Bring Arizona Law to the Rest of the Union; Fire ICE, Napolitano

By Debbie Schlussel

Many readers are asking me to comment on Arizona’s new law doing the job that some Americans–the feds–won’t do.

Arizona Has to Do the Job DHS’ Lesbionic Woman, ICE’s Moron Won’t Do

I didn’t think it needed comment because, of course, I support it.  Why wouldn’t I?  It’s essentially a law deputizing and requiring Arizona local and state cops to enforce immigration laws already on the books.  And I’m not worried about threats of boycotts.  Won’t hurt the state.  Most Americans support what Arizona is doing.  If illegal aliens boycott the state, well . . . that’s the aim, isn’t it?  And Mexico’s President condemning the law–ha, what a joke!  He’s just mad that he’ll actually have to feed and support his people instead of Arizonans.  Look at his immigration laws–much tougher than Airzona’s.  The only reason Arizona needed to do this is because we have a giant federal government agency charged with enforcing these laws that just isn’t doing the job. (And because the current head of Homeland Security didn’t do her job when she headed Arizona.)

Agents at ICE–Immigration and Customs Enforcement–have repeatedly told me they are not allowed to arrest any illegal aliens unless they are violent criminals.  Moreover, even to arrest those, they have to fill out about seven tedious forms AND get approval from ICE headquarters in Washington.  That isn’t how a nation polices its borders and interior and enforces immigration laws.  It’s how a government intentionally invents extra layers of bureaucracy to ensure that large numbers of new Obama voters and workers for greedy businesses who don’t want to pay Americans a decent wage are allowed to enter the country and stay here.  The Obama-niks don’t want Arizona’s law because it betrays their claim that we need amnesty for illegal aliens because we “can’t” solve the problem.  Uh, Barack, Yes. We. Can.  Arizona will enforce the law and show we need to send illegal aliens packin’– not roll-out the amnesty welcome mat–to tackle the problem.

If ICE agents were allowed to do their jobs hassle-free, Arizona wouldn’t need this law.  And ICE agents would be national heroes, rather than the much derided, demoralized men with guns and badges that they are.  But Obama’s people–Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano and ICE Moron John Morton–have emasculated them even worse than was the case under Bush.  Moreoever, the Obama administration made it easier for illegal aliens to seek asylum and disappear into the U.S.  before trial.  It’s fitting that while President Obama is busy condemning the Arizona law enforcing laws he is duty-bound and swore to enforce but won’t, his ICE people are trying to hire Harold Hurtt, a man who opposes local cops enforcing immigration laws, to head up ICE’s program working with local cops to enforce immigration laws.

And Arizona can’t take it anymore.  Their borders are overrun.  In 2005, when I guest-hosted the Jim Bohannon radio show on Westwood One, one Arizona ranch owner told me that 500 illegal aliens–many of them with knives and other weapons–would trespass on his land and into the U.S. EVERY SINGLE DAY.  And he told me his property was overrun with their trash, from used condoms to rusty knives to fecal material and other such lovely “treasure.”

And Arizona’s law needs to be exported to the rest of the states in the Union, if only legislators and governors had the spine that Gov. Jan Brewer has.  I like that woman.  She’s one tough lady.  She’d eat the far-lesser Sarah Palin for breakfast.

If only we had this law in Michigan, and cops had the guts to start clamping down on the thousands of Muslim illegal aliens here, plenty of them known Hezbollah operatives, like Mahmoud Youssef Kourani, who came to the Detroit area, illegally from Mexico and admitted to working here for Hezbollah, to provide it material support (part of his guilty plea).  But, sadly, in Michigan, legislators don’t have the guts and don’t want to upset Muslims.  A friend of mine, a then-State Representative, introduced at my suggestion, a number of bills limiting the rights of illegal aliens.  But the “conservative” he sought to co-sponsor the bills on the particular committee in question, Leon Drolet, balked.  He wanted to apply the same rights to illegal aliens as to U.S. citizens.  He now heads the Michigan Taxpayers Association and is running for the Michigan Senate.  Spineless and cowardly.

If only this law was in place in Maryland, where there is Casa de Maryland, which uses your tax dollars to teach illegal aliens how to resist ICE agents.  Instead, Casa people are welcome visitors at La Casa Blanca d’Obama.

