Terrorists? What Terrorists?: Incredibly Clueless “Serpenthead” Quotes of the Day

Michael “” Chertoff, once again–actually, twice again–displays why Abraham Lincoln gave good advice when he counseled against speaking and confirming you are a dummy.
* On Monday, he said this:

It chills me sometimes to think there are people a half a world away who are spending the same period of time in a cave, trying to figure out how to kill us.

“See No Terrorism, Hear No Terrorism”:

The Michael “Serpenthead” Chertoff Story

No, what’s really chilling is that there’s a person heading what’s supposed to be “Homeland Security” who still doesn’t know that those people are NOT “a half a world away.” They are here, Dhummi. Were the “a half a world away”? Were the “Lackawanna Six” “a half a world away”? Was Nuradin Abdi, who wanted to blow up a shopping mall in Ohio and just pleaded guilty, “a half a world away”? Is “a half a world away”? Are , the two Smiling Muslim Mugshot “Just Fireworks” terrorists caught Saturday Night on a highway in South Carolina with pipe bombs “a half a world away”? Was “a half a world away”? Were the JFK plotters “a half a world away”?
I could go on forever, but you get the point. Too bad the “Serpenthead” does not, since he’s one of the ones who most needs to. Maybe that jibes with his little , here in Detroit. They are their congregants are under investigation for various ties to and money-laundering for terrorists. But they really couldn’t be bad because, after all, they’re not within his geographical distinction for terrorists, “a half a world away.” Gee, where were Mohammed Atta and his 18 “co-workers” on 9/11? I guess they weren’t terrorists, after all, because, hey, they were not “a half a world away.”
As my friend, the brilliant patriot Ruth S. King, writes:

Un-fricking-believable, this guy, Mr. “Gut Feeling.”
* Yesterday, there was this BS from Chertoff on the :

“Whatever turns out to be the case with these two individuals, it underscores the importance of people being alert,” Chertoff said. “Even if this turns out to be benign, if it turns out not to be a big deal, this is the kind of alertness and response that creates real homeland security for the people of this state as well as the country as a whole.” . . .
Chertoff said he would not speculate as to whether the incident is related to an act of terrorism.
“It is up to the court system now to resolve it,” he said.

If he’s too wimpy and PC to see this as terrorism, just what is terrorism? Pipe bombs are just fashion accessories for Muslims? Just curious. Pipe bombs can be “benign”?
Well, at least he’s consistent. He’s not calling these guys “terrorists” because by his geographical definition, they simply can’t be. After all, the are not “a half a world away.” So how could they possibly be terrorists?
Memo to Next President: Do Not Hire Incompetent Harvard Lawyer to Head Homeland Security. Duh.
Chertoff, You’re Doin’ a Heckuva Job.

Serpenthead is just parroting Jorge “ROP” Arbusto’s “We are fighting them over there, so we don’t have to fight them here” line. He is a very loyal serpent.

President Hillary Clinton will probably hire New York City Police Commissioner, Ray Kelly, to head Homeland Security.

What the hell are DHS and the FBI doing as regards the SC “pipe bombers”. Dan Riehl and local law enforcement/news stations are the ones who discovered the Mauritanian/Canadian roommate connection. Funny, I haven’t heard about any arrests in Canada. Who’s on this case? Hello? Anyone home?
Now, we conveniently get an “acid bomb” thrown at one of the six non-flying imams (see LGF). CAIR has a 10-PAGE press release already out. Wow, that was fast.
Am I the only paranoid idiot who believes this is some sort of diversion from the SC case?

It’s hard to believe that Serpenthead is actually supposed to be brilliant. How is it that such a brilliant, superlative, etc., individual comes out with such idiotic statements? Has he no shame? It’s our safety he’s playing with. It’s not as if he’s Sec. of HHS, HUD, Education or other unnecessary department. Is he anorexic, or what?

These are quotes from Chertoff, I’m sure he wouldn’t have written this, but I don’t think (at least I hope) these are his actual views (i.e. that there aren’t poeple right here in the U.S. that want to kill us).
The agents that do the investigations (primary ones in this “fireworks” case would be the FBI and locals) don’t need prompting from the Secretary of DHS, or FBI bosses to to pursue terrorism leads and cases. It helps though if the top is clued in.

What you wrote above about the ICE movie makes me want to gag ? again. A while back I was seeing a woman who’d been married to a Saudi and had spent some ‘time in the desert.’ While there, she witnessed an ‘honor killing’ ~ 14 year old had put on some lipstick ~ beaten to death. I was informed that my revulsion to that barbarism was just because I didn’t respect the Arab culture. She told me about a kite festival in Pakistan where some morons who’d embedded glass and razor-wire in their kite strings accidentally cut the throats of some little girls there. Dead innocents. Another idiot, celebrating with his AK-47 but evidently not aware of the laws of gravity, ended up killing a young boy as bullets only up so far ? and then they drop, reaching ‘terminal velocity.’ She told me this story, which I confirmed, … as though she was mentioning the raccoon by the pond. But my former acquaintance would bristle and bitch about ‘collateral damage’ caused by the bad, bad US military.
Like I told her in parting, liberals are retards with razors.
As for this:” Whatever turns out to be the case with these two individuals, it underscores the importance of people being alert,” Chertoff said ~ where do we begin? Is he suggesting the neighbors did or did not do the right thing in NOT reporting their suspicions? By their own words, they saw suspicious stuff and did absolutely nothing. Only good police work caught these bad guys and that only because they were stopped for speeding. What if the two smilers had obeyed the speed laws? Which church or mall or school or bus would these guys have tossed pipe bombs into? To say they were after the Navy base nearby is pure speculation.
Ambiguous double-speak from DHS leadership is going to get more people killed. People not reporting their suspicions ASAP is going to get more people killed.
Forgive my shameless plug here, but I have a blog that deals with training ‘civilians’ so we don’t all end up dead or dhimmi.
