“Evil” IDF Promotes Palestinian Terrorist Cucumbers

By Debbie Schlussel

When was the last time you heard of a Muslim government promoting Israeli and/or Jewish products?  When halal pigs fly.  And even though some Israeli farmers grow cucumbers, the Israeli government and its “evil” Israeli Defense Forces, are promoting cucumbers grown by farmers in Jenin, the so-called West Bank’s incubator of HAMAS.  Yes, instead of promoting cucumbers from Israeli farmers (such as Gilad Desert Products), Israel and the IDF are promoting Palestinian terrorist cukes, and Israelis are importing 65% of their cucumbers from these Jenin Palestinian savages who openly support HAMAS and hate Jews.  It’s the equivalent of the American government promoting Al-Qaeda produce. I will never again eat a cucumber in Israel.  (The same thing goes on with Israeli flowers.  A lot of times flowers “grown in Israel” that you might buy in a local store are actually grown by Palestinians in the so-called West Bank.)

Israel Promotes Palestinian Terrorist Cukes from Jenin, HAMAS/Fatah Hotbed

You may remember Jenin from the siege there, after Israelis found bomb belt factor after bomb belt factory, Islamic terrorist after Islamic terrorist in Jenin.  The place is chock full of ’em.  During the siege, the many Islamic terrorism supporters and Jew-haters who live there, lied and claimed that Israeli soldiers murdered 500 people.  But even anti-Israel United Nations investigators concluded it was all a lie.  Fiction.  The less than 30 people who actually died in Jenin at the time  died of natural causes, unrelated causes, and some died at the hands of other Palestinians.

And, since we know that Palestinian Muslims have often plotted to poison Jewish Israelis’ food, it’s a security risk.  They could easily foment an outbreak of the kind of fatal bacterial virus that has recently plagued Germany.  But, no worries, Israel is still promoting these schmucks’ cucumbers.  From the IDF website:

60-65 percent of cucumbers consumed in Israel are grown in the Jenin area of the West Bank. Nearly 17,000 tons of cucumbers are harvested in Northern Samaria and delivered to Israel, providing economic sustenance for close to 3,000 families in Jenin.

The cucumbers are picked during the day and delivered to Israel in the evening. If you wait, explains cucumber grower Adnan Abu-Ali, the cucumbers lose weight during the night. A truck carrying 15,000 kilos of cucumbers would overnight become a truck carrying 14,500 kilos – representing a loss of 1,500 shekels. Read the rest of this entry »

Obama’s ICE: “Libyan Students in US Can Now Take American Jobs – Bend Over”

By Debbie Schlussel

Last week, I told you about the effort underway to give thousands of Libyan Muslim students asylum in the United States, including a green card and ultimately U.S. citizenship.  As I noted, we have no idea who these people are and no way to check.  We only know that they sought to come here and got a student visa allegedly to study at a college, university, or grad school.  We also know that they are all Muslim and that many of them hate us.  Well, now, the Obama Administration Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lifted all restrictions on these thousands of Libyan “students” and given them the green light to take American jobs.  Normally, student visa holders cannot hold a job or work for pay.  The reason for that is to make sure that they are here only to study and to keep them from taking jobs away from legal U.S. residents and citizens.  But, with a memo from ICE, those rules and restrictions have been discarded.  I guess we have too many jobs and not enough unemployment . . . in the eyes of the Obama-niks:

Thanks, Obama: Libyan Rebels & Qaddafi Both Happy as Libyan Aliens Now Allowed to Steal US Jobs ON US Soil

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced special relief for certain F-1 Libyan students who have suffered severe economic hardship as a direct result of the civil unrest in Libya since February 2011. This relief applies only to students who were lawfully present in the United States in F-1 status on Feb. 1, 2011, and enrolled in an institution that is certified by ICE’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program. Another Islamic, Er . . . ISRAELI Scientific Discovery: Cinammon Blocks Alzheimer’s – Biblically Inspired

By Debbie Schlussel

Yet again, the “evil” Jews in the tiny State of Israel, surrounded by Muslim nations that hate them, have made a significant scientific discovery that may ward off a debilitating disease.  Israeli scientists have discovered that cinnamon extract inhibits Alzheimer’s disease and appears to ward off the flu, too.  As I write this I’m drinking a nice hot cup of Harney & Sons Fine Teas Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea a/k/a “Sunset Spice Tea”(very cinnamony and naturally very sweet with no sugar or sugar substitutes).  And I hope my love for this tea pays off.  Looks like it might. Even more cool is that the discovery was based on the chief scientist’s participation as a kid in the National Bible Contest and questions about the paste the Kohanim [the Jewish Priests] used on the altar for sacrifices. It’s a great story of how the Jewish Bible inspired an important medical discovery.  Yup, an atheist would never have made this discovery:

Israeli Scientist Michael Ovadia Finds Alheimer’s Inhibitor in Cinnamon Extract

A cinnamon extract inhibits the development of Alzheimer’s disease (AD ), Tel Aviv University scientists have discovered.

