ICE – The Movie (Fortunately, Not in Time for the Amnesty Bill)

By
**** UPDATE, 06/05/08: ****
Coming soon to a theater near you: “ICE, The Movie”–starring Harrison Ford, Sean “Spicoli” Penn, Ray Liotta, and Ashley Judd.
And it there’s one thing I can finally agree on with the inept ICE “leadership,” it’s the persona non grata status they are giving this film. More about that later.
A little over a week ago, the Weinstein Company studio sent me a press release about completed casting for a new movie, “Crossing Over.” It piqued my interest.

Harrison Ford is Hollywood’s Silver Screen ICE Agent

Nope, it has nothing to do with that fake psychic and his failed daytime show of the same name. But it has everything to do with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) . . . and sympathizing with illegal aliens against ICE agents–especially those from Detention and Removal Operations (DRO). The DRO agents and officers are the ones who round up illegal aliens, detain them, and deport them. They’re the less glamorized, under-appreciated, and completely mismanaged at the very top (under ) part of ICE that came to it from the INS.
Starring Ford as a top ICE agent in Los Angeles, and Penn as a Border Patrol agent, “Crossing Over” is written by Wayne Kramer, a South African immigrant who is–to say the least–soft on illegal aliens. Actually, it’s pure propaganda designed to influence immigration policy.
Here’s text from the liberal Weinstein Bros’ press release:

“Crossing Over” is a multi-character drama about immigrants of different nationalities struggling to achieve legal status in Los Angeles. The film addresses the issue from the point of view of the immigrants, as well as the immigration authorities tasked with enforcing the nation’s immigration laws.

Here’s what the movie’s really about: Taslima, a teen Muslim who was born abroad but raised here, reads an essay in class, asking us to see the architects of 9/11 as human beings. Suddenly, the FBI is investigating her family, and ICE is trying to deport her. And this is bad because . . .? If only that kind of stuff really happened in real life. Unfortunately, it does not.
She has two siblings born here, and now her family will be deported. The two anchor babies will have no parents to raise them if they choose to stay here. So sad, too bad. Sorry, I can’t feel sorry for these kids, only for our country which stupidly grants instant citizenship to kids of parents who cheat.
Oh, and there’s also an Iranian Muslim family, which wants to stay here. Reportedly, they are involved in an honor killing.
Production of the movie is being sped up to influence immigration policy in favor of illegal aliens and amnesty. It began filming this month and is already scheduled in theaters for the fall–a speedy production schedule unheard of in Tinseltown, today. Fortunately for us, the movie won’t make it in time to influence immigration legislation now under debate. If there is any “immigration reform,” it will happen before fall, or be tabled by victory hungry candidates facing election and re-election.
ICE “leadership” has ordered ICE agents NOT to cooperate with the making of this film. And, for once, I can’t say I blame them. And it’s a shame they are doing a movie about street level and mid-level agents. Those are generally the good guys. They should make one with the inept leadership at the top–a spoiled young chick with no law enforcement experience, who gets the job running ICE because her uncle is a general and she’s sleeping with the boss’ Chief of Staff. You can’t make this stuff up. Now, that would be a funny movie and would really show why we have so many problems.

No Joke: This is Hollywood’s Version of a Border Patrol Agent

I wonder how my Border Patrol agent friends like being portrayed by unstable, lefty loon, Jeff Spicoli. The way the L.A. Times describes it, it sounds as if Penn’s Border Patrol agent forces an illegal alien from Australia (whom he caught trying to cross over from Mexico) to give him sex in order for a Green Card. As if that has or even could happen. Green Cards are granted by Citizenship and Immigration Services, NOT Border Patrol.
Harrison Ford is not bad for an ICE agent, until you remember he’s actually an earring-wearing Vietnam War Draft Dodger in real life. And don’t expect him to be any more sympathetic as “Max Brogan, a seasoned Immigration Customs Enforcement agent who conducts surveillance and raids in L.A.” Reportedly, the former high-ranking ICE agent who’s working as the movie’s consultant is disgruntled. Trust me, this won’t be Han Solo, Indiana Jones, or even “Blade Runner’s” cool Rick Deckard:

One day, after he and other agents storm a downtown dress factory looking for illegals, Brogan comes upon a Mexican woman who pleads with him in Spanish that her 4-year-old son is upstairs with a neighbor lady and there is no one to take care of him if she is arrested.
Although he empathizes with the woman, he ignores her pleas.

