Just In Case Al-Qaeda & Hezbo Spies Weren’t in Place

By Debbie Schlussel
On Sunday, New York City’s first responders staged a disaster drill at the World Trade Center train station, their largest since 9/11 happened. It included a mock explosion.
While I understand the need to warn New Yorkers ahead of time so they won’t think there’s a real attack (unlike the Obama administration, which believes warnings are for losers and likes to do surprise photo ops), if I were an Al-Qaeda or Hezbollah terrorist or spy, I’d thank the good authorities of New York for giving me a preview of their plans.
Not only did TV ads and train station ads notify New Yorkers–and all interested terrorist parties–of the drill ahead of time, but now there are detailed reports of what happened at the event, for all those terrorists and spies who slept in late and couldn’t make it. From the reports, we know how many responders there were: 800. We know how they wheeled out victims and much more of what they did. Al-Qaeda, pay attention and take note.

This reminds me of mock drills the FBI and other authorities staged in the few years after 9/11, to which they invited representatives of the Islamo-dominated, pro-Hezbollah/HAMAS American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC). It was kind of like, if the enemy won’t come to spy on your plans, send them an invitation. Completely brainless.
Chris Ward, executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said,

The motto for today is: You can never be too prepared.

More like, your enemies can never be too prepared, so invite them to the party to make sure they know your reaction plans and procedures ahead of time. All you have to do is watch DVDs of season one of the now-defunct Showtime series, “Sleeper Cell,” to know how these details can be easily crafted into terrorist attacks.
By the way, this is the same brainy Port Authority that nixed the idea to call the new World Trade Center building, “Freedom Tower,” because they didn’t want to upset the terrorists.
With “leadership” like this, it’s a miracle that city is still around. . . for now.
Feel safe with these bozos in charge? Don’t.

But what’s the alternative? Sit on untested CONCEPTS of disaster response and cross your fingers that they work if the worst happens? That’s not ideal. Indeed, that’s downright stupid.
It’s also important that WE know these response methods work – and if they don’t, then we need to know that too, so they can be promptly fixed.
And think about it: would you rather have terrorists who think we aren’t prepared for this, or terrorists who see that we ARE. This is just as much about prevention as it is about reaction. It’s the principle of the vaccine: show the disease you can kill it, and the disease runs away.
[E: ACTUALLY, DISEASES MUTATE AND BECOME RESISTANT. JUST LIKE TERRORISTS. THERE WERE LOTS OF THINGS THEY COULD HAVE DONE. THEY COULD HAVE CLOSED THE AREA OFF TO SPECTATORS, PERFORMED IT SOMEWHERE ELSE WITH SIMILAR CONDITIONS, AND NOT ADVERTISED IT. A COMBINATION OF THESE THREE WOULD HAVE WORKED WELL. DS]

if the NYC authorities hadn’t issued the detailed reports, rest assured the New York Times would have. face it, Debbie… it was a lose – lose situation.

Eugene, You raise some key and important questions. But, there is a reason why the law enforcement community has training facilities. And that’s where they should have been conducting their test and training. Though many law enforcement agencies might be lacking in having a state of the art training center. Or the their center doesn’t meet the needs. They could always go to another training facility. In Glynn County, GA., there’s the “Federal Law Enforcement Training Center” (aka:FLETC) which has everything to prepare for this sort of senerio. There are other facilities like this through out America. Therefore, logistically this shouldn’t be a problem for any law enforcement agencey to go to.
You should never allow your adversaries know what your capabilities are. It’s wiser to keep your enemies gusseing. A simple comment like, we are prepared and continously practicing, would suffice. When the cops conduct these training sessions, it’s merely show boating and used for P.R. Debbie pointed out some excellent examples in why the cops don’t need to do these things. She’s absolutely right when she says. You’re literally inviting the enemy to see what were capable of doing. And how a terrorist act would be handled. This now gives the terrorist more than ample opportunity to study the plans. And then counter it.
If anything if the cops are compelled to do something like this to show boat. Then conduct the operations in which they wouldn’t use. So, they can give out dis-information to the enemy. And then the enemy is still clueless in how we would respond to handling a terroristic act on our soil.
