Gore Vidal, Jew-Hater, RIH: William Buckley Smackdown VIDEO Contrasts w/ Wimps Running Natl Review Today

By Debbie Schlussel

I was still in junior high, when my late father educated me on who Gore Vidal was and told me about his famous dressing-down by the late, great William F. Buckley. Vidal, who is now officially dead (though it could be accurately argued that he was always brain-dead), was an anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, far left piece of crap and vastly overrated writer, worshipped at the altar of American Marxism. His writing and plays are boring and a waste of time. But he was typical of the pseudo-intellegentsia of the far left, an emperor with no clothing if there ever was one. He spoke out against American boys–many of whom did not come home or came home missing limbs–while they were fighting and winning against the Viet Cong in Vietnam, and he was one of the media elite who lost the war for them here on U.S. soil in the media. Oh, and he was related to Al Gore (no surprise there). Everything you need to know about this dearly departed swine, Vidal, is contained in this well-known exchange between Vidal and Buckley (who might have very accurately said some of the same words to the failed, moderate, current editor of his National Review, Rich Lowry) on Buckley’s PBS show, “Firing Line.” For the politically incorrect, Buckley thankfully made no apologies for telling Vidal, “Now, listen, you queer . . . .” Buckley smacked that schmuck down good. And that’s how they’ll both be remembered.

William F. Buckley Kicks Gore Vidal’s Anti-American, Jew-Hating Ass

Now, listen, you queer, stop calling me a crypto-Nazi, or I’ll sock you in your G-d-damned face, and you’ll stay plastered.

(Hey, I’m surprised Michelle “I Am A Woman Of Color” Malkin didn’t circulate a political correctness petition excommunicating Buckley from the right, as she tried to do to Ann Coulter at CPAC for using the f-word, which rhymes with what Fraudkin is–“maggot.”)

Contrast the way Buckley put him in his place with the cowardly girlie-men now at the helm of Buckley’s National Review today. Rich Lowry praised the New Black Panther Party and Al Sharpton, defending Trayvon Martin and attacking George Zimmerman for defending himself. He is tight with and his magazine honored jihadist anti-Semite Grover Norquist on a National Review cruise. Lowry agreed to erase NRO articles and ban their authors at the request of his Al-Qaeda friend, Suhail Khan, whose father brought Ayman Al-Zawahiri into America and to American mosques to raise money for Al-Qaeda. Jonah Goldberg, Senior NR editor, is close friends with uber-Marxist Peter “Let’s Boycott Apartheid Israel” Beinart. Where Buckley had the stones to expose and verbally attack Jew-hating vermin, the current National Review “leadership” snuggles up with the anti-Semites and far lefties. They simply don’t have the testicles–or any cojones at all, for that matter–to behave like real men and call evil out, as Buckley did Vidal.

Yup, Vidal’s worldview was that if you were an American patriot, you were a crypto-Nazi. And that’s funny because Vidal, himself, isn’t what you’d call a “crypto-Nazi,” but just a Nazi. He regularly questioned the patriotism of American Jews and attacked Israel, calling Jewish Americans a “fifth column” for supporting Israel, for which the also late, also great William Safire called him out. And, according to The Daily Beast, Read the rest of this entry »

The Taki Mrabet Olympic Hoax: When Anti-Israel Loons Can’t Find Anti-Israel Stories, They Make ‘Em Up

By Debbie Schlussel

Beginning on Sunday, a number of readers and some haters sent me the photo, below, which has been posted and made its way around the internet, congratulating “Taqi Murabit,” a Tunisian swimmer for refusing to compete against an Israeli. It was posted, among other places, on “Australians For Palestine,” a site that urges boycotts against Israel, and many Muslims and non-Muslim Jew-haters have been tweeting congratulations to “Murabit.” But not only is the story about Taki Mrabet (the correct spelling) a hoax, Mrabet was disqualified in the first heat of his Olympic swimming event.

