So, this is how desperate the Republican Party and the Romney camp are to win in November. So desperate that they gave Ann Romney a sexist, anti-male speech to deliver, and she eagerly obliged. Despite the mindless group-think gushing on the right, anyone who heard that speech–anyone who read its text–knows that Ann Romney, last night, launched a “War on Men” in order to try to gain the women’s vote and counter the Obama baloney about a “War on Women”. It won’t work. But she and the GOP know they can get away with it because, after all, where are the men gonna go? Are they gonna vote for Obama? No. So, now, they are just chopped liver. Unappreciated. Now, Ann Romney tells us, they care less about their families and sigh much less about desperate economics that face their families. It’s the women, she instructs us Gloria Steinem-style, who care more. It’s the women who must–according her to NOW ethos–that must work far harder to prove themselves at work. Huh?

On what planet is she living? Certainly not the planet in which women are getting benefit after benefit, job after job, and promotion after promotion because of gender-based affirmative action. Oh, and guess what? Ann Romney says that single moms “hold America together.” No, moronette, they TEAR America APART. Incredible. Four years ago, we had a VP nominee who glorified single motherhood by pimping out her babymama daughter to reality shows and high-paid speaking engagements, promoting teen motherhood. Now, we regressed even further, with the First Lady wannabe embracing single motherhood as something that makes America great, when every single solid statistic shows they are a major factor in destroying America, by creating generations of fatherless kids who don’t want to be men and don’t know how (other than turning to drugs, crime, babydaddyhood, and slacking at home at age 35).

Here’s the text of Ann Romney’s horrifying speech (only horrifying if you have a brain and the ability to get beyond the rah-rah, let’s beat Obama and do-anything-to-get-there BS surrounding her absurd speech; for everyone else, you may return to your brainless drooling):

And if you listen carefully, you’ll hear the women sighing a little bit more than the men. It’s how it is, isn’t it?

It’s the moms who always have to work a little harder, to make everything right.

It’s the moms of this nation — single, married, widowed — who really hold this country together. We’re the mothers, we’re the wives, we’re the grandmothers, we’re the big sisters, we’re the little sisters, we’re the daughters.

You know it’s true, don’t you? You’re the ones who always have to do a little more.

You know what it’s like to work a little harder during the day to earn the respect you deserve at work and then come home to help with that book report which just has to be done. You know what those late night phone calls with an elderly parent are like and the long weekend drives just to see how they’re doing. You know the fastest route to the local emergency room and which doctors actually answer the phone when you call at night.

You know what it’s like to sit in that graduation ceremony and wonder how it was that so many long days turned into years that went by so quickly.

You are the best of America. You are the hope of America. There would not be an America without you.

Tonight, we salute you and sing your praises.

Hey, it’s the new Libyan Arab Spring “Democrats” that Sean Hannity and John McCain supported (Hannity was for them before he was against them, a la John Kerry–and now pretends he was against them, but click on the link and you’ll see the video where he attacked Obama for not supporting the Libyan rebels) and urged Barack Obama to arm and support (which he did). And look how tolerant they are of their fellow Muslims–same as it ever was in the Islamic world. Police stood by and allowed it to happen. As I’ve noted before on this site, different Muslim sects don’t recognize each other as being true Muslims. That’s especially true of most Muslims regarding Sufi Islam, which they regard as apostasy. (Sufis can be either Sunni or Shi’ite, but many Sunnis and Shi’ites reject them.)

Also, it’s incredible that our own U.S. military has ruined the careers of several soldiers who volunteered to serve because they made the mistake of accidentally burning some korans in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, how many korans were destroyed in the Al-Sha’ab mosque and fellow Muslims don’t give a crap because they can’t blame it on America (or the Jews)?

Armed men have bulldozed a mosque containing Sufi Muslim graves in the centre of the capital, Tripoli, in broad daylight, in what appeared to be Libya’s most blatant sectarian attack since the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi. . . . Read the rest of this entry »

Michigan State University students brutally attacked a fellow student because he is Jewish. They stapled his lips closed, broke his jaw, and he had to have surgery. Who did it? Even if the perpetrators were not Muslim, as I’ve noted time and again on this site, there has been much greater anti-Semitism around the world over the last decade-plus since 9/11, all because Muslims around the world have made it fashionable and hip to hate Jews. They’ve fostered this atmosphere.