The Maryland case of Florinda Fabiola Lorenzo-Desmillian–over which Casa de Maryland is now whining–highlights why we need local police to do the job our feds are prohibited from doing per Barack Obama’s orders.  She was arrested by local police, not ICE–in whose custody she is now. But not before she gave birth to THREE anchor babies.

A 26-year-old married mother of three, Florinda Fabiola Lorenzo-Desmillian, was arrested last Tuesday by undercover officers for selling $2 phone cards out of her apartment window. . . .

Lorenzo-Desmillion is a stay-at-home-mother with three small children who are American citizens. Her husband works construction and her supporters say she was just trying to make a little money to help pay for things.

Tuesday, she was arrested, taken to jail and is now fighting to stay in the U.S.

She may be a “stay-at-home” mom, but she’s also a criminal for violating immigration laws and overstaying her visa.

Yes, Arizona is not the only state over-run with illegal aliens.  They are everywhere, taking jobs from hard-working, desperate Americans and undercutting wages.  They are committing crimes against Americans–violent crimes.  And they need to go.

If the feds won’t do it, the States need to pick up the slack.  And Arizona has bravely taken the lead.  Time for everyone to follow.

All across America cities and counties are laying off police, firefighters, teachers etc. due to lack of funds.
Much of these funds are depleted due to us having to spend them on illegals.

We have to pay for their housing, medical care, food stamps, WIC, etc.
And that’s in addition to Americans being out of work due to the illegal taking their jobs.

Praise God for Arizona, we are seeing at least a tiny glimmer of common sense in this country.
It gives me a little bit of hope things will turn around.

SMG45ACP on April 27, 2010 at 2:04 pm

Good luck in getting rid of the 30 million or so illegal aliens in the country. The federal government lacks the will to secure the borders much less than to ensure America survives as a nation. Arizona’s initiative is commendable of course but its too little, too late.

The decline of America continues – and the country isn’t desperate enough to save itself.

NormanF on April 27, 2010 at 2:06 pm

Why don’t we just call it “slavery?” Come in as an illegal, and be subjected to illegal coercion as well. Those employers, the masters, are getting a pass? This country lost almost 600,000 people during the Civil War. Apparently it was for nothing. So Janet N. has allowed slavery to flourish in America, and she’s not going to ruin a good thing for those new slave masters. It is a slave trading system by another name. But for public consumption, politicians call it “illegal immigration” instead.

Excellent work…just excellent. I’ve passed this on twice already, not done yet.

Agree with your every word here.

The bottom line is this- if it is bad for this nation, liberals are 100% for it. There own childrens futures be damned-they will just be collateral damage.

duane on April 27, 2010 at 2:22 pm

With all of the Tsars BHO has appointed, I have one more to add. How about a Tsar of Deportation – the sole purpose being to deport all illegals that are processed through our prisons. Once they are determined to be illegal, throw them on the next cattle car train back to Mexico.

This really makes me want to move to Arizona once this lawsuit BS goes through the courts and the new law is hopefully determined to be OK. I suggest the next immigration law should allow private security firms to get a $1000.00 bounty for each illegal they bring in. $1000.00 is a pittance compared to how much we spend on these illegal invaders/terrorists/ freeloaders/thieves/degenerates/murderers …

Jarhead on April 27, 2010 at 2:28 pm

This law is BS! My children are half-Asian, but look hispanic to some people. If this insane law is passed in every state across the country then my little ones will have be fearful of walking down the street without an ID or possibly be detained until one is provided. What country is this?

In South Africa, black people had to carry papers everywhere they went during Apartheid. Before WWII, Jews in Germany had to wear the Star of David, whereever they went (that is why my relatives fled to the US-they were not Jewish but hated what was happening). Our country is headed toward a white vs. them mentality and its scary.

All my relatives and my dh’s relatives came here legally, as should everyone–but there are better ways to go about fighting illegal immigration AND getting USA funds back: Go after the rich who hide their assets in foreign banks to avoid paying taxes here. Go after the companies that hire Illegals and fine them excessively. Build that wall on the border!