This is a Muslim hoax . . .

Israeli Swimmer and IDF Sgt. Gal Nevo . . .

And, yes, he did swim against Israeli Gal Nevo, who is not in the Israeli Air Force, but serves in the IDF as a sergeant in a computer service unit. He is one of six Israeli soldiers who were given a two week vacation from their duties so they could compete on the Israeli Olympic Team. Yes, these people aren’t the courageous Jew-haters that others would have us believe, who drop out in the name of not losing to the Jews (which doesn’t exactly show courage, but, rather, a desire not to be embarrassed by the JOOOOS). They’re just bad swimmers who failed. So sad, too bad. Oh, and by the way, the guy in the photo is NOT even Taki Mrabet. It’s a photo of Oussama Mellouli, a 2008 Olympic gold medalist from Tunisia, who’d previously tested positive to using banned substances and finally copped to it. And by the way, he did not take any stand against Israeli athletes, either. Read the rest of this entry »

HUH? Detroit News Endorses Hezbollah Muslim for Judge “B/c He Speaks Arabic & is Lebanese”

By Debbie Schlussel

As more and more Muslims enter America and have a gazillion kids, you will see more and more ridiculous endorsements of them as they run for office across America and seek the power to change our Western way of life. And so it goes with the Detroit News’ endorsement of a judicial candidate on the sole grounds that he speaks Arabic.

I’ve written many times before on this site about sleazebag Detroit News Editorial Page Editor Nolan Finley, who turned the Detroit News editorial page from one of the most recognized conservative opinion pages in America (under his classy predecessor Thomas Bray) into the playground of open Muslim anti-Semitism. Finley welcomed to his pages Imam Mohammed Elahi, Ayatollah Khomeini’s former Navy imam, making him the first open Iran/Hezbollah agent columnist for a newspaper in North America. And Finley regularly published Elahi’s vile, Third-Reich-esque attacks on Jews. Finley published columns by anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist Mohammed Alomari, author of books and articles attacking the United States’ very existence as a “Zionist plot” and denouncing the Bush administration for having too many Jewish employees. The petty, insecure Finley also wrote an editorial attacking me for 1) having more success and recognition than he does and 2) coining the accurate term, “Dearbornistan.” (Then, the morons who run Detroit-area Orthodox Jewish school, Akiva Hebrew Day School, honored this schmuck, Finley, with the Lover of the Jewish People award. Katz told me, “well, we live in a Muslim city, and that’s the best we can do. And don’t you dare quote me on that.”) Now, Finley is at it again with more of his idiocy. He endorsed a Hezbollah-supporting Shi’ite Muslim, Adel Harb, for Wayne County Circuit Court Judge for the sole reason that Harb, “as a native of Lebanon, is a fluent Arabic speaker, a skill that could be useful.

Detroit Newsistan Pan-Arabist Nolan Finley (Left) Endorses Hezbollah’s Adel Harb “For Speaking Arabic”

HUH? HUH? HUH? We live in the United States of America. We speak English (for now). Judicial proceedings are in English (for now). NOT Arabic. Wayne County is the most populated county in Michigan. It is where Detroit and Dearbornistan are located. As an attorney, I’m in the courthouse with some frequency. There are plenty of Arab litigants there, and guess what? All Michigan courts have the ability to use interpreters. Most litigants in that courthouse are NOT Arabs, and the vast majority of them ONLY speak English. We do NOT elect judges on the basis of languages, other than English, that they speak! Saying he’s a good choice because he’s from Lebanon and speaks Arabic is a euphemistic way of saying the real reason they endorsed him: he’s Muslim.

