Music Vids of the Day: Male Skanks Who Make an Occasional Good Song

By Debbie Schlussel
People often ask me what kind of music I like. I have pretty eclectic musical taste. I like hard rock, ’80s hair bands, classical music, jazz, funk, R&B, ’70s and ’80s hits, klezmer music, bluegrass, house/trance music, and lots of other stuff. But if it works as workout music, it’s the best. Take these two songs. I don’t exactly admire the messed up himbos that sing them, but I like the songs, both of which are in my workout repertoire and both of which were bumper music for my radio show. Power rock is great for getting you pumped up at the gym or for a good run.

Tommy Lee Bass: Dumb as a bag of hammers, but, extremely gifted and talented, musically. Great rock drummer, and a pretty good DJ, too.

Debbie, a few years ago I was once sitting on a bench with a female friend by a valet parking booth. There was a tattoed guy sitting on the bench waiting with us, and he seemed like somebody well known but we didn’t know who he was. My friend started to make fun of a Lamborghini in front of us. After a minute of that the guy says to us that we shouldn’t talk about someone’s car because the owner may be sitting right next to us. I felt badly and made a joke about us losing our chance to ride in it. Looking at this video, I wonder if it was LB we offended.

Rock still ROCKS!! Not much left since MTV turned our nation into Hip Hop wannabees with fake gold grills in their mouth. Very few good FM rock station. Internet Radio has been a blessing for rock fans. Yeah the hard rocks gets the blood flowing also great when surfing the net. Hard rock is my choice for the gym. Take your aggressions out. Not a big fan of Limp Bizkit because of Nookie song and Fred Durst’s ego. However that is one of their few good songs. The “My Way” songs fits you Debbie, since you don’t play second fiddle to other conservatives.
ROCK ON!!
