Shannon Maureen Conley: ‘Nother Loser American Chick Converts to Islam, Helps ISIS, Scopes Out US Church for Attack

By Debbie Schlussel

Hey, it’s time for another edition of “Looks-Challenged Loser American Chick Converts to Islam for Love & Sharia Adventure” a/k/a “Always Gotta Put My Vagina First.” You knew this was coming: an American chick donating her living body and non-working brain to jihad science.

How many posts like this about loser chicks desperate for male attention who “revert” to Islam have I written over the years? Too many and not enough. As all of these lonely, selfish, stupid American women always put their desperate need for sex first before basic common sense and definitely before their country. Shannon Maureen Conley is just the latest. And she definitely won’t be the last. Far from it, sadly. As I’ve written, they have many websites full of sorry-assed women ripe for the ISIS/ISIL/Islamic State pickins in the name of jihad.

I guess it’s fitting that on the eve of America’s Independence Day, another American chick thinks “independence” means liberating her American body to Islam and helping Islamic terrorists infiltrate and bomb a church. And she was only caught because observant churchgoers paid attention and put their concerns for their lives first before worries about being “tolerant,” “sensitive,” and politically correct. I wonder if this chick was visibly Arabic or Middle-Eastern-looking if they’d have done that, or if the FBI would have paid attention. As we all know, in this era of “If You See Something, Say Something,” when you say what you see, you are mercilessly ridiculed by everyone and everything as a bigot who commits those cardinal sins: reason an logic in the face of the obvious. Don’t judge!

Oh, and by the way, she had CDs of Anwar Al-Awlaki–you know, the American citizen whose “Constitutional rights” Rand Paul (Dinesh D’Souza’s movie hero) says we violated because Rand wanted him to have the ability to kill yet more American citizens. Yup, datz da ticket! Well, the Paulistinians can rest easy because Awlaki’s First Amendment rights (you can’t yell “fire!” in a crowded theater, but you can call for the murder of thousands of Americans?) continue to be exercised long after his death.

A Colorado woman has been arrested for allegedly providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization, the FBI said in documents unsealed on Wednesday. Shannon Maureen Conley, 19, is accused of attempting to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, aka ISIL or ISIS, the terrorist organization currently taking control over parts of Iraq and Syria. The FBI says she was trying to travel to Syria to marry an ISIS member she met online. Once there, she intended to wage jihad — but if not allowed to fight because she is a woman, she intended to use her skills as a nurse’s aid to help Islamist fighters, the agency said in an affidavit cited by the Denver Channel.

The feds say they began investigating Conley in November 2013 after she was spotted on the campus of Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada taking notes. Officials at the chapel, scene of a 2007 shooting in which two people were killed, became suspicious. They asked to see her notes, and then asked her to leave when she became confrontational and spoke of Islam, according to reports. “If they think I’m a terrorist I’ll give them something to think I am,” she reportedly said when later asked about the incident by members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force.

The FBI says two agents made an “overt attempt to dissuade Conley from violent criminal activity and give her the opportunity to turn away from her intention to participate in supporting terrorist activities,” the affidavit said. The agents also told her she would be subject to arrest if she intended to aid the fighters. “When asked if she still wanted to carry out the plans, knowing they are illegal, Conley said that she does,” the affidavit states.

When Conley told her parents on April 1 that she was leaving for Syria to marry a “soldier,” her parents expressed their disapproval. Seven days later, Conley headed to the airport and checked some bags. Inside them were CDs and DVDs labeled Anwar al-Awlaki, who was an American dissident-turned-Islamic militant who was killed by 2011 drone strike in Yemen.

Alhamdulilah [praise allah], as there are many more Shannons where this one came from, and many of ’em aren’t as moronic and will kill Americans.

Well, I feel so good, everything is sounding hot. . . . You gotta gimme some lovin’.

Cue the theme music . . .

How did that Annie Lennox song go?

Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused

Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world and the seven seas
Everybody’s looking for something

The more things change the more they stay the same.