Let me tell you about Adel Harb. He’s a Shi’ite Muslim who supports Hezbollah and Iran, hates Israel, and is an all-around extremist. Harb is a donor to the Arab American PAC (AAPAC), which is run by the likes of Islamic terrorist Imad Hamad (who committed marriage and immigration fraud, is a member of the PFLP terrorist group, and openly supports HAMAS and Hezbollah) and Hezbollah agent Osama Siblani, whose family members work for Al-Manar a/k/a Hezbollah TV. AAPAC endorsed a candidate for Congress who flew a swastika outside his home and whose campaign literature openly attacked the Jews. Adel Harb was a guest of honor at a recent anti-Israel rally held by Lebanese Shi’ite Muslims, at which Siblani called on attendees to vote for Harb for judge. Read the rest of this entry »

Romney “Jerusalem is Israel’s Capitol” BS Echoes Candidates Clinton, Both Bushes, Obama; Talk is Cheap; The Carney Video

By Debbie Schlussel

For the past several days, many readers and friends have sent me two related items that they don’t seem to understand quite well. The first is the video of two pro-Israel White House press corps members who demand that White House/Obama spokesman Jake Carney tell them what the capital of Israel is. And he predictably squirms, refusing to answer. People insist to me that this is stark evidence that the anti-Israel Obama hates Israel. Well, I already know he’s anti-Israel. But that video is a joke. Where were these two apparently pro-Israel reporters for the first eight of the last 11.5 years, when President Bush wouldn’t recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, refusing to move the U.S. Embassy there from Tel Aviv? Did they prefer not to embarrass President Bush and Dana Perino? Probably. ‘Cuz I guarantee you, they weren’t about to disappoint their Arab and Muslim friends and suddenly recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, something he never ever did for eight years in office. In fact, people have a short memory. The Bush administration went to war against American Jews born in Jerusalem who wanted their passports and other American documents to reflect their birthplace (and/or place of death on a death certificate) as “Jerusalem, ISRAEL,” expunging that from passports issued at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv. Bush fought this all the way up the Court system with Obama picking up the case when he took the White House and taking the case to the Supreme Court. If you said nothing about Bush policy on Israel for 8 years, you are a fraud and a hypocrite for focusing on Jake Carney’s statements now. And Romney won’t be any different.

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

You think Romney’s position on Israel will be different? Only if you’re a gullible moron and believe his campaign speech in Jerusalem yesterday about Jerusalem being Israel’s capital and how the U.S. Embassy should be there. Hey, guess who else visited Israel when running for Prez and said they’d move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem? Both Bushes, Clinton (who even absurdly promised the “first kosher kitchen in the White House”–which no one asked for or needs), and Obama. And guess what? They all lied. Romney is no different. I’ll wait to see, if Romney reaches the White House, whether those same reporters will dare ask his spokesliar (probably Hezbollah supporter Dan Senor, who orchestrated Romney’s Israel visit, wrote his speech yesterday, and got rich off his partnership with Chris Heinz of the Heinz-Kerry-Tides-Foundation gang) the same question. I guarantee you Romney won’t recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in the White House, and no one is moving the Embassy there any time in our lifetimes. Heck, when my former boss then-Congressman Phil Crane finally got his bill–to defund the State Department unless they moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem–to the Floor of the House, AIPAC (the fraudulent “pro”-Israel lobby) was calling all of his colleagues, demanding they vote against it. Wknd Box Office: Step Up Revolution, The Watch, Trishna

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s a TWO MARX weekend all around Sorry, folks, but I did not particularly like any of the new movies, out this weekend. So far this summer, there haven’t been many good movies.

* “Step Up Revolution“: This is the latest–I think the fourth installment–of the “Step Up” movies. You don’t have to see any of the others to know what’s going on in this one. In fact, most of them are independent of each other in cast and, um, “plot” (if you can call it that).

