The TSA has basically just admitted that removing shoes and jackets, examining laptops, and going through the pat-down at airport security checkpoints is not effective and doesn’t do a damned thing.  No, the agency didn’t explicitly say so.  But it announced it will no longer do these things for senior citizens, aged 75 and older, or for people willing to pay $100 a year in a new program called, “Precheck.”  Yes, as in the past, you can buy–or age–your way out of all of these hassles.

And what the TSA is saying by eliminating these processes for some groups is that they don’t really work in the first place.  If they did, the TSA wouldn’t be sending an instant message to Islamic terrorists to recruit old Muslims and Muslims with no criminal record willing to pay $100.  I think Al-Qaeda will even front the hundy.  The TSA didn’t just say, “We’ll stop fully screening 75-year-old little old ladies from Pasadena and their similarly aged husbands.”  The agency will also stop fully screening 75-year-old little old Mohammeds from Dearbornistan and their similarly aged four sharia wives.  And that’s why the policy is useless. Remember when MSNBC spittle-master Chris Matthews drooled that he had a thrill up his leg for Barack Obama?  How could you forget?  Well, now, we have even worse–sports announcer, Clark Kellogg, not only gushing over Obama but touching him so many times, the two of ’em needed to get a room.

It’s bad enough that–through three years of a horrible economy, this Fool-in-Chief is too busy composing his NCAA basketball bracket and providing his hoops commentary and analysis–the real “March Madness.” But now it comes with not-so-veiled “admirers.” Watch this and cringe. Michael Ben-Ari is an elected Member of the Knesset, Israel’s parliament.  But the Obama adminstration is denying him a visa to the United States.  Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and their minions are calling this man a “terrorist,” even though he’s never been a member of a terrorist group and never participated in a terrorist attack.  Instead, he’s a respected elected official in Israel, who commands the respect of members of all parties along the ideological divide.  And, yet, this is the second time (2009 was the first) that Dr. Ben-Ari has been denied entry here.

Yet, admitted Jew-killers and terrorists like Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas a/k/a “Abu Mazen,” who was the paymaster of the Munich Olympic terrorists, are welcome guests not only in the U.S. but at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  Unlike Ben-Ari, Abbas has not faced a democratic election in some time, and if he were to face one today, he’d lose to HAMAS.

So, what is Ben-Ari’s “crime”?  What has he done that is so offensive and noxious to the Obama border police who will let all of the scum of the earth into the U.S. but not this man who grew up in liberal Tel Aviv, has a Ph.D., and served in the Israeli Army with honor? For those who believe that Sarah Palin is the messiah and can do no wrong, nor can her babymama daughter, this will fall on willingly deaf ears.  And that’s sad.  However, their whining–and the whining of many conservatives fooled by the ex-half-governor with no clothing–garnered HBO it’s most watched movie original film since 2004.  Yup, all of  you who whined endlessly about the movie played right into HBO’s marketing plans.  You got played, when you should have ignored it and moved on.

Even though I know Sarah Palin is ignorant, most other prominent conservatives are not, and I saw the movie as a likely unfair attack on conservatives in a Presidential election year in which the top Republican candidates are far wiser and more informed than Palin.  I know that anything starring uber-lefty Ed Harris (who famously sat on his hands in protest when anti-Communist Elia Kazan received an Oscar), New Age weirdo Woody Harrelson, or uber-liberal former babymama Julianne Moore–let alone all three–is destined to be liberal propaganda.  But the smart thing to do was to ignore the typical HBO drivel as if it were MSNBC.  Instead, many conservatives naively played your role to promote a movie you didn’t see and claimed to hate and got it the best ratings for its category on HBO in eight years.  Congrats:

HBO’s Game Change premiered with an average of 2.1 million viewers at 9 PM on Saturday to become the network’s most watched original film in almost 8 years, since the 2004 Something The Lord Made (2.6 million). The movie about John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign and the meteoric rise of Sarah Palin from a little known Alaska Governor to super-star Republican running mate, doubled the premiere audience of the previous HBO movie from the same writer (Danny Strong) and director (Jay Roach), Recount, which chronicled events surrounding the 2000 presidential elections. It also outperformed the opening nights of recent HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce (1.3 million), Generation Kill (1 million) and John Adams (1.8 million). For the weekend, Game Change averaged 3.6 million viewers over multiple plays. Read the rest of this entry »

You may have seen the news story that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Serve is granting a permit to allow the Northern Arapaho Indian Tribe of Wyoming to kill two bald eagles for religious purposes, after the tribe filed suit in federal court, last year.  As you probably know, the bald eagle, our national bird, is no longer listed as endangered.  However, since 1995 it’s been classified as “threatened” and it’s still off limits, pursuant to federal law.

