MUST-WATCH VIDEO: Tony Kanaan, US Brain Hemorrhage Victim & the Indy 500

By Debbie Schlussel

As you probably know, today is the 98th Indianapolis 500. Tony Kanaan, a Brazilian Maronite Christian of Lebanese Arab descent, is one of the racers. And if you follow racing, you know that, last year, he won his first Indy 500. But there is a very touching story behind it. Check out this very touching video on how his prayer and a medallion may have played a part in this young woman’s recovery. I personally don’t believe in good luck charms, but I do believe in the power of prayer. (The embedding code is not working so I can’t post it here. Sorry. But I’ve posted another version of the story below.) Whether or not you are a racing fan or even like sports, you will appreciate the video.

Terrific and excellent story DS, it’s good that you do some prayers, but at the end of the day, it’s all about being pro-active, and it’s great this girl’s wounds regenerated after she had surgery, and also became a “transhumanist” as well due to her being operated under the knife!