The scientists, headed by Prof. Michael Ovadia of the zoology department in the life sciences faculty, have isolated a substance from the cinnamon plant, referred to as CEppt, which inhibited the disease in laboratory mice. Read the rest of this entry »

ABSURD: “Annie” Tryouts Feature Psychiatrists, “Self Esteem Counselors” – Far Cry From My ’70s Audition

By Debbie Schlussel

Today in New York City, auditions are being held for the Broadway revival of the musical, “Annie.” And several self esteem counselors and psychiatrists are on hand, along with politically correct self-help pamphlets for six-year-olds. A sad sign of what America’s become and a stark contrast to my own experience in the late ’70s, when I, myself, tried out for “Annie.”

Little Orphan Annie Gets Self-Esteem Counselors

When I was a young kid, I was a huge fan of “Annie.” My parents took me to see it at Detroit’s Fisher Theater a bunch of times, and I had an extensive collection of Annie memorabilia. But, it was a wholesome show with a cute dog and great, uplifting entertainment for a young kid to be interested in. I listened to the Annie soundtrack over and over, had the stuffed Annie doll, and slept on Annie bedsheets. For costume parties, I wore the curly, redheaded Annie wig and perfect red and white satin Annie dress that my skilled seamstress Holocaust survivor grandmother, Adele, made for me from scratch after looking at a photo.

So, when the Broadway touring company in Detroit held auditions for a new Annie and fellow orphans, I was extremely excited. I fit the age category and took tap and jazz dancing classes at Miss Barbara’s Dance Center (“Showgirls'” Elizabeth Berkley was in our class), knew all the songs, and I was ready. I incessantly begged my reluctant parents to let me try out.  They repeatedly warned me that, even if I beat incredible odds and made it, I probably wouldn’t be able to do it because of the Jewish Sabbath, and that it’s hard to remain a religious Jew or a stable young person of any religious or ethnic background, traveling around and acting on stage. I think I was eight or nine at the time, maybe ten and ever the bright-eyed, strong-willed optimist in response.  Eventually, they gave in . . . I think because they knew I wouldn’t make it, and it would be quick and painless instead of weeks of hearing me say, “woulda shoulda, coulda.” Read the rest of this entry »

Wknd Box Office: Super 8, Tree of Life, Midnight in Paris

By Debbie Schlussel

I did not see “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.”  Here are my reviews of the new movies which I did see and which debut today at theaters:

*  “Super 8“:  I absolutely loved the first half of this movie (and the kid actors in this, which is why I’m giving it a good rating).  It’s the second half–in which the U.S. Air Force are the evil bad guys who round up the population of a small town into a movie version of Gitmo–that was a mess and ridiculous.  I’ve grown tired of alien thrillers that suddenly turn into “America’s military is evil, oppresses extraterrestrial aliens, and causes them to hate us and attack and kill us.”  It was bad enough when they made this crap before 9/11.  But when they made it afterward–as symbolism and allegory of how we are supposedly to blame for Islamic terrorists hating us–it got absurd.  Come on, Hollywood, come up with a movie where it’s actually the aliens’ fault, not ours.

Several young boys in small town America are shooting a movie with a Super8 video camera.  It’s 1979, and the lead character is one of those boys, Joe Lamb, played by Joel Courtney.  His mother died, and his father–who is a deputy sheriff, wants him to give up his amateur movie hobby with his friends and go away to a summer camp for boys.  One night, the boy and his friends sneak out to the train station to film their movie, when they see a horrific train crash after their teacher has driven onto the tracks, head-on into the train.  It’s a spectacular scene, and probably the best use of special effects in the movie.  The camera is still rolling, while the crash happens.  They see their teacher, still alive in what remains of his truck, and he warns them to leave quickly and not to talk about what they saw. HILARIOUS Video: Angry Texter Ejected from Movie Theater; Debbie’s Movie Rules

