Terrorism FBI Priority?: Latest Jimmy Hoffa Dig Says Otherwise

Not far from where I live is Machus Red Fox (now Andiamo’s), the restaurant from which Teamster’s President Jimmy Hoffa disappeared in 1975.
I like a good mob story as much as the next person. But living in Detroit, rumors and resulting dig-ups of back-yards looking for Jimmy Hoffa are as common as Paris Hilton bed partners. And equally as valuable to society. As in, not very.
They never find the former Teamster’s Union president’s body, either. It’s the boy who cried wolf with a giant sinkhole of taxpayer dollars to go with it.

Who Killed Jimmy Hoffa? Who Cares; “Tony Jack” Giacalone

The FBI–nationally and in Detroit–repeatedly claims that its number one priority is fighting terrorism. So, why on earth is the FBI using tens of hundreds of agents–from Detroit, Chicago, AND Washington, DC–to scour a farm in suburban Detroit looking for Jimmy Hoffa’s body, over the next two weeks. No expense is being spared by the feds, and it is an incredible waste of resources. FIFTY(!) FBI agents are digging up the farm to look for Hoffa. It’s absurd.
We predict that the FBI will fail to find Hoffa’s body during this latest search. But, even if they do find his body, what purpose is served–30 years later–in doing so? Even then, it will be nothing more than tax dollar waste in the name of Cosa Nostra folklore.
There can be only one purpose in this Jimmy Hoffa exhumation circus: media coverage, PR, and face-time for the FBI and its Special Agent in Charge . This whole affair is a symptom of his unquenched edifice complex. We’ve written about Roberts and his claims that terrorism is his office’s number one priority–a phony excuse to get taxpayers to shell out for a new Detroit FBI building.
But clearly, terrorism is NOT the priority. Or there wouldn’t be the time, the money, the many agents to spare, going over every inch of the Milford Farm in the quest for the Holy Grail of Hoffa’s rotted corpse. It’s a sexy story, but worthless in terms of justice served. It’s not the job of taxpayers to fund the FBI’s wish to superimpose itself on “The Godfather” long after that age has ended.

Daniel Roberts: Look At Me, I’m in the FBI & I’m Wasting Your Tax $s Searching for Hoffa AND TV Cameras; Like Way Totally Cool

What is a bigger threat to our safety, today: another 9/11 attack/nuclear weapons from Iran OR the deceased Anthony “Tony Jack” Giacalone, Anthony “Tony Pro” Provenzano, and assorted other now-elderly or -dead mobsters who might have assassinated Hoffa?
Since the FBI doesn’t know the correct answer to that, we should all be worried.
The dissapearance of Jimmy Hoffa allegedly resulted in a fatal trip to a salami factory in Cleveland, the end zone in Giants Stadium, underneath a backyard swimming pool in central Michigan, a home in Detroit, and now a farm in a Detroit suburb. But they are all fantasy, including–likely the last one. What happened to Jimmy Hoffa? Who cares. It’s an endless chase with no pay-off even if there is a pay-off.
The Jimmy Hoffa investigation should have ended. Far too much time has been spent on it. And it’s time for it to be relegated, forever, to American mob mythology or the professionals who write “The Sopranos.”
America cannot afford to solve every mystery no matter how much desired media storm it creates for Dan Roberts and the Federal Bureau of Irrelevant Investigation.

Maybe it’s all a ruse. Maybe they’re REALLY looking for Adrianna La Cerva or Ralph Cifaretto.
It’s funny when you think about it, though. If they do find him, we’re going to spend all this money diiging him up, only to put him back in the ground again.

Did you notice the search method in the photo?
They are using prodding rods which the FBI agents push in the ground about six inches, or until they find a rock, then they dig a few feet with a back-hoe. Ok, let’s examine this. They will most likely hit a hard object, such as a rock or perhaps some hard clay, or other Items found naturally in the ground. If they actually luck out and a bone fragment that is only six inches underground that has not been eaten by bugs after 30 years, the steel rods would probably break the bone fragments and therefore go unnoticed. Ground up fragments stuck on such rods when pulled out of the ground would look like, well, dirt.
This is a show. If the FBI really wanted to examine a specific place, they would have anthropologists digging with spoons and brushes.

Hoffa or Terrorists?

A co-worker and I were discussing (and laughing about) the news overkill last night concering the Hoffa dig out in Milford. We remarked that the FBI was spending WAY too much time on this while terrorists were probably running about

I think they need to search for Mac Davis.

I hate to say it but I am truly embarrassed by what once was a great country. Both the FBI and the CIA are damn liberal organizations now (how the hell did that happen??) that only want to bring down the current administration. This is no longer the country I grew up in and I am ashamed…
On a good note, one of the treasures of Detroit, the Twistin’ Tarantulas, are playing here tonight in Minneapolis at Lee’s Liquor Lounge…

What a waste of time and money. Jimmy Hoffa is dead period. The next thing they will do is call in Geraldo Rivera to cover the damn thing.
They should be investigating why Presidente Fox is allowed to tour the United States this week promoting reconquista in violation of our laws.
A Foreign official is advocating the overthrow of the United States of America on College Campuses and the State Department is silent.

Perhaps the Feds will stumble onto the body of Judge Crater instead. We’re all in deep shit if the CIA and the FBI have become the Liberal ass-wipes they appear to be these days. Lord knows our Political Leaders (snicker snicker) don’t have the stones to make the tough calls on terrorism. With douche-bags such as Teddy Kennedy leading the Senate I can guarantee another 9/11. When is this great country going to wake up?

2 things about this article hit a very sensitive nerve on yours truely…
1st of all, although ive been living outside of my country for many many yrs now, i must admitt that i happen to be from Iran myself, and if there is 1 thing that i believe the average American needs to learn, is that America will NEVER be attacked in her own soil by another country in this world…i dare say this DESPITE the 9/11 events!
Infact it is my believe that the Americans have to learn sooner or later, to be rid of their morronic ideas & PARANOIAS about being by this & that country or regime, which mind u, is a by-product of the Cold War propagandas by the NeoCons in the States!
I should also at the same time say this, that obviously im totally against the regime in Iran that’s been existing since 1979, and therefore ive been living in Denmark(Europe)eversince the start of the 80’s! But ironically from own 1st hand experiences i’ve UNFORTUNATELY also seen the same type of “isolationistic” tendencies within the Americans, as of those radical Islamic monkies!!!
The only way to dismantle any regimes in the world that presents a threat against the democratic West, is imho by showing a healthy sign of Humanitarianism by the West…almost like a “being-overfriendly contest” against these clandestine regimes…
To think that u can ONLY do that by presenting them a MIGHTY military force, is utter hog-wash!
That mentality belongs to the WorldWar 2 era for god’s sake!
And now to the 2nd point of the article that seemed to provoke this reaction from this rather unknown user here, is, why in god’s name can’t ppl respect the tragic circumstances under which Jimmy Hoffa was killed??
Clearly there were BIGGER political names that were involved with 1st of all marginalizing & then anhilating Hoffa, and it would still be of great relevance, even to this day–in my humble opinion–to see which political force that stood behind TOTALLY DiSMANTLiNG a man of his calibre, because obviously he was the working man’s ‘voice’!
[oops im sorry, i just realized that i may be writing these very words in a site where hardcore “anti reds” come in & speak]
Here is a hoping that the world would NEVER become a place like the US because of the appearantly horrible BLiNDNESS that exists in this nation among her ppl!!!
Mind u, i both LOVE & HATE America, just like MANY ppl on this planet living outside the country..& that’s only because the US is such a schizophrenic nation!
May god bless us all!
Best Regards,