Reality check: ICE Deportation officers regularly allow illegal alien parents to remain free if they are the only care-giver. That’s the problem. We show too much mercy. It’s not that we don’t show enough. A big reason why we’re in the immigration mess we’re in.
Here’s the scoop from my spies at ICE:

The in-production movie “Crossing Over” starring Harrison Ford/Sean Penn is about an ICE agent (possibly a corrupt one). The production company has tried to contact ICE for some insight on ICE operations. ICE Headquarters issued a directive that no one is to talk to the production company period.
Well the production company one-upped ICE and hired on their payroll a forced to retire DSAC [Deputy Special Agent in Charge] from Los Angeles Kevin Jeffrey (he left ICE disgruntled). Now Kevin is being paid good money for insider secrets about ICE. Of course Kevin still has some contacts in ICE so if he doesn’t know the answer he calls his few friends in ICE Los Angeles for any juicy tidbits that the “Crossing Over” production company could use.

I can’t comment on Mr. Jeffrey, but I do know that his job was filled by an inexperienced, unqualified 33-year-old chick, who is a pandering crony of ICE Director of Investigations Marcy “.” So, I can’t blame him for being upset at this horribly dysfunctional agency. I just hope the movie attacks the right targets at ICE. And it’s already obvious that it will not.
Hmmm . . . I could give them some juicy tidbits. But this movie is interested in the wrong ones. Like I said, I’m with ICE “leadership” on this one. This movie sounds like 100% pure propaganda.
Hey, even the broken clock atop ICE is right twice a day.

Sad: Young Police Chief Stricken by Alzheimer’s

By
Many of us have relatives or know of someone who has been stricken with the debilitating Alzheimer’s disease. And most of us remember when President Ronald Reagan wrote a letter to the nation announcing he was stricken with it.
Now, an Illinois police chief has been stricken with it at the relatively young age of 49. Spencer Johansen, Police Chief of Lexington, IL, announced he is in the early stages of the disease. And he started to notice symptoms of it–forgetting things–at age 47.
What shocked me about the story is his young age. According to a USA Today article on his predicament, of the 5.1 million or so Americans struck by the disease, at least 200,000 people younger than 65 have been stricken with the early-onset form of Alzheimer’s. Proof that you never know when your life will start to fade away.

Courageous Alzheimer’s-Stricken Police Chief Spencer Johansen

Chief Johansen has handled it all in a very brave, classy way. He could have resigned abruptly and told no-one, or he could have remained on the job, hiding his predicament. Instead, he courageously wrote a note to the 2,000 Lexington residents he swore to protect and keep safe, telling them of his condition. He will continue in his job, taking more notes and using electronic reminders of appointments. And he still carries his gun. He says he will know when it is time to give up his badge.

Israel vs. HAMAS Terrorists: A Study in Headlines

By
Yesterday, Israel struck back at HAMAS terrorists who are repeatedly shelling Israeli homes, businesses, schools, streets, and people with deadly rockets. The whole Israeli city of Sderot was evacuated because of the deadly HAMAS rockets.
8 terrorists and their family members–ie., future terrorists, terrorists in training (the boys), and past, present, and future terrorist-baby-making machines (the girls and women) died in the Israeli strikes on HAMAS. The hit was on the home of HAMAS “lawmaker” and terrorist Khalil Al-Haya.
So, here’s a check of the papers I read, this morning. As we all know, many people just read the headlines and move on. They don’t bother to read the articles and blurbs.
Headline from The Detroit Newsistan:

Israeli Missile Kills 8 in Gaza Home

(No mention of HAMAS and that the “Home” and the “8 in Gaza” are HAMAS terrorists in the headline and you don’t find these facts out until the middle of the article.)
Headline from the Islamist-occupied Detroit Free Press:

Israeli Missile Hits Politician’s Home

(Again, must read the article to discover the “Politician” is a HAMAS terrorist.)
And finally, the only intellectually honest headline of the day on this story, from USA Today:

8 Die in Israeli Strike on Hamas Target in Gaza

Even this one could have indicated that the strike was in retaliation for terrorists targeting an entire city full of innocent civilians. But its clearly far more truthful than the others.
You can tell a lot about a newspaper’s agenda by the headlines its news editors choose to put over news articles few actually reads. The Detroit Newsistan and the Detroit Free Press news editors have an agenda. And it’s to portray Israel in the worst light possible.
And that’s the prism through which you must read all of their headlines, articles, and blurbs. Or, better yet, don’t read them at all.

“Awesome” Goldilocks’ ShAmnesty: Brothers Chertoff & Kennedy’s Fairy Tales

By
We’ve learned a lot of things about Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff a/k/a “Mr. Burns”, since last week’s announcement of a Senate agreement on amnesty for illegal aliens and lawbreakers.
First we learned that he’s Homeland Security’s Valley-Girl-In-Chief. Who knew? I thought the title was reserved for The ICE Princess–ICE Chieftess Julie L. Myers. But, no. Chertoff told us that Ted Kennedy is “Awesome” for embracing this absurd mass amnesty plan. Next, he’ll be telling us that the amnesty plan is “bitchin’.” Uh, Secretary Chertoff, Moon Unit Zappa called, and she wants her airheaded, juvenile ling back. If anything, this ridiculous mass giveaway of citizenship, minus any security checks on the applicants or the temporary workers, is “grody to the max like totally,” “gag me with a spoon,” etc., etc., etc.

Nasty, Poisonous Tea Could Kill America

(Amnes Tea by David Lunde/Lundesigns)

Then, there’s Chertoff’s latest utterance–comparing those of us who oppose this immigration sieve to Goldilocks (yesterday on CNN):

If all people want to do is complain and say, well, this isn’t good enough–that’s the Goldilocks solution, where it’s always too hot or too cold.

Hard to believe this dude is Harvard-educated because he can’t even get his childhood fairy tales right. Not sure who changed his version of Goldilocks, but the one I remember–the one replicated in the Brothers’ Grimm Fairy Tales–is the one in which Goldilocks constantly finds the right temperature porridge, the right size chair, etc. After trying the Momma Bear’s and Poppa Bear’s accoutrements and finding them not to her liking, the Baby Bear’s food, chair, etc. all work out.
It’s just that unlike Chertoff and his revisionist version of Goldilocks, the actual, fabled Goldilocks not only did trial and error, but she actually learned from it and didn’t choose the wrong options over and over and over. She eventually discovers that the Baby Bear’s items worked for her. It’s like Chertoff keeps picking the adult bears ill-fitting plans and schemes, even though we’ve tried them in the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s–through each new “this will be the last, last amnesty” bill. And they never work.
Yes, we’d be better off with Goldilocks running the show, instead of Chertoff. She learned from her mistakes, as we have. The Goldilocks policy of tightening our borders and sending illegal aliens home works is JUST RIGHT.

Man Love & Illegal Aliens: Chertoff Hearts “Awesome” Teddy Kennedy

Too bad Valley-Girl-in-Chief Chertoff and his “Awesome” friend Ted Kennedy are still trying out Mama and Papa Bear’s lifestyle.
To sum up, Chertoff is:
* A Bad Valley Girl (too old, wrong sex, and wrong decade to be one);
* A Bad Revisionist Fairy Tale Teller; and above all,
* A Bad Homeland Security Secretary.
And based on his comments and failed analogy, I’m proud to be “Goldilocks” Schlussel.

As Goes the Muslim Mid-East, So Goes the Muslim Midwest

By
So, let’s see. In Ramallah, HAMAS and Fatah Muslims had a truce. And yet they couldn’t keep it for more than a second. They are .
And in little Ramallah a/k/a Dearbornistan, Shi’ites and Sunnis signed a truce, too. And that one lasted about as long. This week, Arabic graffiti was spray-painted on the Shi’ite mosque of Iranian agent and Hezbollah cheerleader, . The graffiti on the Karbalaa Islamic Education Center bore Arabic, which–when translated–means “Center of the Party of Satan.” It was apparently done by Sunnis, just as Sunnis attacked Shia-owned businesses in Detroit, not long ago upon the hanging of Saddam Hussein.
They can’t get along with each other, there. They can’t get along with each other, here. Yet, we’re supposed to get along with them famously.