Lee in the US on April 27, 2010 at 2:31 pm

Lee – Waaaaaa, Waaaaaa, Waaaaaaa… go cry somewhere else. The MAJORITY of the American people have spoken and AZ now has the best law in the land to fight the illegal invasion of my country. How about reading the law before spouting off your uniformed views.

You also wrote that it will be white vs them – you are really a racist a##hole for writing that. And for comparing us to the Nazis and Apartheid someone should ‘educate’ you.

BTW, if you don’t like the law, leave the country. No one is forcing you to stay.

Jarhead on April 27, 2010 at 2:46 pm

Jarhead, are you saying that in Nazi Germany, ALL people in Germany including “visitors & non-German “citizens” were NOT required to carry Identification? i.e “your papers please”
So how is that different than what we are doing in America today? DID THE founders NOT put in the 4th article and amendment to protect the American people from unlawful search, seizure and arrest? Does this AZ law NOT violate the 4th amendment?
How is arbitrarily authorizing the cops to ask ALL people “Give me your Papers?” any different than what the Gestapo, Stasi & KGB did?
I normally agree with you, but in this debate, you appear to be taking the side of Tyrants…

Who cares? on April 27, 2010 at 5:02 pm

Who cares – I understand the point that you are trying to make, but comparing Nazi tactics to Americans trying to enforce immigration policies is something that I cannot pass by without a comment. The Nazis did it for their tyrannical reasons – we are doing it to protect our citizens. I know you can come up with a better way to compare our laws – I see this as the will of the people, not the tyrants.

BTW – all US citizens have at least a Social Security card and a drivers license/ID to drive, cash checks… we already have papers. Also, when you travel to a foreign country, you need a passport. When I have traveled around the world, I have learned you NEVER go anywhere without it. If these illegals cannot supply any paperwork (within a reasonably short period of time), give them a one-way ticket back to Mexico.

We should take a page from the Koreans and make a DMZ that is very deadly to these illegal invaders on the Mexican border. Land mines, machine guns, sonic and forced energy weapons should be used on the border to deter these menaces from breaking our laws.

Jarhead on April 27, 2010 at 5:44 pm

JH– Thank you for making my point…You say: “The Nazis did it for their tyrannical reasons – we are doing it to protect our citizens.”
Are you telling me that Tyrants NEVER justify their actions and “laws” in the name of protecting our “citizens”?
Did the Nazi’s & Stasi NOT tell their citizens, the reason they did it was “to protect the citizens?”
If you go to the SS website, they will tell you that a SS number is NOT required to live or work in the USA…EVERYTHING IS VOLUNTARY & the powers that be want you to “volunteer” to be their slave and abandon your God given un-a-lien-able rights. Why does the second 13th amendment say NO slavery or involuntary servitude? Are they NOT one and the SAME? It was so that citizens could “volunteer” to be slaves to the government, and Lord knows, we have plenty of volunteers who are willing to do as they are told, not ? authority & who do not ? their [flawed] premise that our rights come from “the state” and NOT from God”…

Bob Porrazzo on April 27, 2010 at 3:46 pm

What a Trauma Hound. Why is it that noone pays attention. This law mainly is directed towards people involved or suspected in criminal activity. Especially you being a legal citizen need to start researching how many crimes are being commited by illegal immigrants. Hey, heres a news flash for you, they just don’t target white people. They target anyone, anytime, anywhere. You seem so worried about your kids. How will you feel when one of these people that cross the border end up robbing one of your children, or worse yet, raping or killing them. Then will you change your tune? Will you feel that your protests are justified then. I’m sure you will think that won’t happen. Well, start looking up statisitcs. You never know, one day someone you know might be one, and not by anyone in law enforcement. By someone your supporting.

DnlShane on April 28, 2010 at 12:56 am

Lee: It starts with eliminating the “workforce” supply that feeds the companies that hire illegals. Then they have no choice but to hire U.S. Citizens or LEGAL aliens or go belly up.

Quit making this personal about your kids being mistaken for illegals.

IceNoMore on April 28, 2010 at 4:24 am

[Debbie – If only this law was in place in Maryland]

Ah, but it already is. In Michigan and everywhere else. Does this sound familiar?

