If your young daughter (or niece or granddaughter) is a fan of Miley Cyrus and her alter ego, “Hannah Montana”–or if your kid was watching this past weekend’s “Teen Choice Awards” on Nickelodeon–you probably weren’t too happy to see the 16-year-old idol of young girls grind a stripper pole on the kids’ awards show. Oh, and–thank Heaven for small favors–the stripper pole idea was thought up and designed by Cyrus and her father-manager, Billy Ray Cyrus (one of Sean Vannity’s choice “Great Americans”). As if the sexually suggestive photos the two took together for Vannity Fair, last year, weren’t bad enough.
Now that the young teen thinks she should pimp stripper poles on young girls, perhaps she should change her name to something more appropriate, like Miley Virus or Hannah Chlamydia. Parents beware.
If becoming a ho is how a young performer-ette makes her “transition” into big-time coming-of-age star, why stop with the pole? Why not make the “change” complete, with a Billy Ray-directed sex tape of his daughter? Hey, it worked for Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian (who was welcomed and gushed over by Mr. Cyrus’ buddy Sean Vannity on his FOX News show).
Mommy, Mommy, can I have a stripper pole? Hannah Montana had one on Nickelodeon. Maybe Daddy can help me design it like Miley’s dad did.
