Question: Will Obama Require U.S. To Lose To Iran?

By Debbie Schlussel
So, is this the contemporary rematch of the 1980 Olympic hockey game between the U.S. and the Soviet Union? Not even close.
Apparently, the Muzzie and Commie simps at the U.S. Soccer Federation are planning an October or November soccer “exhibition” between the U.S. and Iranian soccer teams. America asked Iran for the match, NOT the other way around.
And don’t be naive. This didn’t just happen all of the sudden by accident. This wasn’t solely the idea of the U.S. soccer people. This was likely done at the suggestion of the Obama White House which is hot to trot with the Ahmadinejadian folks who would destroy us and Israel.
So far, the U.S. has allowed Iran to announce this little get together, with Ali Kafashian of Iran’s soccer federation revealing the plans to Iran’s Fars news agency, yesterday. And soon, the U.S. may even allow Iran to beat us.

obamasmiling.jpgiranussoccer.jpg

ahmadinejadsmile.jpg
Watch closely if and when this soccer “exhibition” happens. Only one side can win, and it would be extremely embarrassing to the Iranians if they were beaten by the Great Satan America, run by the Evil Zionist Empire. And Barack Obama, his foreign policy chick Hillary, and the pan-Islamic State Department know this.
You think they’re gonna let America beat Iran when they’re trying to suck up to, er . . . “dialogue” with this country?
Don’t be surprised if America surprisingly loses to Iran, if and when this thing happens. I wouldn’t be shocked if the result of the meeting is already, um, “pre-determined.”
Great, America is playing soccer with a country that wants to annihilate the Jews and says the Holocaust didn’t happen, sponsoring cartoon contests over it.
Oh, and as I’ve always said, soccer is the exclusive property of countries that hate us and support terrorism (and like Michael Jackson).

Sotomayor: The Illegal Alien, Anti-Male, Anti-White Vote on the Court; Plus, “View” Airhead “Conservative” Praises Choice

By Debbie Schlussel
Here’s what we know:
Barack Obama, today, nominated an anti-male, anti-White woman who will be the voice of illegal aliens, to the Supreme Court. Yup, let’s hear it for the reconquista Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor. She said she believes that the bench is “where policy is made” and just you wait until reconquista, pro-illegal alien policy is made from the Supreme Court bench. She’ll do it.
Sonia Sotomayor . . .

soniasotomayor.jpg
The Choice of Illegal Aliens & Elisabeth Hasselbeck . . .

illegalalienssmaller2.jpgelisabethhasselbeck.jpg
Today, on ABC’s anti-male hag-fest, faux-conservative and eternal airhead bimbo Elisabeth Hasselbeck heartily applauded this absurd affirmative action choice, saying “This is great because Hispanics are the most important group of people in America.” They are? I thought–and particularly conservatives, which brainless Hasselbeck pretends to be, think–that America is a land of individuals, that no one group of people is “more important” than anyone else. Hasselbeck also stated that “women don’t have enough opportunity.” Huh? This woman, Sotomayor, was picked for only two reasons, one of which is that she has female indoor plumbing.
Sickening, but par for the course for this nauseating TV bim, who disclosed the name of a Federal Air Marshal on national TV. (But don’t worry. Tomorrow, when she gets the GOP talking points from her fellow airhead, Sean Vannity, she’ll change her tune and, per usual, pretend she knew what she was talking about in the first place.)
Here’s what we don’t know:
How many Republicans will have the cojones to call Sotomayor to the carpet for her anti-male, anti-White statements? I’m guessing very few, judging by her track record. So far, these wimps on the GOP side of the aisle are staying wimpishly silent and withholding comment. A bunch of girlie-men. Regardless, even if all of them vote against her, she’ll still be confirmed.
Thanks, America, for voting in this President who practices gender, racial, and ethnic politics and, frankly, discrimination, like nobody’s bidness.
Oh, and one more thing: Stop telling me she’s the first Hispanic nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court. Ever hear of a dude named Benjamin Cardozo? What–because he was a Jew, he doesn’t count?

On Memorial Day 2009

By Debbie Schlussel
**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****
Often repeated but true and still as poignant, today we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could remain free. They died in the line of duty or soon thereafter from the injuries. They are what today is all about. It is somber, not celebratory. That all but their memories are lost we mourn, their contributions and service to our country we remember.