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Since illegals are a huge threat to public safety, doesn’t this apply? Liberals should support people arming themselves, forming militias and taking action against the illegals since they are always claiming that this refers to militias. Find the illegals and deport them yourselves.

I_AM_ME on April 27, 2010 at 2:34 pm

The whole profiling debate is really getting beyond ridiculous.

I read an AP story late last week in which an Arizona teen complained that he could be stopped by the police for ‘nothing’. He went on to say that he has several friends who are illegal and that he was also worried about them being deported. If he’s hanging out with illegals, he deserves to be stopped. If they’re illegal, they should be deported.

Another news story involved a US citizen who was recently stopped and detained at a weigh station in AZ as a suspected illegal. He wasn’t released until his wife showed up with his birth certificate. Needless to say, he and his wife were outraged. Problem is, despite being born here 30 years ago, he could barely speak english – and was initially detained because he couldn’t answer basic questions about the load he was carrying.

When there’s 450,000 illegal mexicans in Arizona, the best way to find them is to start asking poeple who LOOK like Mexicans for their ID. I don’t see the problem.

It works in similar situations: A minute percentage of airline travelers have been proven to be terrorists. In order to figure out who they are, the authorities have established procedures to treat anyone who LOOKS like an airline traveler as if they COULD be a terrorist.

So you might get stopped if you look like a Mexican – from a human rights perspective, it sure beats setting up machine guns and shooting them as they pour over the fence, doesn’t it?

Steve on April 27, 2010 at 3:29 pm

How about machine gun towers and napalm?

The Terrorist's Advocate on April 27, 2010 at 3:41 pm

As a Jew, I take great offense to those who invoke the Nazi treatment of Jews as some sort of parallel to the situation in Arizona.

The underlying purpose of the Arizona measure is not based on some theory that non-citizens of any race, or particularly Hispanics, are inferior human beings. The underlying purpose, plain and simple, is that they are here illegally. You suffer from mental illness if you cannot grasp the difference between this law and Nazi dress codes and ghettos.

The US is the most generous nation of the world. We spend billions of taxpayer dollars on Africa, Central and South America, and who knows where else. To call us racist in our charity is simply ignorant at best, a lie at worst.

Charity has its limits. You cannot simply move into our house uninvited, and act like you own the place.

Jewish Marksman on April 27, 2010 at 3:48 pm

Biggest problem with charity: you open your wallet and pull out a $20 bill…but they see a $50 in there…they expect that $50 instead. Why should you have more than them?…just cause you earned it?
Very few of those who receive charity truly appreciate it. They always look for and expect more.
You’ll notice that no-one’s breaking down the gates to Mexico.

How odd that FL has lost 1,000,000 jobs and it is estimated to also have 1,000,000 undocumented workers and the largest slave trade nationwide to boot. If there is any state in the union needing this law and a border patrol expansion it is FL where it seems everyone flocks for easy to obtain service jobs.

Atlee Yarrow on April 27, 2010 at 4:31 pm

I had to come back to this one as I received an update just afterwards regarding Western Union in what seems to be a violation of the law too:

America’s banking industry is aiding and abetting lawbreakers and there appears to be no one in Washington, D.C. interested in conducting an investigation into this corruption.

At least now when people say America is RACIST – they will be telling the truth- OBAMA admin is racist- favoring any brown skin person from where ever, no matter how anti American, no matter how hateful or violent or illegal- OVER and above any native USA white persons

he will tax on tanning -only white people
he will protect avowed enemies like Muslim infiltrators and citizen traitors
and he will protect and defend illegal MEXICANS- over and above white and legal brown people’s RIGHTS to security.
He is hoping for future votes from BROWN people-in his mind the ‘oppressed’ that need his savior-ness, so he can correct the past, our glorious history of doing the right thing morally that he sees as evil and worthy of destruction.

side note to stupid MECHA Mexicans telling us to “go back to Europe” –where do you think your Mexican SPANISH speaking ass came from? yes sir EUROPE– SPAIN– unless you can prove you are a full blood INDIAN (who Mexicans themsleves discrimnate and act racist to) you are also from EUROPE baby- that’s right your momma f**ked a Spaniard and those whiter ones rule YOUR COUNTRY– go HOME and fix Mexicao instead of breaking USA

Interesting how tough Mexico is on illegals but wants to water down the US laws.

