Even the Swiss Now Get It; When Will We?

By Debbie Schlussel
While we still don’t have tougher immigration laws–with the Senate refusing to go along with House legislation to do so–even the Swiss get it.
You remember the Swiss? They claim to be neutral, but helped the Nazis every step of the way to make sure Jews and others were murdered and their property seized. You know the Swiss? They claim to be neutral, but, today, side with Islamofascists every step of the way.
Well, now, they are getting a taste of what their absurd immigration policies have wrought–Turkish and Iraqi Muslims are the largest groups of those seeking asylum in Switzerland. And even they are sick of it.
Sunday, Swiss voters ratified laws making it more difficult for refugees seeking asylum to receive government assistance of any form–something WE need to do, but won’t. They also voted to do something we “Ugly Americans” and “nativists” have never done. They voted to block non-European unskilled workers from entering the country.

Even “Neutral,” Lefty Swiss Get it on Immigration Reform

67% of Swiss voters chose the stricter laws which make it easier to imprison and deport phony asylum seekers. Just ask the Detention and Removal Operations agents and officials (part of ICE–Immigration and Customs Enforcement) in the U.S. how difficult it is to do that here. We help these people get aid, legal help to fight us, etc., etc. ad absurdum.
Swiss Justice Minister Christoph Blocher said fewer than half of asylum requests there are valid. But here in America, far more petitions for asylum are phony. Just ask some of the better Immigration Judges, like Elizabeth Hacker in Detroit and Mahlon Hanson in Miami.
The new law is one of Europe’s strictest, so strict that the UN High Commission on Refugees (which–along with UNRWA–usually only denounces Israel) denounced it. But the law is a response to the fact that 20% of Swiss residents are foreigners, one of the highest rates in the world. For now.
Is America next? Will we do something before it is too late?
Or will we be like the Swiss who are too late to do something?

When I first read this the other day I was quite surprised by it. I wasnít surprised that the Swiss folks voted for it, I was surprised that it was even presented for a vote. I think that this type of ballot issue may come up for a vote here in the U.S. at some time in the future, but it will be too late. Either the problem of a hostile and dangerous immigrant class will be too large for such laws to be effective, or, of course, a state or federal judge will rule it unconstitutional.

We need to be highly selective about to whom to award immigrant status or asylum.
This blogger in Canada, for example, definitely deserves the asylum he seeks:

Very well said. An excellent post. I often get into a more longwinded comment. In this case I can only say the point is clear and needs no *rounding out*. = TG

Debbie: I haven’t seen this anywhere else and thanks very much for it. I am attending the American-Swiss Foundation Dinner tonight in New York and it will be a conversation starter!

Even though its a little late for the Swiss, this move is good for them.
Allowing Mozlums in our midst is anyway dangerous. Look at the new Al-Zarqawi’s statement where he wants scientists to join his jihad.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060928/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_audiotape
How else will Mozlum jihadis become scientists if they do not get taught in western schools?
I know many Mozlum students and researchers, some of whom are PhDs, who look up to Hamas, Hezbollah and Pakistan’s ISI as heroes. And all these people were western trained. Many entered as refugees from Palestine, Lebanon and other countries. Yes, they got their education from the western countries that welcomed them. And what do these naive countries get in return? Bombings, killings of kaffirs, protests, calls for violence, and ultimately conversion to islam.
Time to cut this cycle of terror at its root! Stop welcoming terrorists from terrorist countries. If the country cannot kick out the existing terrorists because of political correctness, at least stop adding to their numbers by welcoming these animals.

If the Swiss can muster what little spine they have to at least address this issue, why can’t we? Simple: it makes too much sense and it’s too logical. The government can’t operate when logic is involved; they can only function in a stste of convoluded P.C. and indecision.
We wouldn’t have 1/100th of the problems we now are faced with if we had exercised diligent scrutiny in who we allowed in and in enforcing the laws regarding prompt deportation if these pukes violate the law. Of course, that’s what happens when you have one department, Dept. of State, in charge of screening and issuing visas and, in turn, ICE and CBP having to encounter and try to remove them. I’ve always wondered what expertise the State Department has in determining immigrant/nonimmigrant eligibility for entry? Condi’s Clowns need to stick to international butt-snorkeling relations and leave the real nut-cutting to those of us trained to do it.

There has been a huge fight in Congress, the Senate wanted to grant amnesty, blanket version, and the House said no to amnest. The house said ,enforcement first.
So far what have we gotten no new immigration legislation, as if we even need it, just enforce the laws on the books.
The border with Mixico is almost 2000 miles, yet the house version would build a 700 mile fence, does anyone else see a problem with this? This is like buying a home security system and paying a premium price but neglect to include the back door into the system because we there are people going in and out of it all the time.
Currently we have 12 million illegals, they are unchecked, healthwise there has been reports of a new strain of TB which has had been in decline in recent years but with no checks and balances this could rise to epidemic proportions,… There is the Presidents plan of a combined country which includes Canada, Mexico and the United States,… Wonder why he doesn’t want to secure the border ?
This year Mexican OTR drivers will be allowed into the country with rigs that have no inspection and no maintenance or daily logs.
The Senate wanted to allow up 100 million illegal aliens into the country over the next 20 years, however, when extrapolated the number comes out much higher.
The dog and pony show put on by the House is just that, all show and no go, our country is being overrun from the south border and no one is concerned, people like that despicable, money grabbing Morris silgman Dees is taking land away from honest Ranchers/citizens and giving it the Mexicans. A real civil libertarian That DEEs guy, started his career defending the people who beat up freedom marchers, in Atlanta, 1959, ran fund raisers for George Wallace and Lester Maddox, two pillars of Southern Aristocricy.
Andrew Young a top aide to Martin Luther King Jr. joined Dees’ firm of ‘slip and fall’ lawyers, but resigned a few years later in disgust because SPLC was not about civil Rights but about making money and the means didn’t matter.
The Bottom line is if we don’t secure the borders and put muzzels on the Libs we are in way over our heads and will be a country in decline.

The Swiss do show the agenda we need to consider in our country.
Question for a legal out there–Debbie??
If someone can be in a separate “sovereign nation” in an Indian gaming casino, couldn’t we work out a deal for centers that could house the pregnant illegals if there is not the time to deport them (will we ever even do that again?)-This move would not be to deny these illegals health care (we have to give them that, right?–hmmmm) but certainly to deny them US citizenship based on geography and our consitution–we don’t need to wait years for a constitutional amendment–this could happen with just a little effort, it seemslike our good friend the sheriff demonstrated how cheaply he could house and feed the illegals they catch down there in a tent city environment. I wonder if the USA will also wait until we get overrun to 20% illegals before we decide enough is enough? I hope other media carry this story to increase awareness–nice work, Debbie.