These kind of people used to be referred to as traitors.

I believe that some very notable Americans , Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh, and others were sucked into support of the 1930’s Nazi movement.

Appreciate the FBI making this collar, but how many other traitors are out there working against America in support of the Jihad.

Oh shit, some of them may be crossing the Mex border today.

after glancing at this dimwit’s photo i wondered how quickly her romanticized notions would have evaporated had these two jihad lovebirds been able to get together?

kirche61 on July 3, 2014 at 10:55 am

Let’s see per the U.S. Constitution, treason is defined as:
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”
Since ISIS is calling for our destruction, that equals treason.

One thing Debbie is that I have to respectfully disagree with you about the “non-judicial” killing of American citizen Anwar al-Awlaki. I have serious issues with a President deciding to kill a U.S. citizen without a Judge, Jury, and sentence.
The guy was a traitor no doubt, but couldn’t they have had Special Forces grab him, give him his fair trial, and then hang him ??
I just have issues with our government going against the rule of law and the Constitution.

jimmyPx on July 3, 2014 at 11:39 am

He was an enemy combatant. What else is relevant?

Dakuan on July 3, 2014 at 12:22 pm

No offence jimmyPx but special forces have to go and risk their lives because Anwar al-Awlaki was technically an American citizen?
This is not living in the real world.

Another pea brain female. Ugh. A friend of mine from my hometown (now living in Lancaster) has recently become a muslima or whatever the hell they’re called. She’s going through a horrible time (husband left her for a hot 21 year old, she’s 48) in her life and I guess this new found nonsense is what’s keeping her from going over the edge. I have no sympathy for these women. I just hope she doesn’t hook up with a muslim savage and get really brainwashed and sucked in.

NortheastPA on July 3, 2014 at 1:31 pm

When I was at Wayne State in the late ’80s, I met one of these wacky, American, filthy, slags who “revert” (as Debbie says) to islam for their muslim boyfriend. She was very kooky, and you could hear the vacant, disembodied “allah akbar” in her chants – like a zombie gutted of all self-respect and soul for middle-eastern turd. Pathetic.

And this kook from CO, her nurse’s aide training would have come in handy giving peri-care to her husbands cohorts.

DS_ROCKS! on July 3, 2014 at 1:36 pm

I won’t hijack this discussion, but think about WHO decides who an “enemy combatant” is–that’d be Obama. As part of the NDAA of 2012, anyone can be labelled such and be picked up and have no judge, no jury, nothing.
I agree that Anwar al-Awlaki was a traitorous SOB who probably didn’t deserve a bullet and I wouldn’t want any US troops harmed to get him. BUT he was a U.S. citizen and it is a very dangerous precedent letting any U.S. President label someone an enemy combatant and sign their death warrant with no due process.

jimmyPx on July 3, 2014 at 1:38 pm

jimmy, in general I am opposed to most of the spying that the NSA is doing on American citizens. I figure that the solution to avoiding terrorism is avoiding Muslims. If we need to have a series of terrorist attacks (which I hope will target NYC and DC) to make this a priority, to be it. The status quo only allows the Mooooslims to implant themselves gradually over time. That’s worse than confronting them now.

HOWEVER, unlike the spying, blowing up the rare “citizen” who is in a foreign country and is aiding a movement that is at war with the US is not going to affect the majority of US citizens. The reason Barky has gotten so little pushback for his drone strikes is because of the identify of the perps.

Due process is not part of war; it is for the usual kind of crimes. There is no reason that the Founders every thought differently.

skzion on July 3, 2014 at 3:04 pm

jimmy, you wrote yourself that there was “no doubt” that he committed treason…No doubt! ‘Nough said.