michman on April 27, 2010 at 5:30 pm

For all advocates of open boarders- leave you doors unlocked tonight. Anyone wanting to enter your home should have that right to enter and live there. If they need your food or other resources, allow them to take it. Homes have lockable doors and alarm systems for a reason, why should we treat our national security less seriously than we treat our own personal security? You have locks on your doors to control who may enter. Would you allow anyone to enter your home that you do not know who may potentially harm your family or steal your possessions? Like I said, if you are for open boarders- remove the locks from your home and open it up to everyone.

duane on April 27, 2010 at 5:46 pm

The police in Arizona can only take the next step after having made legal contact with someone. That translates into having stopped someone for something else. It really is no different that a police officer stopping you for another offense, and then noting that you do not have your seat belt on. This is the old cheap labor/cheap votes coalition stoking the flames once again. A rancher being executed, Phoenix being a kidnapping capitol, property invasions, theft, and robberies rising to epedemic proportions mean nothing to La Raza(a nice Neo-Fascist Organization)when compared with the bitter agony of someone having to show some identification. Oh, the horror!

Worry01 on April 27, 2010 at 7:26 pm

Jewish Marksman is absolutely correct: to draw an analogy between illegal aliens and the Jews during Nazi Germany is nothing but Orwellian propaganda, and an insult to Jews everywhere. They WERE citizens.

Meanwhile, who really are the racists, here? I was standing in line at Lowe’s and I happened to look up and notice the same message in 4 different languages: Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Russian! Needless to say, the Chinese seemed like it was written in hieroglyphics, the Russian has foreign vowel sounds and the Italian is not far removed from Spanish.

Yet, which group is accommodated by signs, directions, and phone instructions telling you “dial 1,” para espanol? Which group don’t respect American sovereignty- playing dumb with the “no sabe” line.

Italian immigrants years ago, went to nightschool to learn English. They WANTED to assimilate, as did the Russians, Chinese, Poles, Greeks, Germans, Turks, Egyptians, Norwegians, Israelis, etc. When are Spanish immigrants going to follow suit?

And that racist Geraldo Rivera (Gerry Rivers) calls “whites” xenophobes.

Another excellent post, Debbie.

Hopefully, one state down, 49 more to go.

JeffE on April 27, 2010 at 10:12 pm

Most of these posts are written by people who have white skin. It is easy to accuse someone of being racist when they tell the truth! For most of you it is probably ‘the pot callin the kettle black’.

How many of you (who are reading this) would be asked for your ID when walking down the street in Arizona? I would not, but a lot of people I know would. That is racial profiling, pure and simple!

As I said, I am for immigration reform, but just something better!

Hmm, how about anyone breaking the law or suspected of, or…OK, enough with the racist and nazi BS…give me a freakin’ break already…I could give you a million and one reasons for being asked for an ID.
I can get stopped in my car to get randomly checked for DWI but you can’t be asked for a simple ID? Right…something tells me ‘Lee in the US’ might be ‘friends’ with some illegals…just a hunch.

Did you read the text of the Arizona law? If not, then you can read it at the link below. It is only seventeen pages long.

After you read the bill, tell me where in the bill is there any racial profiling?

I do see an example that that shows that it does no such thing. It says on page 5, Section4E,:

No one knows his history but it’s suspected he might be a child molester, drug addict, terrorist, theif, slave trafficer, religious fanatic, rapist, maybe even a murderer…BUT…the man needs a place to stay. Won’t you open up your doors and let him into your household? What can be wrong with that? Come on, this is America, you can afford it. Why should you, just because you worked hard for it all your life, keep it to yourself. Come on, share the wealth!

Seriously, what’s the difference between letting a stranger into your home, or into your homeland?

theShadow on April 28, 2010 at 12:41 am

you got it all wrong Debbie. you will not need to face the unjust harassment I will have to. I came to Arizona from Texas. My family has been in this country since the 1700’s. There is a Elementary school in south Texas named for my ancestor who founded that town. Since the time before Texas was a state, my family has been here. We became citizens of the Republic of Texas overnight, then 10 years later, the United States. After having fought for independence from Mexico, and then my having both of my Grandfathers fight in WW2, one in Europe and one on a battleship in the pacific, and after my uncles fought in both Korea and Vietnam, and after I gave it my all in Operation Desert Storm, I now have to contend with being stopped in my homeland, in my hometown. Stopped and asked to show my papers. Asked to prove I am American. Asked where I am from.