So Sad, Too Bad: Hezbo-supporting, Iranian Agent

Imam Husham Al-Husainy Gets Hit with Graffiti

Unlike in Vegas, what happens in the Muslim Mid-East doesn’t stay there. It comes to the Muslim Midwest. . . and beyond.
“Religion of Peace.” Uh-huh.
The saddest part of all this is that way too much of our tax-funded FBI time, money, and resources is now going toward investigating this ceaseless violence between equally reprehensible barbarians.
It’s Alien v. Predator, the Dearbornistan Sequel. . .

GOP Official vs. Ron Paul: Saul Anuzis Needs to Look in the Mirror, Recruited Hezbollah to the GOP

By
Michigan GOP Chairman Saulius “Saul” Anuzis asserts that Ron Paul should not be in the GOP Presidential debates. If he’s going to kick out Ron Paul, then it should be ditto for Wisconsin’s Dairy State Dummy, .
But if that’s the case, then Saul Anuzis needs to leave the national GOP stage, along with them. He’s hardly in a position to chastise Ron Paul’s absurd assertion that we deserved 9/11 because of our foreign policy.
As the Chairman of the GOP in Michigan–the heart of Islamic America and the heart of terrorist support in America–Saul Anuzis has bent over backwards, time and again, for Islamists in Dearbornistan and throughout the Detroit area, trying in vain to get their money and votes . . . and holding his ankles in the process.

Michigan GOP Chairman Saul Anuzis & Rep. Ron Paul

Have a Lot in Common

He tried to recruit open Hezbollah and HAMAS supporter to run for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate against Debbie Stabenow. The Shi’ite Muslim Beydoun, vocally anti-Israel and , took part in another , and has opposed President Bush’s foreign policy–just like Ron Paul–from day one of the Iraq War, and from time immemorial on Israel and Iran. Ron Paul and Nasser Beydoun are ideological soulmates in a lot of ways–seeing eye to eye on most issues, especially the offensive statement that causes Anuzis to call for Ron Paul’s dismissal from the televised debates.
When I called him on this, months ago, Anuzis–whom I know–hemmed and hawed and lied about his recruitment of Beydoun, about which he openly bragged in the Detroit media, a couple of years ago.
Then, there’s Anuzis’ other disturbing ties. He recruited Jane Hershey Abraham, wife of Hezbollah-enabler and CAIR supporter (and now lobbyist for Muslim Middle Easterners) as Vice Chair of the Michigan Republican Party. Even though Mrs. Abraham does not live in Michigan (and is, therefore, not qualified to be a Michigan party officer), Anuzis told people he recruited her for the position because he “needs to get money and support from that community,” meaning the Muslim Arabs–that’s what Party activists who heard Anuzis said he meant.
Even though , himself, is not a Muslim, he is a Lebanese Christian who has made a recent career–in the U.S. Senate, in the Bush Administration as Energy Secretary, and now as a high-paid lobbyist–of enabling and assisting the most radical Islamic parties, including a man who headed a charity raided by Customs for funding Al-Qaeda. Abraham defended Yasser Arafat (he was one of only 2 Senators who refused to sign a letter calling on Bill Clinton to condemn Arafat’s terrorism) and put CAIR on the map on Capitol Hill at a time when the group was a nobody, well before 9/11. This is the community from which Saul Anuzis wants support. They’re Ron Paul’s natural allies, too.
But Ron Paul is a nutty libertarian. Far worse, Saul Anuzis is a scheming political prostitute.
Finally, Anuzis has been involved in high-ranking party officials, officeholders, and candidates hanging around and posing for pictures with Islamic extremists, agents of Iran and Hezbollah, and supports of HAMAS and Hezbollah. That includes former and likely future candidate for Governor , , and two of whom attended banquets for extremist Muslim terrorism supporters and posed for pictures with extremist imams who are known agents for Hezbollah and the Government of Iran.
So, to Saul Anuzis–the GOP leader who says that Ron Paul ought to be banned from GOP events–I say, interesting idea, BUT Look in the Mirror, Saul.
Pot. Kettle. Black. Ron Paul. Saul Anuzis.

