So, Big Brother Walks into a Wisconsin Bar . . .

By
Unfortunately, it’s no joke when Big Brother visits a Wisconsin Bar.
On Monday, we’ll be remembering the soldiers who’ve given their lives for our freedoms. But in silly, piddling ways, our legislatures and other authorities are taking those freedoms away.
Take Ray Wendt, American Legion bar owner in Port Washington, Wisconsin. He’s been fined $172 for committing a crime. And you’ll never guess what the “crime” is. It’s not for serving underage drinkers or being open after state-regulated hours for serving alchohol.
Nope. Ray Wendt’s “crime” is that he used Miller Lite tap on a Coors Light keg.

Big Brother Visited–and Ticketed–Ray Wendt’s Bar

Wendt doesn’t sell Coors Light on tap, but it was left over from a wedding. He tried putting the Coors Light handle on the tap but it wouldn’t fit so instead he told his customers what they were drinking.
And that, my friends, is the newest in crime in Wisconsin (and probably other states, where beer companies and distributors have coached legislators to make this law).
Remember, Big Brother enters your life–and your bar–in the strangest–and most stupid–ways. No way the state should dictate such minutiae to a bar owner trying to run his business. Big government is everywhere.
More from Milwaukee’s WTMJ:

“Yeah I was ticked off when I got this [ticket]. $172,” Wendt said. . . .
“What difference what kind of handle’s on it as long as the product is known to the consumer,” customer Thomas Mikorski said.
‘Were you telling your customers they were drinking Coors?” TODAY’S TMJ4 reporter Melissa McCrady asked. “That’s right. They knew they were drinking Coors,” Wendt replied.
Port Washington police are following the rules. They fined Wendt during a routine inspection for “beer tap dispensing different beer than indicated.” . . .
Wendt has fixed the problem. He’s considering fighting the ticket.

Our soldiers fight–and give their lives–for our freedoms, over there. Yet, over here, we’re giving out tickets regarding what particular beer comes out of which tap.

Taliban Collegian: Do We Need More Alien Students Like Syed Maaz Shah?

By
Another thing the illegal alien amnesty bill doesn’t do is reduce the number of foreign student aliens on student visas. Instead, that’s been expanded. But, as we know, many of the illegal aliens “lost” in the Great American Abyss are student visa violators and overstayers.
Student Visa Violators like Syed Maaz Shah, a Paki engineering student at the University of Texas at Dallas–a supporter of the Taliban terrorists, who was here on an expired student visa. Yesterday, Shah was convicted in Houston of federal firearms charges connected to paramilitary training that prepared Muslim men to fight U.S. troops overseas. He and other Muslim students here on student visas all participated in this plan to train to kill us while they’re here courtesy of our ludicrous, extreme hospitality.

Student Visas:

There’s No True Immigration Reform Without Better Tracking of These

Shah illegally fired an assult rifle during two “camping trips,” last year. These “camping trips”–translation necessary for ignoramuses, like radio talk show host Frank Beckmann and his producers–were really terrorist training camps . . . on U.S. soil–though, in this case, they were set up by federal informants.
Undercover officer Malik Mohamed (soon to need protective custody from his angry fellow co-religionists) testified that Shah, 19, expressed interest in taking part in jihad.
Oh, and by the way, the feds discovered Mr. Shah, when the FBI was investigating activity on property owned by the Islamic Society of Greater Houston in Willis, which is just north of Houston. He was Executive Secretary of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at the University of Texas-Dallas. Dallas’ CBS 11 found online messages left by Shah supporting the 9/11 attacks and praising Nazi Germany. (Watch the video.)
Check out his “motime” page.
From the Houston Chronicle:

After participating in firearms training staged by government informants last year at a campground north of Conroe, Shah was charged in a plot to fight for the terrorist organization overseas against U.S.-led forces. On secret recordings, he can be heard railing against the U.S. and quipping that his passport showed the face of a terrorist.
As a student-visa holder, the Pakistani, who attended the University of Texas at Dallas on a scholarship, was not allowed to have a firearm. . . .
Three Muslim students from Houston connected to the case remain in federal custody. Shiraz Syed Qazi, 26, was sentenced last week to 10 months in prison for unlawful possession of a firearm.
His cousin, Adnan Mirza, faces three firearms charges, in addition to a charge of conspiracy to defraud the United States by making donations to the Taliban. The 30-year-old Pakistani, who also was here on a student visa, is scheduled for trial in October.
Kobie Williams, 34, who pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge last year, is to be sentenced in October.