You dont understand Debbie.

For all my family has done for this part of America, this is how my family’s loyalty will be repaid. Already, my children are being harassed at school and called “wetback”. My cousin has been detained by the Arizona PD for no reason than the color of his skin. Released after showing he is American. We’ve been here since the 1700’s. How many of you here can say that.

Again, you dont understand Debbie. My family has done alot for America. This just makes me sad. Go after employers who hire illegal aliens. They are the reason illegals come here.

What did I do.

papi jones on April 28, 2010 at 1:58 am

And “i.c.e.” continues on its pathetic course to nowhere. Another gleaming example of why I was so glad to retire and sever all ties with that debacle of an agency (I’m being polite here). Little outfit run by little people; from it’s “leaders?!” on down, it’s a disgrace and a black mark on those who really gave a damn before customs and their little blue weenie-waggers took it over.

At least we won’t get overrun by fake Nikes and NASCAR t-shirts.

Kudos to AZ for stepping up to the plate and not backing down to the whiners and libtards.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is the only elected official in America with the brass ones to tell KING HUSSEIN OBAMA to go to hell.

The law that was passed is the enforcement Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been enacting in his county for his deputies. Now all peace officers in the state will have protections when in legal contact with anyone here illegally. The law doesn’t allow for illegals to be asked to show papers as the media and liberals are stating. The law states:

Only when making lawful contact, anyone who appears to be an illegal alien upon reasonable suspicion and fails to produce such proof is subject to arrest without warrant, and, upon confirmation of the individual’s illegal status by the federal government, a fine of at least $500, and up to six months in jail.

Yes when “ONLY when making lawful contact”. Police must have reason to make lawful contact. This is already being enforced by deputies in Maricopa County. Now all law enforcement within the state regardless of sanctuary status can now determine the legality of presence within the country. What a concept allowing officers to enforce the law of the land and uphold the constitution? Liberals and La Raza can’t have that.

I believe the law will ultimately go to the voters. A referendum has been filed and if enough signatures are collected the law will not go into effect until the law is put to the voters.

If Obama can’t get the law thrown out then other states will be able to follow Arizona’s lead. No wonder Obama wants to squash this now.

Debbie you stated, “If only we had this law in Michigan.” Yes Debbie Schlussel you can have this law. File the initiative with the Secretary of State and form a committee to gather the signatures, raise funds for a campaign and get it to a vote in 2012. You will be a Hero for the people of Michigan.

CaliforniaScreaming on April 28, 2010 at 4:40 am

Unfortunately having a school named for someone doesn’t mean what it used to years ago when school were really named for people who played outstanding constructive roles in society. Now they are also named for such rabble as Malcolm X, and schools that used to be named for real leaders are changing their names to reflect the PC garbage. So I am untouched by the fact that some illegal’s ancestors had a school named after them.

The illegals and their friends like to counterpose state and federal law. If the feds were to do something they would say it was wrong and that it is really the role of the states. And vice versa. Obviously they all should be enforcing the laws against illegals. Just like laws against murder (and unfortunately there is overlap here) are enforced by all governments.

The next step in Arizona is going beyond the need to make concessions to political correctness when defending the law. While it was a huge step forward in passing the law, they are explaining and explaining how it won’t constitute racial profiling, taking courses in avoiding racial profiling, etc. While this may be necessary legally in today’s environment, conservatives really have to challenge racial profiling taken in the context of illegal immigration. It is a fraud and meant to defuse laws like this.

BTW, I heard that woe of woes, the Immigration Lawyers are now boycotting Arizona. One down, 49 to go.

Little Al on April 28, 2010 at 5:59 am

Oh my! The lesbionic woman is saying that enforcing Arizona’s law will stretch financial resources too much. Maybe if they stopped funding all the groups that are defending the illegals and maybe if they stopped paying all those benefits to illegals they’d have enough money to enforce the law.

And I guess it wouldn’t hurt to abolish Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and stop all the stimuli and bailouts.

