****  SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE  ****

In just a few minutes, the insipid, plodding red carpet walk will begin for tonight’s Academy Awards.  The Oscars’ glorified sidewalk will be chock full of outrageously paid proud high school graduates (and some high school drop-outs).  And the expected, much prognosticated winner of the night is expected to be “The King’s Speech,” a move I chose as 2010’s best (check out my Top Ten Movies of 2010 list), and for which I voted in most categories as a voting member of the Detroit Film Critics Society.  But I’m having a little remorse, based on the comments of readers, others, and the information I’ve learned since then, doing my own research. And my remorse includes Colin Firth’s upcoming anti-Israel propaganda project. More on that later.

First, there’s what others–including many of  you, my friends and readers–pointed out.   The movie is the story of King George VI of England a/k/a “Bertie” and his relationship with a commoner speech therapist who helps the King overcome his stutter to deliver an important speech, rallying his country around the Allies and against the Nazis in World War II.

But the movie whitewashes this King George’s brother,  King Edward VIII–who abdicates the throne because of his marriage to divorcee and well-known slut Wallis Simpson–and his Nazi sympathies.  That’s an important historical point, far more important than the much pointed to liberties the movie takes vis-a-vis Kind George VI’s relationship with Winston Churchill.  In fact, there is no mention of Ms. Simpson’s sexual affair with German Ambassador to Britain, Joachim von Ribbentrop. The FBI reported that she was passing secret information obtained from her hubby to the Nazi government.

And now for another episode of “Your Day in Religion of Peace Peacefulness.” Yes, they’re Muslims.  As you’ll recall, last September, six Muslim men from North Africa, including Algeria plotted to kill the Pope in London, ironically during an “interfaith dialogue” meeting with Muslims about religious tolerance and respect.  Now, six Moroccan men in Rome, tried to incite hatred against the Pope, whatever that means.  Sounds like a sanitized way of describing Islamic terrorists who tried to kill him.  Yup, they’re neither Catholic nor Jewish nor Hindu nor Wiccan. Shocker. And this is after decades of the Vatican and the Pope, current Pope included, pandering to Muslims and attacking Israel. Uh-huh, sounds like that’s working. Not.

Italian police on Friday arrested six Moroccan men suspected of inciting hatred against Pope Benedict XVI for converting a Muslim journalist in Italy to Catholicism.

Utter, complete garbage at the movies, this weekend.  Neither of the new releases is worth your $10 or two hours of life you’ll have wasted.  Both movies are vulgar, vile, and disgusting, and you don’t need to be a prude to get that. This weekend, movie theaters across America are officially the nation of Dreck-istan.

*  “Hall Pass“:  Two words:  Joy Behar.  Anything that has her in it should be enough to keep you far, far away (even if she’s only in a few scenes).  I liked this better the first time I saw it . . .  when it was called, “Divorce American Style.”  The premise of this movie could have been interesting, if it didn’t devolve into a disgusting, raunchy piece of utter garbage, with few jokes worth laughing at.  Oh, and did I really need repeat close-up shots of two penises in my face on the screen?  The point of the Squirrely, er . . . Farrelly Brothers in doing this is to let you know that Black men have large penises and White Irish men have tiny ones.  Thanks for the tip, racists.

Yesterday, I showed you the video of Republican Congressman Allen West kicking the butt of a representative of the HAMAS financier, CAIR Action Network.  Today, CAIR Net is upset that the video is quite popular, so these CAIR Action Net frauds have sent out an e-mail claiming that West is now “on defense after ‘anti-Islam’ comments.”  The group links to this video news report.  Watch the video and tell me if it looks at all to you like he’s “on defense.”  In fact, he stands boldly and strongly by his comments about what Islam is all about. He’s on offense, which is something few American leaders are daring to be when it comes to our most sworn enemy: Islam.

As you watch this, remember that this is the favorite show of America’s younger generations.  It’s not only America’s future . . . but, even sadder, already our present.  Idiocracy is here and now.  Bin Laden needs to do no work to ruin America, because they’re doin’ it for him. With morons raised on this crap, al-Qaeda will have a cakewalk in the near future. You gotta watch the whole minute and 15 seconds for the pay-off, but it’s worth it.

Remember when President Bush first doubled, then quadrupled the number of Saudi-sponsored student visas to tens of thousands (over 30,000)? Even if only a small percentage are terrorists, that’s a small percentage on our shores, seeking our deaths.  Well, now, we continue to reap the “rewards” of his politically-correct pandering to Islam through immigration.  Yup, these student visas weren’t an Obama thing.  They’re a Bush thing.  As you’ve probably read by now, the feds unsealed a Federal Criminal Complaint against Saudi student visa holder, Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, 20, a citizen of Saudi Arabia and resident of Lubbock, Texas, who was arrested yesterday.  Aldawsari was seeking chemicals to make Weapons of Mass Destruction.  He sought to use WMD to murder Americans, American Soldiers, and President Bush . . . the very man who kissed Muslim butt to make it easier for Aldawsari to get into the U.S.  Read the affidavit of FBI Special Agent Michael N. Orndorff, attached to the Federal Criminal Complaint.

