Who’s Your Cable Company? Comcast Spends $1.2 Milln on US Muslim “Digital” Jihad

By Debbie Schlussel

This is yet another reason why I’m glad I don’t have cable.  Where I live, the main provider is Comcast.  And I don’t want my money to go to fund Muslim extremists and illegal alien advocates and their enhanced online presence.

Comcast Dhimmi David L. Cohen w/ Comcast Muslim Digital Jihad

Sadly, if you pay Comcast to provide you with cable, that is exactly what you are funding.

Comcast has a three year agreement with “One Economy” (you can already tell by the name that it’s far left) to “bridge” the alleged Islamic “digital divide” in Dearbornistan.  And to that end, Comcast is giving One Economy $1.2 million  to teach Muslim kids at the pro-HAMAS/pro-Hezbollah/pro-illegal alien ACCESS (Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services) how to build their online “leadership” and “citizenship.”  I don’t know about you, but I think Muslims have enough “online leadership.”  If you don’t think so, check out the Islamic extremist sermons and terrorist recruitment videos on YouTube.  Many of them are made by these allegedly “digitally deprived” Muslims in Dearbornistan and all over America.

ACCESS, as I’ve reported over the years, sponsored the anti-Israel Divestment Conference at the University of Michigan and was involved (and still is) in smuggling pregnant Muslim aliens into the U.S.–giving them phony social security numbers, helping them defraud Medicaid and obtain birthright citizenship for their kids.  And ACCESS trained the Detroit Terror Cell members to get Commercial Drivers Licenses and HazMat hauling certificates.  That’s in addition to ACCESS helping Muslim illegal aliens invade the country, stay here, and get benefits, and the agency’s open opposition to putting HAMAS and Hezbollah on the State Department terrorist list.

So why is Comcast giving ACCESS $40,000 to have new computers and help train extremist kiddies to improve their online advocacy for these kinds of outrages against America on its own soil?  Some of the money went to fund Muslim kids working for extremist organizations (“religious” community service).  Is Comcast funding your church or my synagogue and our ethnic groups’ kids computer skills and online “leadership and citizenship”?  No.

Sadly, the man absorbing the limelight and gushing press for this is Comcast honcho David L. Cohen.  Figures.  So many liberals from my community want to help those who would kill us, who share the ideology of the guards at Auschwitz and Treblinka.

“Digital divide,” my butt.  If you subscribe to Comcast for cable, time to pull the plug.  Otherwise, you are helping Comcast fund future–and present–online jihad.

Comcast and One Economy today celebrated the success of a major technology learning and service initiative that teaches young people about broadband technologies and how to put that knowledge to work to serve the Dearborn community. The program, Comcast Digital Connectors, was conducted during the 2009-2010 school year at the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) in Dearborn and will continue next fall throughout the academic year.

In the Comcast Digital Connectors program, 23 Dearborn-area high school students from diverse and low-income backgrounds were selected to gather at ACCESS two evenings a week throughout the year to learn digital literacy skills. The young people then volunteered their time at community-based organizations, senior centers, religious-based organizations [DS: a/k/a mosques and CAIR] and even in their own homes to help improve digital literacy. . . .

“This is a really exciting and extremely important initiative for Comcast and the Comcast Foundation. Developing digital literacy skills in young people is essential to their future,” said David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President of Comcast Corporation. “Along with digital education, young people from diverse communities will experience a unique opportunity to improve their lives and the lives of others by cultivating leadership skills, impacting their neighborhoods through community service and preparing for their bright futures in the workforce.” . . .

“The Comcast Digital Connectors program has been a great opportunity for young people in Dearborn,” said Tom Coughlin, Senior Vice President for Comcast’s Michigan Region. “It has taught them the technology skills needed to advance in education and in the workforce, and instill the importance of passing on that knowledge to their neighbors, friends and family in order to improve their lives and community.”

Translation: Hey, we helped Hezbollah supporters improve their online skills to better organize Dearbornistan. Praise allah.