U.S. Army Sgt. Chris Moore @ the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

(Photo by H. Darr Beiser/USA Today)
A very poignant piece by Captain James Key, a U.S. Army chaplain whose great work I admire and whose moving writing I’ve quoted many times on this site (including here and here), appeared in Friday’s USA Today. Key, who served in Iraq, is now stationed at Arlington National Cemetery. (Since my last name is “Key” in Yiddish (and German), he and I have joked that we are like family.) Here’s part of his excellent, very touching piece:

Over the past few months, I’ve been stationed at Arlington National Cemetery, one of our nation’s most sacred shrines and a testament to the sacrifices made by fellow Americans to uphold our country’s democratic ideals and personal freedoms. . . .
Each day, as I walk among the headstones lining these rolling hills, I’m mindful that more than 300,000 veterans and their dependents are buried here. From Pierre L’Enfant, who served as George Washington’s aide during the American Revolution, to casualties from the war on terrorism, the veterans buried at Arlington represent every war in which the U.S. has fought.
Initially, I thought this assignment would be an emotional drain on my soul. Instead, this experience has already left an indelible mark on my life. I’ve conducted more than 100 services here, ministering to a diverse cross section of America.

jameskeyarmychaplain.jpg

Capt. James Key, U.S. Army Chaplain

While prominent military and civilian figures are buried here, the majority of the services I’ve conducted have been for ordinary people. Their faces are unknown to most Americans, and their stories have not been documented in history books or on the evening news. Nevertheless, their sacrifice must not go unnoticed. They served their country with honor and dignity. Those of us who wear a military uniform stand tall and proud because of those who came before us.
This Memorial Day, many families of these servicemembers will visit Arlington and observe this day as it was meant to be observed – with solemnity and with honor. . . .
I’ve seen a grieving family smile when I’ve reminded them at the end of a service that old soldiers never die. They just fade away to a better place where every day is Sunday, and the Sabbath hath no end. . . . I’m blessed to have the opportunity to give some solace to the families whose loved ones we honor this day.

duanedreaskyarlington.jpg

Natl Guard Staff Sgt. Duane Dreasky is Buried in Arlington Natl. Cemetery
Today we remember great Americans, like Michigan National Guardsman Sgt. Duane Dreasky (my posts about him here, here here, here, here, and here), who volunteered to go to Iraq, even though–after a year serving at Guantanamo Bay–he was assigned to stay here in comfort as a recruiter. He died in2007, after a valiant 8-month fight to survive wounds from a terrorist attack near Habbaniyah, Iraq. The heroic Dreasky suffered burns over 75% of his body, but still tried to salute President Bush when he visited his bedside.
Sometimes they are physically below us and we may not know it, but I believe that those who died for our country are, in spirit and soul, always smiling and looking down upon us from above, because they did the ultimate good deed.

Graves of American Soldiers Who Died @ Normandy in WWII

(Note: No Crescents Anywhere)
**** UPDATE: My friend, the great Ruth S. King writes:

Two Jewish brothers, Henry (Heshy) King, age 20 and George King 24 both died in the Normandy invasion. Heshy never made it off the beach, and George was killed in combat in France.
Heshy had an operation so that he could serve and George volunteered for combat because he did not like being a military police and roughing up kids who got drunk.
The were my husband’s brothers. I have their pictures forever young.
President Roosevelt sent a message to the families of the fallen….It said, “He stands in a long line of patriots who died so that freedom might live, and through him, freedom lives in a way that humbles the undertakings of most men.”
Obama would apologize to the enemies as well as the Gold Star mothers and wives and sweethearts and siblings and children who lost their loved ones.

So true.

PBS’ Twice A Year Patriotism Fraud: The Memorial Day Concert w/ Gary Sinise

By Debbie Schlussel
Every year, for Memorial Day and Independence Day, Public Broadcasting Service a/k/a Palestinian Broadcasting Service, hosts specials that are replete with pro-American patriotism. This Memorial Day Weekend is no exception with tonight’s program on PBS, “National Memorial Day Concert,” hosted by actor Gary Sinise, who has hosted the show in recent years. The 20th anniversary of the concert airs tonight, live at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
But, while the program is extremely moving (and I’ve enjoyed watching it), it’s a fraud. It’s a fraud because on the 363 other days of the year (the other instance of patriotism is an Independence Day/Fourth of July fireworks special), PBS is a cavalcade of anti-American crap.

