Winnie the Pooh Affirmative Action: Christopher Robin Replaced with Tomboy Chick

Congratulations to “Winnie the Pooh,” who has turned 80.
But jeers to Disney for utilizing anti-male affirmative action in “honor” of this milestone. The folks at Disney are replacing Christopher Robin with a 6-year-old girl tomboy.
If they think this feminist affirmative action stunt will help revive interest in “Winnie the Pooh”–and those deluded fools actually do–dream on. The dying nature of this brand is a function of technology–computers, the Internet, interactive games, etc.–not anything to do with liberal social policy or some perceived need to implement it by emasculating everything. This new gambit to replace Christopher Robin is absurd.

New Female Tomboy Replacement for Christopher Robin

(on the Left, Appropriately)

Even leftist librarians didn’t see the need. “This strikes me as a step too far away from the vision of the original books,” Kathleen Horning, who trains children’s book librarians at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, told USA Today. “Besides, growing up, I had no problem relating to Christopher Robin. He almost had a non-specific gender.”
And what would be wrong if he did, indeed, have a strong male gender? Just asking.

Yeah, that’s pretty assinine. Especially since they’re changing the original vision of the author.
By the way, here’s an intersting article you might like to read regarding BS lawsuits, Debbie:

Debbie, I totally agree with you but isn’t His name Christopher Robin?

In their continuing failure to produce anything original and entertaining, Disney kills off Christopher Robin and brings in a tomboy. And this is going to help boost Pooh’s popularity… how?
::rolls eyes:: oi.

Have they decided upon a new name for Christopher Robin? I wonder what Walt Disney would think of his creation.

Well, I guess the question now is how will the effeminate-to-gay young boy lobby will react to the replacement of their standard bearer, Christopher Robin.
What’s worse, the new future WNBA-fan character or Christopher Robin?
Tough call.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think the new genderless character looks like “Speedy”, the ‘plop plop, fizz fizz’ Alka Seltzer guy?
With this change, I have officially lost interest in an icon of my youth. I am more inclined to boycott anything to do with the NEW and IMPROVED Winnie the Pooh than embrace it.
