WSJ Digs Up Gingrich’s “College Records” BUT NOT Obama’s

By Debbie Schlussel

We now know irrelevant minutiae about Newt Gingrich’s time as a professor at a small Georgia college in the early ’70s.  And, yet, we still haven’t seen a single transcript from Barack Obama’s days in college or law school, or a single shred of the files from his time as a college professor.  And, yet, unlike Gingrich, he’s the sitting President of the United States and has been for three years.  Why is that?

Release the Obama Transcripts!

Readers of this site know I have my problems and concerns with Newt Gingrich (see also here), though I have plenty of the same with Mitt Romney (and I would vote for either against Barack Obama in November).  But today’s Wall Street Journal has an absurd article digging up Newt Gingrich’s “record” as a professor in the early 1970s at West Georgia College.  Despite trying to make Gingrich look bad, the record presents what we already know about him:  that he’s forward-thinking, full of revolutionary ideas, and that he was very ambitious from the start.  Nothing wrong with any of those things.

But, again, why do we know nothing–absolutely nada–about Barack Obama’s time in college, grad school, or as a professor? Read the rest of this entry »

Ahmad Siddiqi: Hey, It’s Another Honor Killing by “American” Muslims

By Debbie Schlussel

Here is yet another person you can think of whenever you are reminded by HAMAS CAIR and other Muslim propagandists about the “many loyal Muslims” who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. I hope that this al-Marine won’t be treated better than the Marines who pissed on dead terrorists (and did the world a service). They will probably be charged with War Crimes and do hard time, as in a military court there is a presumption of guilt. And he . . . well, he’s innocent until proven guilty and will probably end up with some sort of aggravated manslaughter plea, despite what he’s facing now.

Get Off Paula Deen’s Ass – She Didn’t Stuff Your Face

By Debbie Schlussel

There are two “news” stories of which I’m particularly tired.  One is the new baby of Beyonce and Jay-Z and the excessive gushing over this nothing by all of the media.  This mere baby is suddenly the new supreme being of the universe for some reason because her dad is a foul-mouthed, over-rated rap star and her mother is a pop singer.  So what, who cares.  The other annoying story stuck in an endless echo chamber is the “Paul Deen has diabetes, and she deserves it ‘cuz her recipes are unhealthy, nah-nah nah-nah nah-nah!” baloney.  The schadenfreude-style gloating of the nanny-staters who want to tell me what to eat, how much, and when is just a little disgusting.  I’m tired of hearing it. Shut up already.

Photoshop from Frugal Cafe Blog Zone

The Paula Deen story is a national IQ test.  If you join the snickering groupthink crowd and blame the excess of Type 2 diabetes and fat kids in America on her, you failed . . . and you’re a liberal–which is just a nicer way of saying, you failed.  These same liberals who attack Paula Deen for making a cheesecake are the same ones whining that the Gitmo detainees only get five versions of halal cheesecake and not 15.  Nobody put a gun to your head and forced you or any other American to make Deen’s fattening, butter-laden foods.  No one forced you to eat it, especially the whole thing.  No one made you sit on your ass afterward and not go for a walk or do something to work it off.  That was your choice.  If you’re in a wheelchair or paralayzed, that’s a different story (and it’s still not Paula Deen’s fault).  But, for everybody else, your excuse isn’t Paula Deen.  It’s you. There’s a reason the word is “self-control,” not “Paula-Deen-control.” Try it, sometime. Read the rest of this entry »

SCHMUCK: NYTimes Blogger Says Israeli Jews “Having Too Many Kids”

By Debbie Schlussel

The New York Times has officially embraced the Nazi policy of Judenrein.  The “newspaper of record’s” official “Jewish” (in name only) blogger, leftist Shmuel Rosner (f0rmerly a correspondent for Ha’Aretz, the left-wing Israeli newspaper of self-hatred), writes about how upset he is that Jewish Israelis are having more kids, which hinders his apparent dream of the Palestinian Muslims within Israel ultimately  outnumbering the Jews via birthrate.  He’s upset that the Israeli government encourages couples to have children and calls this unethical and against the “general good.”  But it gets worse.  This schmuck-and-a-half compares Israel’s recent high fertility rates to the demand by an assassin of an Israeli prime minister to reproduce and other creepy stuff.  Yup, all Israeli Jews who wanna have kids are murderers and creepy bizarros, right?  In the NYHAMASTimes’ view, that would be a spot on observation.