pbs4.jpg

On your average night of PBS programming, you can watch Frontline specials about how Islamic terrorists from Buffalo (the Lackawanna Six) aren’t really terrorists. PBS told us they were just nice Islamic guys who were pressured into pleading guilty. Or you can see an “Independent Lens” show featuring Palestinian American Muslim activist Hatem Abudayyeh telling his soon-to-be Palestinian bride’s family how bad America is. Or you can watch an anti-Israel special or a special on what animals and barbarians our troops are. You know, the same troops whose sacrificed lives the tax-funded network pretends to care about tonight.
About the only PBS program that isn’t political is the network’s most popular, “Antiques Roadshow,” but don’t worry, where there’s a will, there’s a way. And the network has the will to somehow make that political (in a left-wing way), too.
PBS uses these two nights–the Sunday preceding Memorial Day and the Fourth of July–to continue to pressure the Congress to fund its 363-night-a-year far-left pap. Yes, your tax dollars continue to fund PBS’ anti-American, anti-war propaganda, and that’s–in my mind–one of the biggest failings of Newt Gingrich’s leadership of the Congress in the mid-’90s, i.e., that he failed to keep his promise to defund PBS.
And by hosting tonight’s Memorial Day concert, Gary Sinise is lending his sanction to that crap. While he’s done wonderful work standing up for our troops and his Lt. Dan charity has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to those wounded in battle, he is lending his name, his presence, and his active participation in the anti-American, anti-troops sentiment the network broadcasts on a regular basis. He owes it to those troops to speak out against PBS’ anti-American BS, but he has yet to do so.
Let’s face it, tonight’s programming on PBS memorializing our troops–while touching–is not meant for the regular PBS audience of 68-year-old cat ladies named for Eleanor Roosevelt, who voted for Obama.
It’s meant to put pretty lipstick on what all other nights is a very ugly pig. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. This broken network is only right twice a year.
PBS doesn’t give a damn about the soldiers who gave their lives so that PBS could continue to spew forth its hatred of America. The network and its execs only care about ratings from you, the Americans who really love America. If you choose to watch tonight, don’t forget that this isn’t the real PBS.
For them–those that run PBS–tonight is just Pure Bull Sh-t. Remember our fallen troops, but remember that, too.

Muslims in New York Synagogue/U.S. Plane Plot had Imam Who is Prison Chaplain

By Debbie Schlussel
As I noted yesterday and many times in the past, the four Muslims caught trying to blow up New York synagogues and U.S. planes converted to Islam in prison, where the Muslim chaplaincy is controlled by CAIR, ISNA, and an alphabet soup of extremists and jihadists.
Today, Bill Warner points out that the men met at Masjid Al-Ikhlas, a Newburgh, New York mosque, whose imam is Salahuddin Muhammad, a New York prison chaplain. Hello . . .?
Yet, authorities refuse to do anything to this guy. And they continue to refuse to overhaul the Muslim prison chaplain system and who controls it. Instead, we continue to hear that these men were “not tied to any terrorist group” or that they were “lone crazy men.” Uh, sorry, no, they were Muslims. That’s the one thing that ties them and so many others who try to foment these kinds of attacks. And they converted to Islam in prison.

salahuddinmuhammad.jpg

Salahuddin Muhammad:

Imam of the Muslim Synagogue Plotters & New York Prison Chaplain
As I noted many times in the past, the Muslim chaplains in prison were controlled for a number of years by the International Institute of Islamic Thought, which was involved in money laundering for Al-Qaeda and was raided by U.S. Customs Service agents in 2002. The organization had a federal contract to provide chaplains to the federal Bureau of Prisons.
With this kind of thing continuing to go on for years and years post-9/11, it is a miracle there haven’t been more plots like this. And there will be others we won’t be able to thwart in time.
America . . . Desperate But Not Serious.

The Palins’ Phony “Pro-Abstinence” Message: Be a Baby Mama, Get on the Cover of People (& a Tacky 8-Page Spread)

By Debbie Schlussel
I gotta hand it to the phony Palin family. First, they tell us how they’re against teen sex and that their pregnant 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, is gonna marry the baby daddy, Levi Johnston. After the McCain-Palin ticket gets trounced, that BS blows up. Then, Bristol Palin tells FOX News that promoting abstinence doesn’t work. And three months later, this physical and ideological ho turns on a dime, becoming a paid “abstinence ambassador” for the far-left Candies Foundation.
“Abstinence Ambassador”: Screw as I Say, Not as I Do . . . All the Way to the People Cover