The curriculum for Comcast Digital Connectors covers several broad areas to help the program participants learn real world applications for broadband technology. Modules include leadership principles, real world learning opportunities, digital technology skills development, community service, financial literacy and civic journalism. The students learned how to network computer labs, connect wireless access points and create video documentaries.

Alhamdillullah [Praise allah], mommy. I just learned how to shoot an anti-Israel documentary! All thanks to the Comcast infidels and their evil Zionist David L. Cohen.

Additionally, they were given instruction in entrepreneurship [DS: Mommy, I just learned how to sell my anti-American docu-flick!], healthy living, career and character development. The program also included creative media projects intended to inspire the Digital Connectors to put broadband and Internet technology to their greatest use.

Through grants from the Comcast Foundation totaling more than $40,000, ACCESS was able to set up a computer lab at its newly constructed youth center in South Dearborn, as well as fund the Comcast Digital Connectors program costs to ensure the students had access to state-of-the-art equipment and technology as they developed their digital literacy skills. The new computer lab has also benefited area youth of all ages that visited the ACCESS facility since opening last year. . . .

“ACCESS is very grateful to have been given the opportunity to offer the Digital Connectors Program to students from multiple high schools in our community,” said Hassan Jaber [DS: An outspoken anti-Israel Palestinian Muslim], Executive Director for ACCESS. “Due to the generosity of Comcast and its partner, One Economy, youth at ACCESS have been given the chance to develop leadership, citizenship and healthy lifestyle skills through the effective use of technology. The Digital Connectors Program has provided us the essential tools and resources to better teach our children how the positive uses of technology can improve the quality of their lives and the community in which they live.” . . .

Comcast . . . has made a $1.2 million commitment to sponsor the Digital Connectors program for three years, beginning in 2009.

Vladimir Lenin was right about America selling its enemies the rope on which it will hang. Except in this case, Comcast is giving it away. And you’re paying for it.

And you’ll continue to pay . . . well beyond the price of cable.

I wouldn’t doubt if some of the next classes for these jihadists-to-be will be to train them in radio frequency communications. It’s just what every muslim needs to make his own remote controlled IED’s.

Of course some Jewish supporters of the Muslims, like some Christian supporters of the Muslims, just don’t like our country very much. They see the Muslims as a wedge to attack our society, and remake it into their image.

But I think there is another dimension to Jewish support of Muslims, and maybe David L. Cohen falls into this category. Many of us remember the Black-Jewish alliance that was so prominent during the first two-thirds of the 20th century, until it collapsed with the Black Power movement. Jews were always victimized by many blacks during the entire time-span of this alliance, e.g. the prevalent myth that black anti-semitism was caused by the cruelness of Jewish shopkeepers in Harlem.

But there was a positive aspect to this alliance, also. The overall campaign of blacks for civil rights, at least through the early 60s, did have merit, in spite of some wanderings into extremism, and Jewish supporters could feel that they were doing something worthwhile by supporting blacks. Many were desolated with the advent of the Black Power movement, and the eruption of anti-semitism into more prominence than it had previously had. The ‘alliance’ was never regained after that in spite of several feeble attempts.

Some Jewish supporters of the muslims may be attempting to regain that alliance, only now with muslims instead of blacks. They may be wishing to relive the campaigns and movements their parents were involved in. Unfortunately, the fate of such an ‘alliance’ is even darker then the fate of the black-Jewish alliance with its final eruption into anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism.

There is no ennobling aspect to a Jewish-muslim alliance; the muslims have plenty of rights, and they are seeking primarily to destroy what is good about our civilization. Their jewish supporters, at least those who are not altogether hostile to our society should reconsider their attempt to blindly follow the path of the earlier black-Jewish alliance.

I’m so not surprised. Comcast is the worst.

Mary Ann on August 15, 2010 at 3:29 am

This is right out of the playbook of Jesse Jackson. Shaking down politically correct corporations and organizations because they don’t want to be called racist. Every so-called “underrepresented community” (the no we couldn’t do it on our own crowd so now we must demand someone else to feel sorry for us) works this angle because these corporations live in fear. So it is added on the cost of our bills.