But here’s what you probably didn’t know:  the absurd–and frankly, VERY CREEPY, extent to which our government has gone to accommodate animal rights activists and still allow Indians to practice their faith:

You’ll see no tears from me over the end of the published hard copy version of Encyclopedia Brittanica.  My only regret is that the anti-Israel, pan-Arabist screed pretending to be an objective, impartial encyclopedia is still published online.  Fortunately, the Brittanica folks were late to the game online and will never catch up to take a top spot–or even a top 100th spot–in google searches on much of anything, except the term “Encyclopedia Brittanica.”

In its revisionist rendition of Israeli history, from the founding of the Jewish State through every war, Brittanica repeatedly portrayed Israel as the aggressor, including the 1967 Six Day War, which is well known to be the result of aggression by each of Israel’s neighbors, whom Israel asked not to go to war against it.  But they chose to anyway, joining Egypt’s Nasser in his military salvos.  Israel merely responded.  Winning over enemies who come to kill you ain’t aggression.  But it is, according to Brittanica. If you’re one of those weird sickos who has a strange fetish for naked pregnant women, this post isn’t for you. Report to your nearest loony bin.  But for everybody else, I hope you agree with me that this “look at me naked and pregnant” craze must go.  First, it was Demi Moore years ago, when she hadn’t yet moved on to marrying her son.  Then, it was fellow skanks Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.  Then, it was Mariah Carey and Nia Long, ‘cuz you know that in the age of civil rights and equality the Black chicks gotta get in on the stupidity.  And now it’s Jessica Simpson.  And she’s not just posing pregnant and nude on the cover of the latest issue of Elle magazine.  She’s also shown again in underpants with her babydaddy kissing her stomach.  Uggh.  Yet another thing to file under the TMI category.  Too.  Much.  Information.

Is there a reason we need to see this naked pregnant chick?  I mean, is there a reason beyond . . . look at me, look at me, look at me?  Nope.  Tonight, her new fashion competition reality show debuts on NBC, and I understand the need for attention and attention-seeking stunts to drive ratings her way.  But it says a lot if posing naked and pregnant on a magazine cover is the only way you can get it.  Sad.  As I’ve said repeatedly on this site, there is sadly no such thing as privacy anymore in our Twitter/Facebook/look-at-me/notice-me/make-me-famous-and-if-I’m-famous-do-anything-to-get-attention-and-keep-me-famous culture. I’ve noticed an annoying trend, lately.  But I seem to be the only one who finds it disturbing:  former hostages and kidnapees seeking fame and seemingly desperate for attention.  Jaycee Dugard and Elizabeth Smart are Exhibits A and B.  They’ve been free for some time, and yet they won’t go away quietly, to no benefit for the rest of us.

Tonight, Dugard, the woman who was kidnapped for 18 years and raped, will make her gazillionth appearance on ABC News.  According to reports, she’ll “catch audiences up with how her life is going now,” as if we really, really need to know.  I’m glad she’s safe and I know this might sound insensitive, but I really don’t care “how her life is going now.”  This morning, I didn’t wake up and say, “Gee, I wonder how Jaycee Dugard is doing right now.”  If you did, you don’t have a life.  And you probably need help.

I feel for both these young women who were kidnapped and raped.  But now they are safe.  And they really need to move on.  It used to be that victims of horrendous crimes either went quietly away to live their lives, thankful to have survived.  Or they crusaded against their perpetrators and to change laws to help future potential victims.  Dugard and Smart have chosen a new path:  seeking to be Kardashians. Yesterday, I told you what’s really behind the murder of a Black thug at a Detroit gas station in an argument over the price of condoms:  Islamic racism against Blacks.  As I told you, there’s a history of racism and violent attacks, including murder, against Black customers by Arab Muslim gas station owners and clerks.  I told you I’d bet my bottom dollar that the man who shot Michael Haynes would have an Arab Muslim name.  And whaddya know?  Today, Ibrahim Kassim Saleh, age 23, was charged with first degree murder for shooting Haynes in the back as he was leaving the gas station.

While no one defends the behavior of Haynes, who pushed over shelves of merchandise during an argument about the price of condoms he’d just purchased, that is no excuse to shoot him in the back as he was leaving.  While Haynes was a scumbag, had a criminal record (for home invasion and cocaine possession), and the streets are probably a little cleaner with his loss, the fact is that–as I’ve told you–there have been many like him who were attacked by Arab Muslim gas station workers and owners, who did not have criminal records and did not throw merchandise on the ground.  Yet, they met the same fate.  This is about Arab Muslim violence and racism against Blacks that spans continents.  It’s part of Arab Muslim culture that refers to Blacks as “abed” (slave) or “abeed” (slaves), a vernacular that is the Arabic equivalent of the N-word.

Is Saleh a U.S. citizen? Or is he an illegal alien or green card holder? It will be interesting to see just who he is, but don’t hold your breath for the mainstream media to answer these questions, let alone ask them in the first place.