This ridiculous movie had the same old, tired, hackneyed standby left-wing Hollywood narrative: evil, White, wealthy capitalist businessman wants to buy up the indigenous people’s slums and kick them out for a development. In this case, the White dude is a hotel magnate from Connecticut (Peter Gallagher) who just bought Miami’s Dimont Hotel (really, Miami Beach’s Eden Roc Hotel, a terrific hotel at which I used to stay often with my family for Passover, and later on business; it’s got the greatest hotel gym I’ve ever seen–loved working out, there). He’s buying up a decayed strip of land occupied by Cubans’ businesses, including a bar, so that he can evict them and develop the land into skyscrapers and shopping. But his daughter, an aspiring dancer, joins a group of the Cubans and their friends in a flash mob, called “The Mob,” who mob streets, restaurants, museums, and other places with cool dance routines, which they videotape and post on YouTube in an online contest to win money and fame. They are also using “The Mob” to fight the developer and his zoning bid to develop the land. Read the rest of this entry »

Mitt Romney Refused Memorial For Slain Israeli Athletes as Salt Lake Olympic Chief; Denounced US Fans

By Debbie Schlussel

In 2002, I was on CNN criticizing the Olympic Games’ refusal to memorialize the Israeli athletes murdered by Islamic terrorists at the Munich Olympic Games in 1972 (see video, below). It was then the 30th anniversary of the Munich Olympic Massacre, and Mitt Romney was running the Salt Lake Games. He was approached by many who wanted the Israeli athletes memorialized, and yet, he ignored those requests and joined IOC Chief Jacques Rogge in refusing to do anything to remember them. Now, ten years later, Mitt Romney echoed (more than a week later) even anti-Israel Barack Obama in calling for an official Olympic memorial to the Israeli athletes. But it’s just more evidence of how cheap talk is for Mitt Romney and what a hypocrite and fraud he is. As the chief of the Salt Lake Olympic Games, he could have done a memorial. But he chose not to. Instead, he got $380 million in U.S. tax money for his Olympics (something the GAO reported, but which Romney conveniently skips over when he gushes over his Olympic Games), and, as I noted on this site in 2002, used some of it to have an Olympic Memorial to Florence Griffith-Joyner a/k/a “Flo-Jo,” whose death had absolutely NOTHING to do with the Olympics, in the Salt Lake Games’ Opening Ceremony. The Alvin Ailey-choreographed memorial cost $2-3 million dollars and was publicly funded by American tax dollars. And, by the way, the Flo-Jo memorial puts the lie to Rogge’s claim that the Olympics doesn’t want memorials in the Opening Ceremonies or references to sad events. It’s just more BS by him. In addition to refusing to memorialize the Israeli athletes, Mitt Romney also denounced American fans cheering for Team USA just a few months after the 9/11 attacks. More on that later. But first, read this about Romney’s views on the Israeli Olympic athletes who died (and whom he refused to memorialize when he had the chance):

U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney, about to visit the London Olympics and Israel, said for the first time on Monday that he supports an official minute of silence at Friday’s opening ceremony for the Games to honor Israeli athletes killed at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

Romney’s move broke years of his own silence on the issue, including his time leading the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002. During those Games, survivors of the slain Israelis called on the International Olympic Committee to observe a moment of silence to mark what was the 30th anniversary of the deaths in Munich. . . . Lebanese Olympic Team Refuses to Train Next to Israeli Jews; Apartheid Olympics Erects Barrier

By Debbie Schlussel

Though the London Olympic Games Opening Ceremonies take take place tonight, the ghosts of the Islamic terrorists at Munich win yet again. Jacques Rogge, the anti-Semitic International Olympic Committee chief, who refuses to memorialize the Israeli athletes slain at Munich by those terrorists, built an apartheid structure for intolerant, anti-Semitic Lebanese Olympic team members who refuse to be anywhere near Israelis ‘cuz they might get the cooties or something. If Rogge had any testicles–and he does not, or even a modicum of decency (and he ain’t got that either), he’d tell the Lebanese to get lost. And FYI, many of the Lebanese competitors are not Muslims. Some are Chistian. But they hate Jews just the same. Face that fact. It’s not just Islam. It’s Arabia. (As I recently told you, Lebanese recording artist and Christian Arab, Najwa Karam, said her ideal man would be part Hitler.) And Lebanon is basically Hezbollahstan these days to anybody who knows anything about what’s going on there.