Direct TV is much better anyway.

Debbie no cable or satellite tv? I think I would go into withdrawals.

CaliforniaScreaming on August 11, 2010 at 10:28 pm

“anti israel does not mean anti jew knucklehead.”

It means anti-Jewish self-determination in their historical homeland and pro-Arab Imperialism in non-Arabian lands such as the Levant and Maghreb. Anti-Israel sentiment often accompanies opposition to independent Berber and Kurdish homelands in the region.

Living in a nice apartment by myself these days, and I can’t get directv on this complex. They won’t let me. They’ll only take cable, and Comcast is the only provider.

I was considering getting it for a little while, til I saw this story. I knew comcast was full of crap, but wow..

Squirrel3D on August 12, 2010 at 1:22 am

I honestly can not believe that you actually had the nerve and the heart to actually post this. I have never liked your posts, but this is just sad. I am one of those “digital jihadists” as you like to call it. I am 16 and so is almost every other person in that program. Hate Muslims all you want, blog about whatever you want, but to attack us MINORS (were frickin 16) and your calling us TERRORISTS. I was taught valuable skills that I would gladly teach anyone whether they are Muslim, Christian, or Jewish . Our website is ….we talk with people all over the world including people from Israel. So please next time you decide to attack a Muslim please check your facts, and DON’T ATTACK MINORS AND POST THEIR PICTURES ON YOUR SITE, UNLESS YOU WANT A LAWSUIT FOR THE DEFAMATION OF MINORS.

Sam on August 12, 2010 at 2:02 am

Good luck winning a lawsuit against Debbie, Sam.

Apparently you don’t know of all the Islamic “minors” who send Debbie death threats every single day. We, at the JIDF, get them too, and we see what Islamic “minors” post all over our Jewish forums, every single minute of every day. Is calling Jews apes and pigs and promoting the murder of all non-Muslims (as the Qur’an instructs) what you talk about to people from Israel? Or are you just collaborating with your brothers who who seek its destruction?

In any event, Debbie, thanks for another groundbreaking piece.

David on August 12, 2010 at 4:22 am

I’m so glad that Debbie, nor any of you, will never be elected to office or have any possible influence on actual policy other than leading her slanderous rag-tag team of retards, witnessed her, to other shitty cable networks.

Gosh, I really would not know what to do without hereos like you. I saw this little muslim girl with an ipod yesterday. AN IPOD! what has this world come to where everyone should be able to listen to music. The Koran doesn’t even allow for it. I think…I’ve read it…wait no i never did. ANYWAYS, Comcast is going to burn with the infidels of..uh..providing internet service to americans, ya that!

ANYWAYS, keep up the great work Kiddo, and next time you see Glenn Beck, tell him he owes me a blowjob

Taylor on August 13, 2010 at 9:30 am

Taylor, you’re no Jew. You’re a Muslim. Why lie?

Oh, and you have yet to write anything of substance.

skzion on August 14, 2010 at 5:19 pm

Comcast is often the only provider of services in many places. While cable for TV is unnecessary as is TV itself, some people need HIGH SPEED internet for WORK and to COUNTER the Jihad and support Israel.

It’s a sad fact of life that in democracy you sometimes have to put up with distasteful things until they are proven to be violating some law. Even then they usually don’t get shut down. The way to navigate such an environment is to demand a true CAPITALIST choice of providers. I use to live in the Tampa Bay area and we could choose between Verizon and Brighthouse. Verizon was not Mac friendly for high speed at that time and their tech support was lousy. Brighthouse provided far superior service and offered great rates for Road Runner, telephone and TV. There we had a TV because the new online was not real time enough during hurricanes as we learned in Katrina.

Start demanding choice and break Comcast’s monopoly in the areas it’s in.

    Hi Shanon,

I believe I can help you. Us real conservatives have this great alternative to cable television called firearms. Really, I wouldnt know what I would did if my arms weren’t on fire..OH Hehaha, that one always gives me a laugh, and a chuckle too.

