Why Is Anyone Surprised that Wal-Mart Caved to Muslims . . . Again?

By Debbie Schlussel
In the past, I’ve written on this site about several national security and Islamo-pandering behaviors by Walmart (used to be “Wal-mart” but the store dropped the dash relatively recently).
I’ve written about how Wal-Mart pressured janitorial contractors to hire illegal aliens and how ICE let the retail giant get away with it with a tiny fine and didn’t prosecute the executives on tape urging the use of illegals. And I’ve written about how Wal-Mart sold Nazi Death’s Head T-shirts.
And don’t forget the stores two well known spokespeople who were (and remain) apologists for Islamofascism (here and here).

I’ve also written about Wal-Mart’s Muslim/halal store in Dearbornistan, a store which not only panders to Shi’ite, Hezbollah-supporting Muslims, but which violated anti-trust and unfair trade practices laws, by assuring local Muslim merchants that it would not compete with them on prices and would charge more than they do, so as not to put them out of biz. It’s called price-fixing, and it’s illegal. That Wal-Mart store also made donations to several openly pro-HAMAS/pro-Hezbollah Islamic and Muslim-dominated Arab charities in the area.
Given all this, why the heck is anyone surprised that Walmart pandered to CAIR in Minnesota and is now allowing Muslim employees to pray on the premises? It’s not a shocker. Wal-Mart is Wal-Mosque.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) announced today that a Wal-Mart store in that state has agreed to accommodate a Muslim employee’s right to pray in the workplace.
CAIR-MN said the religious accommodation came after its intervention in the case of a Muslim Wal-Mart employee who was reportedly fired for violating a new supervisor’s ban on prayer during work breaks. A previous supervisor had allowed the worker to perform his daily prayers.
Following discussions between CAIR-MN and local and national representatives of Wal-Mart, the Muslim worker was re-hired and allowed to perform his prayers during breaks.
“We appreciate Wal-Mart’s handling of this case and its willingness to accommodate the religious practices of employees,” said CAIR-MN Civil Rights Coordinator Zahra Aljabri.

Ok, Deb let me get this straight…
You are against any employee ,regardless of faith, praying on store premises. So if a Christian employee wanted to pray on the premises, you would be against that also.

Maybe if it didn’t involve shoes being removed and being a distraction it wouldn’t be an issue. Most Christians don’t make a spectacle and aren’t militant. Perhaps these folks were.

Norman, one is not allowed to pursue personal activities on company time. But in Wal-Mosque’s case, apparently there’s an exception for Muslims. Which means other employees have to work harder for a Muslim who has turned towards Mecca.
We’re lectured to be respectful and fair towards them. But they owe us infidels no consideration. Debbie’s just reporting how Wal-mart is benefiting Muslims at the expense of America. Deal with it!

We have seen this in other places, such as Swift. Moslems are accorded privileges that are not extended to other employees. Also, how does one accomodate the 5 times a day prayer routine during a normal working day? Even if one works a regular full time shift, one only gets two breaks and a lunch. If the employee managed to cram in at least four prayers into this alloted period, onc would still be left. Also, due to lack of space, these prayers would have to be performed in a break room. Is it really fair to force other employees to endure a very loud and ostentacious prayer ritual during their mandatory breaks from work? Finally, would the employee really be able to perform his or her job as well as an employee who actually took their breaks/rest periods, instead of engaging in a prayer ceremony? Even if the Moslem employee performs below expectations, will the employer even dare to terminate such an employee, and risk a retaliation suit?

If I’m not mistaken, that much slave rag worn in that manner is a jilbab rather than a hijab. Anyway the drugstore where I buy beer on my way home from work has hired a young girl who wears a head covering like the photo in the story, with otherwise Western dress. They haven’t had her work the registers, I’ve only seen her stocking shelves. Just freakin’ wonderful. If she starts working the registers I may seek out a pork product to purchase also to round out my purchase of alcohol.

I can see your point if all 5 prayers had to be done during the work day, however that is not the case. The 5 prayers are spread out during the day with the morning prayer done before the work day starts. Only one of the prayers, the noon prayer, has to be done during the work day. All others can be completed after work hours with the excpetion of winter time when the days are shorter and one more prayer sometimes falls before 5:00 PM. The other misconception is that muslim prayer is loud. Prayer can be done in total silence. The only thing that might be of an annoyance to others is the need to kneel down for parts of the prayer. I really dont see why this is a big issue, as long as the person praying doesnt make a scene out of it. I might be partial to this view because I am Muslim. At my job during lunch I find an empty conference room and just do my prayer in less than five minutes and no one really seems to care. Anyway I hope you read this with an open mind and possibly change your view on this subject.

Debs.. You American’s are so dumb. When will you realise that the world has changed? Its not just all about ‘white’ people, look around the world..theres so many different religions, colours and faiths. STOP TRYING TO JUDGE OTHER PEOPLE AND LIVE YOUR OWN F**** LIFE!!!!! You are VERY sad.

I am sorry most of the comments are from people that think America is still
free and that everyone has the same rights, Walmart will fire White ,Hipanic or Asian if they pray at work, a Bible is not allowed, but Islamic can wear their
garb, use the Koran, and pray at work, and they make allowances for them and only for them. I work for them and we have one who works with us and he has broken so many rules, but he gets a slap on the wrist and told to not do it again.
Walmart is pro- Islamic and very anti- American.
We are being lulled in to sleep while Islam, takes over control of the U .S.A.