By the way, this is the Olympics that already banned a Greek athlete for making a racist comment. But the Lebanese Arab bigotry, well, that’s tolerated.

Romney Israel Fundraiser Could Net Millions @ $50,000-$100,000 Per Couple

By Debbie Schlussel

Many readers have asked me my thoughts on Mitt Romney’s impending trip to Israel. My response has been that George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Hussein Obama all visited Israel when they were running for President. Not a single one of them turned out to be a good friend of Israel, but they all did right by their Arab Muslim buddies whose states and terrorist camps they deliberately did not visit during the campaign (though George W. Bush made many wasted trips to Dearbornistan to get the Muslim endorsement, which he got). And, as I noted yesterday, Romney hired a number of anti-Israel foreign policy advisers for his campaign. But, now, it appears that the trip to Israel has even less to do with Israel, per se, and more to do with raising gazillions of campaign dollars from ex-pat U.S. citizens who live there. A Monday Romney fundraiser at the swanky King David Hotel in Jerusalem stands to raise Romney millions of dollars. Admission is $50,000 per couple or a commitment to raise $100,000. (And billionaire Sheldon Adelson (who contributed to my campaign for the Michigan House) is expected to be there. He’s pledged to spend $100 million to help elect Romney.) Romney is not going to Israel out of any great personal or heartfelt concern for the Jewish State. It’s about PR and dollars. Plus it’s about appealing to the evangelical Christian voters, who aren’t too crazy about Romney but care far more about the State of Israel, sadly, than most American Jewish voters. After the election, none of that will matter much to Romney. Hint: he ain’t movin’ the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.

Alex Gilady: Meet the Jewish Israeli IOC Kapo Behind the Olympic Refusal to Remember Slain Israeli Athletes

By Debbie Schlussel

Israel’s and the Jews worst enemies are not Muslims. They are Israel and the Jews. And so it goes with Alex Gilady, Israel’s member of the International Olympic Committee, one of the biggest sellouts of Israel and the Jewish people in contemporary times. A multi-millionaire, he acquired his wealth by selling out Israel and the Jewish people to Egypt and the International Olympic Committee. And now he’s done it again by leading the opposition to an Olympic memorial to the Israeli athletes murdered in cold blood by Islamic terrorists at the Munich Olympics. While historically, the IOC refuses to remember these slain athletes, Blessed Be Their Memories, to appease Muslims and Islamic nations, this time around, they have a Jew, officially representing Israel, leading the cause.

munichterrorist.jpg

munichisraelicoffin.jpg

noolympics1.jpgnoolympics2.jpg

For more than two decades, I’ve been speaking out about the outrageous International Olympic Committee refusal to memorialize the Israeli athletes slain at the Munich Olympic Games in 1972. And while the Olympic Games have a near-century history of anti-Semitism from Avery Brundage to Jacques Rogge, this time around the refusal to recognize the Israeli athletes who gave their lives for this over-hyped, meaningless faux-amateur sports-fest rests not just on Rogge and the IOC’s pandering to Muslims. Nope, this time around, it’s Israel’s Jewish representative to the IOC, Gilady, who is leading the charge with Rogge, to deny these slaughtered athletes some recognition as the victims of Islamic terrorism. Like many of the corruptocrat Israelis appointed by Israel to the IOC, Mr. Gilady is a far-left journalist who is more interested in money and riches than doing the right thing for his country.