Question: Who paid for Shah’s scholarship? Was it Texas and American taxpayers? Very likely.
Shah faces up to 20 years in prison and will be sentenced Sept. 14th. Will he face tough Texas justice? Or liberal O.J.-style leniency?
Let’s hope he gets the max. And hope that immigration authorities deport him when he gets out, instead of freeing him back into the Great American Abyss.
Don’t forget, we can’t address the burgeoning illegal alien problem, until we get a handle on the student visa program and severely shrink it. There are many more Syed Maaz Shah’s whom we’ve lost track of and will never find, while they plot and train to kill Americans.
Unfortunately, under Bush and his friend, Saudi King Abdullah, the student visa program is only expanding.

ICE Princess Pressures Agents to Rush Illegal Alien Processing, Mass Agent Exodus; Bush to Rewards Her with Judgeship?!

By
chieftess of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is the poster child for why this new illegal alien amnesty legislation won’t work, why it will be a complete disaster.
Sources within ICE say that, recently, she personally phoned an ICE Senior Special Agent (known as a Group Supervisor) in Kansas City and berated him that his agents were “taking too long” to process illegal aliens who had kids (ie., anchor babies) waiting. The ICE agent–like many others dismayed, horrified, and demoralized with what has happened to their agency–retired.
Just curious: Is this immigration enforcement we’re running . . . or the Indianapolis 500? Julie Myers, you’re no Danica Patrick. And why would she care that illegal aliens have kids waiting (if the illegals are going to be locked up and deported). . . unless she’s continuing with the useless “catch-and-release” policy (whence they will be sent on their way with a “Notice to (Dis)Appear”)? And she is.

The ICE Princess:

Whit [euphemism] Rises to the Top, Gets Golden Ticket in Bush Administration

(Julie Myers Diet Coke by David Lunde)

Think this kind of behavior will change under illegal alien amnesty? Think agents won’t be pressured to rush through checking whether Temporary Workers are legit? Dream on. It will be the same old, same old–except with more illegals in our midst. Yup, it’ll be worse.
The story jibes with other stories we’ve verified about the ICE Princess. In January, she they caught . . . without even verifying the aliens’ identities and, therefore, their accurate criminal histories.
And we’ve heard from oodles of agents who’ve written her to complain about supervisors, memos, etc. In each case, she’s so desperate to find allies and to control things, a la Jimmy Carter and the White House tennis court schedule, that she’s ignored and disrespected the chain of command at her agency and personally contacted each agent.
Meanwhile, we’ve also heard that an entire group of ICE agents in Arizona, including their Group Supervisor, quit ICE. Several jumped ship to Customs and Border Protection Internal Affairs (where senior officers are also leaving left and right). As I’ve noted, if there was a vote, ICE agents would vote, “no confidence,” in The ICE Princess.
Unfortunately, it appears President Bush continues to reward her incompetence and her insistence that agents not follow the law and procedures regarding apprehension and processing of illegal aliens.
Rumors are swirling that she will attempt to remain on the public dole forever, with a reported Bush federal judgeship nomination for the U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Missouri, where her husband is now the U.S. Attorney (a job that was made available to him by the Gonzales firing of his predecessor). Reportedly, there are two openings on the federal bench, one of which has been promised to The ICE Princess.
Even if she were nominated and–G-d forbid!–confirmed, it would be an incredible conflict of interest and violation of the separation of powers, while her hubby, Mrs. ICE Princess a/k/a John Wood-Myers (not sure if he’s adopted her surname, but he might as well have), is U.S. Attorney there.
The nomination rumor makes a lot of sense because–as with her other Bush nominations–The ICE Princess is completely unqualified for it. She has never held a job as a lawyer for more than 11 months and has done very little trial work, except drafting documents behind the scenes. Federal agents who worked with her when she was very briefly an Assistant U.S. Attorney gave her very low marks.
Imagine what kind of judge she’ll be. Will she order federal agents to release criminals then, too? Will she order them to not perform their jobs because the criminals have kids waiting. Will she have silly ex parte communications with litigants who complain to her, because she wants somebody to like her?
Leopards don’t change their spots.
Our only hope is that liberal Democrats in the Senate don’t give her the time of day when it comes to confirmation.
Or that someone in the Bush Administration finally discovers that this ICE Empress wears no clothing. But don’t bet on that. The Myers Kool Aid remains stocked and chilled, ready for repeat ingesting.
If things keep going this way–and they will–there may be no-one left to “enforce” this new illegal alien amnesty legislation. Will the last one out of ICE please turn the lights out?