I’ve long cited the problem of these Saudi-sponsored student visas, which as I noted President Bush quadrupled in response to mostly-Saudi Muslims mass-murdering 3,000 Americans.  They murder thousands of us, we let more of ’em in.  See the logic?  I’ve written about Homaidan Al-Turki, a Saudi student, who tortured and raped his housekeeper in Denver.  Not reported in the news but relayed to me by reliable sources, Al-Turki was under investigation by FBI counterterrorism agents for terrorist recruiting and the spread of jihadist literature.  When he was finally convicted, the gutless then-Colorado Attorney General flew to Saudi Arabia to apologize for the conviction.  I’ve also written about Saudi-sponsored student-visa holders, Mana Saleh Almanajam and Shaker Mohsen Alsidran, who did a dry run for a terrorist attack against children in South Florida, boarding a Tampa school bus in trenchcoats in 90-plus degree weather.

And I’ve written about the eleven Saudi-sponsored student visa-holders from Egypt who disappeared and some of whom were found at a Baltimore pizza shop associated with a plot to blow up a tunnel.  When they were finally tried in Immigration Court, the bond hearing was closed to the public because the feds–particularly the FBI joint terrorism task force members involved in investigating and locating them–needed the hearing sealed for national security reasons.  When I wrote about this, ICE officials told me privately that I was on the money.  That’s not to mention the Times Square Bomber Faisal Shahzad and a Pakistan-based associate of his who was plotting to poison U.S. officials’ food, both Saudi-sponsored student visa holders.  And then there’s the Saudi-sponsored student visa-holder who tried to sneak a knife on a plane.

Over the last couple of days, many readers and friends sent me this video, which is a MUST WATCH. The person questioning (and getting a “shellacking” from)  U.S. veteran and Florida Congressman Allen West is from the HAMAS financier, CAIR Action Network.  I’ve seen no Republican–running for President or not–who approaches West’s courage, guts, wisdom, intelligence, wit, and service to the country.  He gets it. I’d vote for him for Prez in a heartbeat.  One other thing:  the Koran not only says plenty about killing “infidels,” as West points out, but also the Hadith (considered the word of Mohammed and as binding as the Koran).  And that’s not to mention the many sermons, textbooks, etc.

Detroit policewoman Wedad Elhage is in trouble for stalking her ex-lover.  Regardless, I’m sure the very existence of Elhage makes the Muslims of Dearbornistan and the surrounding Dar Al-Harb very angry.  She’s twice an apostate.  Not only did the Beirut-born immigrant dump Islam and convert to Christianity, but she’s also a lesbian.  Back in the “civilized” Mid-East, they’d probably be busy right now, trying to figure out how to behead someone twice.  But I wouldn’t be surprised if, regardless of no longer being a Muslim, she still hates Jews and Israel.  Still, it’s a two-fer in driving Muslims nuts. . . or was, until the stalking part (and the illegal accessing of police records).

On the other hand, there’s the Muslim point of view: once a Muslim, always a Muslim. And this kinda stalking and harassment thing is hardly foreign to Muslims, especially those who brought their Third World, Mid-East “values” with them. Check out the details of the story. Perhaps the title of this entry shouldn’t be “Pimp My Ride,” but “Pimp You Out for My Ride.”  That’s exactly what City Councilmen of the People’s Republic of Washington, DC are doing.  I guess poverty in Notheast and Southeast DC has already been cured.  And Washington needs to get rid of the extra money somehow . . . like on some pimped out, fully loaded luxury SUVs.

Is Washington, DC’s City Council running the District of Columbia .  .  . or is it stocking up for a hip-hop video shoot?  Hard to tell. But what is very easy to tell is that, ultimately, American taxpayers–who subsidize Washington, DC big-time–are the ones actually footing the bill. You really have to read this to believe the utter chutzpah of Washington City Councilman Kwame Brown.  And you have to ask yourself why the poor of Washington, DC are not rioting and demonstrating over this the way liberals in Wisconsin and elsewhere are rioting against Governors who want to balance budgets?

Taxpayers in the District of Columbia, which faces a budget shortfall of $400 million, have paid to lease two deluxe Lincoln Navigators for the head of the City Council at a cost of about $3800 a month.

After getting elected chairman of the D.C. City Council in November, Kwame Brown asked for a black Lincoln Navigator L, with a DVD player for the back seat, a power moonroof, polished aluminum wheels and an all-black interior.