Alex Gilady, a Sephardic Jew born in Muslim Iran, would clearly be an uber-kapo if the Holocaust were going on today, instead of the London Olympic Games. Israel’s TV news and newspapers are notoriously self-hating, anti-Israel, and far-left. And Gilady came up through those ranks. He worked for Israel’s state-run TV and also for Yediot Ahronot, both of which were and continue to be as anti-Israel as the mainstream media here. His uber-liberal “journalism” is the reason he was granted the first Israeli passport to Egypt. He was rewarded with this because he was a non-stop pimp for the Camp David Peace Accords and the amputation of the Sinai to Egypt in exchange for a piece of paper that is especially meaningless now that the Muslim Brotherhood took over (an easily predictable development). And since he played his loyal role for the left in Israel’s press, the liberal Yitzchak Rabin-led Israeli government in 1993 rewarded Mr. Gilady with a sweetheart, no-competitive-bid deal to buy and run Israel’s first privately-owned television station. That’s made him rich beyond his wildest dreams, and his television station regularly spouted anti-Israel leftism. But all of that was after, he’d already made a mint by doing business with the International Olympic Committee as a European Union journalist (and we all know how anti-Israel the EU is) and as an employee of NBC, since 1981. He was NBC’s liaison to the IOC and its Vice President of Global Operations. Gilady was instrumental in getting the network its exclusive long-term deal to broadcast the Olympics in the U.S. through 2008, which made him big bucks. And you don’t get those broadcast rights and the big bucks that come with them, by pushing the Olympics to recognize slain Israeli athletes. By the way, NBC’s approval was necessary for Gilady to own the Israeli television station while he remained on the network’s payroll. And that approval was easily granted because, hey, he’d never advocate for Israeli memorials at the Olympics and jeopardize NBC’s Olympic megabucks. Yes, this is clearly not a man who will ever represent Israeli interests on the IOC, but rather his own left-wing and bank account interests.

And the relatives of the slain Israeli athletes say that Mr. Gilady is not only just one vote against memorializing the Israeli athletes at the Olympics. He’s the leading force against it, they say. And they’re right. Sources say Mr. Gilady–along with Mr. Rogge–aggressively lobbied all other members of the IOC to vote against an official memorial at the London Games. Gilady claims that he voted against it because he’s afraid of a backlash. Uh-huh . . . a backlash against his bank account. His stark conflicts of interest should have disqualified Gilady from ever being nominated by Israel to serve on the IOC. But that’s what Israel does: never missing an opportunity for self-flagellation. It’s Jewish guilt on steroids. And a shtetl mentality that should have died with the Holocaust, but sadly was nurtured by its memories.

Israel’s IOC member, Alex Gilady, is among those opposed to having a moment of silence in the London opening ceremony, a stand many in his country find incomprehensible. Read the rest of this entry »

James “F— The Jews” Baker Now Romney Foreign Policy Adviser (Along w/ Other Israel-Haters)

By Debbie Schlussel

Don’t fall for Mitt Romney’s trip to Israel, one which every major candidate for President takes these days (even Obama did when he was running in 2008). Or his tough pro-Israel talk when he’s there. Talk is cheap, and so is a plane ticket. Look at who is advising him on Israel and the Middle East. It’s mostly not a pretty picture.

mittromney.jpgmittromneyflipblackwhite.jpg

A few weeks ago, I told you that James Baker–who famously said, “F— the Jews” (about Israel)–was advising Mitt Romney. I knew this from inside sources. And it was obvious, anyway, with Baker’s prominent role (along with Condi Clueless) at Romney’s recent weekend fundraising retreat, out West. But one reader e-mailed me demanding a mainstream media source, because to far too many clueless “conservatives,” if the lying liberal mainstream media doesn’t report it (or rip it off from this site), then it ain’t true. Now that reader who said she “hasn’t heard it anywhere else” (so, by her logic, it can’t be true) has her mainstream liberal media confirmation echo of what I wrote, courtesy of the Wall Street Journal. And the Journal confirms that other typically anti-Israel individuals, like Henry Kissinger, are also advising Romney.