Un”Mighty”: Muslims Heroes in Qaeda-less Jolie-Pitt Daniel Pearl “Lifetime”-esque Movie

By
I went to the screening of “A Mighty Heart“–activists Brad Pitt’s and Angelina Jolie’s movie on the Al-Qaeda murder of Daniel Pearl–expecting a movie with an agenda.
And that is exactly what I got. That, plus a Lifetime Channel weepy-damsel-in-distress movie of the week. Muslims are the heroes–NOT the perpetrators–in this “Can’t we all just get along?” kumbaya film ostensibly about terrorism.

What Does Illegal Alien Amnesty Bill Have in Common with Cher, Streisand?

By
The new immigration bill being pimped on us by the Bush-Kennedy Klan is a lot like Barbra Streisand and Cher.
Every decade–no every year for the last couple of decades–we’ve been told this is the last one: The last Barbra Streisand World Tour. The last Cher Farewell Tour. The last Immigration Amnesty. The last one, as opposed to the last, last one, and the last, last, last one before that.
And yet every year, these aging, outdated, decrepit phenomena keep repeating–the latest “last” Cher Farewell Tour; the latest “last” Barbra Streisand World Tour; and now, the latest “last” “comprehensive” immigration bill. Like flatulence from a bean burrito, they keep repeating. Keep coming back to us with a bad smell.

Cher, Streisand, Illegal Alien Amnesty:

American Flatulence That Keeps Repeating

(Amnestea by David Lunde/Lundesigns)

The only difference is that two out of the three only have big hair and bad, loudmouth politics. But one out of the three will change America as we know it . . . forever. And significantly jeopardize our nation’s national security.
One day, despite the plastic surgery, Barbra Streisand and Cher will truly retire and/or die. And their tours will end.
Unfortunately, “comprehensive immigration reform” will not. It can and will go through infinite make-overs and plastic surgery operations from new generations of Congress.
This version won’t be the last one.
Yup, unfortunately, while the two loudmouthed, chintzy singers from the ’70s will someday actually end their tours of America, immigration amnesty is a bad concert tour that will plague America forever . . . or until there is no America left.
It used to be only two things were for certain: death and taxes. Now, it’s death, taxes, and “comprehensive immigration reform” a/k/a illegal alien amnesty.

Girlie-Man Nation: Feminine Scents . . . for Men?

By
Over the weekend, the Wall Street Journal ran a serious piece on how the cologne and perfume industry is aiming feminine-smelling, floral scents at men. I say it was a serious piece, because it was meant that way but reading it was simply hilarious.
The title of the article says it all: “Scent of a Woman — Sold for a Man.”
Yup, while Al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist groups are training and planning to annihilate us, we’re busy trying to make our men smell like women. True, the Qaeda guys may not shower much. But it won’t make much difference when our guys are dead, yet smell flowery with a note of fruity vanilla. Better for our men to be malodorous, masculine, and alive than sweet-smelling for an ephemeral moment and then rotting six-feet under or blown to bits with 2,999 others inside a skyscraper.

Guys, here’s a hint: If it includes “notes,” “hints,” “whiffs,” or any other kind of involvement of any of these ingredients–all taken from the article–it’s strictly for the opposite sex, NOT for you:

Champagne, “crisp” rhubarb, “artisanal” quince fruit paste, or Albanian juniper berries; geranium, orange blossom, iris, or anything floral.

If it has any of those, it’s a perfume, not a cologne. Perfume: It’s not for men.
If it has these adjectives–also from the article–are used in the marketing of the scented spritz, fuhgedaboutit:

“dandy” or “exotic.”