bristolpalinpeople.jpg

bristolpalinpeople2.jpg
And she has a heck of a way of promoting abstinence and decrying single motherhood. Look at me, I’m on the cover of People because I’m a baby mama (and got paid gazillions to do it). But don’t you try this as home. Because if you do, you might get an 8-page gushing spread and oodles of fame. Yeah, that’s the message to give teen girls obsessed with fame, who’ll do anything to get it. And Ma (Sarah Palin) and Pa Palin are also posing aplenty in this 8-page advertisement for, “Look how cool it is have a kid out of wedlock.” Oh, and to all those blind Palinmessiah worshippers who claimed I was lying when I said the Palins were negotiating with People magazine to sell them exclusive photos, your apology is NOT accepted. If Levi Palin Johnston were smart (and he’s even less so than the Palins, based on what we’ve seen), he’d get a lawyer pronto, sue for custody and for child support from those hundreds of thousands of dollars Bristol collected for this very tacky People spread.
Bristol Palin is on the cover for one reason: the “feat” of having teen sex and becoming a baby mama. And that’s hardly an achievement to celebrate of glamorize on the cover of a celeb magazine and and an eight-page spread of glamor shots. If it were, why aren’t Shaniqua and Lakisha from the ghetto on the cover? They’ve “achieved” just like Bristol Palin. But they don’t have blind conservatives doing a 180 on them and gushing over it.
As I’ve already noted recently on this site, 40% of American kids are now born to single mothers, and it’s getting worse. And America is #1 in the percentage of babies born to single mothers without a stable relationship with a man. Bristol Palin, whose baby is among that 40%, is NOT part of the solution. She is part of the problem. And parading and glorifying it on the cover of a magazine only makes it worse.
Remember the good old days when conservatives (like Dan Quayle) didn’t promote single motherhood?
Wake up. The Palins are phonies. At least the single mothers in Hollywood are honest about what they believe in and promote.

Weekend Box Office: “Night @ Museum” Sequel Fun Family Entertainment, But Long, Repetitive

By Debbie Schlussel
I’ve already posted my review of “Terminator Salvation.” I can’t post a review of “Dance Flick,” because I did not see the whole movie. I walked out. Read between the lines.
And then, there’s “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian,” the sequel to the first “Night at the Museum.” Although the movie is a little long, repetitive, and rambunctious, I liked it, if not quite as much as the far superior original. Only the special effects are better than the original. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t good or worthwhile.
On the contrary, the movie is charming and great for families with kids. It was cute and will give parents an opportunity to teach them about some of the characters that come to life in the movie, including Abraham Lincoln, General George Custer, and Einstein. Anything that can get your kids interested in historical figures is something I applaud. Didn’t have any use, though, for “The Thinker” coming to life as a complete idiot who sounded like a “valley dude” surfer type. But other parts of it were very funny.

nightatthemuseum2.jpg
Ben Stiller is back as the man who was the night guard at the museum, the exhibits of which came to life at night. But now he’s a successful TV gadget infomercial entrepreneur a la Ron Popeil. He returns to his old haunt, New York’s Museum of Natural History, and learns that the exhibits are being packed up and shipped off to storage in the federal archive at the Smithsonian. That means the end of coming to life at night. That’s sad enough.
And then, Stiller learns of an even more wicked plot. An effeminate, evil Egyptian Pharaoh, Kahmunrah–the older brother of Ahkmenrah–plots to take the golden tablet and bring all of the evil forces in history to life and take over the world, along with Napoleon, Ivan the Terrible, and some others.
So Stiller travels to Washington and finds himself in the basement of the Smithsonian museums in a giant archive. He teams up with General Custer, Einstein, and Amelia Earhart to battle the evil prince and his forces and save the world . . . or at least the world of historical exhibits. Many of the characters from the first installment are back for the sequel, including Robin Williams’ Teddy Roosevelt and Owen Wilson’s cowboy Jedediah Smith.
Some of the sequences are repetitive and silly, and that gets tiresome. But others are very cool, such as when Stiller and some of the other characters walk into the famous picture of the soldier kissing a woman on the street at the end of World War II. Ditto for the black and white mobsters–including Al Capone–who come to life in black and white and team up with the evil forces. Also cool: seeing Honest Abe come to life and leave his perch at the Lincoln Memorial to give Stiller some battle advice.
Overall, this is an ideal family and kids’ movie. Fun, great effects, lots of cool characters, and many historical figures about whom your kids can learn something after the movie is over.