Anyways back to the subject at hand! Firearms have these things called bullets, which are not to be confused with those god damn infomercial. I though a case of two-hundred magic bullets would give me the hunting trip of my life! Turned out I was wrong, I returned them and got the slapchop instead (a superior product I must say)

mk750 on August 12, 2010 at 11:00 am

Thank you.. I guess I need to learn more about WIFI. I am not that computer savvy yet.

shaon on August 12, 2010 at 11:34 am

It’s simple. It’s a wireless connection. Let’s say your neighbor has Comcast and doesn’t care 🙁 so s/he is keeping it. You are in a WiFi neighborhood and if your computer is even a few years old, it has Bluetooth technology built in. You ask your neighbor what their network name is and on your computer you go into Network preferences. Open Bluetooth to connect and you can scan for an open network. When it finds your neighbor’s, click on that and you should have a connection. Neighbor will have to be online for it to work but they can leave the computer on and sleeping if they don’t want to be there. it doesn’t cost you or the neighbor anything for you to do this so unless neighbor is a meany and charges you, you are not paying Comcast.

      mk750 on August 12, 2010 at 11:49 am

Isn’t that stealing cable mk750? Shame on you.

HEY Debbie,
How you doing? my sister participated in this ” digital Connectors” program and it was very beneficial. I cant believe a person so educated like you calls teenagers Jihadists. Moses and Jesus (Peace be upon them)tried to spread a clean and fair religion among the Jews and mankind, but, unfortunately, those bad apples in that tree, such as yourself, keep destroying that belief in every generation. Jehadists are those who fight for their rights and their religion whether they’re Muslims, Jews, or Christians. However, Jehad doesn’t always mean to blow up yourself. Jehadists are also those who take their time and use all they have to educate themselves in life. Of course in that case, we are all considered Jehadists.. EVEN YOU! So don’t talk about others and make dumb misconceptions on things that you don’t know anything about. May Allah forgive those who are blonde.. Oops, i mean blind. 🙂
Assalamu Alaikom.

“Moses and Jesus (Peace be upon them)tried to spread a clean and fair religion among the Jews and mankind, but, unfortunately, those bad apples in that tree… ”

Ah yes, Jews lied about Mohammed and about Jesus, who was a Muslim. In fact, though, there is nothing clean or fair in Islam. Talk about a gutter “religion.”

“Jehadists are those who fight for their rights and their religion whether they’re Muslims, Jews, or Christians.”

Huh? Jihad is an Islamic doctrine only. And jihad is almost always violent.

“Jehadists are also those who take their time and use all they have to educate themselves in life.”

Uh, no. The closest you come to “proof” for that is a single “weak” hadith. In canonical Islam, jihadists kill, convert, and enslave the unbeliever and take his land in the name of Allah.

hello debbie,
i was dumbfouded when i read this article. ive always believed your stories, but after reading this article, it struck me that i shouldnt. i know some students that are in this program and i understand fully what they stand for. they do the exact opposite of what you claimed they do. By using technology, they help bring all different types of people, arabs, african americans, whites, etc, closer together. That’s why they are called the digital ‘connectors’, because they help ‘connect all’ people. But i noticed not only were you inputing your own biased opinion, but also stating false facts in your story. Extremist Organizations?!?!? What is so extreme about cleaning the community and setting up a technology lab day at their masjid. Or planting flowers around their neighborhoods, or collecting books for a book drive. The services these kids, no, these digital connectors, provided were a big help to everyone in the community, not just the illegal aliens that you claim (lie) they know and are helping. I can only imagine all the other stories you put your subjective opinion in (and your lies)that have fooled me along with all your followers. If you can’t find the respect in you to be honest with people of arabic decent, than at least find it in yourself to be truthful to your followers and fans. They at least deserve that. Digital connectors see no race, no religion, no color…they see people, and Debbie, lets be real, you cant say the same.