American men should be neither of these.
If the cologne is called “Fleur Du Male” (Flower of the Male or Male Flower)–the name of Jean Paul Gaultier, avoid it like the plague. Gaultier is gay. That’s a hint. Straight men don’t wear flowers . . . unless it’s on their lapel at a cheesy high school prom.
No more “male flowers” needed. We have far too many wilting ones in America, already.
Here are excerpts from this hilarious lesson in marketing and the selling down the river of America’s masculinity. Next, we’ll be seeing lacy lingerie for heterosexual men:

Rhubarb. Geranium. Orange blossom. That lineup might sound better suited to a farmer’s market, but some of the biggest names in fragrance are gambling that these seemingly unmanly aromas are the future of men’s cologne.
Long averse to anything remotely feminine . . ., a new generation of younger men has been fueling fragrance sales with a willingness to experiment with exotic ingredients. . . .
The result: an olfactory free-for-all at the men’s cologne counter that features scents often more evocative of women’s perfumes than traditional male fragrances. A new Burberry scent has hints of mimosa and port wine. Key ingredients in John Varvatos’s latest entry, Vintage, include crisp rhubarb, “artisanal” quince fruit paste and Albanian juniper berries. Kenneth Cole’s R.S.V.P. boasts notes that include “wet grass” and “soft cashmere.” And Tom Ford just started selling scents in his men’s store called Tuscan Leather and Tobacco Vanille.
“You have to be careful,” says Richard Herpin, a perfumer with fragrance and flavor company Firmenich, which has developed fragrances for Vera Wang and Bond No. 9. He describes the creative process as trial and error. “You don’t want to overdo it because then you get into something that’s not wearable for men.”
But makers aren’t simply trying to appeal to men. One advantage of fruitier, more floral scents is their potential for sales to women, some of whom have long preferred men’s cologne over those designed especially for them. . . .
Indeed, far from downplaying their feminine side, some of the new men’s colognes flaunt it. Promotional materials for Viktor & Rolf’s Antidote, which is made with jasmine, call it a “dandy fragrance” for men who appreciate fine tailoring and sartorial wit. The name of Jean Paul Gaultier’s new cologne includes the French word for flower: It’s called Fleur du Male.
Men’s colognes have their biggest following among men under 35, African Americans and Latinos, according to Mintel International, a market research firm. More than 100 men’s colognes were launched last year, compared with 61 in 2005, setting a record, according to the Fragrance Foundation. Last year, global sales of premium men’s fragrances, those sold in department stores and high-end boutiques, rose nearly 4% to about $5.86 billion, according to Euromonitor International. In the U.S., sales last year increased by nearly 3% to about $1.4 billion.

Um, there’s a hint. The company monitoring the sales of these fragrances is called “Euromonitor International,” with emphasis on the Euro. Do you want to smell “Euro”? Didn’t think so.

The scents themselves are substantially different from what many people expect men’s cologne to smell like. When reporters asked men and women to blind-test some of these new fragrances on a recent afternoon near Wall Street in New York, most people in both groups identified them as women’s perfumes rather than men’s colognes. Some used words like “feminine” or “romantic” to describe the aromas. . . .
Bob Roberts, a 33-year-old computer-security engineer in Jessup, Md., who took a chance with one of the newer scents, says it took some getting used to. When he first sprayed on Christian Dior’s Dior Homme cologne, his wife said it smelled too flowery, “like a women’s perfume.”
But after it settled in, the couple no longer smelled the iris and began to detect hints of cocoa and leather. Now, whenever Mr. Roberts sprays himself, he waits a half hour before getting too close to his wife.

Here’s a note to America’s men: If it smells like a woman or like flowers, why would you wear it? Smells like that on a man may be scent-ual, but they are not sensual. They’re a turn-off. The article said that feminine scents for women were the next step beyond unisex scents.
On a happy note, the most popular new male cologne in America–according to the Journal–is still a masculine scent:

In 2006, the fragrance with the highest overall sales among new launches in department stores and boutiques, according to market researcher NPD Group, was a men’s scent: Sean “Diddy” Combs’s Unforgivable. Mr. Combs’s cologne is heavy on citrus — Sicilian lemon, Moroccan tangerine and grapefruit — and has hints of sparkling Champagne, sage, cashmere, sea moss and sandalwood.