Can’t Wait for This: New Animated ABC Mike Judge Series Mocks Liberal Enviro-Crazies

By Debbie Schlussel
Yeah, you’re probably thinking about the long holiday weekend and don’t want to focus on next week.
But I recommend you keep your calendar open for Wednesday Night, when at 9:00 p.m., ABC debuts “The Goode Family.” It’s an animated TV series directed by the genius behind the great, must-see “Idiocracy,” Mike Judge, and it sounds hilarious. If you’re like me and sick of the eco-hypocrites and enviro-crazies, this is for you, complete with a vegan dog and an adopted kid from South Africa (who they’re upset turned out to be White).

Director Mike Judge’s new animated television series “The Goode Family” is a send-up of a clan of environmentalists who live by the words “What would Al Gore do?” Gerald and Helen Goode want nothing more than to minimize their carbon footprint. They feed their dog, Che, only veggies (much to the pet‚Äôs dismay) and Mr. Goode dutifully separates sheets of toilet paper when his wife accidentally buys two-ply. And, of course, the family drives a hybrid.

goodefamily.jpg

On Wednesday at 9 p.m., “The Goode Family” will have its premiere on ABC and become the first animated series on the network’s prime-time lineup since 1995. . . .
“Goode” lampoons a liberal Midwestern household. In “Goode,” the characters are often mocked for being green just to fit in with their friends and neighbors. They are a perfect target for the 46-year-old Mr. Judge and his two longtime co-writers, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, who have made careers out of finding humor in the follies and pretensions of everyday people. . . .
“The Goode Family” came from an idea that Mr. Altschuler had while on vacation. Mr. Altschuler’s wife observed how difficult it was to “be good”‚Äîi.e., environmentally responsible. That became the central premise for the Goode Family. Mr. Judge, who says he was inspired by the mellow tones of National Public Radio hosts, provides the voice of the bicycle-riding college administrator Mr. Goode.

Can’t wait for this. So in the meantime, here’s a clip of the guys hilariously describing the Goode’s. It’s a must watch:

Puh-leeze: Gay-Esque Dude Didn’t Lose “American Idol” b/c He’s Gay-Esque

By Debbie Schlussel
For the record, no, I do not watch that karaoke TV money machine otherwise known as “American Idol.” It’s a boring show complete with annoying profiles of people we’ll never ever see or hear from again and vapid, droning opinions by several judges, plus Simon. Yes, the only realist–Simon–was once worth watching, but even that is old and predictable. I watched the show the first season, when it debuted as summer filler, and frankly, that’s where it should have remained. It’s not any better than that. Once it became popular, it was no longer cool, just empty and trendy. Stick a fork in it. It’s done.
That said, the big controversy of the day over that show is ridiculous. I refer to the whining that Adam Lambert–the favorite to win the show–lost because he’s gay-esque and America is prejudiced against gays. I have to say “gay-esque” because even though he’s part of the Three Muthketeerth with George Michael and Elton John (and their guardian angels Liberace and Paul Lynde), we’re not allowed to admit we know he’s gay because he hasn’t come out officially (despite a gazillion photos of clearly gay activity).

adamlambertamericanidol.jpg

Adam Lambert Lost to Underdog Kris Allen on “American Idol”

Yes, the flamboyant, effeminate, eye-liner and shimmer wearing Lambert was by far the superior singer to Kris Allen, the next nobody-to-not-become-a-somebody who won “American Idol.” There is no comparison in the quality and range of singing voices.
But the reason Lambert didn’t win is not because he’s a girly-man. That is just so much manufactured fiction. “American Idol” voters–the kind of voter you want far away from your ballot box in real American elections–are a gay-friendly type of crowd. They tend to be younger and have been raised to appreciate the value of lavender and pink, RuPaul videos, and two guys doing the tango at their wedding.
Lambert lost because for weeks–even if, like me, you couldn’t care less about the show–you couldn’t avoid media declarations and the pronouncements of all the annoying AI judges that Lambert is the winner. He was already anointed.
And, as much as we are so often sheep, Americans don’t like being told what to do (unless the person doing it is a biracial guy from Chicago and Hawaii by way of Kenya). They don’t like to go with conventional wisdom and coronations. They like to rebel against that.
And they rebelled against being told this guy–fruity pebble or not–was already their king and they should bow down. And Americans like underdogs, like Allen.
That’s why the guy–Lambert–lost. Not because America rejects gays. If you’re a good singer, we really don’t care what you do behind closed doors and with whom you do it. And we don’t wanna know (although with Lambert, it’s kinda in your face).
Now if Adam Lambert was on “Arab Idol,” well, then that would be a different story. And he’d be dead . . . or someone’s pet camel replacement of the week.