By Debbie Schlussel

I’ve written many times before about my anger at people who go to the movies to talk on their cell phones, give endless John-Madden-style play-by-play-color-commentary-of-the-obvious what is on the screen, or text throughout the movie.  If you do this, you’re rude and should be permanently affixed with a tattoo on your forehead forever banning you from theaters and stealing someone else’s ten bucks and two hours they paid to enjoy the movie, NOT your behavior.  I’ve posted my rules for movie theater behavior, before (click on the above link or scroll down).  Bottom Line: If you cannot shut up, don’t go to the frickin’ movie. Sadly, our nation has turned into a bunch of rude morons who think it’s their living room.  I do not apologize for being a “movie nazi” and demanding silence and darkness. It’s called a theater, not “loud dumbass bitches’ house of skank.” That’s why I just LOOOOOVE this ad from Austin, Texas’ Alamo Drafthouse movie theater, featuring the angry voice-mail message from a real-life moron-ette who was kicked out of the theater for texting.  It’s Not Safe For Work (four-letter words), but simply hilarious. Perhaps the Drafthouse shouldn’t serve beer before movies, as that probably contributes. But I wish every movie theater did this . . . and published names and phone numbers. Remember the Alamo AND Don’t Mess with Texas. . .

Since it’s only gotten worse in the four years since I posted my DebbieSchlussel.com Movie Dos and Don’ts, I need to post them again: Read the rest of this entry »

SCHMUCK That Needs to Be Cut: Russell Crowe Attacks Jewish Circumcision – Hollywood “Tolerance”

By Debbie Schlussel

Mazel Tov! Mel Gibson now has a twin.

Hey, Anti-Semites AND NOCIRC Both Just Found a New Spokesmodel Schlub

I used to like Russell Crowe as an actor, despite his behavior as a “person,” including tirades at New York hotels, violently using telephones to attack poor working-class stiff hotel employees and engaging in other such acts of class and dignity.  But no more.  This barbarian, who physically beat a hotel clerk with a telephone receiver as a weapon just ‘cuz he felt like it, now has the chutzpah to attack Jews as barbaric for circumcising their male babies. His attack on Jewish circumcision is not about health or humanity.  It’s about Russell Crowe’s formerly latent anti-Semitism now rearing its uncircumcised, impotent head via his tweets on Twitter.

Circumcision is a covenant with G-d that the Jewish people have had for thousands of years, and it’s helped us survive and continue to exist as a people.  There is a special ceremony and blessings are made.  Clearly, it works.  It’s no coincidence that those without circumcisions are at far greater risk for AIDS and several cancers, including penile cancer.  It’s an interesting irony that Crowe’s male children will now be at higher risk for these maladies, while he concentrates on attacking the “evil” JOOOOOOOS. BTW, says a lot about the IQ of Crowe’s fans that they ask him, a total stranger, whether or not to circumcise their own children. Um, yeah, that’s who you ask about your child’s health, Dr. Russell M. Crowe, endowed with a medical degree from the University of Smack the Phone at Your Head “F-ck Science” Medical School. Only a moron would ask this proud high school grad for advice. In my book, that’s an automatic disqualifier from parenthood.

The Oscar-winning actor labelled the practice “barbaric and stupid” during a row with his Twitter followers, telling them to “f— off” if they disagreed with him.

The 47-year-old engaged in an angry exchange with one follower, whom he branded a “moron”, before imploring Jewish people to “stop cutting your babies”. Read the rest of this entry »

Impressed By Sarah Palin’s Jewish Star Necklace?

By Debbie Schlussel

Apparently, some people think I’m a monkey or Pavlov’s dog or something.  Even more apparent, a number of those people fit that definition, themselves.  Last week, many people–both gentile and Jew, but all of them fans of Sarah Palin–sent me a photo of yet another cheap, patronizing Palin publicity stunt.  The half-governor, reality show star, and Kris Kardashian Jenner of the Right, wore a Jewish Star/Star of David necklace, something she’s done before a few times.

All of the people sending this out and posting it all over Facebook and Twitter think this means something.  They are fools.  I really couldn’t care less what she wears around her neck.  I can’t speak for all American Jews, but I, myself, am not so simple that when someone gratuitously puts on some Jewish accessory, I gush and drool.  It’s simply irrelevant.  I care about what’s best for America (which includes support for Israel), not what accessories people wear, unless they are wearing crescent charms to show support for Islam. Then, I’ll have something to say.

And this isn’t for the Jews–who mostly don’t and wouldn’t support her. It’s designed to appeal to conservatives Christians/Evangelicals. Glad Sarah Palin is “pro-Israel” (though her support is questionable, given that she promoted, funded, and helped elect anti-Israel Rand Paul, and given that she is tight with the anti-Israel, pro-Hezbollah Jane Hershey Abraham of Susan B. Anthony List, from whom she took instructions on whom to endorse in the 2010 elections). But so were Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama (his was the most obviously fake, but he gave the lip service) . . . until they got elected. With Palin, it simply doesn’t make up for so many other shortcomings that are bad for America. And I’m not gonna support someone–especially for President–just because she’s wearing a Jewish Star.  If I did, then that means I’d have to be impressed with and support all of these people for President and fall for there sleazy symbolism designed to sucker me or my fellow co-religionists in, like when Bill Clinton promised that the White House would have its first kosher kitchen, if he was elected.  That was ridiculous, since the dude ain’t a Jew and doesn’t keep kosher, and there’s absolutely no reason we need a kosher kitchen in the White House.  It was stupid.  But it was designed to get dumb Jewish people suckered into the same kind of symbolism as Sarah Palin is engaging in.  Glad they like to symbolize they are “down with the struggle.”  But that’s all it is–symbolism.  Supporting Clinton or Sarah Palin for President merely because they make obvious but meaningless panders to Judaism would require that I also support the following people for President:

*  Hey, look what she’s wearing around her neck–same as Palin.  And, yet, unlike Palin, she’s not pimping out and glamorizing her kid’s single motherhood. . . Read the rest of this entry »

Prominent Muslim “American” Businesses Celebrate “Legacy” of Khomeini

By Debbie Schlussel

On Monday, I told you about the large group of “moderate,” “American” Muslims who celebrated, honored, and memorialized the late Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of Hezbollah and the man who sent his Iranian henchmen to take over the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and hold Americans hostage for 444 days.  I showed you the video on which these Muslims praised Khomeini for, among other things, “bringing America to its knees.”  Yup, as I’ve been saying repeatedly for more than a decade, this is how the so-called “moderate,” “loyal,” “American” Muslims really feel, and now they are feeling brave enough to say it openly–that they hate this country and praise those who would destroy it.  But this isn’t just in Washington, DC, at the Iranian Interests Section of the Pakistani Embassy, where the ceremony took place over the weekend.

In Dearbornistan, thousands of Shi’ite Muslims also celebrated Khomeini–the man bent on America’s destruction.  They had a huge banquet, prayer service, and even made their kids learn about the guy’s life and compete in a Khomeini quiz competition.  The event was called, “Khomeini:  A Legacy of Revolution, 22nd Anniversary of Demise.”  (By the way, part of that “Legacy of Revolution” was taking Americans hostage for more than a year.  Over the weekend, the DebbieSchlussel.com team in Dearbornistan found the posters for this event, above, posted prominently in a number of large, successful, Shi’ite Muslim-owned businesses in Dearbornistan.  Again, celebrating this founder of an Islamic terrorist group who took Americans hostage for more than a year–that’s the true ethos of “American” Muslims, who are really just Muslims who happen to be in America.  It’s a place on a map for them, not a place they love or with which they identify.  Note that this took place at a large, prominent mosque, the Islamic Institute of Knowledge

As I noted, we found these posters up at many successful Muslim businesses, including:

Golden Bakery:  This bakery has a nice, fancy website that makes it look like a nice gourmet cafe and bakery.  But it’s really a money-making, all-cash business for the Lebanese Shi’ite Muslim Hezbollah and Khomeini supporter owners, Hussein M. Hammoud and his brothers, who come from the Hezbollah stronghold of South Lebanon.  The Hammouds are a prominent Hezbollah family and some of them back in Lebanon are Hezbollah “martyrs.” Read the rest of this entry »

Not Sure About This Abortion Billboard

By Debbie Schlussel

One of the many hypocrisies in American family law is that if a woman wants to get an abortion, she has 100% control over that decision, even if she is married.  The father has no say.  Yet, if she decides to give birth, the father of the kid–who also has no say  in that decision–must pay child support.  I am pro-life, but I find this contradiction ridiculous.  That said, I’m unsure I like the billboard put up by New Mexico man, Greg Fultz, declaring his upset over his girlfriend’s abortion.  He doesn’t name her, so he’s really only shaming himself, and, to me, it’s just another annoying outgrowth of internet attempts by everyone to put their private lives and dirty laundry out there for the world.

I think the billboard is kind of low class, actually, and maybe he should have married her before fathering potential kids.  Plus, he’s not even sure if the baby was aborted or miscarried.  It’s a free country, and he can say or do whatever he wants.  I just don’t like it.  I don’t agree with a court ordering him to take it down on the grounds that it’s “harassment,” and I think he could successfully challenge that unconstitutional limitation of his First Amendment free speech rights in an appeal.  On the other hand, if the kid wasn’t aborted, then the woman has a possible defamation claim against him, though such a claim would be clouded by the fact that he doesn’t name a specific girlfriend.

A New Mexico man said today he will fight to keep up a controversial billboard that suggested his ex-girlfriend had an abortion.

The billboard has a photo of Greg Fultz holding the outline of a baby with a playground in the background. The large text beside the photo reads, “This Would Have Been a Picture Of My 2-Month Old Baby If The Mother Had Decided To NOT KILL Our Child!” Read the rest of this entry »