Yes, there’s still something to be said for cheap classics like Old Spice or whatever. Or–better yet–just a plain, good old shower and deoderant.

HOprah Watch: Are Pigs Flying? Oprah Accepts Trip to ISRAEL

By
I’ve been the most acute observer of Oprah’s constant pan-Islamist programming and constant denigration of Israel and Israeli victims of terror. She’s deliberately used her show and her magazine to promote Palestinian terrorism and (see also ). Read all about it at Oprah Sucks and and .
But, now, Oprah has agreed to go see Israel and claims she sympathizes with the suffering of the Israeli people. Sort of. Call me skeptical. But, it’s not exactly like she chose to say this in advance. She was put on the spot at an event honoring Elie Wiesel, Monday Night, in New York. Wiesel called on Winfrey to visit Israel, where “the major war against terror is currently taking place,” according to Yediot Achronot, one of Israel’s two major newspapers.

BS, So Far: HOprah “Sympathizes w/ Israeli Suffering,” to Visit Israel?

(Islamofascist Oprah by Preston Taylor Holmes/Six Meat Buffet)

The paper reports that Oprah

said she sympathized with the suffering of the people of Israel and that she intended to accept Wiesel’s invitation and come with him to Israel.

But the paper merely paraphrased and doesn’t have the quote–so we don’t know exactly what she said.
Given Oprah’s history over 22 seasons of overt anti-Israel and pan-Islamist, pan-Arabist sentiment, I’m not holding my breath. If she ever does go to Israel–and if it’s not just a nice response when being put on the spot at a public event–you can bet the best we’ll get is a moral equivalency show, where she’ll equivocate Palestinian terrorists with innocent Israelis fighting to live in peace. Perhaps that will be an “improvement” from her magazine, which–as I’ve written–used 12 pages to glamorize a Palestinian terrorist and homicide bombing couple and compared them to “Romeo and Juliet.”
If she truly sympathizes with the the suffering of the Israeli people–as she claimed, Monday Night–she certainly has a funny way of showing it. Thus far, for Israel–and for all of us who understand the true extremist nature of the brand of Islam we are fighting, with friends like Oprah, who needs enemies?
So, I’m not holding my breath. Yes, Oprah agreed to go to Israel when Elie Wiesel finally demanded it publicly on the dais at a dinner. But I predict that what comes out of that–if anything does–won’t be ideal. Or even close.
Are pigs flying? Not exactly. And not yet. If ever.
Thanks to reader Alex for the tip.

Meet Your “Moderate,” “American” Muslim Neighbors: New Study Shows U.S. Muslims Are Extremists

By
For almost six years, we’ve heard the constant chorus: “Muslims in America are different.”
On 9/11, we were told that American Muslims would never commit the attacks like those perpetrated upon 3,000 Americans by 19 foreign Arab Muslims in our midst. The 19 men were different than Muslims in America, because they “hijacked their religion,” we were told.
On 7/7, we were told that European Muslims are different. We were told that American Muslims would never try to blow up subways and train stations here, unlike those in London who did it . . . twice, and those in Madrid who killed far more on their trains.