Teaching Boys How to Be Men is IN Again . . . & On the Best Seller List

By

Today’s Wall Street Journal has a very interesting story about how a good, old-fashioned book that teaches boys to be boys . . . and men is racing up the book sales charts.

The Dangerous Book for Boys,” by English brothers Conn and Hal Iggulden, is aimed at boys around the age of ten and teaches them how to be boys, men, and gentlemen. And it brings back a sense of adventure and the outdoors to their lives. That’s refreshing in this age of boys knitting clubs, men scrapbooking, and other attempted blurring of the sexes that really aren’t good for society:

So here are instructions on how to skip stones, fold a paper hat, make a battery, and hunt and cook a rabbit. It includes a description of the Battle of Thermopylae, but also how to play texas hold em poker, and use the phrases “Carpe diem” and “Curriculum vitae.”

The unapologetic message is that boys need a certain amount of danger and risk in their lives, and that there are certain lessons that need to be passed down from father to son, man to man. The implication is that in contemporary society basic rules of maleness aren’t being handed off as they used to be.

The book aims to correct that. It does so with a pretelevision, prevideogame sensibility, and also by embracing a view of gender that has been unfashionable in recent decades: that frogs and snails and puppy dogs’ tails are more than lines in a nursery rhyme, and that boys are by nature hard-wired differently than girls.

But “The Dangerous Book for Boys” is also aimed at boomer dads, who nostalgically yearn for a lost boyhood of fixing lawn mowers and catching snakes with their fathers — even if that didn’t really happen as often as they think it did. . . .

On the back of the book’s cover — retro red cloth with oversized gold lettering — the come-on is “Recapture Sunday afternoons and long summer days.” Inside are odd-sized color illustrations of fish, trilobites, and an example of marbled paper. Some have compared it to Daniel Carter Beard’s “The American Boy’s Handy Book,” originally published in 1882. . . .

Paul Bogaards, an executive for rival publisher Bertelsmann AG’s Alfred A. Knopf, says he took a copy home to his eight-year-old son, Michael, whom he describes as “junked up on Nick, Disney and Club Penguin,” a Web site. Mr. Bogaards says Michael took to it immediately, demanding that his dad test paper airplanes into the night, even missing “American Idol.” He adds: “That’s the good news. The bad news is that he now expects me to build him a treehouse.” . . .

“We initially thought that men nostalgic for their boyhoods would be the buyers, but people are also buying it for 12-year-old boys,” says Mr. Benjamin. “This book teaches them its OK to play and explore.” . . .

Dangerous” ranks No. 5 in sales on Amazon.com Inc.’s Web site, which provides an adjacent diagram explaining how to tie some knots. A video, provided by the publisher, shows how a father and son can use the book outdoors, including a scene where Dad gives his son’s gravity-powered go-cart a push downhill.

There’s a reason boys don’t usually like to read books but are slurping this one like the 7/11 drink. They hunger for books they can relate to. And they’re tired of reading about feminized boys and tough she-girl superheroes. PC is out. “The Dangerous Book for Boys” is in.
Another cool feature of this book: It’s driving the feminists crazy:

The gender-exclusive nature of “Dangerous” bothers some women. In a posting on the livejournal.com Web site, one woman, addressing the book and boys in general, wrote: “Here’s a tip, kiddies: maybe the girls want to have the same kind of fun you do, instead of sitting around the house and learning how to be a servant.” . . .

HarperCollins says it doesn’t have any immediate plans to publish a girl’s version. HarperCollins’s Ms. Friedman, who has two sons and two stepsons, explains: “Boys are very different.”