The original article reporting this notes that the victim was active in Hillel, the far-left, pan-Muslim Jewish group organized on campus throughout America. Over the years, I’ve been contacted by several victims of anti-Semitic violence on the University of Michigan campus, and each time, the insane Hillel Director for Life, the self-hating, anti-Israel Michael Brooks, told the victims not to report the incidents to police or sue the perpetrators because he doesn’t want people to think there is anti-Semitism on campus or that Muslims are anti-Semitic. Brooks, also invited Muslims to pray at Hillel and essentially make it a mosque under Islamic law. I hope the Michigan State Hillel leaders are different, but I’m told they are not. Also note that the victim, Zachary Tennen, says he will contact the ADL. Big mistake. Betsy Kellman, the moronic head of the Michigan ADL, proudly said that she believes Orthodox Jews are terrorists and that Jews will be the ones who incite acts of terrorism in Michigan and it will be against Muslims. Kellman hosted an open Hezbollah/HAMAS supporter (whose family members are terrorists) as a “diversity week” speaker. She’s an anti-Semite herself. And you can bet that had she been at this party, she’d have done nothing. And maybe even joined in. She’s ignored and/or laughed at the many Muslim rape, torture, and death threats I received because she does not want to anger her Muslim buddies and has already said Jews are the real terrorists.

Journalism sophomore Zachary Tennen said he was assaulted in what his family has described as an anti-Semitic hate crime on the 500 block of Spartan Avenue early Sunday morning.

After Zachary Tennen was knocked unconscious at about 1:30 a.m. early Sunday morning at a party, his mouth was stapled shut by an assailant while about 20 individuals watched, Zachary Tennen said in a statement to the East Lansing Police Department.

Tonight, Ann Romney gives her speech at the Republican National Convention. And, on Sunday, in a “FOX News Sunday” interview with Chris Wallace, she repeatedly talked about “we” in an annoying way, as in “we’re running,” and “that’s why we’re running,” and “we’ve been running.” Last time I checked, the name Ann Romney wasn’t on my ballot in the Michigan Primary. If she says, “We’re running,” again in her speech tonight, I think I’ll hurl. We know, for instance, that Michelle Obama is the man in that relationship and she tells the Prez what to do. But she’s smart enough not to brag about it.

Um, here’s a scoop for Mrs. Romney–and it’s the same newsflash for Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Hussein Obama Idi Amin Dada: YOU are NOT running. You are not going to be President. You were never on my ballot, and you probably never will be. I didn’t see Hillary Rodham Clinton’s name (when she was still just Hillary Angry-Chick Clinton, spouse of a cheating candidate and, later, President) on the ballot when Bill Clinton ran for President. I didn’t vote for her (or him, for that matter). And I’m tired of this mindless elevation of First Ladies and uber-ambitious First Lady wannabes to candidates. With Ann Romney doing so, herself, it’s stepped up a notch. Bill Clinton did his annoying “two for one” crap with Hillary. Hillary got slapped down by mainstream Americans for thinking she was elected to Healthcare Czar and her secretive ClintonCare meetings were mocked and ridiculed. You’d think First Ladies would have learned. But nope, Michelle Obama is all over TV as America’s unwanted personal nurtritionist and fridge police, and now Ann Romney does this “we’re running” baloney.

Enough. You aren’t on the ballot. Stop pretending you are. Stay out of my kitchen and my exercise routine, Michelle Obama. And stick to public causes like cancer cures and feeding America’s hungry, which your husband helped create more of. Read the rest of this entry »

Last week, news leaked that the Obama administration secretly committed to send F-16s to Iran-backed, anti-Israel Iraq in two years. Those planes can be used not only to fire on Israel, but also to provide cover for any other country’s attempted attack on Iran, whether it is Iran’s nuclear weapons or any other target. Not only could the planes end up in Iranian hands, they could end up in Hezbollah’s hands. That’s not a stretch–it’s a likelihood.