Red Randy on July 3, 2014 at 4:12 pm

You’re right in that it is a horrible precedent and really shouldn’t be allowed in that Obama getting to decide things for himself. But, as far as I’m concerned, he himself is a traitor. He has aided our enemy at every turn, sold us out and is systematically destroying us financially, socially and militarily. And he has been doing what he wants all along. If no one else likes it…too bad…he’s going to do it anyway. Just watch all in gitmo get sent home before he leaves office. But yes, as much as I hate it, it is a bad precedent.
I could only hope we have some real Jack Bauers out there.

    Laura S on July 4, 2014 at 9:38 am

Holy crap!In the interest of full disclosure:

I’m stunned;I’m startled; I’m shaken to my foundation. I cannot believe it.Just can’t get over it.

Had to go to google for verification.I’ve assumed lo these many years–since the mid sixties–that The Spencer Davis Group consisted of black guys.

Now back to the regular program.

My only concern is that Obama is such an imbecile or Muslim Brotherhood fan boy that he might possibly have taken out Anwar al-Awlaki at the bequest of somebody even more radical in the Al Qaeda leadership structure who wanted to get rid of him, morons that they supposedly are in this administration.

This does worry me – precedent of erasing Anwar al-Awlaki papa Americano from the face of the earth? Not so much

Dakuan on July 3, 2014 at 3:52 pm

But you understand what I’m saying? If this is your problem then you have much bigger problems than Anwar al-Awlaki. And I think this may well be the fact of the matter.

Dakuan on July 3, 2014 at 4:13 pm

Hmm, this story reminds of a person on Facebook, who in the past I’ve had some conversations with. First off, the person on Facebook (a woman BTW), she used to be an Agnostic if I’m not mistaken, I remembered her from some groups that I participate on and remember her a few years ago being critical on Islam, its teachings, doctrines, etc.

Then about a year ago I believe, she claimed on a group that I’m on on Facebook that she’s been having back-and-forth discussions with a Pakistani-Muslim in Pakistan, that he convinced and brainwashed her to embrace Islam, and she also said that she wants to go to Pakistan and meet this guy and marry him.

Debbie, cognitive dissonance is running rampant and it’s a psychological disorder (forget liberalism being a mental disorder, that’s irrelevant nowadays), oh and BTW, this American-white woman on Facebook who became a Muslim (same person I’m referencing) said that elements of US laws should have sharia-law in them, that men and women should be separate from each other when they’re doing social-gatherings, and justifies and makes excuses for jihadism. That’s what the woman in the OT reminds me of Debbie, and if this woman does dare travel to the Middle East and engage in violent-jihadism and something bad happens to her, I won’t show any pity for her whatsoever!

Dakuan on July 3, 2014 at 4:33 pm

Yes, that SOB was a traitor and deserved to get what was coming to him but you said “it’s war”–really when was war declared ?? We haven’t officially been at war since 1945. I guess we’re at war because the President and media say so and Congress agreed to give the military a bunch of money.
What’s sad is that 75 years ago 90%+ of American citizens would agree with me that since the 6th Amendment clearly states:
“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense”.

Did the Constitution go away–is it not binding ?? Doesn’t the President, all Congressmen, and all military officers vow to “defend the CONSTITUTION of the U.S.” ?? Since war has NOT been declared, habeas corpus is in full effect. A writ of habeas corpus is a writ (court order) that requires a person under arrest to be brought before a judge or into court.
The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled repeatedly that (recently in Boumediene v. Bush) that habeus corpus applied to foreigners on U.S. territory and U.S. citizens everywhere.
So, what Obama ordered was illegal, unconstitutional, and legally the murder of a U.S. citizen which makes him liable to impeachment.

All that said–that’s the way it’s SUPPOSED to be, I don’t have rose colored glasses on and know all about the CIA’s activities over the years and black ops. My point is that it doesn’t make it right and in my opinion throwing the Constitution out the window is dangerous and why this country is going down the toilet fast. Enough said I guess.