Since the book is from the UK, chapters and portions about English pursuits and hobbies have been replaced with American ones:

Concerned that the book would seem too British, Collins asked the authors to adapt parts of it for U.S. readers. A section about royalty was replaced by the 50 states, American mountains and the Declaration of Independence. Baseball’s most valuable players and “How to Play Stickball” supplants the chapter on cricket. But rugby made the cut: it was tough, dangerous and better-known in the U.S. A “Navajo Code Talkers’ Dictionary” superseded Britain’s patron saints. . . .

Unchanged for the U.S. market were the two pages on the subject of girls. The first bit of advice: “It is important to listen.”

Sounds like a great book.
But there’s a rub: The book is published by HarperCollins, a division of News Corp. That means that if you buy it, you are contributing to the profits of anti-Semitic, pro-terrorist billionaire . So, your best bet is to buy a used copy (at the time of this writing, Amazon had several used copies available) or take it out of the library for your young son.

American Kids Graduate . . . & So Do Hezbollah’s Chicks

By
While graduations from most American universities and colleges around the country are wrapping up for the year, Hezbollah’s female college grads had a joint ceremony a la Moonie wedding.
In early April, more than 1,700 female Hezbollah supporters from Lebanese universities attended this large ceremony marking their graduation on a Sunday. But their graduation speaker wasn’t Hillary Clinton or Jody Foster. Nope, with Hezbollah “martyr” posters in the background, they had “rock star” Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s Terrorist-in-Chief, address them. I can just hear him now:

As you head into this world, do something important . . . like blowing yourself up. Or becoming the baby machine for a family of martyr men and your martyr hubby. Make an important difference in this world. And remember, “Death to America. Death to Israel. Allah Hu Akbar. You may now move your tassel.

Welcome Hezbollah Graduates

EXCLUSIVE/OUTRAGE: DHS Officials Say Welcome to the End of America

By
Aside from the basic absurdities of the Ted Kennedy-George W. Bush Illegal Alien Amnesty agreement reached today, there are these absurdities that I’ve learned from disgusted high-ranking Homeland Security officials in the know (whose alarming, MUST-READ e-mails are posted below):
1) Temporary Worker Program (TWP) aliens will NOT be checked against the most basic databases–so we have no way of knowing who these aliens are (they can give whatever name they want to give and it must be accepted at face value) and whether they are terrorists or criminals. DHS officials at Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) say the TWP applicants will NOT be checked against the TECS (The Enforcement Communication System) or IBIS (InterAgency Border Inspection System) databases (IBIS is part of TECS). Therefore, it is a certainty that many Islamic terrorists and hardened criminals will have a golden ticket into America.

2) Currently, CIS officials are “encouraging” all immigration and citizenship application adjudicators to approve 10 applicants per hour. That means no more than 6 minutes per applicant is spent checking who they are, CURRENTLY. Imagine what will happen under this new Amnesty Bill when over 100,000 people per day must be processed (and their applications are being farmed out to private companies like the one that approved the 9/11 hijackers’ visas, after 9/11). Yup, CIS chief –who is –is forcing employees to rubber-stamp through citizenship applications.
Think that’ll change when 30 million new applications (when all family members end up here) come into the mix? Think again.
3) All applicants to the TWP and citizenship parts of the bill have at least a 24-hour until their fingerprints and info go online all over the country. That means they have a 24-hour window to apply at multiple CIS offices to get multiple citizenship documents under various names and identities. There is no check on this.
4) Even where backgrounds are checked and/or applicants are caught with terrorist or criminal problems or inconsistencies, ICE(Immigration & Customs Enforcement)–which investigates and enforces against them–turns down 79% of the referrals it gets from CIS, and those people get to become citizens, anyway. Wonderful.
5) The increased border presence and toughness? Don’t hold your breath–this quid for the quo of giving citizenship to millions who don’t deserve it–is really not a quid at all. This bill doesn’t guarantee that, unlike the Mainstream Media’s false reports. All it guarantees is that 6 months or so from now Michael Chertoff promises to give President Bush a plan for what he’ll do 18 months beyond . . . when all of them are out of office and heading for shuffleboard and the Early Bird Special in retirement in Miami or Boca or whereever. OH, and by the way, the “increased border security” in the air will be a scant two drones each for thousands of miles of unmanned territory on our northern and southern borders. What a joke.
6) Don Crocetti, Director of CIS’ Fraud Detection National Security Unit, is responsible for all the national security background checks at CIS, benefit fraud analysis, etc. He was investigated and censured by congress for his role in the Citizenship USA scandal at INS. Guh-reat!