Little Al on April 28, 2010 at 6:06 am

Any nation that can’t control its border won’t be a nation for long.

Truth on April 28, 2010 at 6:52 am

Now I hear that the Chief Shakedown Artist, Al Sharpton (He has replaced Jesse Jackson) is calling for a boycott of Arizona. I have two thoughts on this:

1) It will probably backfire. Given the popularity of this law it will probably draw more tourism to Arizona.
2) If the boycott were to succeed it would also backfire. By reducing the demand for illegals needed to work (given less tourism) illegals would stop coming to Arizona and those already there might leave.

Either way I actually _welcome_ this boycott.

I_AM_ME on April 28, 2010 at 8:59 am

I’m proud of Arizona, proud of Jan Brewer. The cry babies are
out in force. Al Sharpton has another opportunity to get back
in the spotlight, lead his “freedom marches” and the boycotts will scare some resort owners, but in the end this law should pass muster. Those complaining the loudest haven’t read it, just like they didn’t pay any attention to the Health care bill.

Let me add my two cents to this godforsaken jackass Lee, listen up Lee, the people in Arizona have had it up to here with illegal-aliens roaming around in there state, breaking laws and getting away with murder, and for you to compare this law to nazi tactics, aparthied, etc., is completely BS and it really proves how ignorant and stupid your ass is.

BTW Lee, I happend to be a black-male myself, this law anti-illegal immigration law in Arizona has NOTHING to do with race you jackass! For you to make a comment like “white vs. them” just proves how racist you really are, but your too ignorant to see how moron you sounded Lee. Lee, did you that 30% of our prison population in this country is filled with your illegal-alien criminal friends, and Lee you and the rest of your left wing ilk should be arrested for enabling and embetting lawbreakers in this country, that goes for Al Sharpton, La Raza, Eric Holder, Barack Hussein Obama and the other left wing communist in this country who supports illegal-immigration.

This law that was passed in Arizona should be passed in all 50 states, because where I live in New York, we to have illegal-immigration problems, and they are bleeding New York dry that New York is like Argentina and Greece. You see Lee, the illegal-aliens have alot of free entitlement programs, whether it’s education, healthcare, hospitalization, housing, etc., they have all of those programs that there not entitled to, and that’s why the country is dead broke. And people, my guess is that Lee is one of these left wing shills from either the Demoncant Underground, Daily KOOKS, Huffington Post, Think Progress, Media Matters, moveon.org, etc., that’s why his dumbass is giving all of these moronic left wing talking points!

Sean – I feel your pain (Slick Willey). It sounds like you are living out here in Cali instead of NY. I definitely agree with you about this issue and what you wrote.

And for all those red-commie-libs who live here and post your nonsense, your arguement about the “Let me see your papers, bitte” Nazi BS really pisses me off. There’s no comparison whatsoever, period. Our servicemen are required to carry their military ID at all times and wear dog tags. Does this mean that our brave warriors are lesser people than the rest of us LEGAL citizens? All people who are NOT US citizens are REQUIRED to carry their green card or other papers anyway. Go change that law if you don’t like it, dipsh#ts.

I know many people have said this, and I completely agree with them. The US should adopt Mexico’s immigration policies. We should also allocate jails for just the incarceration of ANY illegal alien, and recreate the conditions of a Mexican jail. Isn’t this a way we can show that third-world pissant country that we just want to get along with them and follow their enlightened lead in this issue?

To Sean R.
Name calling—>very Republican! Calling me a jackass does nothing but show you have nothing important to say and is a turn off! I do not agree with your views, but will not stoop to your level!!

Lee in the US on April 28, 2010 at 10:57 am

Lee get this through your empty head you putz, I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN YOU MORON, I AM AN INDEPENDENT-CONSERVATIVE, are those words what I wrote too big for you? Secondly your dealing with independents on these boards NOT republican posters stupid. I can call you what the hell I want, because your not making any sense at all Lee, your just talking out of your ass and giving all of these damn sob stories, so my advice for you Lee is to go back to either the Huffington Post, Media Matter, moveon.org, Think Progress, Daily Kos, or any other far left wing website!

I guess you are the only black guy who has never been pulled over ‘just because’. How Lucky or How Ignorant of YOU! Well get used to it if you go to Arizona.