JimmyPx on July 3, 2014 at 6:26 pm

    JimmyPx, you say:

” the 6th Amendment clearly states:
“In all criminal prosecutions [BUT IS THIS A CRIMINAL PROSECUTION?], the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed [THIS MAKES CLEAR THAT THE FFs INTENDED TO PROTECT CERTAIN RIGHTS WHEN THE CRIME OCCURRED IN THE US.] which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense”.

Now, the Supreme Court has in fact ruled, ruled, and ruled that the Constitution does not say what it clearly says. Why then are you relying on the SC here? You are not defending “the Constitution” here but some imaginary document.

It’s funny that while we supposedly have three coequal branches that were designed to fight against one another, there is this particular deference to the Supreme Court. I think this is probably the key reason why the US has gone downhill in the past half-century at least. The original design has been altered, slowly but surely, since Marbury vs. Madison.

Now, idiotically, we expect a president to nominate a SC member who will shrink or at least not expand the power of his own Court! It’s absurd.

skzion on July 3, 2014 at 7:04 pm

So I guess Vietnam wasn’t a war either?

Dakuan on July 4, 2014 at 6:30 am

No, technically the U.S. has not been in a declared war since WWII. That’s why you will often seen Vietnam called “The Vietnam Conflict”.
My point is that it is a travesty and if there is not enough support in the country for Congress to declare war officially then we have no business sending troops.

JimmyPx on July 4, 2014 at 10:56 pm

I’m really not trying to be contrary in fact 99% of the time I agree with most of you and Debbie. I just want everyone to think about what they are being told. The weakening and plain ignoring the Constitution when it is inconvenient to the government really bothers me.

Debbie, I read in other online news articles, that it was an observant security guard that called the authorities on this delusional woman. Even if this is or is not the case, I applaud the people at this church that prioritize their safety first and damn the political correctness. I think if more people are willing to speak up and confront this, many terrorists and sleeper agents would have more than a difficult time. I admit that in this PC fascist enviroment, one can get into heavy legal water when being sued by lawyers who see dollar signs than a potential bomb going off.

I think it might be good for you all to read the actual affidavit. This girl has not actually done anything. And what little she did do was orchestrated by the Feds. This what really happened. Socially awkward 19yo girl is lonely confused and questioning her identity. She looks into Islam on the internet and decides she is Muslim. She doesn’t actually go to a mosque anything she just decides she is Muslim and starts wearing a hijab. Not totally convinced this is the right choice she takes some free religion glasses at a local Christian church. However, since she is wearing a hijab and hijab=muslim=terrist, the Church security start harassing her and being dicks. So she is a dick back to them. They ask her to leave and not come back and she leaves and does not come back.
Church calls the Feds and since its might be a crime to wear Muslim garb, and being a accused of being a terrorist by bigots means you might be one, so the feds follow up. In the original interview they identify themselves. I suspect though that in subsequent interviews they do not, and no doubt send the good looking Muslim looking agent to talk to her. Wondering why this 19yo would agree to so many interviews with the FBI, hmm.
They probably try the fake bomb thing with her but she is at heart a good girl who is not going to go for that. So they try to get her to at least send money, but she doesn’t go for that either. The ‘investigation’ is going nowhere so they bring out the big guns in psychological manipulation of a socially awkward young girl, a fake online boyfriend. If you think for a second the online boyfriend is anything other than an FBI agent or person otherwise working for the FBI you get a gold star naivete.
They do a great number on both the dad and the girl, with BS proposal thing. Finally this girl goes to the airport with a ticket bought by the FBI to meet a fake boyfriend who is an FBI agent and they pick her up. The FBI has nothing but snippets of conversations with their own agents that sound bad out of context and the fact she was willing to go to they airport with the ticket they paid for to meet the boyfriend who is an FBI agent, all along being egged on by another good looking FBI agent who probably never told her that is what he was.
If you ask me its the FBI who should be arrested for harassing this poor girl and her family.

I wonder if this is another example of LENIENT PARENTING, involving the ignorance of the “no physical punishment” scenario from the liberal morons who claim to “want peace”, but act in complete opposite of what they propose!