Homeland Security’s Emilio T. Gonzalez & Michael Chertoff:

The Bozos in Charge of Giving Away American Citizenship

READ THESE E-MAILS from high-ranking DHS officials who want me to get the word out to you that the Great American Sell-out is about to begin. They’ve been sending me these since well before the Club Ted (Kennedy)-Bush America Sell-out on immigration was reached:

The Treasury Enforcement Communication System/Integrated Border Inspection System (TECS/IBIS). TECS/IBIS contains historical and enforcement data on travelers, and provides a gateway to other sources of data. These other sources include the Terrorist
Screening Database (TSDB), FBI criminal history and National Crime Information Center (NCIC, outstanding wants/warrants, vehicle and driver’s license-related data contained in National Law Enforcement Telecommunication System (NLETS), and Department of State alien records, lookouts, and status indicators.
In order to expedite processing applicants of the TWP, USCIS will not use IBIS or TECS because the temporary processing stations will not have connectivity to the databases. USCIS plans to process 100,000 TWP applicants per day during TWP.

***

Debbie,
USCIS will not conduct an INTERAGENCY BORDER INSPECTION SYSTEM (IBIS) CHECKS on applicants as part of the TWP. This will increase the number of applicants processed each day (and decrease our safety).

***

CIS will NOT use IBIS/TECS Background Checks during the process of applicants at the Temporary ASC locations [DS: ASCs are Application Support Centers, where they will process Temporary Worker applicants]. CIS plans to open 100 Temporary ASC locations WITHOUT connectivity to IBIS/TECS.
Will Congress be interested to hear the news that they are funding a part of the Guest Worker Program that DOES NOT CHECK BACKGROUNDS OF ALIENS????!!!!