Name calling is a Republican thing! Don’t you watch Fox ‘News’?

Call me whatever you like. If you have nothing intelligent to say or just want to be seen as an angry black man—-GO AHEAD! I am not returning to this particular post anyway!

Lee in the US on April 28, 2010 at 8:45 pm

“Name calling is a Republican thing! Don’t you watch Fox ‘News’?”
BS. Ad hominem is straight-up Alinskey.

“GO AHEAD! I am not returning to this particular post anyway!

More BS, I’m afraid, trolls who say they’re done usually return.

Mass deportation of illegals would be great. Rounding up all the Muzzies who are here on student visas and aren’t in school and tossing them out would be great. I kind of like Jarhead’s notion of a DMZ, at least with Mexico. This policy of Arizona’s should be the law of the land.

Richard on April 28, 2010 at 10:00 pm

BULL SHIT, sorry guys, im not even hispanic and i know this, and the government knows this, all those illegals are so deeply involved in the economy now specifically construction that it would be disaster to deport all of them, that swhy the government never takes any serious steps, and u guys are so stupid when u say ohhh these illegal immigrants are taking jobs away from “hard working” americans, that bs, very small number of americans are even willing to do the jobs that these illegals do for the price they do, and just to let all u guys know, if nobody would hire illegals then they would be forced to return, americans are just as guilty, none of u have ever lived in poverty so u dont know what its like, these illegals do whatever they have to do to survive and give their families better lives, if that means breaking a few immigration laws then so be it, u would do wutever u had to do to protect ur family also, so stop saying these illegals are all a bunch of thugs who dont care about laws, they are just trying to get a better life

YOUR MOM on April 29, 2010 at 4:02 am

YO MOMMA – how do you know who grew up or lived in poverty here? I grew up and have lived in poverty. However, I did not break any laws because of it, and due to my hard work, with ZERO gov’t handouts, I have risen above that. Screw you and your defending these illegals invaders. I know many WHITE people who, like me, did all those ‘Jobs That Americans Won’t Do’. And if I needed to, I would do it again.

Tell us something YO MOMMA, how much of the American taxpayers money have you stolen?

Jarhead on April 29, 2010 at 12:21 pm

Hey everyone—-no worries. We here at ICE have EVS and his little buddy Priceless at ICE HQ now. They should be able to solve all of our problems!! hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

notanEVSfan on April 29, 2010 at 9:30 am

Let me finish my two cents and move onto the next subject on this site, Lee, listen up you moron, I have NEVER gotten into trouble with the law you jackass, I know the difference between right and wrong, so therefore Lee, I respect the laws of this country, I don’t go around breaking, and are you saying that all black people break the law all the time Lee? Lee, your the one who’s ignorant not me you schmuck, I know what’s really going on in this country and the world, so I am a “realist”, you on the other hand Lee are nothing but a dreamer who lives in a “Alice In Wonderland World” (if you’ve seen the film or read the novel you’ll know what I’m talking about)!

Secondly Lee, NO I don’t watch Fox News, as a matter of fact Lee, I don’t watch any of the media outlets, because there all full of crap just like you, and I’ll try and visit Arizona one of these days, it’s a beautiful state. And let me guess Lee, on May-Day (which is a communist holiday BTW) your going to demonstrate with the illegal-aliens criminals like the schmuck you are noticing that your embetting criminals who broke US LAWS, and as I’ve said in one of my post, people like you Lee who are embetting and coddling up with illegal-aliens should be arrested for attempting to break federal law, not get lost Lee and let us adults talk to eachother, because your not bringing anything intelligent or important to the table, good bye forever Lee!

The road to Tyranny is paved with good intentions…
i.e it’s for the “children”, or the “country” or the “poor” or for “security” or 4 “our own good” …ya da, ya da, ya da…blah blah blah…

Who cares? on April 29, 2010 at 3:21 pm

Jarhead I agree totally. If only we could pass a law that requires states to round up all the muslims that have overstayed their visas too we would be on the right track.

PS. Any of you Tennesseans in the 6th District, Vote Dave Evans on August 5th – he has proudly served this country 40 years and is one general who will do everything he can to enforce immigration laws.