Poll of American Muslims: Islam is Hazardous to America

We were told–and continue to be told–that American Muslims would never continuously riot in the streets, burning hundreds of cars a day, as they’ve been doing throughout France, going on 3 years, and violently attacking and injuring more than a dozen police per day. American Muslims are different, we’re told. They’re far more assimilated, far more successfuly financially (as if jihad and Islamism are motivated by finances, not an extremist religion).
Younger Muslims–born and/or raised in America–are more “Westernized” we’ve been didactically informed. They would never do such a thing. They’ve watched “The Simpsons” and grown up with Christina Aguilera. Therefore, they’d never want to blow a fellow American up, we’ve been instructed.
Since 9/11, we’ve been subject to a virtual echo chamber from the conventional wisdom-ites: that Muslims in America different from their pan-jihadist brothers and sisters around the world–that somehow their American experience is far different, even though their mosques and imams and korans and hadiths preach the same hate against us.
Well, now we’ve come to find out that Muslims in America are not so different from their co-religionists around the world. In fact, their viewpoints are pretty much the same as that of their religious counterparts around the world, and getting more extreme with age and American upbringing.
The message of the just-released is clear (if you can get beyond the biased press coverage and headlines): America hasn’t moderated Islam or its adherents. Islam has made America Muslim residents more extreme, just as with its European counterparts. Wealth and education and opportunity and freedom have done nothing to moderate them.
The title of the study is deceptive: “Muslim Americans: Middle Class and Mostly Mainstream.” But while the study shows that most Muslims in America are, indeed, middle-class, they are anything but “Mainstream.” That is, unless the mainstream is referring to the mainstream of Islam around the world and not the mainstream of American values.
Islamists, like , president of the extremist , consulted with Pew in conducting this study. But, even with the cosmetics, the numbers and opinions should disturb you. Without the cosmetics, the real numbers are far worse.
The numbers are not news to me, because I’ve been warning you for years that this is exactly what the American Muslim street is thinking. Now there’s statistical proof. Here are the notable results (and, remember, since people lie in polls, the real statistics are likely a lot worse):
American Muslims Support Homicide Bombings
* More than one in four Muslims (or 26%), aged 18-29, said “Suicide Bombing is Justified.” 2% percent of them say it can often be justified, 13% say sometimes, and 11% say rarely. Add to that, the 5% don’t know/refused to answer this easy, instinctive question, and it’s even worse–for a total of 31%–almost a third of young American Muslims, who support homicide bombings. This younger group of Muslims is the most radical, the study found, and it’s the largest group of Muslims in America. It is also the future of “America’s” Islam.
* 12% of foreign-born Arab Muslims said that “Suicide Bombing Can be Justified Often/Sometimes.” That’s more than one in ten. 10% of them don’t know/refused to answer. That’s a total of 22% who apparently support homicide bombings. That’s more than one in five and almost one in four. Yup, if you meet an Arab Muslim on the streets of America, it’s a likely one in four chance he/she supports homicide bombings.
* 8% of all U.S. Muslims said suicide bombing is justified. Add to that the 9% that don’t know/refused to answer, and you get 17%, almost 1 in 5 American Muslims. For all foreign-born U.S. Muslims, 9% support suicide bombings–plus 9% refusing to answer, and it’s 18%. For all native-born U.S. Muslims, it’s 8% who support the bombings, plus 5% who refused to respond–for a total of 13%. Yup, being born and raised in the U.S. isn’t the moderating force it’s cracked up to be . . . if you’re raised in the Islamic faith.
American Muslims Support Al-Qaeda
So much for the Muslim propaganda slogans about Al-Qaeda not representing Islam and “hijacking the religion.” A significant portion of America’s Muslims support the group, and it’s growing:
* More than one in four American Muslims, aged 18-29, support Al-Qaeda. 7% outright viewed it favorably, plus 19% don’t know/refused to answer–for a total of 26%. Yup, more than one in four young Muslims in America supports Qaeda.
* One third of American Muslims age thirty or more support Al-Qaeda. 4% support the group outright, plus the 29% that refused to answer, for a total of 33%. If you can’t answer an outright no to this question, you support Al-Qaeda.
* Of all American Muslims, only 58% have a very unfavorable view of Al-Qaeda. 5% of American Muslims admitted to viewing Qaeda favorably and 27% refused to answer or claimed they didn’t know. Hmmm . . . 32% or about 1/3 of all American Muslims either openly liking Al-Qaeda or not wanting us to know what they really think (which means they like Qaeda, too).
Muslims Don’t Consider Themselves as Americans
* Among those under 30, only one in four–25%–consider themselves Americans first. 60% consider themselves Muslim first, 10% say “both equally,” and 5% don’t know. Age 30 and over, only 30% say they consider themselves American first, with 41% considering themselves Muslim first. Among total Muslims, 47% think of themselves as Muslim first, not American.
* Only 43% of all American Muslims said “Muslims coming to the U.S. today should adopt American Customs.” Among native-born American Muslims, that number drops to 37%.
Most American Muslims Don’t Believe Al-Qaeda Perpetrated 9/11 Attacks
Apparently, American Muslims want it both ways. Many of them cheer Al-Qaeda on, yet claim they don’t believe Qaeda perpetrated the 9/11 attacks:
* Only 40% of American Muslims believe Arabs carried out the 9/11 attacks. 28% don’t believe it, with 32% refusing to answer/don’t know. That’s a total of 60% who claim it wasn’t Qaeda. Among American-born Muslims, it’s hardly better. 48% believe Arabs did 9/11. 31% don’t believe it, and 21% refuse to answer/don’t know, for a total of 52% not believing Arabs committed the attacks.
And there are other serious implications:
The study says that 65% of Muslims are still foreign-born, mostly from the Middle East. Why are we allowing–why have we allowed–so many of those who hate us into this country to spread their hate and reproduce it in large families?
The study shows that even from 2000-2007, 18% of Muslims are still immigrants–significantly up from the 1980s. Why–after 9/11–are we letting one in five Muslims in America in from countries and a religion that hate us? It isn’t news to me. But it should be disturbing, nonetheless, that we have a policy of affirmative-action immigration for the religion of 19 hijackers and assorted worldwide beheaders, homicide bombers, and rioters.
But, predictably, this extremism and its implications and suggestions for our immigration policy, for our student visa policy, for other policies that should keep more Muslims out of America is ignored by the press.
Instead, they pretend–as do the makers of this study at Pew who call American Muslims “Mostly Mainstream”–that the study shows Muslims to be “just like us.”
The National Public Radio headline: “Pew Study Sees Muslim Americans Assimilating.”
Since when is one in four members of a religion supports homicide bombings in America a sign of “assimilation”?
Perhaps when the homicide bomber grew up learning who Paris Hilton is on FOX News and CNN and seeing the latest Spiderman movie. And, while his classmates shop at the Gap for the latest fashions, he’s there to find hoodie under which to camouflage the explosive belt.