HAMAS: No More “Palestinian Idol” (Not Enough Jew-Hatred Songs?)

By Debbie Schlussel

If there were a Suliman Al-Cowell and Joumanifer HaLopezad in Gaza, they’d be unemployed and hurting for cash.  Ditto for Samer Tyler.   That’s because HAMAS just canceled an “X-Factor”/American Idol”-style show in Gaza, deeming that it was “indecent.”  Since there is no detail on what was “indecent” about the show, “New Star,” I’m thinking maybe there weren’t enough songs like Smoky Al-Jihadinson’s “The Tears of a Jew” or Kafiriner’s “I’ve Been Waiting for 72 Girls Like You.”  Or maybe someone sang, “Young Turks,” and HAMAS was disappointed that it wasn’t about the terrorists on the Gaza flotilla who injured and tried to murder Israelis.

Get Ready for the Michelle Obama Campaign “Book Tour” – You’re Paying

By Debbie Schlussel

Just in time for the 2012 Presidential Election campaign season, get ready for the Michelle Hussein Obama book tour.  You’re paying for it.  Yup, yet another example emerges to demonstrate how shameless the Obamas are in coming up with ways to waste your money to underwrite their campaign, so they can live it up in the White House another four years.

On April 10th, Mrs. Obama releases her new book, “American Grown: How the White House Kitchen Garden Inspires Families, Schools, and Communities.”  Wow, someone’s full of herself.  I haven’t seen a single fat kid suddenly work out and eat carrots because of the garden Empress Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Hussein Obama Idi Amin Dada pretends to grow.  Have you?  I haven’t seen a single inner city or suburban American kid give up Chicken McNuggets, Whoppers, and Lucky Charms because of “her” garden. HILARIOUS Video: The Muslim World’s Littlest Dictator

By Debbie Schlussel

You gotta watch this video.

Of all the Muslim countries, Morocco is among the most “moderate,” the most hospitable to Jews (there was a Jewish member of its parliament for years), and the closest to Israel, but all that is relatively speaking.  Still, you have to laugh at this video of Crown Prince Moulay El-Hassan, the eight-year-old Crown Prince and heir to the throne of his father, King Mohammed VI of Morocco.  All of these people pandering, bowing down, and kowtowing to this spoiled little kid–who was born in 2003–is a bit over the top. (You don’t need to understand Arabic to understand what is going on in the video.)  But, like I said, calling Morocco, ” among the most moderate,” is relative to the other countries in the Muslim world.  That they fawn over this little kid shows you just how “moderate” it is.  This brat could become King at any time, and then they will be ruled by his fiat.

funnyvideo

Not that “democracy” in the Muslim world is better. It isn’t. It’s worse and involves Crown Princes of a different kind. I’d definitely take Moroccan monarchy any day over the Muslim Brotherhood and its ilk running Egypt, Libya, etc. Ironically, despite all the kinds of stuff in the video, Prince Moulay Hassan will probably turn out to be the most humane and decent head of state in the Muslim world when he takes power. Still, this is worth a look . . . and a laugh. Read the rest of this entry »

Book by King Friend: MLK Jr. Was a Conservative – On Immigration, Anti-Semitism, Etc.

By Debbie Schlussel

If he were around today, would Martin Luther King, Jr. be a liberal fanatic and shake down artist like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?  No, says Clarence B. Jones, co-writer of King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech and a very close friend of King, in, “What Would Martin Say?,” a book he co-wrote with Joel Engel, a fantastic writer and screenplay author of whom I’m a huge fan.  It’s a quick and easy read and very interesting.  Here are a couple of excerpts.

martinlutherking2.jpg

Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Conservative

On illegal aliens:

What would Martin say to illegal aliens?  He’d say, “If you’re in this country illegally, have you come here in order to protest what you consider an ‘unjust law?’  If you haven’t, then for whatever other reason you’re here, even if it’s to make money for your sick child, which is as good a reason as there is, then you’re just violating the immigration laws of this country and deserve no more consideration from the authorities than does a thief. Martin Luther King, Jr. Was Pro-Israel, But Muslims Continue to Hijack His Name

By Debbie Schlussel

Peace for Israel means security, and we must stand with all our might to protect its right to exist, its territorial integrity. I see Israel as one of the great outposts of democracy in the world, and a marvelous example of what can be done, how desert land can be transformed into an oasis of brotherhood and democracy. Peace for Israel means security and that security must be a reality.

