-up Air Force One with the President Aboard, and murder thousands of Americans through toxic gas releases, chemical weapons, and nuclear materiel.
As a result of their conniptions, the Muslim plot was watered down to include non-Muslim corporate criminals as part of the terror plot, not to mention an absurd, fawning on-air apology to American Muslims by star Kiefer Sutherland.
It appears that “villain” Izzard will be yet another instance in which key terror plot participants include non-Muslims.

Well, here’s another example of how Hollywood shows Americans how uninformed or comatose it is about people who would just as soon kill them first because of how “unreligious” their products are. What next, a mini-series on how our Founding Fathers laid ancient plans for 9/11?

Quote from an upcoming episode:
“Better leave my muthlim friendth alone or I’ll detonate thith dirty bomb, you bitch. And your shoeth are awful!”

I suspected as much with 24. I saw the writing on the wall that same season as Debbie. So much cutting-edge promise of a truthful depiction of Islam dissolves into waste. Remember the Tom Clancy book-turned-movie where the islamonazis are morphed into right-wing russkies? I am very dissapointed in Mr. Sutherland but remember he is the son of Donald.

It’s a sad state of affairs when a good show like “24″ has to kow-tow to these whiny pukes. What I don’t understand is why the producers don’t tell these maggots to pound sand. Oh well, that’s Hollywood for you.
As far as CAIR, MPAC, and the rest of those cells are concerned, fuck ‘em and feed ‘em fish heads!

24 has always done this. All but one season the ‘real’ terrorists turn out to be white males. When Muslim terrorists are depicted, half the time the US government is behind them to provoke a war, as has happened last season and season 2.
24 is PC. As every tv show about fighting terrorism is.
TOO TRUE. THE BEST WAS “SLEEPER CELL” ON SHOWTIME (NOW ON DVD). BUT EVEN IT HAS A MUSLIM FBI AGENT WHO IS A GOOD GUY, AS OPPOSED TO REAL LIFE MUSLIM FBI AGENT, GAMAL ABDUL HAFIZ, WHO’S A BAD GUY. STILL, SLEEPER CELL’S MUSLIM FBI AGENT IS A SUFI MUSLIM. AND THESE DAYS, THE SUFIS ARE OKAY (AND PERSECUTED BY THE REST OF ISLAM). I LIKE THEM, GENERALLY–PEOPLE LIKE SHEIKH PALAZZI AND SHEIKH KABBANI. THEY ARE PRO-ISRAEL AND ANTI-ISLAMIC TERRORISM IN ALL ITS FORMS.

…JUMPED-THE-SHARK!! 24 was fresh, provocative, and intriguing the first time they aired it in 2002. Memo to FOX… Jack Bauer needs a permanent vacation. SHOWTIME got it right last year with Sleeper Cell.

Maybe you should wait for the show to air before you start judging it.