In case you don’t know, self-hating Jew Kissinger tried to stop Nixon from sending weapons to Israel (or even blocking the waterways from Arab weapons) during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. For years and to date, he’s been a paid lobbyist and consultant to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is why he was nixed from the 9/11 Commission after Bush and Republicans initially tried to get him appointed. Kissinger’s consulting firm represented the “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” movie (read my review) filmmakers in negotiating filming in Egypt and agreed to Egyptian Antiquities Minister and open Jew-hater Zahi Hawass’ demand that Israel be eliminated from the film (the movie portrays Jordan as Egypt’s neighbor with no Israel in between).

But Baker is far worse. Read my father’s all-encompassing column about what James Baker wrought on Israel and the Middle East. It’s a must-read and frightening. I guarantee you will not be aware of most of what is in it. In addition to what is in the column, Baker was behind the very anti-Israel policy of the Bush daddy administration and was more than just Secretary of State to him. He advised George H.W. Bush to pressure Israel and deny loan guarantees to Israel unless it agreed to pull out of settlements and stop building them, saying, “F— the Jews!” Thankfully, the late Yitzchak Shamir rebuffed the pressure. Baker, knowing that Jews do not typically hunt (because it is against our religion), publicly used an anti-Semitic quail-hunting analogy to characterize Israel and Prime Minister Shamir (hint: Israel and Shamir were the quail being hunted in the analogy). And Baker was friendly with Yasser Arafat and other anti-Israel forces, including Muslim nations that later paid his law firm for lobbying and consulting. His firm’s largest client was and is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As the architect of the “Iraq Study Group,” his report blamed Israel for the war in Iraq and said the only way to fix things was to further shrink Israel with more land concessions.

I’ve already told you about Romney Middle East adviser Dan Senor, the liberal, self-hating Jewish Republican who made it big in Washington by helping his then-boss HAMASCAIR fan Spencer Abraham send over $85 million in foreign aid to Hezbollah in South Lebanon, just after Israel pulled out of the region. They tried to get $268 million, and they did it at the request of anti-Israel activist James Zogby, an open Hezbollah and HAMAS supporter. Also at Zogby’s request, Senor helped Abraham block money for a computerized alien-tracking system that would have kept track of aliens who visit the country on student, visitor, special talent, and other types of visas, after Congress had voted to do that and Bill Clinton signed it into law. Senor also helped Abraham put HAMAS CAIR on the map, when Abraham personally took HAMAS CAIR representatives around Capitol Hill to meet other Senators and Members of Congress. And before he left to work for the Bin Laden Carlyle Group, Senor proudly stood by his boss Abraham, as he was one of only two U.S. Senators refusing to sign a letter to Bill Clinton, calling on him to condemn Yasser Arafat and the many homicide bombings that had just occured at that time in Israel, at a pizza shop, a bar, buses, and elsewhere. Senor’s wife, the failed TV news host Campbell Brown (an uber-liberal who is now attacking liberals because she’s trying to get hired by FOX News), was the concubine of Saudi Ambassador Adel Al-Jubeir before she “dated” (euphemism) Senor. And she was known for her gushing, pandering interviews of HAMAS leaders, including Abdel-Aziz Al-Rantissi, to whom she threw softball questions. Later, as an NBC White House correspondent, she helped boytoy Al-Jubeir cover up Saudi then-Crown-Prince Abdullah’s refusal to allow women on the tarmac or in the control tower of the Waco airport when the Prince went to visit President Bush at his Crawford, Texas ranch.

The only decent Romney foreign policy adviser is John Bolton (and maybe George Schultz, who turned out to be okay under Reagan), but he’s apparently on the team as a symbolic sop to conservatives and doesn’t hold much sway with Romney, as opposed to the others.

With little foreign-policy experience of his own, Mitt Romney is relying on both moderate and hawkish neoconservative advisers as he embarks this week on his first overseas trip as the presumptive Republican presidential candidate. . . . His decision to tap several high-profile moderate advisers says that a President Romney might not adopt policies quite as tough as some of his campaign talk on issues such as Iran and China suggests.