Why are we doing this? Well, you can’t blame it only on Obama because, after all, it was President Bush who made the decision to waste thousands of American lives for the “noble” mission of handing over Iraq to Iran-backed Shi’ites and then call this new Iraq our “ally.” This is the next logical step. And it’s not logical at all, unfortunately. Nor was the whole free elections for Hezbollah Shi’ites in Iraq. When Iraq becomes part of the greater Iranian Shi’ite empire–and it basically already is–we will regret sending anything, including paper clips to Iraq, let alone F-16s. The news of the planes came on the heels of news that Iraq is helping Iran evade sanctions by sending goods through the Iraq-Iran border and bringing oil out of Iran through Iraq for later sale. As you read this, ask yourself if a President Romney will reverse this horrible decision. I doubt it.

Forget for a second that Barack Obama is currently the Commander-in-Chief, and consider the premise of one of ABC’s biggest new fall shows, which it is heavily promoting. You’ve probably seen the promos for “Last Resort,” which are in heavy rotation. What you probably don’t know is that it’s pure, unadulterated anti-war, anti-American fecal material. Here’s the description, which I copied from a recent edition of “Entertainment Weekly,” in its “Fall TV Preview”:

When Capt. Marcus Chaplin ([Andre] Braugher) defies orders to fire nuclear weapons at Pakistan, his submarine and crew become the U.S.A.’s target.” “Ninety-nine percent of these guys would have fired because that’s their job,” says [star Scott] Speedman, 37. “The guys say no, and we’ll deal with the consequences.”

The show’s tagline is “Honor In Defiance,” as if there is some sort of valor in soldiers refusing to follow orders, when American lives are at stake and there might be nuclear war. Disgusting. Video trailers for the show, like the one below, show that America attacks the submarine that refuses to follow orders and attack Pakistan, and the announcer says that they were “betrayed by their nation.” Puh-leeze. Promos for the show portray these soldiers as “courageous” for refusing orders to bomb a Muslim nation. Seems like this might be some sort of “fictional” attack on Israel and those on the right in America who want nuclear Iran taken out before it takes us out.

We’ve had enough draft-dodgers (including Barack Obama, a story I broke on this site in 2008 and which was shamelessly, admittedly ripped off by sleazy Sheriff Joe Arpaio for grandstanding purposes). We’ve had enough soldiers who became turncoats for Islam and killed their fellow soldiers on the battlefield. We certainly don’t need ABC glamorizing it further, and we don’t need more Obama-style programming on TV. But that seems to be what is going on here. It’s pure leftist bullcrap. Can’t let the day go by without noting the death of a truly great American, astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon, who patriotically planted the American flag there. Not only did he serve America as a Naval officer in the Korean War, but he was additionally a hero to countless millions. And not just because he walked first on the moon in July 1969 and so eloquently said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” He was brave and courageous like his fellow astronaut pioneers of the day because the astronauts did not know what fate awaited them in landing on the Moon and setting foot on it. And yet they risked their lives to reach the Moon out of a sense of patriotism and duty to America.

Earlier during his career, he could have died due to a malfunction during his Gemini 8. During those early days of the Space program, we didn’t know what kind of illnesses or other disasters could befall our men in space. As the first human on the Moon, Armstrong was a hero not just to Americans, but also to the world. We beat the Soviets in getting him on the Moon, but we won the hearts of the world (if ever so briefly) by doing so. He also inspired many American kids to go into science, an area in which we are now behind. Then, we were number one in getting to space. Now, we are number one (or close to it) in not being able to add or divide. And we are number one in viewership of “Kardashian” and “Teen Mom” reality shows. Neil Armstrong lived to see that decline.

As I wrote in my 2009 column on the 40th anniversary of the Armstrong’s historic flight to the Moon, “America Failed to Advance in Space in 40 Years Since Apollo 11: Real Science & Imagination Replaced by Junk“:

As a movie critic, I’ve been asked a lot lately if I saw the anti-Obama movie, “2016: Obama’s America,” which is in theaters today. My answer is no. I wasn’t sent a screener or invited to a screening. But, more important than that, I’m nauseated with all the gushing over Dinesh D’Souza, the maker of the film, who is also a well-known apologist for Islam and particularly extremist Muslims embraced and employed by the Obama administration, such as Obama adviser and Muslim Brotherhood agent Dalia Mogahed.