***

ICE, CIS, Immigrations, Broken Borders, and Why We Can’t Catch Them
The Citizenship Immigration Service (CIS) is currently churning out
approvals of aliens as fast as they can get them. Adjudicators are told “verbally” that they must process at least 10 approvals an hour to be successful. Officially everyone is told “there is no quota”, but reality is the real issue. The real crux of this problem is that each adjudicator has 6 minutes or less to determine each filing, which entails looking it up in Claims database, a quick scan for criminal records and criminal history, a quick scan whether the petitioner exists, whether the beneficiary exists, and an eyeball of the original documents for completeness. If fraud is not blatant or apparent then it is stamped approved and off it goes to have notices sent out and filing.
Some of the really good adjudicators can do 20 cases an hour and that
doesn’t include coffee breaks or lunch. Of course the head of CIS
Emilio Gonzalez, stated to Congress that there is no quota.
Referrals are made to one of the fraud units (FDU) when the fraud is so blatant that it cannot be easily ignored, or it came across the desk of an employee who actually tries to do their job, in spite of the penalties that occur when a case (Petition or benefit) is referred to the fraud unit.
Don’t be confused, but there are several fraud units all located at
basically the same service centers, and it is not clear exactly which
unit does what. A memorandum of understanding is pending to determine exactly what cases go to the Fraud Detection Unit (FDU) at the Service Center, or the Background Check Unit (BCU), or the Center Fraud Unit (CFU), or the Fraud Detection National Security (FDNS) entity.
The Washington controlled FDNS is located at each main service center. Each service center runs a CFU and now has a BCU, whereas the former FDU has had its personnel shifted to FDNS and to CFU and to BCU.
The CFU, BCU, or FDNS can send cases to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for investigation. ICE is floundering for reasons of personnel, lack of leadership, lack of guidance, lack of ability, lack of resources, and lack of morale. ICE is the only authorized agency that CIS entities can refer investigative cases to. Don Crocetti, head of FDNS, has FDNS personnel collecting data on all the cases referred to ICE, to include how long it takes ICE to open a case, how many forwarded investigations that ICE rejects, and how long ICE takes on an investigation. ICE is rejecting about 79% of all forwarded immigration fraud cases. These rejected cases are then handled administratively. A senior FDNS intelligence research specialist stated “if there aren’t 300+ petitions & beneficiaries involved in the fraud case, then ICE will not work it, and it will take ICE between 6 months to a year to tell us (FDNS) that they reject it.”
During this process, once the decision is made to handle the petitions
“administratively” a notice is usually sent out, an “intent to deny”
notice. This is not so great an idea, so even though fraud was found
(but we can’t say that) and ICE won’t investigate it further because it won’t be a name grabber in the press, we send out a notice to the
petitioner, lawyer, and beneficiary, to the address that is many times
itself, fraudulent. We give them 30 days to reply. Even if they were at the address, does anyone think for a common sense moment, that an
illegal (EWI – entry without inspection) attempting to obtain status is going to depart, just because he/she has been told to, when they are already here illegally?
ICE will not be looking for them, because Ice has already declined to
investigate. FDNS will process and send it back to the adjudicator, who will issue a notice and later the petition gets stamped denied. Oh how fearful.
How much fraud and where? FDNS has conducted benefit fraud assessments (BFA) since CIS’s last testimony in Congress. Congress asked the question, “How much fraud?” CIS leaders did not know how much and even with the current system, not all cases/petitions are examined, merely a random sampling. The average types of employment petitions have a standard fraud rate of about 25%. This means that nearly 1 out of every 4 employment petitions are fraudulent, and it means that a large part of them are approved, allowing beneficiaries involved in fraud to receive benefits and status in the USA.
But that’s not all…Religious worker fraud is probably the worst. In an ongoing BFA on religious workers the overall assessment found around 36% fraud of petitions from all religious workers (Methodists, Catholics, Buddhists, etc, etc). Even worse is the breakdown of percentages by religious group (which CIS was told specifically by leadership NOT to address). Islamic religious groups’ average fraud reached 77-78%. This will not be released since it, as explained in Apr 2007 telephonic conference, “lends itself to be misconstrued, and in itself may not be politically correct.”
Moral issues, morale issues, and “war on terror” issues, or even plain
honesty are not even a thought or consideration to CIS leadership as
they examine facts, figures, and realities, and mold them to say what
they want to, even to the US Congress. Somewhat like the CIS informal report about ICE and the fraud rejection rate that is in preparation and will be dropped on DHS leaders soon. And ICE thought they were in sad shape now.
But that is not all, remember FDNS, Fraud Detection and National
Security which translates to terrorism cases. FDNS is prohibited from
working with FBI or JTTFs until/unless ICE allows it (MOU). A number of interesting individuals are allowed to go on about their way, since FBI does not share why they want certain individuals paperwork held, and CIS doesn’t care unless they are given a reason. Once again lack of coordination between federal agencies has created yet another mass method for terrorists to easily enter and operate in the US, completely unknown.
A local FDNS supervisor has stated “we don’t work national security
issues. We will only work fraud.” FDNS headquarters is still “in
formation” for its national security unit. It received a lot of
government money to conduct this mission, which still remains unrealized at every level.

HaHa Funny: The Joke’s on You, America

When Michael Maxwell, former Director of Security at CIS testified before Congress, he spoke about the 6 minute rule and the failure of ICE to investigate and Don Crocetti–Director of CIS’ Fraud Detection National Security Unit–keeping statistics on ICE investigations. At the time, the failure rate of ICE to investigate referrals was about 70-72%. So it has increased (to 79% refusal to investigate immigration fraud)! Thanks, Julie Myers. Neither agency has changed–they’ve gotten worse. And with Amnesty, the nadir we thought was the nadir will sink even lower.
Welcome to the GREAT AMERICAN SELL-OUT. Say Buh-Bye to America as you know it. And Buh-Bye to the “9/11 President.” With this legislation, President George W. Bush shows us he’s every bit 9/10 as the ACLU. And a lot more naive.
The Great American Abyss just got more Abyss-ant. To our detriment and ultimate destruction.