1st, Muslim Illegal Aliens, The Movie; Now, The TV Show

By
Earlier today, I told you about “” a/k/a “Crossing Over,” a movie which sympathetically portrays Muslim illegal aliens and the “callous, cold-heated” ICE agents who do their job and try to deport them.
But, the movie–which comes out this fall–isn’t the only propaganda piece on this subject soon arriving for your viewing “pleasure.” This fall, the CW–that hip teen network that brought you the reality show auditions for strip-tease group “The Pussycat Dolls”–brings you “Aliens in America.”
The show is all the rage at CAIR (Hamas front-group, the Council on American Islamic Relations). It’s about a Pakistani Muslim exchange student (played by Adhir Kalyan) who comes to live in America with a Wisconsin family. The reason: She’s importing a friend for her unpopular son. It’s supposed to be a comedy.

CW’s “Aliens in America”

But the only comedy is that perpetrated on America. Reportedly, the show will make fun of Middle America and positively portray Muslims here on student visas as far smarter.
To some extent that is true, as we allow so many Muslims from all over (but especially from the Middle East) to come here, and we never see them again. They are the smart ones. And we are truly dumb, though not in the Homer Simpson way that this comedy will portray Wisconsinites. But dumb in the sense that we allow this and look the other way when the students suddenly disappear in to the great American abyss to plan and perpetrate jihad against us.
So many Muslims here on student visas overstay never attend or even enroll in school and overstay their visas, disappearing into oblivion. But you won’t see that in “Crossing Over,” or in “Aliens in America.”
In both, we are either evil or stupid (or both), and they are the smart, sympathetic ones.
Here’s hoping–and predicting–that “Aliens in America” (which airs on Monday Nights at 8:30 p.m.) is a big flop. I predict it won’t last more than 5 episodes (even with the “Everybody Hates Chris” lead-in and PC executives of the CW Network pushing it).

In Observance of the Jewish Holiday of Shavuot/Pentecost

By
To my friends and readers, in observance of the Jewish holiday of Shavuot (also Shavuos and in English, “Pentecost”), I will be out of blog commission, Wednesday and Thursday. But I have written several posts which my webmaster will post for me.
To my Jewish friends and readers, Happy Shavuot. To my friends and readers who are not Jewish and want to learn about the holiday, go here and here. Basically, the holiday is a celebration of G-d giving the Torah and the Ten Commandments to the Jewish people. (It is also one of the three Jewish harvest festivals, from when Jewish societies were primarily agrarian in nature, long ago.) On the holiday, men traditionally stay up all night, the first night, in Bible study, and we eat dairy foods.
Also, I will post a few more things before I leave my computer for the holiday. Stay tuned.