It’s funny how mindless gushers and bots in the lumpenconservatariat eagerly eat up his movie, despite the fact that D’Souza essentially blamed America for the 9/11 attacks, saying Muslims have a right to hate us because America is decadent (hmmm . . . is that a “legitimate rape” of America, Dinesh?). It’s a stark fact they either don’t know because they are incredibly ignorant or don’t care about, because they are incredibly stupid and unable to engage in any sort of critical thinking or analysis whatsoever. D’Souza wrote a whole book, “The Enemy at Home,” on the topic . . . a book that sounds like an echo chamber for the late Anwar Al-Awlaki and Osama Bin Laden. Here’s a tip, Dinesh: Muslims hate us and would attack us if we were boy scouts. There was NO excuse for the 9/11 attacks. Stop blaming the victim. D’Souza’s been a revered character in the HAMAS CAIR and organized extremist Muslim realms in America ever since. D’Souza wrote several pro-Muslim posts and columns in places like Huffington Post and Town Hall (which kicked me off at the request of jihadist Grover Norquist on behalf of his convicted Islamic Jihad terrorist friend, Sami Al-Arian, and Hezbollah/Arafat/Assad fan Jihad Darrell Issa). One of those D’Souza columns, “Who Speaks for Islam?,” which he wrote in September 2008, is especially disgusting. D’Souza praises and promotes a propaganda screed by Obama Muslim policy adviser Mogahed and John Esposito, long on the take from the various Arab emirates and Islamic groups that fund his pan-Islamic, uber-dhimmi teaching, writing, and research. If there was ever a “Judas” to Western civilization, he is it. Cha-ching. Here’s what D’Souza wrote in praising their taqiyyah BS book:

This book is a huge embarrassment to some conservatives who, based on no data and very little familiarity with the Muslim world, have been portraying Muslims as violent theocrats who reject modern science, modern democracy and modern capitalism and spend most of their day performing honor killings and genital mutilations. This portrait of the Muslim world is about as accurate as that of a Muslim who believes that typical Americans live their daily lives according to the values of “Natural Born Killers” and “Brokeback Mountain.” Read the rest of this entry »

I enjoyed one of the three new movie releases in theaters, this weekend. The other two, not so much. I did not review “The Apparition” or “2016: Obama’s America,” neither of which was screened for critics. And, then, there is the added fact that “2016” maker Dinesh D’Souza is a proud apologist for Islam and its extremist spokespeople, something I’ll tell you more about, later today.

* “Premium Rush“: I enjoyed this thriller. Full of heart-pounding, edge-of-your-seat action and suspense. And just an all-around enjoyable movie filled with mindless escapism. Some of the stunts are not believable–or that the people survived them–but this is the movies. You have to suspend disbelief for a movie like this, just as you would for a James Bond or Bourne movie.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a bike messenger in Manhattan, who is given an envelope to deliver by 7:00 p.m. in New York’s Chinatown. Soon, he is being chased by a man (with an obnoxiously thick New York accent), who he discovers is an unlikely assailant (Michael Shannon). While he races to deliver the envelope and also evade a cop on a bike, he also interacts with fellow bike messengers, including one he is dating, and tries to beat, evade, and get around traffic. Yet another Christian Arab ends up the water carrier dhimmi for Islam. This time with DC Comics. Geoff Johns, creative director of DC Comics made the latest Green Lantern an Arab. And he debuts it at the anti-Israel, jihadist, tax-funded Arab American National Museum, which, as I’ve repeatedly noted, is run by Muslims, who hijack Christian Arabs’ achievements in America in order to cover up their own extremism and lack of achievement. Now Johns is bending over for them, too. Moron.

DC Comics bigwig Geoff Johns, a Lebanese-American who grew up metro Detroit [sic], is coming home for events marking the debut of the first Arab-American Green Lantern.

Johns, a noted comic book writer who’s also DC’s chief creative officer, will sign copies of “Green Lantern #0” at Green Brain Comics on Sept. 7 and be the star attraction at two events at the Arab American National Museum on Sept. 8. Read the rest of this entry »