–Martin Luther King, Jr., March 25, 1968 speech.

He Had a Dream: That One Day Israel Would Be Secure & Jew-Haters Would Stop Attacking Israel . . .

Attn, Muslim Hijackers: Martin Luther King, Jr. Was Philo-Semite, Fan of Israel

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Every year on this day, I have to write this . . . because every year the Muslim phonies hijack the name of Martin Luther King, Jr.–who was PRO-ISRAEL–and try to make the civil rights struggle of Black people (many of whose ancestors were sold into slavery by Muslim Arabs) into the same thing as defending a violent religion that commits terrorist acts around the world every single hour. It’s amazing that a religion whose US-based “leaders” constantly claim that the 9/11 hijackers hijacked a religion (rather than what really happened–Islam hijacked them), is so consistent in its hijacking of things that stand counter to what Islam stands for. And, with Martin Luther King, Jr., they hijack the name and legacy of a man who stood with Israel and against them. They hijack his name for their own nefarious purposes of standing with HAMAS and Hezbollah. Read the rest of this entry »

They Said What?!: Observations from the Politically Correct Golden Globes PreGame Show

By Debbie Schlussel

If you are a married guy in America (or living with a girlfriend), your main TV is probably slavishly tuned right now to NBC’s “Golden Globes” awards show and red carpet pre-show.  I, myself was watching “60 Minutes” (more about that in another post), but switched to NBC during the commercials, and I saw some kinda funny uber-politically correct and not so politically correct stuff that begs to be written about here:

Awkward: Jeannie Mai Tells Melissa McCarthy About Her Abs & “Stunning” Dress

Awkward Politically Correct Golden Globes Moment #1:  Some Asian chick, named Jeannie Mai (who I understand is a make-up artist and contributor to NBC’s “Today” show), is a co-host of the Globes red carpet pre-game deal.  I mention her nationality only because I didn’t know who she was, never heard of her before, and her razor-thin slim Asian build is relevant to what happened.  I flipped to NBC and caught Mai interviewing the morbidly obese actress, Melissa McCarthy, wearing some sort of dark-colored sack with some beading.  McCarthy, shown with her husband and Mai, is larger than both Mai and hubby put together times two.  Mai tells her how beautiful she looks and how “everyone’s dying to know who you’re wearing.  That dress is stunning.”  Um, who is she kidding? No one is dying to know what she’s wearing, except to know how many acres of tarp it took to make the hideous jumbo tent.  And the dress ain’t stunning, unless the word “stunning” suddenly got a new meaning  . . . or today is “Opposite Day,” and I didn’t get the memo.  Please stop BS’ing us and the fat chick, who knows it’s BS, and so do we.  Political correctness is sometimes the best form of vomit-inducement.  And definitely the richest form of bull-dung. Not saying we should make the fat lady feel bad, but don’t pretend this tarp tent is “stunning.”  It ain’t.  No one is saying, “Gotta have that.”

Awkward Un-Politically Correct Golden Globes Moment #2:  Still on the petite Asian chick, Mai, interviewing the fat chick, McCarthy.  Mai (again, she’s your stereotypically razor-thin Asian chick) tells McCarthy (again, she’s like 300 pounds and it shows), “I have such great abs because of you.”  Uggghhh.  Awkward.  Somebody was born without an edit button. If you’re that thin and you know it, don’t rub it in to the morbidly obese fat lady, and don’t brag on TV to the rest of the world about your abs.  But, wait, it gets worse.  She explains why she has the “great abs”:  “I laughed so hard from watching ‘Bridesmaid’ that it gave me such great abs.”  Um, somebody at NBC needs to do a better job of casting red carpet show hosts.  Rude and insensitive. The insults are supposed to start after Ricky Gervais takes the stage.  Not before.  Again, don’t pretend that “fat is beautiful,” but don’t make the woman feel bad, either.  Geez.
